I cannot recommend Dr. PK and Carly enough. Complete professionals. By far and away the best dentist and best hygienist I've ever had. Downtown parking is a pain.but totally worth it! Do yourself a favour, go here!

I had a tooth extraction. I found the staff very courteous and friendly. Dr. Keith Nielsen was very knowledgeable and kind and made me feel at ease. I would highly recommend this dental clinic and Dr. Keith Nielsen. The premises is very clean and the staff very pleasant.

If I could leave a 0 I would. I had left the appointment incredibly happy and about +90% certain I was going to go with this clinic for a cosmetic procedure after my FREE consultation until I left.

I was told it was FREE upon booking, I was told it was complimentary upon checking in, it was repeated by the other receptionist who said ‘there’s no charge it’s a consultation’ even at the end but they still charged me for my FREE consultation.

I tried to be as polite as possible, despite being annoyed, and communicated I was informed it was complimentary I hopes they would rectify this situation but receptionist says oh that’s only for one very specific example. Because we had to do an ‘assessment’ for your consultation there’s a fee - isn’t that the entire point of a consultation that you need to do a proper assessment to give an appropriate quote?

Made me feel used and like it was just a cash grab. I hope the $80 was worth the 10k I was about to spend but will opt to invest elsewhere. Not sure if it was the dentist or the receptionist, or a miscommunication or all of it.

Hopefully the clinic takes this chance to contact me apologize but left a very bad taste in my mouth - no pun intended.

Update: The office called back and apologized that day and issued a refund. I appreciate the effort as they could’ve easily ignored it but opted to try and fix the situation. I think that deserves acknowledgement as mistakes are prone to always happen and I’m glad they got in touch.

This is the best dentist I have ever been to. Dr. Nielsen is the most knowledgeable and gentle dentist. He picked up on the smallest issues that were causing problems for me. The staff is always super friendly and great to deal with as well.

Got my teeth cleaned and since I have a pace maker it was all done manually. No ultra sound. Everything was done efficiently and thoroughly. Very pleased with work done.

Always an amazing experience from the time you book, till the time you arrive and are greeted, and through the entire procedure. Very friendly and welcoming staff. Plus your parking is free! I highly recommend that if you dont have a dentist, or if you are not happy with your current dentist to come here. A+

Dr Keith and the staff are very good. Worked with me to come up with affordable options for my dental care, due to not currently having insurance.
I have been coming here for +15 years, so that says something.

The staff were very friendly and welcoming (as always) and explained the protocols in place due to COVID-19 very clearly. I appreciated that they took the time to explain the change in regular procedures.

As always, professional, courteous and efficient. Full AHS COVID protocols are in place and I have no concerns from visiting their office.

From start to finish of each appointment, best dental team and results I have ever had! They helped me and advocated for my whole care plan through a difficult time with an accident and some fractured teeth.

I moved to this dentist mainly because my office moved, but the upside is the people from dentist to technician to hygienist all were a level up in service from what I was used to previously.

Bow Valley Dental is wonderful. PK has been my dentist for 21 years and I just feel so comfortable coming to get an dental work done. All the hygienists do those very best with making me feel comfortable, Bow Valley Dental is by far the best places to come for dentistry. I have recommended them to other, my other family members come here, I just think they are wonderful at their jobs.

Gave me a quote (when I asked) for $175 to have a temporary filling replaced with a permanent one. Very simple procedure. After the procedure when I got to the front desk my bill was $220 with a $40 charge for an "exam" which I guess was the cost of the dentist looking at the work he had to do, and take a couple of digital pictures to show me? Completely unforeseen charge, I was at no time made aware that it was extra money. My group benefits would not cover this exam charge as it was deemed unnecessary. I completely agree! I don't appreciate extra charges snuck in like that therefore I will not be back and will make sure I let other people in my office know and understand the business practices of Bow Valley Dental.
