Made an appointment online for a bridal appointment. Was told would get a call /email follow up to confirm. Left multiple voicemails no one ever called me back. Called again and was told they didn’t have any appointments. The lady wasn’t the friendliest and ended the call saying hope you will give us another try. Before I could say anything they hung up. Super disappointing experience before ever going in there

Calinda set the bar high for my first experience with trying on bridal dresses. She ultimately picked out the dress I said yes to after seeing some of the picks I was pulling for myself. Was completely understanding when I said we still had another appointment to go to and wanted to see it through before actually commiting. But we came back for the dress as nothing could beat it. I didn't feel pressured at all which I was worried about. Thank you Calinda for all the help and making this an amazing experience. You can tell how much you care about the brides to be your helping.

After shopping at every dress shop in the city, I finally found THE wedding dress at Blissful Bridal. At multiple appointments visiting the other boutiques, I felt rushed, the staff was rude, and overall didn't have a great experience. When I came to Blissful the staff was so attentive and truly took the time to understand what my vision and style were. The owner CaLinda was so helpful and took into account every detail. She gave my bridal party blankets while they waited, she and her assistant even stayed after hours to be sure we were satisfied with everything. I came to CaLinda 7 years ago to purchase my grad dress as well, I cannot recommend her and her team enough! A very pleasant experience every single time!

My daughter and I attended her appointment this weekend! The store was set up in a fashion that made sense and was clean with a lovely environment! This review is long overdue. This is where I found my dress. I like how they have you just walk around and pick out a couple you like like a normal store, instead of talking to a sales person about what you want and having them bring suggested dresses. This way you feel more selective and like you know you’re not missing anything. I had a good experience here in 2018/2019 with Melissa and Jeremy, but some of these other reviews are very disheartening. = (

I had an amazing experience here, and ended up getting my dress from here too! I had visited 6 or 7 bridal shops in Calgary, and here was definitely my favourite. Other bridal stores were chaotic, rushed, the attendant was helping out other girls, or doing other things, but here all the attention is on just you, you can take your time, and will even get photos taken of you if you come alone (like I did). So happy I found this gem, and really excited about picking up my dress (which came months earlier than expected after ordering!).

I went to see Colinda in January to look for my perfect dress. I ended up falling in love with one and said “Yes to the dress! ” With my wedding coming up in July I took it to the seamstress on Friday and she let me know that even with alterations she could not make the dress fit me properly. Knowing all sales are final on wedding gowns I decided to reach out to Colinda anyways to see if she could help. She not only got me in the same weekend, she helped me find the perfect dress that I feel amazing in and gave me full credit from my previous dress. Weddings can be a stressful time, but Colinda made me feel 100% at ease and was so wonderful with me even the second time around. Thank you so much for making my experience wonderful and as stress free as possible. I would highly recommended this place to everyone! Colinda stands behind her gowns even being a small business. It’s nice to see!

Blissful Bridal was an amazing experience for bridal gown shopping. Calinda was very welcoming and sweet. She went out of her way to help me find the type of dress I had in mind. She put a veil on me to get a full idea of the look with the dress I liked, she also added a skirt under the dress because I wanted it to look more full. She went above and beyond to help out. She also contacted the dress supplier to see if I could get the dress in at an earlier date. She kept in touch with me and told me all the details for the dress shipping a couple of days after my appointment. She was awesome! I would definitely recommend Blissful Bridal to all brides looking for their special dress.

After visiting a few other bridal shops and not finding what that I was looking for anywhere, I came to Blissful discouraged and without any expectations. First of all, I heard back from Blissful right away after requesting an appointment on their website. During my appointment, I was not rushed and I was free to roam around the store and look at all their inventory. Melissa was wonderful. She was so helpful, patient, and professional. I was fortunate to finally find my dress at Blissful! Even if I did not make the order at the first appointment, the team at Blissful spent extra time taking my measurements and discussing sizes. They were not "pushy" for the order and told me to take my time. I eventually ordered the dress and this was all done so smoothly over the phone. I cannot wait to return to Blissful to pick up my dress when it arrives in a couple of months! Thank you, Melissa and CaLinda!

Just ordered my wedding dress from here. I had an amazing experience. Sarah my consultant was wonderful. She ensured I was able to try on all the fit styles that I was entertaining. Provided me with more than ample options when pairing veils with dresses before ultimately deciding on my dress. Both Sarah and Calinda made sure I knew of all the colour and neckline options before committing to my dress. Calinda also double checked my measurements which made me feel at ease to ensure the correct size is ordered. I can’t wait for my dress to come in.

Had a great experience here while shopping for a grad dress. We made an appointment request but didn’t get a response in time, so we decided to head over anyway to see if that had even received it. The woman at the reception desk squeezed us in between appointments, which was more than enough to find a dress that I loved. All the staff were very helpful, and the prices are reasonable, especially compared to other stores!

Very bad communication.
I had an appointment today based on an accident I was running a bit late. I contacted them (an hour before), I sent an email and also left a phone message (they don't answer phone call) for them that if it's needed to be rescheduled, they didn't respond.when I got there, they didn't even let me in store, although still more than an hour of my appointment was left.

So I came all the way for getting this very awful behavior.
The communication is super bad.

CaLinda is one of the most patient, generous humans I've had the pleasure of dealing with. The care she shows her clients is top notch. Blissful is a beautiful space and highly recommend a visit here for any bride to be or grad. The selection is excellent and we did find a beautiful gown to say yes to.

CALINDA IS THE WORST! Do not shop here - It was absolutely the most terrible wedding dress shopping experience for the Bride (I'm the Maid of Honour). After reading many reviews on here, Calinda seems to be the culprit for a negative shopping experience for many brides, I'm surprised she's still employed. She exudes terrible customer service - she was very rude to our group, and pressured the bride and made her feel uncomfortable. After trying on three dresses, we left. But honestly, the vibes in the studio made us so uncomfortable we wished we left after the first dress but we were trying to be polite. How is Blissful Bridal still in business with this type of experience for so many brides? The dresses are pricy for the quality - you can find way better gowns for a better price point, at many other bridal salons across Calgary. Run away from this place.take my (and many other reviews on here) word for it.

Great natural and indoor lighting options to see the dress, mirrors positioned so you can see yourself at all angles in the dress. Good selection with various price options. P.s. Sarah was absolutely amazing.

I ordered my wedding dress from CaLinda at Blissful Bridal. It was one of the first dresses I tried on but, of course, I couldn't settle right away. There was no pressure at all, she was very friendly and great to work with. She listened to me and she helped me try different styles.it was the easiest session! She has a great selection of gowns, accessories and jewelry! My family felt comfortable and loved that we were able to take some time to comment what we liked and didn't like about each dress. I absolutely recommend making an appointment with them!

We ordered a grad dress back in November with our contract stating it will be here April 7th.well that day came and gone emailed few after April 7th with very little.communication as to when the dress will be here. May 11th came and the dress finally showed up. But at the end of April we went else where because we needed the dress to be altered and stated that in the email. Asked if someone could contact me. Here we are may 31 and still no one had co tasted me. Will never recommend these ppl to anyone. My 14 year old daughter can run a business better then these people. And when asked for the store credit we are being g ignored. Shame on you for running a.business like this!

Booked an appointment to try on dresses because I have never tried any on before for my wedding this summer to only be told they have nothing in my budget and to not bother trying on their dresses. I drove 15 HOURS out of my way to go dress shopping and to only be told to go back to the redneck town I came from. DO NOT BOTHER WITH THAT ROUND RED HEAD AT THE RUNNING THE FRONT! Left in tears with my baby and maid of honor

Blissful bridal was wonderful! I found my dream dress there! It’s was such an intimate special experience. The staff where super understanding and I truly felt like all of my concerns where heard! I would recommend blissful bridal to all of my friends, even over the big name bridal companies!

I do not recommend supporting this business. The lady who let me in was very rude to me when I said that I could not wear a mask. This business follows draconian mask-wearing rules and doesn't care if a person suffocates. As a natural medicine practitioner with 15 years of experience, I observe terror and genocide, a “pandemic” is a false political agenda.

Melissa at blissful bridal made our experience absolutely wonderful! She went above and beyond to help me find my dream dress. Melissa took in what I, as the bride and my group had to say and absolutely nailed it! She was charming, respectful and fun! Chenee was amazing! She helped my daughter find the perfect grad dress. We called last minute for an appointment and they fit us in right away as we came in from out of town. Will definitely recommend and will be back for any future dress needs. Thanks again for making it a wonderful experience

I went to Blissful Bridal to get my grad dress, and had a great experience with Vanessa! She was very helpful, and guided me through my experience very well. She was very personable, and helped me discover ways in which I could target what I truly wanted through alterations, and assisting me in my search. I had such an amazing experience with Sydney. I showed her some pictures of dresses I was leaning towards and she picked several that aligned with my vision and some to try that were out of my realm. She picked so many amazing dresses and saw my vision. She was completely understanding of dresses that didn’t suit my “vibe” and picked out other options. I found my dream dress because of her!

It was an overall great experience. Such a welcoming environment. The stylists encourage you and make you feel so great.

Don't bother. Service was horrendous, store looked dirty and tacky. The lady working (Calinda) was extremely rude. I showed up to my appointment on time only to be made to feel like an intruder. In addition to the aggressively annoyed expression on her face, she chose not to greet me and my mother-in-law with a hello but instead "Why are you here? ". She was so confrontational she actually asked "Why are you here? " twice before we could respond to her unexpected abrasiveness. It was so strange and off-putting. When I let her know we were there for my appointment she asked me when my appointment was and what time it was. (Clearly she was not looking forward to my business). We were made to be so uncomfortable and the product and condition of the store appeared to be at the same level of class as Calinda so we then decided to leave rather than stick it out any longer.

I would highly recommend The Bridal Centre if you would like a beautiful experience, with quality dresses at reasonable prices. The staff there are wonderful and will help you create memories you want to keep during this important milestone of your wedding journey!

Let me start by saying if I could give 6 stars I would!

I went to a larger chain bridal shop and had a horrible experience! I felt so pressured and uncomfortable and ended up letting the shop staff push me into buying a dress off the rack. It was over booked and the staff would talk over my bridesmaids so no one felt comfortable. I felt so awful and had severe buyers remorse. Luckily I was able to return the dress. The entire experience made me dread going to find a dress.

I made an appointment at Blissful Bridal and I was dreading it based on my first experience at another shop. But I must say once I got there I was blown away how good my experience was! The shop itself is so cute, clean, and set up so well! Calinda was so kind, patient, and understanding. She was also so knowledgeable about the dresses, the styles, and how they would fit certain body types. She made my experience so fun! If it's your first dress shopping experience definitely come here first! Calinda will set the bar as to what a bridal shopping experience should be! I ended up finding my perfect dress here and I wish this experience could have been my first. Wedding planning can already be stressful, don't let you bridal shopping be stressful too. I can't recommend Calinda and Blissful Bridal enough!

I bought both my wedding dress and my graduation dress from Blissful Bridal and love them! The owner was amazing and booked us in for a last minute appointment on a Friday night and stayed late after closing. I ended up getting the perfect dress for a very reasonable price. It was a sample so I went home with it the same day. Overall an amazing experience!

I went here to get my bridal dress and it was the best experience! Walking into the shop, it feels welcoming and comfortable, she definitely always has your interests as a bride first. She also knows right away what you’re looking for and is super patient, and isn’t trying to sell you some dress. She definitely wants it to be THE DRESS, which is super comforting if you’re ever nervous. Super sweet woman and can work with any budget, I’m just amazed by her.

Absolutely incredible experience. CaLinda knew what I wanted even better than I did! Even with Covid we were never rushed and she was very accomodating. I also loved her system of using pegs to walk around and pick dresses we were excited about before we got started. 100% would recommend!

Don't bother. Service was horrendous. The lady working was not only zero help to myself or my bridesmaid, she was extremely rude to the people she spoke to on the phone and made us leave 25 min into our 45 min apt to drop a dress off at the seamstress. I sent an email directly to the store and got no response so this is why I'm leaving a review

Super helpful staff, great selection of beautiful dresses! I had such an awesome experience here compared to other bridal stores. They were so welcoming and accommodating, I felt like family!

They were super helpful when I was looking for my grad dress. Listened to what I did and didn't like till I found the one. Reasonable price compared to other places and super nice people and environment. Would defiantly go back for a wedding dress in 15 years!

On the day I purchased my dress, I was very pleased with the service that CaLinda provided. When we put down the full dress amount, CaLinda let me know that my dress would take 4-6 months to come in and assured me that if I had any questions, I could call at any time. She said if I didn’t hear from them at the 6 month mark, to give them a call and they would give me an update on where my dress was. Awesome!

6 months later - I still hadn’t heard anything, so I called the store on Jan 25th, 2020. They have a customer invoice line and I left a voicemail with my information. In the voicemail, it said they would get back to me within 1-2 business days. 5 days passed and I still hadn’t heard back. I left another voicemail on Jan 30,2020. I waited again, and I still hadn’t heard anything. My fiancé called a couple of days later and spoke to one of the receptionists - she was very nice and looked up my details - she said it says it has been shipped and will take 2-3 weeks tops for it to arrive in the store. She told us she would make a note on file and would give us a call on Feb 14th with an update whether the dress was in or not. Nobody returned our call again. On Feb 28th, my fiancé called again and was told by the person answering the phone that she had a client waiting and would give us a call later that day with an update. We never received a call. My fiancé called again on Feb 29th and left a voicemail with the store. After drafting this review, I decided to call at 4: 30pm on Feb 29th myself. I explained that I have contacted the store multiple times and still haven’t had a proper update on my dress and I was told my dress had just shipped, which was the same information I received before, so I asked if I had been given false information… She said she was going to check the back room as some orders just arrived and she would phone me back in 5 minutes. The store had since closed and I still had no call back. I left a voicemail again saying that someone needs to call me tomorrow morning with an update, or I will be taking this to the Calgary Wedding Buy and Sell page as well as reviews. They called me that Sunday morning with an update that they have contacted the distributor in Montreal. I get an update that Monday that my dress is shipped and it will arrive by that Friday and they called then to schedule an appointment for Sunday. I went last week and everything seems to be organized. The only thing they offered besides apologies were 30% off accessories, even though I had already purchased two hair pins. I did get some earrings, but I don’t feel like that corrected their errors. AND THEN I double checked the bag when we got to the house we were staying at in Calgary and I’m missing a hair pin. I called the store right away and told them I would not be coming back into the store, and they would need to ship it to me in Lethbridge.

I feel very let down as a customer and very frustrated with my experience. The fact that I have my whole dress paid for and was not able to get answers about where my dress was, is frustrating. It is frustrating when you tell your customers to call anytime with questions and then you repeatedly do not get back to the customer; when you say that my dress will easily be in to the store in 4-6 months, and no answers are provided at month 8; when you say you will return your voicemail in 1-2 business days and don’t; when you call repeatedly and multiple calls are not returned; when you finally talk to someone and they don’t update you when they said they would; and lastly, when you go to the store and they make another mistake.

TL: DR I hope Blissful Bridal takes this information and uses it to better their practices, because I don’t want my experience to be repeated with any other customer that walks through Blissful Bridal’s door. Communication with customers is key to having customers feel satisfied, that is something that they need to work on. Overall, my experience has not been blissful.

Unfortunately I did not have a good experience here, I was told this was the place to go and when I went I felt like I was an inconvenience to them, my consultant was really nice but then when I would say no or I didn’t like it I could feel some tension and felt like she was getting annoyed, and then she would be like “it’s okay that’s what this is for” and then I wouldn’t like something and again.tension/annoyed, there was a time where she snapped and made a comment as well and that was very unsettling for me, so we left. I did not feel comfortable in the slightest bit after the first 20 mins and also felt very pressured I was unsure of what I wanted but that’s the whole point of trying on dresses to figure out what you want!

Thank you to the staff at Blissful Bridal! Went for a Grad dress for my granddaughter and from the moment we walked in the attention they gave to her was amazing. She told them what she was looking for and they found the perfect gown and in the exact color she wanted.this was without a doubt the best shopping experience I have had. Staff were so knowled gable, helpful and attentive and their goal was to make sure the experience was pleasant and satisfying. Thank you!

Giving this place even 1 star is generous. The lady that works there is extremely rude and unprofessional. Always saying snarky and sassy comments for no reason. The selection is very limited and the store is not well kept at all. All of the dresses are extremely expensive for their poor quality, and you can find way better dresses in other stores. Heard from a friend of mine that the lady was extremely rude to her, thought she was exaggerating a bit, but she definitely was not. People like her should not work in customer service!

Amazing customer service! I called an hour before I had hoped to show up to make an appointment and they accommodated me. I was trying on a bridesmaid dress fairly last minute and she was quick and efficient in getting the dress, my size, and everything ordered in time for the wedding. I was in and out very quickly with everything I needed! Despite it being rather busy, I felt I was taken care of with no issues! Great staff!

I was so scared to shop for a dress but it was such a pleasant experience here. We had the whole store to ourselves and I ended up choosing the second dress I tried on.

I ordered my wedding dress here and it was so beautiful. It did take a bit longer then expected by a full month but I still had time to have altered. The staff was helpful and friendly!

Disappointing experience. I went in with a budget of $1500, knowing that was low but completely doable. I was called a "budget bride" by my consultant, and then she pulled a dress for me that I absolutely fell in love with that was almost $2200. I had assumed she would respect my budget so I didn't see the tag until I had the dress on. Gorgeous dresses, but not worth it for the experience.

Went in for a walk in and was rudely greeted by the lady at the front desk. She had no one in the store the other group of people she was helping had just left. She proceeded to tell us she was closing the store shortly so she could leave. Even though it was the middle of the day, after lunch. She refused to even let us enter the dress area. Even though i had told her i wasn't looking to try anything on. I just wanted to get an idea as to what i was looking for. She was rude and unprofessional. I will not be spending my money at a place that cannot treat their customers with kindness and respect.

Had the best experience! They had a great selection and my consultant, Melissa, was so passionate to find 'THE' dress for me. They even let me come back the next day to it on.

I cannot recommend Blissful Bridal enough! I had the most amazing time, I wish I could dress shop every day. I thought every single dress I tried on was beautiful and very well made. Chenee was SO sweet and funny and made me feel very comfortable. I was torn between 2 dresses and she was so patient, helping me change between the two countless times and letting me come back the next morning to do it again. The rest of the ladies working were also very helpful, giving me advice When I picked my dress they came to congratulate me. I had the best time, they made me feel so special and I cannot wait for my wedding.

We had gone into blissful bridal to look for some grad dresses "casual" shopping to see what styles we liked. The moment we had walked into the store we had already been discriminated because we were some teens and had no appointment even though there was no one in the store. Throughout the fittings and looking for dresses we had been able to over hear the staff talking about us because they were calling us a waste of time as we probably weren't going to be buying a dress that day. They also had continuously tried to get us to buy a dress as we weren't loving the dresses we had chosen completely and didn't really like the dresses that they kept picking for us even though we had been ready to go. At the end me and my friend had both found a dress that we definitely both loved but I think we have seen the dress at David's Bridal so we will probably going there next time.

Jaramie was so incredibly helpful. He didn’t pull any dresses that weren’t going work for my wedding date/style. He was very informative, willing to work with my budget and style, and was never pushy. He even encouraged me to take time to think about it. 10/10 would recommend this experience. Love my dress.

Great selection of dresses. I thought I would have to have several appointments at several locations to find my dream dress, but I found it here! (Only my second location) Not only was it almost a perfect fit, but it’s going to fit the theme of our wedding beautifully and has every feature I wanted (including pockets!) AND it was on sale. Just to make things even better. Chenee was amazing to work with and let me have enough space and time to find dresses to try on and let me spend some time in the dress I ended up choosing to make sure it was just right. She talked me through all my questions and asked great questions about any reservations I had. She went over and above and let me play with bridesmaids dresses to get an overall picture of my palette and where to focus on next. The ladies here are amazing. Highly recommend. Plus there’s mirrors all over so you can see every angle of your dress. I went to my appointment alone and the ladies were very understanding of me being on and off the phone with my mom, which was also really helpful. I wasn’t once rushed or pressured. Even when it came down to leaving the deposit, I was given all the space I needed to double check finances as I hadn’t been planning on buying a dress today lol

Booked an appointment for two weeks in advance and two days before the appointment they email me saying they changed my appointment time. Little bit inconvenient when people were coming from out of town for this appointment to try on bridesmaids dresses. Not to mention makes it seem like a booked appointment is not important to this company.
