Bow Trail Dental Centre - Dentist in SW Calgary

I wanted to leave a review as I had a fantastic experience at my dental checkup today. My hygienist (I think her name is Taryn) demonstrated an exceptional level of care and investment in my dental health. She explained everything very well and recommended new solutions for ongoing issues. She is also a lovely person to interact with! I would highly recommend Bow Trail Dental as I've always had good experiences with their team.

I had an outstanding experience at Bow Trail Dental! Their team provided top-notch cleaning, filling, and dental consultation services. What truly stood out was their attention to creating a safe and playful environment for my toddler while I received treatment. The staff was incredibly friendly, and they made my entire family feel at ease. I highly recommend Bow Trail Dental for their excellent dental care and family-friendly atmosphere!

I had a great experience at the dental clinic where I received a thorough cleaning and examination. I was extremely satisfied with the results.

I responded to the ad they posted online and I recieved a call back to make an appointment. I was given to the receptionist who was about to book my appointnent I requested for October and she gave me one date then she placed me on hold then it seemed like she forgot about me after that because she never got back on the phone so I hung up. They never called me back to book so its pretty clear bye Bow Trail Dental sorry I couldn't be your patient.

Dr. Wong and his team are beyond amazing. They are informative, patient, and make their patients feel calm and at ease from the moment you walk in to the end of your appointment. Any after cere is explained in detail so there isn’t any confusion or anxiety afterwards. The clinic itself is extremely clean, bright, and comfortable. You can’t go wrong with seeing Dr. Wong. My family is grateful for him!

By far one of the best, i had trouble with my teeth my whole life but i just had alot of work done by these guys and all i have to say is WOW

The service here is fine; the staff is friendly however I had a problem on my last visit. I was between jobs and without benefits I let the receptionist know I would be paying out of pocket. During my cleaning I was introduced to a new dentist. She looked in my mouth said hello I was charged over a hundred dollars. The follow up appoint rating I gave them a 5 out of 10. No one bothered to ask why. I think dentists should only be allowed to charged what the Canadian Dental Association allows for a procedure or the insurance company will pay out. I will not return to this Dentist. The fees are way too high. Anyone can run a business if they keep increasing the fees they charge. Or make up excuses to charge patients or bill insurance companies.

Dr. Wong was the third dentist I've seen in under a year. He was by far the most extensive and informative. Previous dentists rushed through the damage of my teeth and basically told me I just had a few fillings to get fixed. Dr. Wong went through the damage and treatment plan clearly and concisely.
Instead of just explaining everything verbally and going off x-rays, he showed me diagrams and clear pictures of my teeth. Now I have a greater understanding and a clear path forward of what needs to be done to prevent further damage and fix what we can.
The dental office is beautiful and VERY clean. This should be a standard, but in comparison to several clinics in YYC - Bow Trail Dental is above and beyond. As a patient, the cleanliness provides a sense of comfort.
All of the staff are welcoming and treat you like a friend. The dental assistant whom I had, Chance, was personable and provided a feeling of safety right away.
Usually dental visits make me nervous, but I'm actually looking forward to my next appointment and to start my treatment.

. Also can't wait to get my teeth cleaned by Taryn, I've heard she's the best!

I went to this clinic for the first time today and it was honestly one of the best experiences I have ever had at a dental office, I generally have bad anxiety about going to the dentist as a whole but today was different.

Aryka was my dental assistant today during my examination and she was incredible, she helped relieve all of the anxiety I felt and was quite honestly just the best anyone could ever have.

The experience as a whole was just splendid and everything that they talked about they explained to me very thoroughly and very well. Both her and Dr. Serena are incredible and I never thought I’d say this but I can’t wait for my next appointment!

This is an excellent place to go for dental care. They were very professional in each examination and provision of solutions based on priority.

Very competent staff! Friendly and pleasant to talk to. The office is clean and hygienic which is very important to me. They go out of their way to help! Thankyou to all the staff!

Very knowledgeable and thorough dentist. The office is very transparent about procedures and options. Very friendly and welcoming environment.

I have give 4 stars yet as I don't know how my treatment plan going to look like. But from the first time I book this Dental office I think I make the right choice.

Aryka and Dr. Wong are very patiently listen to my story and give me suggestion and a long term plan to repair my teeth. And the whole experience with Dr. Wong's professionalism do give me a lot of support that i can trust him in long term.

is the approach of Dr.to solve the client's problem in the most optimal way.

Dentist and Assistant were really amazing to me during my dental procedure, very gentle and caring. Would highly recommend their services.

I’ve been to dental clinics in the past for a cleaning and left with extremely sore teeth with pain lasting a whole day. That didn’t make me want to return but this dental clinic is different. The wonderful team at Bow Trail Dental helped get me in super quickly for an emergency appointment when my filling chipped after my family dentist that I have been going to for 20+ years couldn't fit me in! Dr. Wong is so kind and really knows his stuff! Mya is also amazing and super knowledgeable about insurance and any other questions I had! This dental clinic is the most thorough and informative dentist I’ve ever experienced. Moreover, the staff is very nice and helpful. They do a good job of explaining things and are detail oriented.

Hello, This is the BEST dentist in the S. W. Dr Wong and everyone that works here, really care. Even if your a little nervous. They will make you feel better with their humor, and it really helps to relax. Im telling you all, the injections go so fast. You don't realize it's finished. I recommend everyone to see for themselves and you only need to go once. You will have the best experience with Dr Wong and the associates. That you will be 100 percent satisfied. I found Dr. Wong, the hygienists and staff to be friendly. Dr. Wong thoughtfully and clearly explained any details concerning my oral health.

My special needs SIL went in for cleaning and she was lucky to get Christina as her Dental Hygienist. She has 12 years experience and she found my SIL a challenge. Christina was very patience but tough when needed. My SIL had a very good experience and hopes she will be able to have Christina as her hygienist again

Dr. Wong and his entire dental team are very pleasant and professional. My dental appointments have been really great so far. Even my 6 year old son, who hates going to doctors etc because he feels that he will have to get an injection, asked me when is he going back to the dentist. Apparently he liked the experience. I give them 5 out of 5 stars and will recommend them to anyone.

Super friendly. No pressures. Great environment. We have been going to Bow Trail Dental for a few years and we have since moved. They too have moved, but we are willing to drive because we are happy with the service.

If you're looking for a great dental clinic in the SW of Calgary, look no further than Bow Trail Dental. The staff are knowledgeable and also enjoy what they do. They're also very accommodating and really helpful too. Dr Wong has a very calming presence and will talk you through the treatment process and answer any questions you have. Khadija, Ashley, April and Natasha (I've had the most interaction with them) are really nice people that made my visit very pleasant. Did I mention they have state of the art equipment!?

Staff and dental assistants are very friendly and try to make you comfortable. Yet to get any dental work done so no opinion on that yet.

It was a wonderful visit right from the very beginning. The entire team was friendly, knowledgeable and made me feel comfortable. The office was clean and inviting. Dr. Wong was friendly, attentive and you can tell he genuinely cares. I don’t think I’ve ever smiled this much AT the dentist - I’m actually excited for my next visit! The newly opened location is fresh and inviting. Plenty of space for clientele to sit in reception.plus the clinic area is pristine. Dr. Wong and his staff are inviting and accomodating. I recently had a crown procedure and had a temporary cap put on an anchoring tooth, This cap came off the next day. They scheduled me in as soon as possible. That also fell out. So when it came time for the final procedure. I was in a little pain and quite cranky. I told them this when I asked how I was. All the staff were concerned by that. Once Dr. Wong saw me his assistant and himself were extremely professional. By the end I was extremely HAPPY with my crown procedure. Actually I was overjoyed. They are awesome! My whole family see's Dr. Wong and we could not be happier. Thank you Bow trail Dental team keep up the good work.

Dr. Sean Wong and his team are one of the best dentist in Calgary based on my experience. He is knowledgeable and very detail oriented, high level of patience, good listener, answer to all of my questions, organized, and I found him special skill in root cause analysis of teeth problems. He has experience, knowledge and fantastic dexterity skill. I am going to this center since 2012 with my family. Hopefully, in their new location, they have more space to serve people better. Having Dr. Wong and his team are asset and value for Calgary city for sure. Thanks to him and Ashly for their professional services for my recent tooth operation during these hard COVID-19 days.

Dr. Sean Wong is an excellent dentist and his staff are very friendly. I am an unlucky soul that frequently requires fillings. He is the first dentist I've had that makes the process fairly painless. I also find his prices to be reasonable which is hard to find in Alberta. Highly recommend.

(prob everybody's) Natural State when you Hear a dentist Drill in background and Knowing that Whatever You are having done is probably not going to be pleasant.but I noticed I was surprisingly At Ease. And the wait to get My Hygiene & Consult started was almost Immediate.before I knew it.

Dr Wong is one of the most detailed and gentle dentists I’ve ever had. So kind, explains things, makes it interesting to learn. He won’t do bad quality work. I needed an inlay. He wasn’t happy with how it came back from the lab.so yes, I had to go back BUT he doesn’t settle for second rate dentistry. His team is efficient and friendly! SO GLAD I SWITCHED!

You could not ask for a better dentist! I have enjoyed pretty good dental care all of my life, but Dr. Sean Wong has been my favourite dentist of all. I followed him after he left his previous dental practice in order establish his own dental office. He is skilled, knowledgeable and a very pleasant & gentle dentist.

All my trips to the clinic has been great.the doctor takes great interest in all my dental works, the hygienist and the receptionists are all polite and helpful.

Myself and my daughter have been with Bow trail dental for about 4 years. We both think the hygienists are so friendly and efficient. Dr. Wong is very knowledgeable and patient, he takes the time to listen concerns and answers questions thoroughly.

Dr. Wong was phenomenal. He was extremely educated, genuinely cared about me and how I was feeling before, during and after the whole process. He showed me step by step what was going on during my fillings and made sure I genuinely understood everything and how to prevent it from happening again in the future. He really excelled in making sure I was comfortable and making sure my health and dental hygiene was taken care of properly and in a timely fashion. I really enjoyed how he didn't speak to his hygienists and dental assistants like they were any lower than him as I've seen in many other dental practices, he worked with them as a team and talked to them with respect. All the staff was incredibly friendly, also well educated and did an amazing job! I would highly recommend Dr. Wong and his staff to anyone looking for affordable and incredible dental work. I also want to add in that the reception is fantastic there and they work well with you and your schedule, there was no hassle with financial concerns, benefits or anything which was awesome!

I have been twice to see Dr Wong in the past two years and each time have been really happy with the service, care, professionalism, and value. Most recently I went in with two broken front teeth from an accident, and Dr Wong worked with me to find a sensible, affordable solution AND he built two beautiful new front teeth for me, I'm so happy!

My family has been going to Dr Wong for several years, and we have always appreciated him and his staff. The hygienists are always friendly and sensitive, and Dr Wong takes a lot of time to educate me on what is going on with my teeth- showing pictures, giving options, and never suggesting treatment unless he feels like it is truly necessary. This is far beyond the experience I have had with other dentists. I was particularly touched when, during quarantine, I broke a tooth and phoned/emailed the office in a panic. They were closed because of the Easter weekend, but Dr Wong called me from home on Easter Sunday to check in on me, and let me know that they would treat me as soon as they were allowed to by the College of Dentists. I would highly recommend this office. They go above and beyond.

Dr. Wong and his team at Bow Trail Dental are by far the best dental centre I’ve been a patient of in my 29 years on this Earth (and I’ve spent many hours in various dental chairs with broken teeth, braces, crowns, wisdom extractions, etc.). Everyone in the office is kind, knowledgeable, informative and super personable. Melba is hands down the greatest hygienist ever!
