Very clean, staff is fantastic and it’s one of the best selections for vegan foods especially plant based meat alternatives and the produce is always top notch.
23 June 2023 3:48
More expensive than standard grocery stores but worth it. Sadly, this time I bought a rosted chicken and was still raw. The smell was neither the best. Such a surprise because they usually have good rosted chicken, sadly this time awful experience.

This is one of my favorite places in all of Edmonton! Amazing selection of food and any other things. Love love love
28 April 2023 7:03
They offer parking and have a great selection of organic and high quality products brands and fresh produce. Not the cheapest but worth it especially for those with special dietary needs like vegetarian or gluten free. Also in a cool part of the city and very unique to Edmonton as organic specialty grocers are rare.
29 March 2023 16:29
FODMAP friendly shop with fresh stuff, organic dairy and spelt sourdough bread from Breadland bakery. There is prepared sandwiches and meals for just about everyone. Competitive prices on regular items found in big box stores like Cliff bars.
21 February 2023 12:09
One of my favourite grocery stores to shop in. It's clean and stocked with fresh and good looking produce.
20 January 2023 3:22
We have loved this store for years, BUT, now a lot of their packaging and plastic bags reek of some kind of perfume. My wife is very chemically sensitive, and this is not a good thing, as we have had to return several containers/bags now because of this. It's hard to understand a wonderful organic store that is selling products with an obvious chemical ingredient in their containers and bags. If we buy a bag of apples, or a container of organic blueberries at a local grocery store, we never have this problem. Please rectify this, Blush Laine!
13 January 2023 23:18
The meat selection is awesome. Very quality. Very yum. However, the staff. Wow. Soooo moody. Is asking for help the new misgendering?

Review your receipt when shopping at Blush Lane. Mistakes are made on a regular basis. Today's experience was puzzling to say the least. I noticed that they charged me almost $6.00 for a small sized garlic (I usually pay just about $ 2.50 for garlic) so I told the cashier I didn't want it anymore. I also noticed other produce marked up higher at the till than I am used to seeing. The price per pound was correct on the screen but the actual price of the product was not. The cashier didn't see any issue but I asked her to weigh it again. It suddenly cost $2.43 instead of $5.61. I asked her to weigh everything else I bought.ginger, yams, sweet potatoes, mushrooms, etc.and it turns out that everything had been marked up by about 80% to 120%. The price of everything was suddenly reduced by half. I asked why this happened and the cashier said that she had to "reset the scale" and that maybe there was a pen or something on the scale (there wasn't any pen that I could see lying around). What? Really?
How many people are experiencing this on a regular basis?

Our Small Family Business provided over $5200 in Flower Bouquets for Blush Lane Edmonton to resell…. Which they did. They kept all the profits and didn’t pay us for the flowers. I suggested that if they didn’t have the money that I would take grocery credit instead, so I at least could be somehow compensated…. Nope, not willing to do that either. It was shocking and sad that they did this to us, and it really hurt us both financially and emotionally (the trust level from one business to another).

Organic and diet sensitive foods are easily obtained and we'll displayed. My fave is the bakery counter where the items are so fresh. How about getting some cream topped yogurt that is an excellent snack for breakfast with your cereal or fruits. That have a lot of properly raised animal products.
27 May 2022 9:44
Very clean grocery store with a nice selection. Awesome location for locals. Only giving it four stars as their price point is high compared to save on and planet organic

I have issues with histamine intolerance that cause me to have dietary restrictions. Most of the items I need to cook I only found on Amazon for exorbitant prices. I took a chance and went to Blush to see if they had anything.this is now my grocery store of choice! Mostly everything I need is at a fair price and they do tend to have items on sale regularly. I never see mold on food like I do at commercial chains and the clerks are chatty and kind! If I had one complaint it would be the aisles are a little narrow, but given it's location and store space, it can't be helped! Ignore the bad reviews, they're by people throwing temper tantrums when we had the mask mandate and being told a firm "no". Good riddance to them I say! I don't want that kind of person around my chronically ill self while I'm shopping. I, a disabled woman will wear a mask to ensure that all the wonderful folks at Blush will stay safe, irregardless if I am exempted during restrictions. If you don't mind the price and are in need of specific ingredients or meals for dietary needs, Blush ia the place to shop!
28 April 2022 9:21
I won't shop at this store any longer because they wouldn't let me into the store when I was following the face coverings bylaw and had a plastic shield on because I have a mask exemption. The security guard and staff were rude to me and I left crying because I was ostracized in front of the other patrons. My friends have also stopped shopping here because of how I was treated.
19 April 2022 13:34
Was in the Health and Beauty Department yesterday and Lilliana was super kind, helpful and resourceful. Thanks!
08 April 2022 8:26
Beautiful, clean store with lots of organic, vegan, sustainable, and local options. They are definitely pricey though but it's to be expected.
08 April 2022 4:33
Food here is pricey but it’s always delicious. I would love to see more kefir and kombucha on tap. Used to love the taste test station.
04 April 2022 5:47
I love shopping at Blush Lane. Their produce is top-notch, their pricing is competitive, and they have lots of gluten free goodies for my celiac son. Plus, they always manage to find the best coffee creamers.:)
27 March 2022 8:25
The best selection of local and organic products in Edmonton with fantastic staff! I shop here every.single.week and I'm SO thankful for their existence. I only wish they were closer to me, but I will absolutely drive across the city every week to get my groceries from here.
22 March 2022 8:48
I love Sunworks Farm products! Such high quality meat and eggs. I’m happy I can come here weekly to purchase their products. It’s really the only reason why I go to Blush Lane! But Blush Lane does have some amazing products too!
16 March 2022 5:40
I love organic foods. I was shopping at Blush Market yesterday after going for a rapid test immediately before that. In Blush I kept pulling my mask down to see things better, because I know I’m negative and because I feel that masks are humiliating. There was security there monitoring if people were wearing masks. She came over to me and said “Miss, you need to wear your mask at all times. ” I will be shopping someone else now. Where is our freedom of rights? I was negative. If they are trying to protect me from others, I am very able to make that decision myself.
11 March 2022 16:23
Feels like everyone hates their jobs here aside from the lady in the health food section sometimes.
22 February 2022 18:05
I waited until I was behind the plexi glass and still stepped back to 6 ft before I pulled my mask an inch from my face for my inhalation to ease the lightheadedness and heart palp I get while wearing masks too long and was told very disapproving that rhere is a city wide mandate and won't be served with it off.literally. Pulled it off to be able to spend the next 2 mins paying for my groceries because of my asthma and qas domiciled I'll never go back. The lack of compassion for people with different issues is crazy.
13 January 2022 0:11
Love this place! Carries an excellent variety of products catering to quite a number of dietary preferences and needs. The health & body section is surprisingly robust given the limited floor space. Staff is always helpful. Only wish the location was bigger so they could carry even more products.
12 January 2022 19:41
I only shop here for my meat. Has some good deals sometimes on produce. Never had an issue. Bring your credit card though, your bill could end up being the cost of Costco when you go if you know what I mean.
10 January 2022 23:40
This Organic Market is located on Whyte’s Ave. They carry fresh produce, meat, milk, honey, farm eggs, etc. You have a choice of parking on the street or the underground parkade. You do have to know what your buying because some items can be higher than the competition. Overall you can find what you need, with some savings. Bring your own bag, they will knock 5 cents off the bill.
04 January 2022 23:45
I will no longer be a patron at your store. I was asked to replace my linen/mesh face barrier and don a disposable “mask. ”

Although I’m medically except (w/ authentic documentation on my person), I wore my sanctioned face barrier (as per Bylaw 19408) out of respect for fellow patrons; moreover, I just had dental work above moments ago, and harbouring a face barrier thereafter was unacceptable and not advised by my DDS.

I arrived at your location to grab some soft and cool foods to ease the pain and offer comfort.

What I experienced today by your staff is detestable and is an aberration from current COE and CMOH mandates.

Before your staff start “policing”, they should be formally empowered and equipped with how to address peoples and know what they are enforcing.

Your company should be blushing with embarrassment and shame for your corporate policies.

The pleasantries I received in asking to comply is overshadowed by Blush Lanes’ ill adopted shopping protocol. Your staff should have quietly inquired rather than jump straight into the law and been so “legal” in their deportment.

Your customer service and experience is found wanting.

Goodbye!

I almost never give bad reviews to anyone knowing that it is very difficult times for people but I felt very disrespected today. Went to this market because I wanted to support the local organic business in my neighbourhood. I asked one of the girls working on the floor for directions to an Item I was looking for. The girl looked at me rolled her eyes and said "down there somewhere". I would not take it personal but this is a issue, last week I came in and seen staff talking very rude manner to another customer about wearing her mask under her nose, almost yelling across the room. Very rude and all it could have taken was a friendly reminder for the lady to wear her mask appropriatley. I will not return.
12 November 2021 21:56
It is very sad that this business doesn't honour health exemptions. My husband and I have spent thousands of dollars in the last 7 years and now we decided not to support you guys anymore. Fortunately, there are other options to get food more affordable, clean sources and with better human rights treatment to loyal customers. BTW, face masks deteriorate our lungs, they don't protect us, as well as hand sanitizer- alcohol base, this destroys our skin and gut microbiome. Do your research and stand up for your health and human rights.
05 September 2021 13:44
Had a great experience here. They have a really lovely selection of organic Meats among other things. I highly recommend checking it out.
24 July 2021 13:10
Fresh and high quality. Clean and friendly, prices are higher however you will not be disappointed for organic products.
02 July 2021 15:11
I shopped at Blush Lane in Calgary all the time, now I live in Edmonton and shopped at this store, the selection is very poor and the prices are 2-6 dollars higher for the same product than any other store, St. Albert has a great health food store with good prices so I will be going to St. Albert to shop.
01 July 2021 0:34
Really overpriced organic grocer. Not worth it at all and you are better to off visiting the Old Strathcona farmer's market or similar markets for better quality at similar prices.
30 June 2021 8:30
We moved from Toronto a few months ago and were excited to find this place. Immediately after we walked in, we were rudely asked what exactly we were looking for. I told the (older lady with very short gray hair) employee what we needed. They didn't have it. It seems no where in Edmonton does.anyways. We decided to look around and see what else the store offered. We were followed. Not just followed, but the employee stood extremely close watching our every move.
I kindly said "thanks for your time" thinking maybe she might still think we needed her assistance. Just maybe. But no. She literally followed us all over the store spying behind shelves. She even got frazzled when she realized I'd caught her. I didn't buy anything and don't plan to in the future.

Our family can no longer in good conscience support a business that openly discriminates against medically vulnerable children, after years of very satisfied patronage, including tens of thousands of dollars spent at Spud.ca + Blush Lane Organic Market. It is reprehensible that a business that promotes "health" would completely deny service or reasonable accommodation (a violation of the Alberta Human Rights Act) to a masked pregnant woman and a 4-year-old child. Business ethics matter, and it's extremely disappointing that this company chooses to go against WHO and UNICEF recommendations which specifically state "children aged 5 and under should not be required to wear masks. This advice is based on the safety and overall interest of the child. " I'm not mad - I'm simply saddened at how low our society has gone that this company enforces discriminatory and dangerous policies that promote harm against children.
24 June 2021 15:06
Longtime regular customer here: I cannot wear a mask for psychological reasons. I also currently do not have a credit card due to current financial crisis. I asked a staff member if I could give them CASH to purchase a single item from their health department for me. The manager told me that they could not do this. They would rather lose out on a sale and potentially harm their relationship with long term customers than to help out with the purchase of one item. I just don't see the logic here.
28 May 2021 20:44
My opinion is biased because I work here. But I also shop here and I love it. The produce is always on point, it’s fresh and beautiful. Health and beauty has lots of different products, I always pick up something different to try out and the staff knows their stuff. Sunworks Meat, there’s just no comparison, straight from the farm, super fresh, organic, free range, I could go on. This grocery store is my go to for everything.
07 March 2021 23:52
I am dissapoined in myself for not coming in here more. Blush Lane has many top notch itoms at prices that are surprisingly reasonable for such high quality food. Great bread, nice selection of produce and a small but well stocked meat section.
18 February 2021 13:39
Once again discriminated and dehumanized for my disability at Blush Lane. This is NOT a guaranteed safe space for indigenous peoples or anyone with disabilities - although they claim to be so. What happened to humanity, compassion and kindness?
26 January 2021 17:08
My favorite Edmonton grocery. Nothing beats the produce quality and selection. I find they stock unusual pantry items I can't get anywhere else. I always find some wonderful new little treasure each shopping trip.
20 January 2021 0:17
Incredible selection of Organic Products. Staff is very knowledgeable and willing helpful. Great place to go for all of your Organic products.
02 January 2021 22:26
I was treated with complete disregard and discrimination due to a disability. I do not reccomend shopping here.
31 December 2020 17:56
My biggest issue is cashiers WILL GO AND DO SOMETHING ELSE WHEN THERE IS A HUGE LINE. THAT IS GROCERY STORE CUSTOMER SERVICE 101
14 December 2020 5:01
This place is packed with lots of alternative options and fun new things to try decent location if you work close by like I do just to pick up stuff easy with underground parking.
07 December 2020 19:28
Finally managed to track down delicata squash at this fine establishment. Will definitely be back
05 December 2020 20:25
The last time I went there, I'm assuming its the store owner was following me around the store because I made eye contact with him so he thought I was a shoplifter. He followed me around pushing a shopping cart pretending to be a shopper until I made it to the cashier and had a smile on his face like he did a job well done he got me to pay for my things. I used to buy Satsuma oranges from there and it would cost me 30 bucks a bag but ever since this happened I will never go back.
24 November 2020 10:23
Staff always nice. A lot of choices for everyone, including vegetarian and vegan. Awesome selection of vegetables and fruits. A must have for anyone who wants to buy some organic product
21 November 2020 12:08
Though prices are typically high, a great place to find natural and organic foods as well as a good selection of personal health items.
22 October 2020 4:09
Awesome place. Lots of organic, vegetarian, vegan, gluten free and happy animal products. They actually pay attention to COVID guidelines, which is a great thing to see, although it does mean you may have to line up. They frequently have great sales on produce. I got organic avocados for 99 cents.
09 October 2020 5:03
They have a person at the front making sure too many people don't go in at one time. A bit pricey but expected as it's an organic store. I went there specifically two bears coffee, they were sold out - sadness filled my soul. So I filled my hole, my mouth hole with organic treats to numb the pain.
24 September 2020 22:50
So much for shop local and organic.bought pumpkin seeds-that can be easily produced locally if not in Canada-opened and was going to eat some and there it was: MADE IN CHINA. Good job Blush Lane, supporting a communist dictatorship that engages in land grabs, torture, spying, stealing, and not to mention the major human rights abuses. Disgusting. Never going here again. Good thing it was a free gift card I used.
24 September 2020 3:09
Quality is there but very pricey.
Interesting selection of cheeses and bread.
Not easy to find parking.
17 September 2020 18:00
I've only been a handful of times, but everytime I've visited Blush, it's been a great experience! The market is well decorated, the set up is intuitive and the atmosphere is welcoming/friendly. There is wide variety of local goods and produce and the staff are extremely helpful.
29 May 2020 15:45
I love Blush- the produce is stellar and while I find the bread particularly expensive, much of the other products are relatively reasonable for the quality.

I went in to shop earlier this week and was greeted by a person who explained the COVID-19 regulations in detail, provided hand sanitizer and a cleaning solution to sterilize the carts and baskets. I was also requested to practice good social distancing and stay 2m apart from others. This was good to see, along with the sneeze guards.

Yet, the management of patrons has serious room for improvement.

Without arrows directing the flow of traffic, I was constantly trying to dodge people to ensure physical distancing.

Several times, I entered an empty aisle looking for a specific product, several other patrons who entered after me would stand much too close rather than going to another aisle or just waiting for me to finish. I had to ask several people to step back until I was finished. They did not comply.

The shopping carts along the check-out aisle also prevents people who are paying to properly observe physical distancing as when they leave with their bags and have to walk (within a foot or two) of other patrons who are paying. They don't really have a choice to go around.

I don't know if some aisles need to be dismantled to provide more walking space, or what, but I hope Blush is seriously working on improving things. No Frills and Safeway (admittedly bigger companies) have very good patron-management and could offer models to follow.
16 May 2020 23:20
Great place to get healthy produce. On the pricier side, but worth it if you want to support local farmers and healthier living.
20 April 2020 13:33
Sweet Fine Foods, Wellness Center, and Small Grocery Store on Whyte Ave. Lots of Great Products Here and Kind Staff. If You Like Your Milk from a Glass Bottle, Zevia, and Other Fine Organic Products Shop Here.
14 April 2020 22:53
Ifound what I was looking for and got out of there quickly given it was so crowded with shoppers.
31 March 2020 6:41
Blush Lane might just be the perfect little organic market. Lots of things in that small place and a level of customer service that borders on hospitality.
