Healthy plants throughout the center, even at the end of the season.

My husband and I have stopped at Bluegrass 3 times in the past 2 weeks. We had a great experience with all the staff, but "Wanda" was exceptional! I can't say enough great things about her. She was SO helpful, SO friendly, and VERY knowledgeable! She helped us pick the perfect trees and shrubs for our yard! If you stop at blue grass.ask for Wanda! Thanks a ton, we will definitely be returning for future needs!

They always have what I'm looking for, and a huge selection of stuff I'm not looking for but upon seeing it, have to have it.

This is one of the best plant stores i have been in its amazing so many different plants and thay have some great sales great staff

A quick in and out experience! Got my gravel, loaded me up in a jiffy and gone! I was however quite confused by the lack of directional signage of where to enter and exit or even where to pay! Clearly blocked or unrestricted by vast assortment of gardening supplies and greeneries.

Some of the most beautiful sod I've ever seen before and cheaper than home depot! I'll be shopping there for any of jj's small engine repair and lawncares needs from now on!

This place hires the most knowledgeable and helpful staff! Shout out to Jim, he is a super star! He made easy for me pick out plants for my bare garden. He seem to have lots of experience and even gives me an answer when I text him for some gardening questions!

Exemplary customer service, gorgeous clean centre and abundant inventory! All staff are always well versed on the different products and have great suggestions.

I'm not sure if they have maps, or just need them. Lots of selection and friendly staff. Isles are cramped. But they allow dogs. ‍?

This is the best greenhouse around Red Deer I find. The prices are incredible, the staff is very helpful and pleasant and it's just a great enviornment to be a crazy plant lady in. They also have a great membership program if you spend alot there.

Absolutely gorgeous greenhouse with a huge variety of beautiful plants, year-round. Large Christmas displays and seasonal markets are fun as well. Prices are a bit high, but it is my favorite greenhouse to go to.

We enjoyed our visit and looking at the vast selections of plants but found it difficult to shop because prices were not posted and were inaccurately place. We were surprised and disappointed to find that none of the items we purchased were the prices that they were marked as on the shelves. Almost everything was over priced. Aside from the pricing issues, the staff were helpful.

They have a little “petting zoo”… if you can call it that. The lambs kept coughing, baby geese had no shelter in the literal snow and rain that was happening while I was shopping. The chicks also have no shelter from the snow… all the cages are too small and the “zoo” is right beside the playground so the children can go pester them with no supervision. Everyone was out of water, besides the lambs who’s water container was green. Lost me as a customer until they are properly taken care of…

Bluegrass is my go-to greenhouse for all planty things! The staff are very kind & their selection is lovely! Even if I go in looking for something specific, I usually leave with a cart fullLove Bluegrass so much!

Absolutely love this place! They have amazing plants and they’re well taken care of. The staff are very nice and always able to help. I always bring friends here to shop for the best house plants! Can’t recommend it enough!

I was just wanting my Daily dose of plants, and I witnessed younger employees getting yelled at by what seemed like a manager. Young employee left crying. This was very upsetting to see because it was done in a public place, and no employee should be treated this way, especially infront of buying customers. (Not saying they should do it behind closed doors either)
The greenhouse looks amazing. The employees taking care of the retail area are doing an amazing job. Sad to see these young adults being put down for their hard work.
I hope this review can show the owners what is going on inside the greenhouse when they are not around. As it is unacceptable to yell at employees in such a high volume.

The sod there is garbage. They wouldn't replaced it after I spent a couple years trying to get it looking better. The guy wouldn't even let me speak to his boss. What a joke! Get it from a building center where they don't use this place and than you deal with them instead if its garbage.

I went to get flowers for my daughter today from a list she gave me. Your great florist Shannon assisted me all the way through. I am so grateful for her knowledge and kindness! Words cannot express my gratitude to her!

A vast carpet of greenery in seemingly endless rows and that's just inside the greenhouse. Out side is more corridors surrounded in plants and pottery. If want to spend a $1000 or $5 on one plant. This is your place.

Flowers can be pretty pricey but they are a premium service compared to a grocery store.

Bluegrass is one stop I make when in Red deer just for a little walk thru!
The staff is extremely friendly and knowledgeable!
Recently the greenhouse was Exploding with plants tropical and herbs!
It’s always clean and organized.
The greenhouse location is easy to access in and out and just off the highway.
There is a public washroom just in case

I cannot tell you how much I love this place!
From free poinsettias to hand out to friends and family, at Christmas to having the most knowledgeable and, friendly staff ~ Blue Grass is one of my very favourite local businesses to shop at!
Wanda, especially, is just so kind and, helpful. She goes above and beyond, every single time I go in and, she is working. She is quick to help and, will take the time with you, no matter how busy, to ensure that you understand exactly how to care for your plants. That's highly appreciated, considering I am such a novice. She's wonderful, as are all the staff there.

Have been to this nursery many times.great place. Unfortunately last weekend (Sunday March 21) there was a lady employee (some kind of manager) walking around talking to people with no mask on. Turned us right off. At one point she had a Macdonalds coffee in her hand, but not all the time. There was no mask around her chin or wrist. So that's not an excuse. Any person who walks in the store with a coffee in hand does not have to wear a mask? Store was busy. She was the only person maskless. Yes there were other employees with the mask down around their lips, not over their nose. Very disappointing with all that is going on.

Great place to work. If you enjoy the atmosphere of greenery this is the place to be. Highly recommended

Excellent selection, attractively laid out (5 stars).
High prices - I can often find many same products from other local growers for nearly half the price (3 stars).

The sod was good but I was charged $260 more than quoted and they weren’t willing to honour the quote I was given. Be sure to get everything in writing.

I have spent the last three weeks landscaping and installing sod in my yard. Whether I was picking up or having materials delivered the staff at Blue Grass has been a joy to work with.

This place is incredible! Huge selection of plants, feel like I'm in a jungle, you name it, they've got it.

The owner has gone above and beyond after I initially had some complaints about the customer service I received, will definitely go back to then for more landscaping needs in the future

Not Happy - I used Bluegrass for a long time for my landscaping business, and used them again today. We just finished sodding a yard and we’re pressured into buying more sod. And we had 20 rolls left, never taken off the pallet, and bought the same day. Wouldn’t even refund us. AND they put the left over sod back in the sales rack. TALK ABOUT DOUBLE DIPPING BLUEGRASS!
Taking out business else where for now on!

I would come here again for my flowers since they have so many different flower types to choose from just make sure to come at the right time before everything is picked over or wait until they restock and the rhubarb I got there is still growing and not killed from when it hails but my strawberries died oh well they didn't have a good time in the car and kinda fell and smashed against eachother whoops.
