Boardwalk Heights

We’ve lived in this building for several years and have never had any major issues! Abeba is fantastic and is always helpful and kind.

No one contacted me to let me know that my application had been declined. Unfortunately, my partner had his identity stolen and his credit was affected. We were not aware of this issue prior to applying and paying the $599 deposit to apply. It took a lot of messaging and literally just showing up at the building to get someone to let me know when I would be refunded my deposit. It came several days later than I was told and several messages to inquire were ignored.

Applied for another unit in another building with a different co-tenant and again no one contacted me to tell me it was declined. It took two days to find out that the leasing agent didn't even know why I was declined.

The communication was very poor overall. When someone is waiting on a total of $1200 refund and/or a place to live, you could at least let them know what's going on. It halted any other applications or viewings for us.

No one contacted me, I just saw the unit relisted online and had to contact them myself and wait for a response.

Super disappointing.

I had lived longly at boardwalk community and I had a pleasure of interacting with Abeba throughout my entire stay at Unwin road Nw. I can not speak highly enough of her great customer service. She addressed well with patience my concerns and issues during my time there whether it was a maintenance request, a billing inquiry and general questions. Abeba was always there to assist promptly and Efficiently. I would really recommend board walk heights and Abeba to anyone in a search of hassle free and customer centric living experience.

I would like to express my deepest gratitude to Lady Abeba and Boardwalk Heights. I am happy that I called Abeba specifically to this company for finding apartment. And the next day, Lady Abeba called me back and said that there was apartment that interested me. Of course, my 12-year-old son and I came the next day to see the apartment.
Lady Abeba explained everything perfectly, showed us the apartment. And on the same day we signed a deal to rent an apartment. A very beautiful Lady Abeba and a great professional.
In addition, Lady Abeba helped to resolve another issue of entering the apartment for a question Lady Abeba helped solve another very important issue for my family. It so happened that we need to check out three days earlier than the scheduled date. And when Lady Abeba called and found out from the residents the information we were interested in. And then she told us that we would be able to check into the apartment on the date we needed. I was so happy at that moment that I can not express in words.

I have lived here for over 5 months and I have zero complaints. I wanted to take my time to give a detailed review as opposed to leaving a knee jerk first reaction.

Alex is amazing and was instrumental in getting us the apartment in this building. He listened to all our conserns and made sure the apartment was ready for us before we moved in. We got a renovated apartment with a gorgeous view and I'm happy to call this place home.

The few neighbours I have met are friendly and there's a fitness centre as well for those who love to keep fit. I am genuinely impressed by the Management Team. Keep up the great work!

We rented with Boardwalk for 4.5 years, 3 years of which was at Boardwalk Heights. In these three years the building had different managers but the current manager Abeba has been the best of them. The building is reasonably clean and well maintained. There are multiple bus lines in the area and it's a 10 minute walk to Banff trail train station. The units themselves come in different shapes and states of renovation so you have some choices. Ask them to install a bird net on the balcony as otherwise the pigeons will just ruin it! You have to pay a small fee but it is definitely worth it. Overall, it's been nice living in Boardwalk Heights for 3 years and I will recommend it to anyone looking for worry-free renting with good access to downtown, university, SAIT and hospitals in the area.

I have a great experience with Abeba located in Boardwalk heights office. She is always kind, responsive and helpful. Even if I live on the next door boardwalk building, she never stopped helping me.

Abeba is hands down the best I’ve dealt with. Moving in and out was so seamless and easy. She dealt with all my issues quickly and professionally! I really enjoyed my time at boardwalk because of her.

Abeba Gebregziabher has gone out of her way to help me multiple times. She is alway kind and pleasant to be around And I am very grateful for her. I believe she deserves a raise.

First of all, my wife takes a shift off of work at the hospital for our appointment, only to find out once we got there today, no one was there to show us the property. After calling getting told that is the websites fault for scheduling the appointment. You ran a business that blame its own faults on other things. We have been trying to find a place for a while and to have this happen is very annoying. Fix your website.

Boardwalk Heights is a fantastic home for students and families that want to be near UofC or Foothills. As my first home, I was pleasantly surprised by how clean and well kept it was. In the last 14 months that I have been here, I have had zero complaints and both Abeba and Alex have been so professional and helpful in all aspects of making it my home.

We were looking for an apartment and we found Abeba here. She helped us so much for everything and she is so supportive. That was a big chance for us to meet her and this building. The apartment is so nice.

Abeba was a great help in the moving process and very friendly and patient! Boardwalk was a great first home! I wish I could have stayed longer:)

Location is excellent if you are a university student or medical staff doing clinical/research work at foothills hospital. Amenities are included in the rent which is great.

He made my day very easy to move in since I want to move in a little earlier than what I was told. I was very happy and satisfied that he can arranged to moved in a few days earlier of my request.
