Bower Dental Centre

I had called to book an appointment with bower dental and they had me in the chair for my broken tooth just 29 hours later. I was beyond relieved that they could make extra time so quickly to treat my tooth. The entire process was painless after the freezing needles that is. Great staff and friendly.

My teeth have been in the hands of Bower Dental for over 20 years with Dr. Der being my primary dentist for at least the last 15. In addition to his technical skills, I always appreciate his consistent "are you okay? " inquiries as he attends to the task at hand (or in this case, mouth)! From the warm greeting at reception to the stellar billing support at the end of the appointment, my experience at Bower Dental is always top notch.

Dan is a fantastic dental hygienist!

In for another cleaning with Dan - he continues to be outstanding in his approach and methods. Very gentle with my sensitive gums.

Dr. Der provided a check and made note of some older fillings that are starting to fail. Prevention now will help me avoid more advanced remedies in the future. He genuinely cares and works hard to help many.

Front reception team also provide exceptional support.

Always a great experience with Bower Dental. The staff are absolutely amazing with paediatrics and adults alike. Everyone is friendly, patient, and explains procedures thoroughly so there is no guessing. Dental and front staff are kind cannot recommend this dental practice enough! Best in Red Deer in my opinion.

I love to go to bower dental center they always care about their patients, they did a great job on my teeth and most of all they are very friendly and helpful especially Stephanie who did my tooth cleaning she’s very friendly and amazing? And one more thing I want to thank as well the receptionist who answered my call this morning just this morning March 17-23 cuz I had a silly question that I wasn’t sure about, but she was very kind and patience answering my question?

Not everyone enjoys going to the dentist but this clinic has marvelous people working in it and I had another great experience. Thank you.

I was impressed by the fact that they were able to get me in pretty fast, so I gave them two stars. They lost three because they eagerly took money for the visit, but spent most of the time trying to convince me, to get fillings, clean my teeth, fix some broken ones, to have more frequent regular dentist appointments-which they were more than happy to book for cleaning, blah, blah blah, but I still stand firm, my teeth, I said! Need to come out, as I hold my dentures in my hand, and walked out of their office.none the wiser And still sad that no one will help me and I am being referred to Calgary or Edmonton. The dentist I saw was too young and had no, absolutely no experience, yet! Wasted my time, wasted the money for the same talked that I had for the last two dentists. Booooooo

Everyone was so kind, professional and understanding of my anxiety! Dr Yiu and Mrs. Cote as well as the lovely x-Ray tech and front office staff were simply the BEST! Thank you!

Since 2019, I’ve been with Bower Dental Clinic for all my dental check-ups, cleaning & all. The staff are amazing, very accommodating & everyone works there with a smile.

Wow! Best cleaning. I get the numbing gel and she’s always gracious about my being a baby.

The first dentist i saw did not even introduce himself to me. Then he sat where i could not even make eye contact with him unless i fully turned my upper body. Then when i voiced concerns about root canals he immediately told me it was misinformation. Did not explain why. The 2nd dentist was aggressive about my Root Canal questions.

Root canals are a controversial treatment i wanted information to make my best decision. I am so tired of the arrogance of some health professionals. I will not be going back.

From the assistant to Dentist they are amazing and did a great job. Im happy with the service. I highly recommend this place. Thank you for your excellent service.

Both Dr. Der and hygienist Leo were amazing. In 50 years of receiving dental care Leo (i am pretty sure that was his name.i hope i got his name right) is by far the best I have encountered. He takes the scare and nervousness right out of the experience with his amazing sense of humor and gentle care. Thank you for making the whole dental experience actually enjoyable!

I needed to get in to see a dentist fast, they were very accommodating, saw Dr khalid, he was very knowledgeable, friendly and kind. I will be returning there for any more dental needs.

I had a good filling today to fix a chipped tooth. I have been seeing Dr. Zuk Sr. & Staff for many years! I loved his gentle touch dentistry! Now I have the pleasure of having his son, Dr. Zuk Jr, as my dentist!

I appreciate Dr. Der's professionalism and caring attitude to go along with his expertise.

Staff have been super friendly & professional. I'm on social assistance & no one has made me feel less than.they get all work pre-approved to make sure there are no extra costs as I have no $ right now.
First appointment was emergency & they took me same day. They send reminder & confirmation texts & e-mails before appointments, & feedback surveys after. Just had cavities filled & they had this clear mouth guard with suction attached that you keep in your mouth the whole time.it made the experience so comfortable! Usually I would be trying to keep my mouth open wide & move my tongue out of the way, while feeling like I'm going to choke on too much build up of saliva & water.not this time! I was so comfortable with this suction mouth piece I almost fell asleep & when they said they were already finished I was taken by surprise.

I wanted to ensure that Stephanie, the hygienist who performed my recent cleaning, was recognized for a wonderful experience. As a rule, I don't enjoy the cleaning procedure (both during and especially post-cleaning) due to tooth and gum sensitivity.

This was the first time that I had seen her; she did a super job, but more importantly, it was pain-free with zero discomfort afterward.

I have been a client with Dr. Zuk and Dr. Zuk for many years now. Their team is efficient, personable and they display their expertise with every visit. They have been great, as my kids and I navigate dental challenges and we will continue to refer others to them.

Leo did a great job at cleaning my teeth comfortably and without pain. Dr Zuk, as usual is friendly and professional.

Bev was great, one of the best dental technicians I ever had work on my teeth. Very knowledgeable and gives great advice, to put a person at ease about dental care.

I didn't appreciate my son getting tortured for his appointment by the hygenist. Unacceptable. We've never had such a bad experience at Bower Dental before.

I would like to firstly Thank the ladies at the front desk for being amazing. I was devastated walking out from the back after being told by Leo/ Leon my hygienist, that I didn’t have good enough insurance for him to clean my teeth. He proceeded to show this paper saying … this is what I charge … Now let me tell you. I walked out of there embarrassed that I was not good enough to sit in his chair and get my teeth cleaned. My family uses this clinic because of the great customer service from Dr Mah and his amazing staff. We have had amazing medical coverage over the years, and not so great at other times. I should not have been made to feel like a loser over my current circumstances. Again thank you to the ladies at the front, for helping me tonight.

Staff is prompt, kind and friendly! I received Botox in my jaw for clenching my jaw/headaches and I have had great results! Thanks so much

i called before was told they direct billed went for my appt they were quite rude when i asked what they were doing because i just wanted to know, then come to paying the bill i get told their new employee isn’t in there system yet SO THEY HAVE TO MAIL IT TO MY BENEFITS COMPANY LIKE ARE YOU KIDDING
i should have been told on the phone and before my appointment began shady and frustrated now i’m going to have to pay the remainder when they call me extremely unprofessional
ladies that told me this after appointment were rude when i asked for an explanation too

I've been going to Bower Dental since I was a kid myself.
I've always liked the atmosphere and how so many of the staff are ones I've known for years as well.
They're great and I'd highly recommend them!

Dr. Mah is friendly, knowledgeable, and made me feel comfortable about the dental work I needed to have done. The hygienist named Anita was so nice and also made the experience pleasant. The front end staff were quick and efficient about seeing what my benefits would cover and I appreciated their work in doing so. I would highly recommend this clinic.

Dr. Hussein Bapoo does fantastic work. Great set up. Definitely recommend going here to get your smiles worked on.

Dr Mah from Bower Dental performed an unwanted Root Canal that failed & caused me severe, excruciating pain & discomfort for almost a wk, later developed an infection. It's affected other areas in my mouth. Dr Mah also performed a second procedure at the same time without prior consent or approval. I have a partial tooth embedded in my gum area because of that Root Canal which has caused me numerous & ongoing problems which Bower Dental & Dr Mah refuse to accept wrongdoing & negligence they caused me, not to mention the pain & suffering I endured because of that Root Canal. This was the worst Dental Experience & Treatment that I've ever had.

I've been going here seeing Dr. Choi for a few weeks now and will be seeing him for many more appointments to get all I need done, done. He is excellent at what he does. He's very friendly and understanding, and has helped me find the best treatment options for my problems. The front staff and RDA's are also all very friendly and helpful! I highly recommend this dentist office!

I have always been impressed with the care and work I receive at this dental office, and one of the biggest pluses is that there’s never been any pain.

Today was my first cleaning by Jeric and I was very impressed. This is the first time my cleaning was mostly done with a water pic style device and some clean up with the pics. A lot more comfortable experience. I have booked another cleaning with Jeric in June

Dr. Mah is the best! Jeric cleaned my teeth and I was very impressed. He was very friendly and informative. He did an thorough job with a gentle touch. I will definitely have him clean my teeth again.

I love Bower Dental. I landed there by chance. I had a toothache & they were the first ones with an available appointment. Since then they’ve built me a new bridge, given me a couple of fillings & fixed broken teeth. Today was my first cleaning in ages, Deb was my hygienist & she’s amazing. She explained step by step what she was doing & was very patient with my extensive questions. Dr Der is my dentist & he’s literally the first dentist ever that I’ve trusted. He’s so gentle! I had a bad experience as a child where my dentist struck a nerve, Dr Der knows my fears & he too has been beyond patient with me. I can’t say enough good things. I’m still nervous to go, but I’m confident I’m getting the best care ever! Thank you for looking after my smile

I recently started seeing Dr. Choi and I am so happy. He is friendly, easy to understand, and takes the time to explain everything he is doing. He is kind, and honest and even cracks some jokes along the way. Bower dental is always clean, friendly and easy to deal with. I am happy to get my dental work done here.

Always excellent customer service at Bower Dental. Sometimes the rates concern me but I think they are this high anywhere.

Open late to fit all schedules. I work away and have had zero issues making appointments work! The staff has all been really easy going and nice to talk too making going to the dentist a nice and easy experience!

At my appointment time I was greeted by dental assistant Shauna. Shauna has a way of making a person relaxed. She’s super positive and her mannerisms make a person gravitate towards her. I definitely felt special and cared for in the dentist chair and during my x-ray.

Dr Baboo similarly has a great seatside manner. Very easy to talk to and he has an awesome sense of humour. He thoroughly explained the ins and outs of the dental procedure I am about to embark on. He answered my questions clearly.

The young lady at the front desk was also thorough in booking my surgery dates, explaining how my insurance coverage would work and how much the entire procedure would cost.

All in all my appointment couldn’t have gone better. I rank everyone a 10 out of 10

Awesome service. I was having extreme pain in my tooth, they booked me for an appointment next week and about 5 minutes after getting off the phone they called me back saying they found some room to get me in today.super awesome to deal with and very friendly.

The cleaning and the check up were good. However the plates they used for an impression of my teeth left me cut and bleeding.

Not happy this time; my appointment was for a cleaning and check up, and half way through the cleaning I was told that they won’t have enough time to finish and I have to come another day to finish it off. I have the impression that they don’t value my time. I have to take twice time from work for something that could be done with one visit.

Great service and excellent staff. I go in there knowing that I am not going to be in any pain during or after the work is complete. Thanks again.
