I know dealers are probably not the best place for one to take their out-of-warranty luxury German vehicles, but my experience was beyond frustrating. Now I appreciate the prompt service of BMW Gallery, the free cappuccinos, their awesome shuttle drivers, whoever washes the cars (good job!), and how they subsequently dealt with my airbag recall, but I feel like I have to put my experience out there.

Long-ish story incoming: I had a fuel injector (quite literally) explode in February on Sarcee trail and after a diagnostic at the only shop that would see me that day, BMW Gallery, I was led to believe that the cylinder head of my X5 diesel was damaged beyond repair due to this injector failure and would need replacement, along with a few other bits, to the tune of over $15,000. I paid $16k for the car so obviously there's no way I'm paying that, I'll go somewhere else or do it myself. The service advisor told me "if anyone else you take it to says it needs anything less than this, they are lying to you". Concerned and skeptical, I towed the car to an indy shop the previous owner had used to replace that very injector not 3 months prior to it's failure. They stood behind their work and kindly offered to replace the failed injector and it's associated damage free of charge, as well as point out to me any cylinder head "damage" BMW warned me of. Turns out there was NO DAMAGE to the cylinder head at all, just a fuel line and a few other small bits apart from the injector. Worked out to about $2500 worth of work, almost entirely paid for by the indy shop and part supplier. A far cry from $15k. I realize BMW dealers aren't the cheapest repair option out there, but I don't know what BMW Gallery hopes to achieve by being dishonest and scaring people into thinking there is more damage than there actually is, maybe padding invoices to get more money from warranty companies? Who knows.

If you need service or repair and you're out of the BMW factory warranty period stay far away from the dealer, especially this one.

Edit: 11/10/2018 - 30,000km later my car is running just fine, the independent shop stuck a camera in my engine and found everything was fine. If my cylinder head was that badly damaged as claimed then I would certainly know by now. Also good job Russell telling me to contact you and then not giving me contact info. Plus I’m sure the “free” inspection you offered is gonna come up with like $10k worth of nonsense you can charge me for. Lol no thanks.

Edit 03/24/2019 - 40,000km later (190,000 total) and the X5 is running like a Swiss watch. Zero thanks to BMW gallery. BMW Calgary did some warranty/recall work and the rest has been done with my own two hands, Ram’s Auto Service, or Minit Lube of all places (they carry the 5W30 diesel formula and will do the change for like 60% off what BMW charges for anyone who cares).

Edit 04/2021: X5 has 220k on it, full SCR/DPF delete, and stage 2 tune from ECUProgram. 550 lb-ft at the wheels and 7.5L/100km on the highway. Runs absolutely amazing, probably because BMW Gallery hasn’t touched it in years.

Edit 02/2022: Found out my injector issue was due to the rain trays in the engine bay being cracked and letting water into injector #6. One new injector (got one with a lifetime warranty last time so it’s was free!) and $90 on Amazon for new plastic trays, and she was good to go. Better than paying $15k. 233k km and counting. I highly recommend Sheni’s Auto Trend for servicing their BMW out of warranty.

Edit 01/2023: crossed over 250,000 km. Quarter million club! Cylinder head is still fine. Car runs flawlessly.

Edit 11/2023: 265k and counting. Car’s never been better. I highly recommend Sheni’s Auto Trend for servicing. Not the cheapest but way less than the dealer and their level of service is impeccable.

Terrible service! Bought a used SUV end of Feb 2023. Had to replace both front and rear rotors and brake pads by April 2023. Called to complain, offered to cover cost, no follow from dealership. Offered a complimentary service when in area. Called to arrange when I was going to be in Calgary, no return call or follow up. Purchase experience was great, but that's were it ended.

Had the worst customer service, specifically with Ana-Maria Boldea. I don’t ever write reviews but my experience with BMW gallery this last time was so disrespectful and just plain garbage I had to. I asked for simple requests and none were completed. I got charged for the wrong services and was told what I had originally requested would be covered under warranty. Where does BMW Gallery get these trash “advisors”, they don’t know anything about the cars, maintenance, or what warranty covers. On top of it they couldn’t change the battery in my key which they said they would do when I come to pick up my car. Don’t go to this garbage dealer. Go to BMW in Heritage Meadows.

I am simply amazed with the customer service. I had such an amazing interaction with Jask the sales manager and Matt the GM. These guys worked really hard for giving me the best deal and couldn’t be happier. I’m heartbroken that my insurance came in so high due to my tickets that I couldn’t pursue the deal but i am imprinted with one of the most amazing experiences i ever had in car sales.

I will complete the deal soon my friend but in the mean time you have an admirer and a guaranteed buyer for sure. Will send across everyone i know for a BMW to you guys!

Ivan and Nupy are super professional, friendly, and helpful! These gentlemen know what they are doing, and they'd even go beyond what we usually would expect from any car dealership to help customers getting the best bang for their bucks! Recently purchased a used vehicle here from Dylan and he was super helpful and kind. Dylan went out of his way to make sure we both left happy. We ran into few issue and Dylan was always on top of it making sure we were taking care of. Our Finance was June which I have worked with before and he made it super easy to get all the paperwork done. Matt Lyons was very helpful to us in solving one of our issue with floor mats, he was on the situation right away and made us feel like valued customers. Dylan was what made this experience the best as he was friendly and super easy to communicate with, if you want to buy a car go find him as he will make sure you leave happy. June and Matt will also make sure you are happy and well taking care of after purchasing a vehicle.

I Went there to pick up my friend’s car. Asked a lady that we are looking for sierra and she said she left. My friend just told her that we are here to pick up the car. Her reply was… “so as others, show patience”…. Her words were soft according to her but the way she said with attitude was not appropriate, it was rude even we just told her casually that we are here to pickup a car without being impatient …. I also worked in customer service, i know when someone being rude or not…As a big brand, they really need to work on their customer service. They can be more polite:)

Definitely the best service I ever received especially buying a vehicle out of the city and doing everything via face time. (From Fort Max) MANU SOJAN was very professional and answered all my questions quickly and made me feel assured. I personally thanked him for going above and beyond and when I seen the car it was BETTER than expected. I’m thrilled with the service and what they done for me. Rebecca Popoff from financing was extremely helpful getting the best rate and working with the banks diligently and Dylan assisted with some transportation setups. But thank you Manu for the many questions asked and answered. Will be seeing him for our next purchase for sure.

Disappointment. The estimate was WAY over what it should be. Lucrative, and uninformative. I tried to get a breakdown, but no one responded. I asked numerous times and called numerous times. I took my car to a different shop and the difference in service and price was impressive. It’s like a cash grab for anyone in this service department. It was emotionally draining to hear everything. I just went elsewhere. I didn’t want to have one problem after the another. Just for a diag, they were charging head over heels. Inconsistent and a blaring disregard for your questions. Telling you it’s because you have a BMW that you have to pay for. Honestly never coming back again. Thanks for nothing.

And to be honest I would have been much better if they just gave me a break down of everything they were doing to the car, but the non transparency was the most frustrating thing. Literally What were you charging me for?

We brought our X5 here for service. Overall experience was good, although I must say when I arrived 2 mins early for my service appointment, I stood by my car and was told to wait inside my car and someone would come to me. Multiple staff had walked past me but no one helped me. Then approx 15mins later, I believe a manager saw me sitting there for a long period of time, came and helped. Besides this, my overall experience was good.

They lied and said to me that my brake pads were in “critical” condition and needed to be replaced immediately. On the inspection they wrote that the pads were at 3mm, however 3 other mechanics I got an inspection done from stated they are definitely not in a critical condition and were ACTUALLY at 6mm. Beware of the dishonesty and scamming minds of these employees. You have lost my trust completely. You took advantage of me and thought you would be able to give me false information to make an extra $1100 on that day I came. Great try though! I highly suggest for others to always try others before you go ahead and believe these people.

Service department - Why should I spend $200 on oil change and told me engine oil leak upon pickup? Now I have to drain the newly filled engine oil and replace the oil filter housing gasket! Zero communication while my car is serviced. (I usually get my service done at bmw Calgary, their service advisor will call my when technicians found something new and rearrange my service plan)

I was very impressed with both the sales and service end of this dealership. Both were very polite, willing to go out of their way to ensure that I was satisfied, and would recommend to anyone wanting first class service. Hats off to Charles from sales for treating me (a teenager), with the same respect as my father when we had some questions about buying a new car. As for service, Chris and Stacy were both very friendly and ensured I was on the same page as them for the state of my vehicle and recommended services appropriately. 10/10 will be visiting again.

Don't ever buy the used vehicle extended warranty. It is overpriced and a scam. I sold my BMW and cancelled my extended warranty. Was supposed to get a refund for the unused portion. After numerous phone calls to the warranty company and BMW gallery still nothing. BMW gallery is quick to take your money but not helpful to get it back.

They quoted me $7417.98. I got the repair done somewhere else for $1799 (with authentic BMW Parts). I no longer trust this dealership at all after years of giving them my business.

One morning I came out and my sunroof had just randomly shattered. I phoned BMW and they said that the repair would cost either $1800 or about $5000 if the frame had been damaged. I did not expect the frame to be damaged as there was no impact etc as it just randomly cracked. They said I had to bring the car in to confirm the frame was not damaged to get a written quote. I drove the car in and once I got there they quoted me $7417.98. I said there appears no damage to the frame and they said “maybe or maybe not” but it was $7417.98 to repair my car. He also wanted to know if I was claiming through insurance prior to giving me a price. The amount they wanted to charge me to repair just a cracked skylight was 1/3 of the price of an entire car (the same BMW with less miles than mine on auto trader). I asked for my keys back. I wanted to leave and not to have the repair done at this shop. He said my car “wasn’t ready” so I couldn’t have it. I said “what do you mean? I see my car right there! ” Then I pointed to it parked right behind him. I asked for my keys and they just kept me waiting. He said it would take him ten minutes to sign my car back out for me to leave. I went somewhere else and it was $1799 for a full and proper repair with glass ordered from BMW. Note: Crystal Glass ordered in and used authentic BMW parts/glass. Nothing the BMW Gallery said added up. They seemed REALLY sketchy to me. I just don’t trust them at all after this experience.

I recently purchased a mint condition, low km, used car from BMW Gallery at a great price. It was a really positive experience. The quality of the used cars there are top notch, and I didn't want a car with excuses. Mike Wozniak was great to deal with: very knowledgeable of the brand, was very patient as I took time to finalize my decision, and negotiated fairly and with a friendly collaborative demeanor. Divina in the Finance team was great to work with too. She helped me find an extended warranty package that met my unique situation with a low km car and low km per year driving habits. Thanks to the great team at BMW Gallery. I'm sure it won't be the last BMW I purchase there.

I went in to look at an Audi A8 and soon as I started to doubt the purchase of the vehicle. The intense pressure started. To the point, I got called a liar from the Sales Manager himself, because I didn't want to keep explaining myself on why I changed my mind of the vehicle.

Same day, I went to a Country Hills Mercedes dealership and purchase a vehicle. Still to this day very satisfied.

Bmw x5 with only 30000 km the engine light come on which said malfunction and reduce power also clicking sound coming out of engine.so I took it to bmw gallery dealership, after they diagnosed the car they told me I need to replace the DME and the accelerator pedal which will cost me close to $4600 then they said hopefully that will solve the problem.if the clicking sound is still there then they will diagnose valvetronic servomotor for plausibility if that is the case the total cost will be over 10k.so I took my car to VItek's autoworks Inc.immediately they told me that they will check the camshaft and servomotor.sure enough vitek fixed the problem and the DME and accelerator pedal were both ok.the engine malfunction light came off the problem fixed. So bmw gallery wants me to replace something which I don't need, try to rip me off, I would never take my car to bmw gallery again.i would give them a 0 star if there is one!

I was shopping online as I live a couple hours away and Mike Wozniak was very helpful in answering my questions and providing information I requested. When we met in person, he was very professional, great to talk to, and knows his BMW's. Price discussions were straight forward and very reasonable. I would definitely purchase another vehicle in the future here! I also want to thank Martin Defazio for doing a great job on the paint protection wrap I had installed prior to delivery, it looks amazing

1 star is only because I can’t give them 0 stars. Worst dealership experience ever. They use phishing tactics to lure customers into their dealership. I did a test drive of a used vehicle and immediately applied for financing, but only to get rejected for no reasons. Having a good score and gotten approved by other dealerships at much better rate than expected, I thought i would easily get the financing done quickly. But financing managers working in there never cared about the application and came up with all BS excuses and eventually raising their hands saying they don’t know what happened. So only visit this dealership if you want to get rejected and have negative impact on your credit history.

The sale of my first car went well and I was very happy with my BMW. When my lease was coming close to an end and it was time to get into a new one, well, that’s when things went sideways.

After we negotiated a deal on a used one and I gave my card for a deposit, I was told the car was sold. The communication took days and the delay cost the sale. Then we tried for a new one (coincidence?) and that came to an agreement, again with terrible communication, until we worked something out. Only to then be told by finance that i couldn’t get approved. The finance gentleman couldn’t figure out my application or something. There is no way I couldn’t buy this vehicle. Again terrible communication. After I couldn’t buy a car, it was crickets. No return phone calls. No email responses. Nothing. Like I didn’t exists.

The whole experience felt like I was dealing with a bunch of amateurs. I know the market is hot but every sale counts and when a customer rolls up wanting to spend almost 6 figures, a person should at least feel respected.

So, after a couple weeks of research, I called up Mercedes country hills and was in a C43 before I knew it. No issues with financing. No hiccups. Nothing. Now that’s how a deal should go!

The hurt with Gallery didn’t stop there though. They provided the buyout to Mercedes and I thought all was well. No. They holded out paying off the car to try and swindle an extra $1000 from Mercedes as an “admin fee” lol. Took over a month to get the lease paid because of the back and forth. I wouldn’t be surprised if other DEALERS stop dealing with them. Slimey behavior trying to squeeze one last buck. Meanwhile BMW tried to keep taking my money out of my account despite not having the car for over a month. That was fun.

In short, I can’t recommend going somewhere else enough. I couldn’t give them a one star because the original sale a few years was quite pleasant. No issues there. Now it’s totally different. The whole experience after that was that of a used car dealer selling auction finds. Greasy.

Go somewhere else and save you the trouble and money.

Just picked up 2019 X3! It was very good experience again with BMW gallery especially with Jun Kim. He explained everything step by step. He made sure I understand all the details of the car. Also he worked soooo hard to give me a good deal! I assure that he will help you get what you want with a great deal. Jun also helped me on the day I pick up car even though it was day off for him. He made sure I am happy with the car and go through bumper to bumper and go over technology stuff. Thanks again Jun and BMW Gallery!

Ive always brought my vehicle back to the dealer for all maintenance since brand new. Just recently they had told me I needed to change my valve cover gasket on my vehicle and would cost a substantial amount of money. I was a bit puzzled because my car has extremely low kms on it. In doing so I brought it to another reputable local shop that specializes in European vehicles for a second opinion and they told me the contrary. I didn't need to replace that part yet because it was still in good shape. So just FYI, getting a second opinion on more substantial services might be a good idea just to get a better understanding.

Got my new X5 couple of months ago. Wanted to drive it for some time before writing this review. Absolutely love it! Was choosing between X5 and Range Rover Sport. X5 hands down, especially given their warranty and maintenance. Very well thought through machine!
This dealership is easy to work with. Special thanks to the sales rep Ahmed Elkurdy, he is a true professional! No pressure, very polite, quick communication. I am a very picky customer (that's right!), but Ahmed was able to accommodate all my requests. I also had a trade in value in mind for my vehicle, and Ahmed made it work. Very good experience overall, so ask for Ahmed when you come in.

As a disclaimer, the only reason I gave BMW a rating of 3 stars is because of BMW themselves and not this dealership. I feel ripped-off and cheated regarding how they've handled my warranty claim. That said I feel somewhat bad giving them only 3 stars because my experience with this particular dealership has been stellar.

In terms of the dealership, all the staff are extremely friendly and helpful. The service department is a pleasure to deal with and go out of their way to make sure the client is satisfied. While I'm rather disappointed with BMW themselves, I tend to walk away with a smile after interacting with the service staff; to be honest not sure about sales since I don't have any experience there.

Not to single anyone out, since they are all great, but I've been dealing mostly with Andrei. He has been diligent, empathetic and professional every time. Not the same experience at the other location down south but this review is not about them; its a review about this particular location and they're outstanding when it comes to customer service and support.

As a disclaimer, the only reason I gave BMW a rating of 3 stars is because of BMW themselves and not this dealership. I feel ripped-off and cheated regarding how they've handled my warranty claim. That said I feel somewhat bad giving them only 3 stars because my experience with this particular dealership has been stellar.

In terms of the dealership, all the staff are extremely friendly and helpful. The service department is a pleasure to deal with and go out of their way to make sure the client is satisfied. While I'm rather disappointed with BMW themselves, I tend to walk away with a smile after interacting with the service staff; to be honest not sure about sales since I don't have any experience there.

Not to single anyone out, since they are all great, but I've been dealing mostly with Andrei. He has been diligent, empathetic and professional every time. Not the same experience at the other location down south but this review is not about them; its a review about this particular location and they're outstanding when it comes to customer service and support.

Have had good service here but never seem to have enough loaner vehicles when your car is going in for longer repair. Otherwise it is good.

Bought a used 3 series I had an exceptionally good experience. They made purchasing a vehicle very easy. I would definitely recommend this dealership.

I bought a used Audi from BMW gallery back in October and had problems with it the day I drove it home. I took it back the next day and was told nothing was wrong with it. Clearly there was, so I decided to take it to Audi service to get it diagnosed and there was a level sensor issue. Another problem with the Audi was the 1st carwash I gave it, there was rust all over and I noticed it was covered with putty to hide the rust. I've been calling BMW gallery and leaving messages and nobody has got back to me. Very Disappointed.

If you buy a vehicle here, you may have following problems I experienced. 1. Short of equipment from the vehicle you ordered. 2. Vehicle is not clean to deliver, still have yellow glue on the body from wrapping film. 3. There are stone chips on your new vehicle in delivery room without informing you. You are fked after driving out of the delivery room if you dont pay attention. 4. You made compliant regarding these problems but you wont hear any words from them.

Lots of good people working here, service is A1 in every department, service, parts etc.that's just my experience anyways.sometimes bit of a wait list to get your vehicle in but worth the wait because its done right. I know there will be exceptions and that happens.anyways thumbs up

I never though i would own a BMW; but my experience at BMW was a huge reason why we decided to purchase our new car there.my husband and i went into BMW gallery to check out some SUVs, at first we were being ignored by the 3 sales men all sitting at one table. (we always get ignored at car dealerships for some reason) As we kept browsing, Jimmy as soon as he saw us came out of his office immediately extremely helpful.

He knew his cars, competitors, and was so so sooooo helpful and kind to us. I can not explain how amazing our experience was with him.after looking at other cars, we decided on bmw, and even after we decided to get our car, the service was still exceptional from Doug the manager, to Uzair who was very informative when handing the car over to us.take it from me, even if you dont think of BMW, go check them out.im so happy my husband talked me into "just looking".

I would like to thank the Jun Kim and the sales staff at BMW Gallery for making my car purchase experience extremely positive. Really happy with the car and really happy with the level of service I received.
It was my first time visiting this dealership and will be the only one I go to for now on.

I know dealers are probably not the best place for one to take their out-of-warranty luxury German vehicles, but my experience was beyond frustrating. Now I appreciate the prompt service of BMW Gallery, the free cappuccinos, their awesome shuttle drivers, whoever washes the cars (good job!), and how they subsequently dealt with my airbag recall, but I feel like I have to put my experience out there.

Long-ish story incoming: I had a fuel injector (quite literally) explode in February on Sarcee trail and after a diagnostic at the only shop that would see me that day, BMW Gallery, I was led to believe that the cylinder head of my X5 diesel was damaged beyond repair due to this injector failure and would need replacement, along with a few other bits, to the tune of over $15,000. I paid $16k for the car so obviously there's no way I'm paying that, I'll go somewhere else or do it myself. The service advisor told me "if anyone else you take it to says it needs anything less than this, they are lying to you". Concerned and skeptical, I towed the car to an indy shop the previous owner had used to replace that very injector not 3 months prior to it's failure. They stood behind their work and kindly offered to replace the failed injector and it's associated damage free of charge, as well as point out to me any cylinder head "damage" BMW warned me of. Turns out there was NO DAMAGE to the cylinder head at all, just a fuel line and a few other small bits apart from the injector. Worked out to about $2500 worth of work, almost entirely paid for by the indy shop and part supplier. A far cry from $15k. I realize BMW dealers aren't the cheapest repair option out there, but I don't know what BMW Gallery hopes to achieve by being dishonest and scaring people into thinking there is more damage than there actually is, maybe padding invoices to get more money from warranty companies? Who knows.

If you need service or repair and you're out of the BMW factory warranty period stay far away from the dealer, especially this one.

Edit: 11/10/2018 - 30,000km later my car is running just fine, the independent shop stuck a camera in my engine and found everything was fine. If my cylinder head was that badly damaged as claimed then I would certainly know by now.

Edit 03/24/2019 - 40,000km later (190,000 total) and the X5 is running like a Swiss watch. Zero thanks to BMW gallery. BMW Calgary did some warranty/recall work and the rest has been done with my own two hands, Ram’s Auto Service, or Minit Lube of all places.

Just picked up my new 7 series BMW from BMW Gallery. What a pleasure to deal with the whole team. My third BMW from BMW Gallery. Each experience has been better than the previous but I’m not sure how they’ll top this last one. Every one from George and Chris in service to Ryan, Doug and Graham in sales. Top notch and genuine people. Really impressed with Ryan especially. He was so genuine and an amazing listener. Fully understood my likes and and desires when it came to choosing the right vehicle. We spent 4 months putting this deal together. He has been patient and very thorough in ensuring I got exactly what I was looking for. And oh yeah, the CAR. All I can say is wow! Just love it! Technology, luxury and performance all in one!

Just picked up my new X1 and I'm so happy with the overall service! We were those awful customers that showed up right before close and Omar was right away willing to let us go out for a test drive. The whole sales process was quick and easy, and at no point did we feel rushed or pressured. Omar was awesome! Stephanie in finance also was super helpful getting everything organized for me, all I had to do was sign a few papers and done deal! I traded in my old car and BMW was also cool enough to give me a loaner for a few days until my new one was ready. Huge thanks to Omar for coming in on his day off to show me all the features on the new SUV as well. Overall very happy with the service and would highly recommend.

Got a letter from them for a special sale even, I was told there was cash credits for all new models. But actually NOT. They even Charged more than MSRP, and tried force me to buy more than $3k unnecessary services. I have to given up the deal.

I recently purchased a used vehicle from BMW Gallery in the North West and it was such a positive experience. I dealt with Michael Wozniak & Glenn Brown, and they both took such good care of me. Michael is awesome he always kept in touch with me during the whole buying process (and even after) every time I call him he got back to me with an answer even in his day off, that my friends is impressive, like I said the service is amazing, they were available to answer all my questions and they both went above and beyond to make sure I was happy with my purchase, welcoming, warm and friendly. Quick and efficient with a dose of humor, I definitely recommend this dealer specially if you are in search of a used car, they detailed the car inside and out and gave it to me like it was a new car and with a full tank of gas, I cannot said enough about them. TOP NOTCH service for sure, I am glad I decided to buy at this location. Michael you Rock, no wonder you are a Retention Specialist. I also want to Thank Divina Oliverio she took care of my paperwork and made the process really smooth.
