Hire more tellers. Every visit there is a huge line up and tellers cannot seem to release customers just hanging onto them at every counter. Train them to be more efficient. It's mind boggling why a simple deposit of a cheque in person takes 15 minutes minimum at the counter. Why ask customers to insert the card and verify PIN just to waste more time checking multiple further identification. The cheque is going to the account under the name. Having been a BMO customer for over two decades and having used multiple branches I've never seen this type of nonsense and inefficiency.

And be polite to customers. An old lady requested for more tellers and the lady who appeared to be in charge just shouted while walking "Don't have any they are off to lunch! ". Completely unprofessional and should be fired.

30 minute wait times in the middle of the afternoon with 1 teller and 4 employees chatting. Taking my money elsewhere.

Holding a mortgage cheque without notice for 14 bus days is ridiculous. NO CUSTOMER SERVICE HERE! Dealing with bank 17 years.

I've never waited longer at a bank in my life. There was over 5 staff just standing around watching as people waited almost an hour. After reading other people's reviews they clearly don't care or want to do anything about it. I highly recommend any other bank that's not bmo but specifically this branch

Unfortunately I even don’t want to give one star. Extremely unfriendly customer service. Big line up. No greeting even no “hi”. Won’t go to that branch any more for sure. Don’t expect they would put you as a customer first!

Terrible service, incompetent people. Waited in line for 45 minutes with a lineup out the door. Only 1 teller working while the rest sit in the back at their desks. Avoid this place.

U can't release my funds after years of service and months of same payday. I don't want u to hold my money against me and my bills anymore.u force me to leave work an hour early every Friday my payday and walk in your bank branch. I've lost a hundred dollars in wages a month.that's 18 an hr and an hour every Friday because you hold my chq on me for a week.every Friday I'm payed and yet u tell me call in they will release your funds.thx for your lies and ripping me off 100 dollars a month. And stop saying your sorry.what if you couldn't access your earned money when u want it.how would you feel.and don't say your sorry.wow now I sound like you rofl

Easily the worse bank. I transferred some RSP/TFSA's over to BMO, knowing that I had a trusted advisor, Peggy. She recently left the location, and I was told that Ali would reach out to me. He never reached out to me for 3 weeks. I reached out to him. He says he'd follow up with the outstanding issues the same day. I emailed him again exactly 2 weeks later, and he says he never did it. He couldn't explain why and refused to connect me with their branch manager. He passed me off to another advisor instead. Shing called me and said this shouldn't be complicated and that she will resolve it. She word for word says "I will fax it to you" (documents to be signed), then 5 minutes later, claimed that she didn't say that and accused me of "mishearing" her. I was furious at this time as she didn't apologize for miscommunicating with me. Everything was my fault somehow now? She wanted me to take time out of my day to make another trip to the bank to re-sign it. Which obviously, if she said that in the beginning, I wouldn't be so upset about. When an employee can't apologize on behalf of BMO, but blames it on you, it really speaks volumes. I just want to be connected to the branch manager and even she wouldn't give me the contact information. She mentioned that Ali was the only advisor here and expected me to know that, when no one told me in the past month and a half. BMO will just leave all of their clients hanging after they obtain the client's money.

I ended up contacting another branch to figure out the contact information. I have huge regrets trusting BMO with my investment needs. Shing and Ali are not trusted advisors. You'll get blamed for everything. Frankly, an apology goes a long way. If BMO records phone conversations, I strongly advise for you to listen to it.

I want to be positive. But it is very hard. This bank is very dirty. All through Covid there was hardly ever hand sanitizer available. Never any over ans above precautions being made (other than barriers). They NEVER wiped down machines at the teller or anything else after use.
At all other BMO's I have stopped at, it has been a much more positive experience.

The tellers are very slow, there are never enough staff on. And there have been times when they are very rude to clients.

I had a great experience at this branch. The representative, Tolu Buraimoh, was very good to deal with. Tolu offered clear, concise, thorough, and honest advise on helping me finding a solution to my financial situation. I highly recommend this branch and specifically, Tolu. I have moved all my banking to BMO and looking forward to working with BMO in the future. Thank you BMO and Tolu!

This branch has yet to return any phone call I have made in the past few months. Don’t bother using BMO, take your money elsewhere

Somehow BMO telephone banking scheduled for us an appointment with a representative on their day-off. Fortunately, Manisha was courteous and helped us out amidst her hectic schedule. Thanks for the wonderful experience!

Worst customer service. Wanted to open a new account and no one knew what they were doing. Did not end up opening the account and when to RBC next door. Better service and communication.

Worst BMO in Calgary, it used to be great when they had different managers now they have some guy who always has a chip on his shoulder and holds all chqs. I been going here for over 4 years and the last year I try to avoid coming here I'd rather drive the extra 15 mins and go to shawnessy or even 130th

There's always long waits and line ups to see the tellers. I recently visited a financial advisor Chris who was uninformed, disorganized and due to him held off sending my forms in or notifying me to come in and sign papers. I spoke with their bank Manager and Branch manager who both informed me that Chris had told them a different story. I kept all paper trails and emails and proved that he was dishonest. I did receive an apology from 1 of the managers.but still believe the apology should have come from Chris. BMO has gone down hill over the years. It's hard to find good service. Last week I stopped by their location to use the ATM after hours and found a homeless man sleeping in the lobby area.they really need 24/7 security. I don't feel safe going to this location after dark anymore.

Went in there to make changes to my account. No i did not have an appointment so i was not execting anything. The teller was great and went to see if there was anyone that could help me. They had found someone that said they had time.
Once the person took me back to her office i explained what i needed again. She then had to go ask her manager if she could help me. Then she came back and said she could but it would take time and she didnt have the time right now since she had another appointment. So she was trying to get me to come in on a different day. Well if you dont have time then just say so. I didnt come in there expecting to be helped but when someone said that they had the time to help me i thought i was getting great service. But it turns out all they were doing was wasting my time. Now as a customer i understood i was walking in without setting up an appointment and had very low expectations and was pleasently surprised when someone said they had time for me but in the end they were wasting my time! This was the first and the last time i will ever go to this branch.
All they had to do was tell me sorry but there is no one available and that would have been completely fine.
