BMO Bank of Montreal

Nice people, but unfortunately the customer service is slow and Irritating. Especially on Saturday when they're closed you need a Appointment who knew other normal people don't need to do their banking on a Saturday.

Very bad experience and not much explanation. Applied for Visa CC for my son at the branch, we were advised by the branch rep that it was approved, she went over terms and conditions with us and advised us to expect the CC in the mail. Waited 10 days and we called the 1 800 for BMO to inquire if CC was mailed and also to make sure CC does not get lost. We were advised on the phone that CC application was rejected by bank. We were referred back to the branch. We inquired with the same rep and again she confirmed that CC application was approved but now it is showing in the system that it is rejected without any further explanation. We waited for nothing and no further explanation. BMO is a joke, and not the first time they have done this kind of monkey business with us. No wonder they have such low ratings. Will be switching to TD soon. After we submitted this review, Bank was quick to contact us and further personal info was requested by the bank just to be told the next day that there is nothing they can do. Horrible service and if I could give them negative stars for their bad service and ill treatment of their customer, I would not hesitate to do so. Most of these bank individuals forget that they are customer somewhere.and how to treat people. Sad.

Im trying to call to discuss my banking needs and Ive called 6 times now and still no answer! There has to be someone available to take a phone call. This is rediculous! Worst bank ive ever dealt with

Zero customer service, I just was there for a money order. They can't issue a simple USD money order. The staff, especially their manager, need training went RBC done in 5 min

Very poor service. I waited 10 days for this appointment. The advisor was unprofessional, had no knowledge of the product & hard to understand. Don't deal with this branch.

Went to use the bank machine and it was very dirty. You can tell it was very dirty for a long time not fresh the screen on the machine was absolutely disgusting and the counter where i had to set my wallet down. The glass doors were filthy the floors were dirty. Being a major bank you would think they could afford cleaners.

Horrible experience.
They freeze my account: Debit and credit and online banking. They couldn’t fix it when I called and I was outside of the city and i was 3 days without money. Horrible terrible!

I came in this morning to get help reversing a transfer I had made. Patricia helped me and politely explained to me the policy and why I could not reverse the transfer. However, she made a few calls and spoke to a numerous amount of people to try to find me a solution. Her customer service was above and beyond. She was very helpful, kind and provided exceptional service. Thank you Patricia!
