Overall a good experience. Great service! The food was good, expected. However, the Cactus Cut Potato’s did not meet expectations; it was not fresh, warm and crunchy. The dip was good but less creamy or whipped as before. The portion seamed less too.
The staffs were good, foods were fine. But the floor looks not clean for 2 -3 days. It was busy, all foods and some garbages, fork were on the floor next to our table in the family room area.
Just recently came to visit Canada with a few friends and ended up at Boston Pizza for the first time. One of the best experiences I’ve had so far! The food and drinks were amazing along with the staff. The manager, Ada, was also really helpful:) Would highly recommend to visit this place!
I’ve tried this BP location twice. The pizza is decent, but the wings weren’t too tasty. Our server didn’t come by very often to check on refills, but the food came relatively quickly.
Honestly not bad for the price, I was pleasantly surprised by how juicy their chicken wings were and the drinks here are decent too. The place is clean and has lots of seating.
We regularly visit BP; we love the food! This was our first time in this location and maybe it will be the last one.
We arrived at 5 pm, there was just one table in service. No one went to the front desk and escorted us to the table, then, we set to dawn, and after no less than 6 minutes the waitress gave us the menus, with no sense of hurry.
I asked for a beer that was not available (that's totally understandable), but no options were suggested by the server instead just let us read the menu again.
We order a "Big dipper" and a "Memphis Sandwich" with cactus cut on the side. We know what to expect about our dishes because we always order the same.
Dishes took more than 17 to be ready on the table even when we were the only people served at the time. The worst part.undercooked potatoes.
I just put them on the side and ate as much as I can, I was super hungry after driving many hours.
In the end, the bill was sent to the table and that's it. Very bad experience with this location. We don't recommend it, there are 11 more BP in Calgary to go.
Food and drink as expected, service was not great. Brought our food and asked if we needed anything besides cutlery, and when she finally returned it was to see if we were ready for the bill. We had pasta. My husband took the 1 set of clean cutlery off a dirty table behind us. She went from us, to the table behind us, and then never came back. Never asked if everything was good etc. It was not that busy, a handful of tables, and maybe they were short staffed, I'm not sure- in which case that's on the restaurant.
We were shown to a table on the restaurant side - that was the last anyone would acknowledge our existence. The woman who showed us to the table disappeared into the kitchen. Three servers/bus people walked by helping other people who had arrived later, but ignoring us. We clearly had no drinks or food.
After 20 minutes without drinks or a server, I went to the front counter to request one. Rather than coming over, the three servers/bus persons were just talking something over and seemingly in no rush to come over.
It is disappointing as I live a 2 minute drive from this location and have been there fairly regularly until now.
Polite staff, food is on point for a chain, so they do it well but prices are rising. Fall 2022 update. The lack of staff shows. Pizzas just this side of overdone, broccoli cold, steak twice the size of garlic bread for the steak sandwich which was also cold. Pizza bread not fluffy like other locations. We agreed as a family we should have driven to Southport. Saw one family walk out before ordering due to lack of attention. American NFL game on monitors when the Stamps were playing, what was that about. Was also sure server was staring awkwardly at the tip entry as we were inputting payment to debit.awkward. Don't be in a rush, maybe it was an off Friday night.
I feel like when you order from Boston pizza you know exactly what you are going to get and that’s why you order.
Tonight I have to say I was really shocked and unimpressed with what we got. I ordered bugs and cheese for my little guy because at 18 months pasta is pretty much a dietary staple, tonight I couldn’t figure out why he wouldn’t touch it.until I realized how dry it was. There was hardly any sauce and the noodles were incredibly hard.
For myself I ordered the spinach dip which is normally my go to. When I opened the container I couldn’t recognize what it was. There was so little of it and it looked like something had deflated in the bottom of the takeout container. It was so chunky and over powering with salt.
It was just so bad it all went straight in the garbage. This isn’t the first time we’ve had this take out experience at this location but it’s definitely the last
I have been coming to this Boston Pizza for years and recently, they have new staff in the bar area that ignores you when you are there. I have tried three times recently for the bar on wing nights, it's never busy there anymore, and the first time we didn't get our drink order in until 20 minutes after sitting down. Then 15 more minutes of waiting to put in our food order. The second time I didn't get any refills, then to get our Reciept it took 15 minutes of sitting there. This last time we didn't get any refills on our drinks. I won't be returning to the bar area anymore which is a shame as we enjoyed coming here pre pandemic.
I had the gluten free pizza. It wasn't as good as the pizza they had a few years ago. Met up with my aunt and her sisters. We wanted to visit and it was hard to hear each other. The service was excellent.
Very bad experience with the manager Heather. We requested our appetizer to come out first before our lasagnas which it did not. It came out after the lasagna came and when we questioned about it, the attitude we got from Heather and the responses we received were so unacceptable from a service person. I have been in the service industry for 40 years and have never been treated so bad. She ended up banning me and my date from coming back when it was something that was the restaurants fault. I have been going to that location for 30 years and cannot believe when I told her that my family and friends spend $500 a month there she said “we don’t care, we don’t need it. ” Additionally, apparently according to Heather “ the costumer is NOT always right” as she told me and my date directly to our face, basically accusing us of trying to get free food. If this is how management is trained, I, nor, my family will be returning.
Visited on our vacay to Calgary. Food and drinks were good, but our waiter disappeared halfway thru and a woman took over with no talk about what happened. I just thought this was a little odd. The restaurant was SUPER cold inside I was almost shivering. I would return.
The food was a good quality as usual but our server kept forgetting about us to the point my friend ended up getting up and finding a staff member to order a drink refill. The restaurant was basically empty too.
I mistakenly ordered from this restaurant thinking it was another and only realized it when I showed up to pick it up. I spoke to the staff there to apologize and offered to pay for the order anyhow; they were so understanding and wouldn't accept payment. Super good service. Highly recommended!
Service was excellent Meal was very good. (Jambalaya). Even though meal was express delivered to table, it always seems like the pasta could be hotter.
Heather the location Manager was extremely attentive and helpful in correcting an online order issue where credit card was authorized three times for one order. She confirmed no additional charges were made and gave us discount on this take out order. She also offered next meal free. Very much appreciated the great customer service!
Took my kids here for dinner. We had apps, meal and dessert. The service was great. The table was certified clean and disinfected. The price was a little on the high side but still was fair considering we had a 3 course meal.
I would say the food itself was bomb just that the service was not. Looking’ more like a Hooter’s these days ;) Server took order of two 7 cheese ravioli, didn’t bother to ask whether we would like the bolognese sauce or vegetarian. Fortunately for her, we aren’t strict vegetarians as we were served bolognese sauce. They served our appy with main which was not expected. Didn’t do a check in on the food until we were half way done. She was weird, would listen to our statement nod her head and just slide away. She was even more sneakier when she slid a refill Pepsi on our table.
I went in to watch Monday night Football, I was one of three patrons in the bar and they couldn't even put the audio on. Don't market yourself as a sports bar if this is the case.
Been to Boston pizzas all over country and by far the worst. The stink of something I can't quite put finger on what it is but had to leave half way through my beer. Bartender also not very pleasant. Will definitely find another place.
Ordered at 1115am, told 20 minutes, 45 minutes later I call, told it's on the way (live under 3 minutes away) ; 10 minutes later I was still waiting. Phoned to cancel, told basically"too bad". WILL NOT USE AGAIN. Thanks LEON THE LIAR.
Just ordered for pickup. Pizza cold. Thai bites tasty but cold. Ordered 2 kids meals.one of which was missing veggies side. I called to let them know one kids meal was missing th side. She apologized but offered no future discount or free item for next visit. I second guessed to tip or not.should have followed my hunch not to tip.
Non pizza food items were reasonable considering their speciality is pizza and pizza related items. Their deluxe pizza notably had good crispy pepperoni slices, good quality ham, good cheese, and decent crisp to their crust with good chew. Service was courteous and polite, as expected of a sit down place.
Awful dinning experience. The food was not good at all. I got the kickn' Memphis chiken burger and it was Luke warm at best and so poorly seasoned. My girlfriend got a salad. And our food took close to an hour to come out when there is only two other table in the entire restaurant. The table across from us got a full tray of drinks spilled on them. Never again. Absolutely unprofessional and rediculus.
The restaurant was great and the staff was wonderful. The menu has lots to choose from and about 2 weeks ago it was even larger. We started the meal off with the spinach and artichoke dip, which I highly recommend. Then we got a build your pizza and was also delicious.
BP has really upped their game with serious changes to their menu. We tried one of their new Power Bowls (Honey Dill Chicken Bowl and it was a 10+. Absolutely delectable. " Your choice of breaded or grilled chicken breasts drizzled with honey dill served with a warm blend of quinoa and rice with spinach, cherry tomatoes, guacamole, beers, carrots, roasted red Peppers and cucumber". What a combo. Not served with a side because it really didn't need one.you have to try it, I'll be back.
Assuming that you are already familiar with Boston Pizza, this location is certainly an above average experience. Its an older layout location, but it's pretty clean and seemed well kept up. Service has been good in both the bar and restaurant. No complaints from me here!
I've been to this location multiple times, and they always give me great service. If you have a request that isn't out of reason, they will logically think about it and respond instead of rejecting it immediately.
Drinks were good and love the waitress but our food came out hot but with in 3 minutes it was ice cold. We were sitting on lower level by the window. My husband and I both said the food would have stayed hot if there wasnt cold air blowing on the table. This disappointed us. Also I feel they should do a through cleaning of the rafters and vents as they are very dusty and seen a few dust particles come out from above us. Sorry just saying.
When you're craving great pizza and a fine salad, BP is always reliable. The service at the Beddington Square NW location was super tonight, thanks to Chelsea who made it fun! You can't go wrong at BP.
Bathroom was dirty, told manager and employee went to look but didnt clean anything. Toilet paper everywhere, dirty seats, change table was gross. The waitress was very slow and half the restaurant was empty, waited over half an hour to order food.
I've been going to restaurants solo for a while to better grasp the atmosphere. The staff was extremely pleasant, and not at all judgemental at my choice to dine alone. All in all, experience was excellent and food was 12/10
My kids love it here but I've never been a huge fan. They usually screw up on something but when I went last I had amazing service and the food was delicious.

My family and I enjoy dining at this location. The service is great and consistent. Most recently I went for dinner with my sister who is blind. Our server was sweet and patient, and the food delicious! Thanks for making it a great evening:)
Me and my husband went here for valentines date 2019. Terrible cook, we ordered nachos for starters not enough ground beef, cheese or toppings on top, like it’s so dry nachos that much better if you buy in a store, we didn't finish it. I ordered calamari and just tiny pieces, the French onion soup I ordered is like a water that soak a bread in it with a plastic cheese on top, it’s very terrible.t My husband pasta is just okay. The server asked us for dessert but I don’t want to waste my 9 dollars like the French onion soup I ordered that I didn’t eat at all. What a terrible food. I will.not come back in this place.
