Bow Tie Pizza (Centre St)

Only learnt of Bow Tie Pizza this summer, and it is by far the best pizza ever! Service was Amazing! All the guys were kind, cheerful and helpful. Pizza is top notch! The homemade Caesar dressing, dill dip, garlic aioli, chipotle sauce, and cheesecake are out of this world! This is a new favourite and go to and it’s dangerous how close it is to my work for a quick pick up after a long day.

Stereo was cranked it made it very hard to communicate with the one employee there. This location is take pur only. We where really excited to try their pizza only to be let down. Comparable to Verns low end meats plus thought real bacon. 60.00 for a large and small pizza. Foe the quality or lack there of, that price is to much. The crust is nothing special either. Just average or below as it's to expensive for what one gets

The location has takeaway only. I wish they had dine-in. Pizza was great, lots of cheese and bread was very tasty and fresh. Cheesecake was delicious! Prices are a bit high, could be due to high quality.

It took a while to find a great pizza place after moving to the SE, but Bowtie Mahogany has answered the call. Great pizza every time. I'd eat it everyday if I could. No, seriously.

Exceptional pizza!
I tried the new Chipotle Chicken pizza and it was amazing. It was the right amount of flavour and spice.
I also ate 1/2 a piece of the strawberry cheesecake. It was surprisingly good and I would definitely order it again.

Take out rating only of 4.5 overall. If you love the typical Calgarian style cheesey pizza, this is yet another great spot to go to. Overly stuffed with content and aesthetically pleasing. Also enjoyed the garlic aioli dip with it - not too strong as other garlic dips but still good. $25-30 for a medium sized pizza - hefty but comes with the content. The crust is ok here - on the crunchier side vs doughy. Wide selection of pizza choices or there is a make your own.

Love Bow Tie Pizza! We order from the Centre St location once a week on the day we're too busy too cook dinner. The pizza is delicious with fresh ingredients and lots of them! The dough is to-die-for.it rises for a couple days at the optimum temperature. I love the option to get your pizza "well-done". On top of the pizza the staff are all really great.always have a smile. The price is very competitive for the quality. We order a 14" and have 1 piece each per meal so it lasts forever! No cooking yay!

My teenage daughter is a pizza fanatic and when I asked her what she thought of this, she said it's almost as good as the homemade pizza she makes. The service was friendly and accommodating. We weren't thinking of the possibility of not having somewhere to eat the pizza (we Ubered here before going to the airport) but they allowed us to sit on the window ledge and eat it there. Great crust, enjoyable pizza sauce, and good selection of pizza options.

I discovered this place over a year ago based on it's stellar reviews at that time. I have been returning ever since, and found out that they started two more stores in the past few months. In my opinion this speaks volumes to the quality. Just writing this review excites my taste buds. You cannot go wrong here and most likely you can't go just once.

Amazing pizza fresh ingredients and crisp crust! They have vegan options for me and my husband loves the mother of dragons.
The staff is wonderful both in store and the delivery drivers. Our favorite pizza place.

Also the counter girl took cash, then handled the pizzas without washing her hands. Not sure when the last time she washed them and definitely grossed out because of that.

This is hands down my new favourite pizza place. There's a good amount of toppings on the pizza. High quality meats, I love the sauce and the dough is nice and soft. Worth the price.

The pizza is delicious! Flavorful, top quality ingredients, amazing crust, awesome sauce! The delivery is always prompt and accurate. They even show up faster sometimes! We love Bow Tie and think it's good bang for buck.

This is our favorite pizza restaurant in the city and we've been long time customers ordering ~ 1-3 times a month. The pizza is high quality and even the sides such as the pasta are excellent. I always recommend people to give these guys a try!

We love pizza from Bow Tie and order from the Center Street location 1-2 times a month. The guys here are always happy and friendly when we pick up, and the delivery staff is just as pleasant when we order in.

Here you get what you pay for. A loaded, delicious, fresh pizza. This reminds me of a high quality vern's or restaurant style pizza. Will definitely be going back!

Amazing! The pizza on it's own is spectacular but the fact that the dairy free and gluten free options are just as tasty is the brilliant part! Crust always cooked to perfection, never too dry, never too chewy, toppings are very generous and of obviously good quality. Order never takes more than 30 mins (pick-up) and the staff is extremely helpful and friendly. The only disappointing thing I have to point out is that the sweet sauce on the donair pizza is not sold by the bottle and it damn well deserves to be! <3 *chefs kiss*

My husband and I are literally sitting here eating this AMAZING pizza.
It did take a while for delivery but they called and let us know there was a delay and gave us a free 2lt of pop and they were super friendly and kind.

The pizza though. It might be a little pricey but damn is it good pizza. I had the four cheese and it was so good. My husband had the meat lovers. I would love to order pizza again from here. 10/10 would recommend.

Our new favourite for pizza! The ingredients are well balanced, it’s rich and thick without being too heavy. I used to go for cheaper pizza, but this has finally convinced me to spend a little more for far better quality. No more Domino’s for me!

Had your pizza a couple weeks ago from the centre street location, and it was by far the best GF pizza ive ever ordered anywhere. Also the beard of zeus pizza was fantastic. Will be ordering again for our sons birthday party this month. And the gentleman working was awesome as well. Thank you

Round two to Bow tie.
This time the pasta had enough sauce and by asking for light cheese on the pizza the toping were allowed to shine through.
And the crust on the pizza was awesome as usual.

My husband LOVES pizza and so we have tried many many many pizza places around Calgary, and Bow Tie (Centre Street) is by far our favourite take-out pizza place. It has the best pizza, great service, and convenient hours.

This place rocks, you get more than enough toppings for a great price. Delicious donair pizza and a pepperoni mushroom and green pepper. Ill be back as its just round the corner from my work. If you have tried this place its a must for great pizza in Calgary.

Just like their location in Mahogany, this location serves FANTASTIC pizza in deep-dish style with super fresh ingredients. The awesome crust with a little browned cheese is so yummy. The staff are also super friendly. You pay a little more for pizza of this caliber but it's REALLY worth it! Highly recommended in the north side of the city.

Really not sure why this place is rated so highly. The crust is bland and feel like there are a ton more superior places to get pizza around the area. Overrated

My husband won a gift card for Bow Tie Pizza and we thought we would try it for the first time last night. The pizza was ok, but when you only taste cheese and not the toppings then it's telling me too much cheese. Our Hawaiian pizza didn't have much for pineapple on it and couldn't even taste it. We also had the chicken bacon ranch which was not too bad. I will say the crust was definitely tasty.
We also ordered one of each of the pastas and they were very dry. They didn't have enough of the sauce on them and if they had a bit more sauce they would have been better.

The pizzas here are pan style pizzas and it was good. I forgot how filled they are so we ended up having a ton of leftovers for our trip.

I order here frequently, excellent pizza. Salads and pasta also amazing. Super friendly staff. I highly recommend them. They are not your typical cheap fast food pizza. This is high quality pizza and worth every penny.

I love the Beard of Zeus. It's such a hearty pizza without being messy or overly heavy. I used to get the All Dressed (also great). Oh and the shop on Center Street is super clean. I have picked up a couple different times and it was super sharp both times. It may seem pricey but eat it and you will forget the bull. Top notch.

Very weird cheese. I don't think it's real cheese. Someone told me it's a blend of flour somehow. Try melting it again. It's strange. It turned into liquid. Lots of toppings. Cheap, low quality, stomach aching toppings. But yeah. Lots of toppings

My all time, hands down favourite place for pizza! The online ordering system is easy to use or you can call in your order to their friendly staff. They have a lot of pizza options with some really interesting flavour combinations. Every time I order I have trouble deciding what to get… the Hawaiian is amazing and they have, in my opinion, the best donair pizza around! The Caesar salad is awesome - a huge portion - 3 of us easily share it with a decent serving all around - and it’s full of bacon and cheese with a vinaigrette type Caesar dressing. The pizza is heavy on the toppings - excellent value for the money. The crust is thick without being heavy and has a nice chew to it. Of course, no one is perfect - we’ve had the occasional error made and the staff is always more than happy to make things right. If you haven’t had Bow Tie Pizza yet you’re missing out!

First time I ordered food it arrived quicker than indicated, was hot and fresh and their delivery person was really friendly. I will order from there again!

Bow Tie pizza opened up on Centre street when we were living in that area and from the very first time we tried it, we were hooked. Their pizza is made with really good quality ingredients and you can tell the sauce is homemade. We have never once been disappointed when we have ordered from Bow Tie and we were super excited when they opened another location close to our new home. In addition to the food being amazing, the service has also been awesome. We are always greeted when we walk in by friendly staff who genuinely seem to appreciate our business:)

Wow first time I ordered very good pizza and garlic cheese bread iam definitely ordering again friendly staff pizza was hot but I do live ten minutes away. A little pricey but after we got the delivery and filled up on 3 pieces price didnt matter. Good job to all your employees!

Bow Tie Pizza is fantastic! We spent probably 15 minutes as a family sitting around the dinner table raving about each pizza we tried and how each one was our favourite. Online ordering was very user friendly and straightforward, the pickup time was accurate for our pizzas being ready! Hot and delicious, the pizzas had a great crispy crust (I ate the crust and I am not a crust eater so that says a lot!) and were tasty and filling, feeling so fresh and filling but not heavy in your stomach.

Featured here are….
•pepperoni, green peppers and mushroom (we asked for no green peppers)
• 4 cheese (feta is a prominent flavour and it was delicious, second day the feta didn’t come through as strong for those who aren’t the biggest fans)
• Donair (great taste and amount of sauce, delicious meat and fresh toppings!)

Tried this for the first time and really liked it - it tastes good, arrived super hot and it is very user-friendly to order online and customize your pizza. The whole family had a different pizza and loved it. I recommend the donair with extra cheese!

Seen this on IG and wanted to try it out and see what's up. First off, they do load up their ingredients on their Zah but I think it can be too much. Got the Beard of Zeus and All dressed up. I find that there was too much feta on the Beard of Zeus. As for the All Dressed up, the pizza sauce, tasted like you pureed a can of tomatoes and added some tomato paste and called it pizza sauce. There's a lot more pizza places in Calgary that's worth your money. I wouldn't be coming back here again.

Not sure how this place has such a high review. I agree with what others have mentioned regarding the cheese not tasting and looking quite right. It even melts weirdly when reheated.

As for the ingredients, the toppings are generous but I'm not liking the quality of some of the meats they use. I really didn't enjoy the "pepperoni" they use as it looks and tastes like bologna. My wife was so put off by it that she threw up after eating a couple pieces.

I also don't recommend getting any of the pizzas with garlic butter listed as an ingredient. Instead of pizza sauce, they substitute garlic butter which really took away from the flavors of the pizza.

On a positive note, I thought the crust tasted decent but the crust really shouldn't be the best part of a slice of pizza in my opinion.

We won't be back.

I just tried Bow Tie Pizza for the first time this week. Well the crust is awesome also requested 'well done'. I had the Meat Lovers 12" and there is an abundance of toppings that make this pretty tasty. However I would have my next pizza unsliced so that it stays warmer and keeps all that goodness inside rather than soaking in the cardboard box. Great attention to perfection from the staff. I will try some of the other pizza to find out my favorite. This is my new alternate to homemade pizza.

Great high end pizza. This is not pizza you settle for when you have the late night munchies, this is pizza you savour on a fancy dine-in date night.

Not only is this easily the best pizza in Calgary, but it also supports local food. Priding themselves on supporting local farmers through buying their meat, cheese, toppings, etc, Bow Tie pizza combines that with amazing taste. There is no better place in the city!

Fantastic pizza! We ordered the Meat Lover’s, Greek Lightning and a Chicken Ranch. All of them were delicious. The crust is soft but crispy on the outside and the toppings were generous. We had a 20 min drive home and the pizzas were still steaming when we got there.

Was in Calgary on the weekend and my sister in law ordered pizza from Bow Tie. Wow what a delicious pizza's. Hopefully they expand to St. Albert Alberta would make a fortune. Love it will get it again when I return.

Our neighbor had mentioned more than once that Bow Tie is his favorite pizza and how much his family enjoys the pizza and the lasagna. Tired of the same pizza choices I placed and order online with Bow Tie. They way I placed my order was not utilizing my best savings. One of the owners called and mentioned that he had chsnged it in order to save money and how to order in the future. The delivery person was very professional and kind as well. Great pizza, loaded with the best ingredients. Pizza has always been ready fast and delivered piping hot. Delivery driver has not gotten lost or need directions any time. Our favourite pizza place.

I’ve only tried this pizza once while at my moms house. I was just hoping there was a location in the sw as I’m looking to order some goood pizza but there’s no location around me. It’s top 5 for me, and I’ve eaten thousands of pizzas. I’m only writing this to let anyone know that it’s a little pricy but VERY GOOD! Enjoy your meal, it’s worth it.

Great pizza! The staff is friendly, and the location is convenient (for me at least). The order was pretty quick to fill to which was nice. The pizza we ordered were a bit unique which was a nice change. They do still have the classics though. Highly recommended! Good job guys.

That was one of the best chicken bacon ranch pizzas I have ever had in my life. Good dispersal of pizza ingredients, it was hot as can be and actually seasoned! Absolutely top tier pizza (on par with Nick's and Atlas). The Mother of Dragons is a great Spicey pizza and their donair pizza is better than Siniores. A must try for any pizza lover.

Pizza tasted amazing and staff were prompt and attentive. Salads tasted fresh and dressing was light and flavourful. Hard to find pizza that great and carries well.

The pizzas we ordered were AMAZING! The sauce is divine, toppings were spread out very generously and the cheese was everywhere. Best pizza we've had in Canada so far!

So good! They were handing out free slices and I literally could not get the pizza off my mind. Ordered a meat lovers and the app took over an hour to deliver it to my house (not the fault of the restaurant!) The pizza is still Amazing we ate the whole thing. I forgot how good pizza can taste. Definitely will order again.

This is one of the best Pizza places in the area! Its a little pricey but they load the toppings on! Got a custom pizza with chicken, bacon, red onion and jalapenos. It must have had like 5 strips of diced bacon on top. Genuine staff, courteous and polite. I live about 2 minutes away and there are about 10 pizza places within the vicinity and I'll always go here.

After reading several positive reviews, I thought I would give them a try, I ordered the bacon and chicken pizza. It arrived and my guest and I were hungry and anxious to dive into it. Both of us found it very disappointing. It was bland and unappetizing. With the tip, it cost us about $35 for the largest size. The delivery guy who was very friendly got lost and had to call for directions, even though we live only a block or two from the restaurant. Not sure if I will give them another try.

I've ordered quite a few things from bow tie and before it was renamed I like that as well you've added a few extra things to the menu the owners are pretty chill. Prices are a little bit higher than normal but then again you get way better Pizza than normal so you got to pay for it give them one more star if I find consistency with not just the food that the overall experience. My boyfriend ordered pizza and a pop from them for me to pick up on my way home from work. I picked it up and they had a minor issue of finding the order. When I got home I was told there was supposed to be a 2L pop with it and the pizza was burnt, they didn't offer me a receipt when I picked it up. We called to let them know and all we got was "sorry we didn't mean too" no further help or offer to fix it. I'm not one one to complain, but some sort of customer service of fixing our burnt pizza would have been nice. The pizza might have been good if it wasn't burnt.

Ahhhhh Bow-Tie.you make a very good vegan pizza. I am someone who likes a thick pizza (Greek style or whatever the hell it's called) and Bow-Tie delivers in this regard. Yes it can get very soggy given the generous toppings however all ya gotta do is order it extra baked and stick it in the oven for 10 minutes once you get home. Yes, my wife says they put on too many onions but hey, pick them off. Also, even though I generally don't like talking to people, the owners are super friendly and I want to and will continue to support them. Only complaint, they got rid of the 2 pizza deal. Come on guys!

This place has a great menu and really friendly, helpful guys working there. Not only do the pizzas have great names, but there are some unique combinations that I've not seen elsewhere. I haven't tried many yet, but I plan to go back and sample more.
Others have mentioned that the sauce is too sweet, and I can understand why, but until I try more items from the menu I won't comment further.
An excellent choice for vegans as they can swap out regular cheese for vegan (Daiya) cheese at no cost. There's even a vegan option right on the menu. They also have gluten free bases.
