BMO Bank of Montreal

Contact the branch manager but no update. Try to contact with few team members at the branch but no reply. This is one of the kinds of Bank Branch you stay away from. No wonder the branch review is so low. I also left a voice message to the Branch manager. I hope I will receive a response. I don't have the choice even I call 1800.they have told me the Branch has to update. BMO is a good bank but some brach makes the reputation down.

Our company has been trying to reach somebody in regards to account fees/account, but can never seem to get the right person. Never get a call back. They have been absolutely terrible to work with. A real time waster.

I have had multiple bad experiences at this branch. Tellers always have some branch rule that makes my banking a headache. They will argue with you about it for so long until just letting you do it. Have run into the made up rules on multiple occasions. From trying to deposit change into my account to take out larger sums of money it is always a fight with this branch.

Good customer service. I called once, the person I talked to was very accommodating and understood my needs really well. I visited this branch 2x now, service was fast and efficient.

I had gone to a different BMO earlier in the day to have a hold taken off my work cheque because it was going to be held till aug 2 but i had rent due. The first women who helped me at the other branch said she had taken the hold off and i went on with my day. Later when i tried sending my money transfer for rent to my roommate it still was on hold. Since i was closer to this branch i stopped in and told the teller what had happened and how i would like the hold taken off. Might i add i try to be exceptionally nice to people working in banks. They’re usually grumpy for unknown reasons and i don’t want to piss them off. So she asks to see my id, which i wasn’t asked at the other bank earlier in the day. Then she tells me she can’t take the hold off and doesn’t know who told me that they can do that. She said it in the most snide way. I know i look like a druggy when I’m not ready but just give me my damn money. So i go to the other BMO across from Chinook that i went to earlier in the day and talk with the lady that helped me before. And she took the hold off for me! Apologized a ton of times and i got my money for rent. So clearly the women that helped me at this branch doesn’t know what she’s talking about.
