The nails techs at this business are seriously the best in the city. Their prices are too low for the quality of work they do *in my opinion. Never lift, thin, shape is always perfect, and they always book me in so quickly. They have never ever disappointed me.

We had a perfect Saturday morning getting pedicures:) my two daughter in laws, one of my granddaughters and I all had really great pedicures. My granddaughter was treated like the Princess she is:)

Absolutely love my nails. First time here and I’m glad I didn’t go anywhere else no place has been able to give me exactly what I want and also be able to make it look good except here! Super impressed and will be back!

I’ve been going to Jimmy and he never disappoints! He takes his time but is still so quick! I love my nails every time.he’s always been able to do whatever image i show, and i’m always so satisfied with my nails! I would definitely recommend Bluesky!

Sally is amazing! I have been seeing Sally for awhile now, she is always so sweet to talk with & she always does an excellent job. I know that she takes her time on each finger perfecting everything. I have never once had a bad experience with her or Blue Sky Nails!

I am very picky when I get my nails done and my co-worker recommended I go to blue sky nails. This was my first time there and it was a great experience! I came in with two broken nails and Sally was so gentle and making sure it wasn’t painful. I love that Sally took her time and perfected the shape of my nails and the detail of the design! I’m very happy with them and definitely will be going back!

I have personally been seeing the owner (Jimmy) of Blue Sky Nails for around 7-8 years. I have never once had a bad experience; between pedicures and manicures and acrylic nails it has always been flawless and exceptional. Even recently when one of my gems fell off my acrylic nails right before my vacation, Jimmy went above and beyond (as usual) and drove some glue and extra gems to my doorstep when i couldn’t make it back to the salon as I wasn’t in the city. Cannot say enough good things about Blue Sky Nails, I will never go anywhere else! You will not be disappointed!

First time coming here! Experience here was amazing great customer service and I got helped right away and my nails came out beautifully. Twas unexpectedly also my engagement nails

I originally wrote a great review here but the last time changed my mind:
• I went with a friend and her nail tech continuously told her that her nails were ugly
• They would constantly point at my nails and laugh and talk to one another in Vietnamese seemingly about them (I never jump to conclusions about this kind of thing but it was fairly obvious)
• I ended up with two different cuts from the drill
• Each of the three or four nail techs used the drill in my nails which left them very weak (it didn’t seem like they communicated that the drill had already been used)
• it’s only been a week but my shellac has already chipped because of my flimsy nails from the drill
• they shaped half my nails one way and half another (almond and sort of rounded?)
• it took SO LONG to get my nails done so I had my friend and sister go wait for me at Starbucks (one person started their nails probably half and hour after me and even with all the mail techs working on mine I got out long after her)

From other reviews it seems like plenty of people have had similar experiences and I would not recommend coming here

The best place to get my nails done! They’re always so gorgeous, and for the price it’s amazing! I always walk out so happy flaunting my nails to everyone. I cannot say enough nice things about them, especialy Jimmy who is so fun and fast, in no time he turns my ugly nails into perfect nails. They are also very adaptable and they always find a time for me even on the short notice.

I started coming here probably 6 months ago now and i haven’t been anywhere else since. It had been incredibly hard to find a nail tech who shapes my nails exactly how i want and now knows the length and color’s i enjoy most. The whole environment in Bluesky is incredible and friendly, I struggle with socializing and i feel beyond comfortable there. Jimmy is the best nail tech I have ever had, he is an artist and the only place in Edmonton I will continue to go to. It’s beyond me how he does such an amazing job each and every single time and me over the moon feeling 100% happy and satisfied. Absolutely love getting my nails done now because they’re exactly how I envisioned them down to the last detail.

Thuy is the best ever! I love coming to see her for my pedicures. She does a fantastic job and is super kind and caring. She also does the most beautiful French pedicure I’ve ever had. Thank you Thuy!

I’ve been getting my nails done with them for about 3-4 months now and I had them done by 4 different people. The last two times I got lucky that it was with Thuy. She is very nice and her work is impeccable. She never rushes, she takes her time to make sure the nails are perfect. From now on, I will always ask to book with her.

Very talented nail technicians. All of them produce the highest quality nails I've seen. The staff are flexible and prices are very competitive. Jimmy is my favorite but I would trust anyone at this business.

Ever since Yenni left & the new owners took over, this place has gone downhill majorly. The owner (Jimmy) is very disrespectful to his customers. If your nails are not done properly & you go in to have them fixed, they will charge you to redo them despite the fact they are the professionals and should be doing them properly from the get-go. Yenni moved to Royal Nail Spa & it is worth the drive to go see her as she treats her customers with respect and ensures 100% customer satisfaction! I have worked in the customer service industry for many years, and blue sky nails has been myself & three of my friends go to nail place for the last 5 years, so to be treated so poorly and talked to the way Jimmy did was enough of a reason for all of us to boycott blue sky nails so long as they continue to treat their customers with such disrespect. It is one thing to have a bad day & be short with someone once, but this is the 4th poor experience we have had and it will certainly be the last.

If you’re searching for natural-looking acrylic nails, you need to ask for Sally. I’ve been going to her for years and she is hands down the most talented nail technician I’ve ever had. She pays attention to the small details and knows exactly how to shape my nails to flatter my hands. I’m obsessed with her and I think she deserves to be booked and busy!

First of all wasn't I planning on writing a review but I really had to. I'll start off with the staff absolutely amazing staff such great hospitality and very kind. I got my hands and feet done and I love love the technique that is being use very gentel and also very clean with their work. Everyone has been complementing my nails and asking me where I've been getting them done and of course i tell them. 10/10 recommend and I truly can't wait to come back in for a refill?

Love this place! I’ve been seeing Jimmy for years now and I swear nobody does my nails better! His staff are friendly and the atmosphere is welcoming and relaxing. If I could give 10 stars, I would!

When I go to BlueSky, they always take amazing care of me. I love the variety of Color’s, technique, and accessories they have to provide. Jimmy is my technician and I love seeing him share his skills with his coworkers.

I’ve been going here for a few months now and Jimmy does an absolutely amazing job, I love my nails every time. He always does his best to get everybody in, even if he goes back and forth between clients (and I’ve experienced it) and yet still does a great job. Rest of the staff is polite and friendly too. AMAZING, AMAZING, AMAZING! I’ve gone here a few times and have never been disappointed. My Acrylics are always strong and long lasting (as well as beautiful every time.) They seem to always fit me in to get my nails done! The environment is always so nice to come into.

Staff are friendly and they always do a great job on my nails. They listen to what you want and make you feel welcome. My go to place for mani/pedi.

Every time I go, without exception, I get absolute amazing service. This guy I swear is the best I never got my nails done before my wedding and now cant see my nails without them. The amount of complements I get from every set he created is insane ️‍ I never have a clear idea of what i want when I go in but he knows exactly how to give me the best ideas. Never disappointed and always fantastic prices.

I have been coming to this nail salon for over 3 years now. Never have I been this disappointed before. Since their management changed, this is the first time I came in their salon, the owner guy is super rude I came back to tell them after 2 days my shellac came off he embarrassed me in front of the whole salon saying the girl who did your nails is not here so you come back later. Instead of taking responsibility he behaved like I’m bothering him. He’s telling me like no big deal and I’m here spending my hard worked money on pedicure don’t you tell me it’s no big deal. I went back today to get it fixed he straight up told me he can’t do it so I asked him you have to take responsiblity of fixing it so he did finally. He didn’t once apologize he was unbelievably rude. I’m sad now I have to find a new salon for nails, I have been coming here for 3 years.

If I could recommend one place it would be Blue Sky Nails. Jimmy the owner was so accommodating and made me feel so welcome. He recreated my nails exactly the way I asked him to. And if you need a good massage with your pedicure, then you’ll be more than satisfied here. Overall, such a fantastic experience. I’ll definitely be back.

Only nail salon in edmonton I go to! The owner is so nice and really does his best to make sure you leave with nails you love! And the staff is so kind and great prices too!

Me and my sister got acrylic nails done here and they turned out great and exactly like the inspo pictures. Prices were also decent. Highly recommend this nail salon.

Jimmy did a refill for my acrylics and they turned out really well, exactly like the picture. I’m extremely happy with them!

Jimmy is the best! I have been seeing him for years so naturally I followed him to the new salon he’s running.

He knows how I like my nails done and how strong they need to be for my lifestyle that isn’t very tender on nails. Rarely do they ever lift or break!

I had Jimmy do my grad nails and I absolutely loved them, the salon is clean and all the staff are very nice and and accommodating. I highly recommend this salon!

Best pedicures in town! My mom and I just got a pedicure from Blue Sky and what an amazing experience. Very clean, great color selection and extremely nice people! Highly recommend.

My mother came in on May 28 for a manicure/pedicure and was rudely greeted by a male staff member. He spoke very rudely about her appearance in Vietnamese to the other staff members, not knowing she was Vietnamese herself.

Some of the things said were as follows:
"Her feet are disgusting"
"She has too much dead skin on her feet - this is going to take forever"

They made several other rude comments in front of her and she felt humiliated throughout the experience. The only reason she stayed is because she needed the service for a special event the following day. Is this how you treat all of your paying customers? You should be ashamed.

The unprofessionalism of this establishment is will ensure that we will never come back again nor recommend this place to our friends and family.
