As with some others that have left reviews on this site regarding wheel alignments, this location seems to view this work as a blank cheque. I was told (and was given a written estimate by them) that i needed to replace practically all of my front steering components, along with new front tires, before a wheel alignment could occur. That seemed odd, as I had the front end inspected 2 months prior and had made some repairs. So i returned to the same mechanic, and he did confirm 1 tie rod end was out of spec and needed replacing, not the entire front end.if i was given that news when they did their inspection, i would have had them do the work and complete the alignment. No return trips for me.

Fast and reliable service. Reasonable prices. Great work. Highly recommended. Two ladies at the front poses an excellent customer service skills. They definitely deserve a raise. Keep up the good work.

If I could give zero stars I would. DO NOT take your car here, especially if it is an older car. These guys are NOT mechanics. I brought in my car for a pre-quoted wheel alignment quoted at $150. A couple of hours later I received a call with a laundry list of things that are wrong with my car, including that it needed an air filter change, new tires, new tie rods, an engine shampoo etc. In addition they also said that my battery was good and my coolant was good. However, at no point did I ask them to check any of this stuff, I simply asked for a wheel alignment. When I refused the additional work they said they couldn't do the wheel alignment without at least changing the tie rods which would cost $900. The tie rods were just rusty and I believe they couldn't loosen them so they suggested new ones instead. When I refused that, they charged me $90 for taking the car in and "checking to see if they could do the wheel alignment. " Included in this were charges for an environmental disposal fee and shop supplies even though they didn't do any work. When I asked about these charges there was absolutely no flexibility. This is the typical play where they get you in for a sunk cost of $90 and then lay this list of other repairs on you so you feel like you have to do those since you already invested the $90. Why would they check all that other stuff that I didn't ask for if not. They call it a courtesy check but it is very much self serving. Never again. This was a terrible experience and I can not recommend this place.

Blew a bad tire and driving on the donut plus moving out of town town in days. Shopped around and got the run around at other places (tountian Fires). Quick response on line, email, and phone. They are on top of it. Fit me in quickly, total tire replacement and well as inspection issues and quotes to fix the. In and out in no time. And the price was exactly the quote and VERY reasonably priced. Can say enough about the front staff lady, knowledgeable and on to of things and friendly to boot cant say enough good things, my car rides great!

I got the inspection, and showed my car needed 3 struts replaced at front wheels. Does my car have 3 wheels at front? As I foreigner barely understand English, I think they faked me and price was much more expensive than others cuz other service asked replacing 2 struts.

Good and quick service. Staff was friendly. Had one of my tires replaced as the rim was damaged. They fixed it within few hours with battery change. We will definitely go back there

Had a major engine repair on our low miles 2010 Subaru (head gaskets replaced - and timing belt and water pump done at same time for good measure while the engine was apart) done by Trail Tire Westbrook in July 2022. It was a complicated repair with lots of parts and actually required lifting the engine because of the Subaru boxer engine design. Ryan C.was our main contact person and called every day with updates once the repair started to take longer than expected. Very happy with the end result - everything seems to be working fine 5 months later.

Ryan was very helpful - getting back to me and checking tire heights exactly and leading me to book for my tires with trail tires, although went with closer location in NW - but thank you Ryan

The tire service is good, but they FORGOT to tell me to come back for a RETORQUE on rim bolts. I drove for 85kms and my tires sounded they were coming off. I had to goto another shop to get bolts retorqued. Hopefully, no damage on my rotors. Always ask if you need a retorque!

Really happy with my experience here! They got me in so fast and the service was great. Going to use these guys again in spring.

Got my tires M&B at this shop, and the staff said different set of lug nuts needed for my rim to got installed.
So $60 for additional 20 lug nuts.
Then informed me 4 special hub rings needed for my rims to got installed.
So $ 30 more.
Today morning, the staff called me, and the hub rings arrived and I could drop off my car anytime, and would be done in couple hours.
Normally they said they are fully booked, so to made sure the job could be done today, and I called.
And the lady said “yes, and see you here”
But when I was there, I was told they were fully booked, and I have to come back next time.
I am not sure they know what they are doing.
What a waste of my time.

I received an estimate for a mount & balance of 2 tires and an alignment check over the phone. The amount for each service was $60 for M&B and $50 for the check plus shop supplies & tax, which is totally reasonable. Made the appointment having to wait 3 days before they could get my vehicle in. I had to drive with the spare tire on the front in mean time, which is a pain because the donut/temporary tire is only rated for a max speed of 80 km/hr.
On morning of my appointment, I went to drop off my car and a different service advisor then the person who I initially spoke to, reviewed the service needed and the estimated costs to be completed. There was a difference of $35 between the two. I questioned why. The M&B was actually $80 not $60 I was told. I really don't understand how a mistake like that could be made on pricing if they are a tire shop. The advisor would not honor the estimate I was given, but the annoying thing was the attitude and the manner of how she looked at me as if I was complete fool.
The guy advisor who provided the estimate sat sullen in the corner and would not look at me.
I picked up my keys and walked out.
Drove down the street to Fountain Tire, they got my vehicle in same day and ready for pick-up before 2 pm. M&B $71 + Alignment check $50. Service advisor was friendly and efficient. Much better choice.

So I got a quote from you guys on some rims and tires and the person emailed me over the quote.i thought the prices were a little high on the rims so I got some more quotes. On online was 111.00 less per rim that's 444.00. Another was 100.00 less per rim and last one was from another trail store and they quoted me 85.00 less per rim for the same item. Why is your store so much more then these othere places? Wonder if your over charging on the other items I asked about too. Saved 4400
. 00 not buying from you guys. And even messaged the person back and haven't got a reply asking why

Went in to get my battery checkd after getting a boost. A young tech found the bat on my keyfob was weak. Replaced the bat and vehicle ran like a top.

Excellent customer service and support! Brandy took the time to do some research for me. I wholeheartedly endorse this shop location. I have purchased tires here, they have helped with battery issues and regular oils changes and I feel their explanations are straight forward and the prices waaaaaay better than the dealership.

Formerly Blaskin & Lane. Joined forces with a similar company in Edmonton to get better buying power. Same ownership and same WAY above average quality and friendliness.

Very fast and efficient service - was able to bring a set of wheels with old tires on, and new rubber to be exchanged and this was completed without a pre-booked appointment within a few hours.

Friendly staff both on the phone as well as in person made for a seamless and convenient exchange.

Covid protocols were in place at this location.

My choice. Better service, faster turnaround, better prices. These guys over the Fountain Tires down the road.

Would recommend stuck to their quoted price no surprises, they were timely and quick to get the job done. Seems like a great group of guys working there, got a follow up call a couple days later to make I had no issues after driving with the new tires on. Will definitely give them future business.

Blaskin and Lane (Forest Lawn) has never let me down, they have saved me from many flat tires, they have done a great job on all my way too old cars at probably the best prices in the city. I have brought them a 01' Integra and asked them to keep her going and they did! They will piece the work out (as long as it's safe) to make it affordable and no one can beat their used tire prices!

I don’t advise people to install there tires at that location.
My front tires almost they came off while I was driving.
The manager told me they left a notice in the car to comeback and rotate the tires after 80 km, but I didn’t see the notice in the car and no body mention that to me.
Poor customer service!

I dropped my car off to get a tire patched, which should have taken a couple hours and it did; however, no one had called me to let me know it was finished. When I arrived at the shop to pick up my car, I found out that they had accidentally given my keys to another customer. Extremely frustrated by this, was barely given an apology, just instantly given excuses as to how it happened, and still had to pay the full price of the repair.

Dont fall for their protection plans. Its just to extract money. Never live up to their plans. Avoid.

Good people working here, i never feel like im taken advantage of here - friendly staff and never had issues with my car afterwards (had my engine fixed and tires chanfed here frequently - i buy all my tires from here for me and my family)

Very good service. Spent 2 years getting my alignment done at another garage and it kept going out of alignment. Brought it here and they found and fixed the issue. Only down side is they book up so quickly!

Had taken a flat tire off the car, just needed a patch to fix the flat. Arrived at 930 on a saturday and was able to leave it til later that day. Was told it is 2 to 3 days to patch ONE tire. CRAZY.

I took my vehicle in as I just needed my tires changed. I was quoted 50 originally (because the tires were on rims) but there was a misunderstanding that the tires were not on rims, and I was given a different price that was much higher when I came in and dropped off my car (around 150). When I asked about it on the phone when I got home, the folks at THIS STORE SPECIFICALLY (1708 37th ST S. W), were so kind to let me know exactly where the misunderstanding occurred and they charged me the normal 50. Side note: even when there was a misunderstanding with the higher price, they gave me a discount on that price even at the beginning before they did any work on it. They were extremely helpful and efficient and checked my brakes with no charge on top. I say THIS store specifically, because when I first came home, I accidentally called the 1624 16th Ave N. W. Blaskin and Lane Store to ask about the price difference, and the person who spoke to me on the phone was immediately DEFENSIVE, and RUDE and completely unprofessional when it came to letting me know why the prices were different. He spoke to me as though I was an idiot who did not know anything about cars, and unfortunately, as a customer, I think it's a normal question to ask about the differences in prices especially when the original quote was so different. And good thing it was the wrong store I called, because If it was the same store as where I left my car at (1708 37th ST. S. W.), I can tell you right now, I would have picked up my car immediately and found another place. So If you want to get your car looked at and checked, you should check out THIS store specifically because the people there were extremely nice and cleared up any misunderstandings in a professional manner. Not once did they speak to me as if I knew nothing. I highly recommend this store on 37th St. SW and NOT the 16th Ave N. W.one.:)

Fountain Tire said they couldn't fix my flat because it was the long weekend (I was the only customer in the store exactly when they opened). The kind folks at Blaskin & Lane, however, were more than happy to help. I was back on the road in less than an hour.

What a difference from dealing with dealerships. Took our vehicle for an oil change, a tire check as they were loosing air monthly and full system checkup. We asked for a quote on new tires. We where supplied with a quote and we decided to get the work done. 3 hours later everything was done and there were no surprises.

Unlike with dealerships, we didn’t get nickel and dimed. We didn’t have someone telling us we need upgrades etc.

We are so pleased with the service we received and fully recommend Blaskin and Lane. Honest and courteous service with no surprises. All my vehicles will be service by them.

Called and asked if we could book the Pathfinder due to there being a screw embedded in the tire. They said bring it down and it'll be done be 5pm (that same day). Got a call and picked it up only a few hours later. They said the screw didnt go all the way through and so there was no charge. These guys are as honest as they come.

Completely satisfied with the helpful staff when ordering, quick arrival of tires, phone call updates and a good price. I’ve been to the B&L for years and they continue to be a place I want to do business.

The best repair shop in the city. These guys are honest and fair. My vehicles will never go anywhere else. They've helped me out in pinches a few times.

Greg and his team are the best! They have helped me several times when my tires got flat. They always deliver efficient and fast service. Unlike other company, you can rest assured that you are not being ripped off especially with someone like me who doesn’t know much about vehicles. They are very professional! Highly recommended!

I always book (well ahead) to wait while I have my tires changed each season! Absolutely no reason to consider going anywhere else.

They started working on my vehicle as soon as I arrived for my apointment. Tire replacement was quick, no hassle. I was informed about rebate that I was not aware of. Overall excellent experience.

I have used this location for all my tire needs over the last 3 years. I have never had anything but Gold Star service. Everyone from point of contact on the telephone, to Gerry and the front desk advisors, to my quick re-torque visit after servicing have always been very friendly and professional. My tire had a slow leak which abruptly got worse.they got me in the same morning I called, fixed my tire within the hour and it was very inexpensive! Thanks again guys

We buy our tires at B&L and have the tires switched out there. The customer service is outstanding. Everyone is friendly, helpful and professional. The service is top notch. They even have cookies for your dog! Highly recommend this B&L.

They took my tire out NEO on the phone, gave me a time to show up THAT DAY and as I sat in their comfy lounge drinking a great coffee they had the tire replaced in 20 minutes.
