Used to love this mall then they hired all these douchy security guards who act as if they are cops. There is a difference between not wanting to wear and mask and physically not being able to. Im far from an anti masker and anti vaxxer. But then i get asked for medical proof for not being able to wear a mask? This is by far unacceptable for them to ask for my personal medical proof. Absolutely disappointed.
On 10-14-21, I was denied seating as a security guard asked for my medical information in violation of Canadian law. No matter what side of the debate you are on, allowing segregation will lead to more overreach. Fight back, do not shop here.
The security at this mall is very rude and likes to pretend they are cops. My mother in law was banned from the mall for a year for feeding my 2 year old daughter a pretzel by the Christmas tree. I've lived in Red Deer area for ten years and I will no longer shop in this mall. Our Family dentist is here and we will be switching to one outside the mall
Very nice and relaxing mall with a western theme. Sushi and crepes are my favorite at the food court. Very clean and large toilets facilities. Sunterra new store.
Mall is still really nice, Clean. I see security has not changed much. Creepy jo is still there still rude as ever and does more flirting then working. Nice to see more options down at the bay side.
Great mall and great selection of stores to choose from as well. Foodcourt has great options as well for everyone and eveeykind of meal from snack to supper
Very rude security staff, will berate you if you even think about riding your board NEAR the mall. Steer clear if your not 30+ or you'll get people staring at you
Good places to park everything people need, and me been thinking one night that could be great place among near midnight to help teach the girlfriend to drive my big truck.
The food court has a wide selection and a nice seating arraignment. Sit by the fire place and enjoy your lunch. The mall is a great place to do your shopping and find all kinds of interesting things.
This is the mall to go to in Red Deer. Great clothing stores and food kiosks/court. And I LOVE that Sears is not longer at this mall, or anywhere for that matter!
It appears to be undergoing alot of construction presently and the overall local economy seems to be impacting the store quality and availability in the Mall. Hopefully the construction/renovations lead to some re-invigoration to the availability and offerings here.
One of the few malls that still seems to be filled with shops and not completely dying, while not using an amusement park, waterpark, etc.as a way to keep people coming. The selection of stores is broad and can meet most any need/interest.
I have no problem with the shops in the mall.my beef with this place is the recent renovations to the washrooms at the food court!
Why in the world would the mall choose to do this during a cold snap where temperatures are -30 or even -40, and only provide outhouses for guests!? Could they not have at least done one washroom at a time, so as not to be a major inconvenience!? How about the sign at the renovation site informing us that the temporary bathrooms are outhouses!?
This arrangement was not ideal for myself, and completely inappropriate for my toddler aged daughter. Thankfully we were able to make it to the bathroom in ToysRUs in the nick of time!
I hope the mall will use the criticism from myself, as well as other patrons, to avoid shortsighted moves such as this in the future.
Fun place to shop the indoor market is a super cool addition. The major problem currently is the bathrooms are porta potties. When i spend money at a mall I dont expect to go outside in minus 20 weather to use a bathroom.
Always have good shopping experiences here. Lots of seating areas, good choice of stores, and food court has great variety as well. Looking forward to construction being finished on the one wing. Parking is always a challenge and it is especially bad at the moment with so much parking being taken up by the construction zone.
A great local mall in Red Deer. There are lots of great stores including Sephora, Toys R Us, Lululemon and Hudson's Bay. The mall is also adding new stores with an expansion. Overall a great mall with loads of shops. The location is quite central and there is tons of parking.
As a mall customer, how do you expect everybody to use your portalet outside when it is snowing and wind blows so harsh? Seriously? Out in the cold? !? And yet the family washroom inside can be used by male but not the by a female nor by those ladies without a child? !? You might wanna rush the renovation of the washroom so customers of all your tenants will not be dismayed with this season-long situation and might decide not to come to mall anymore unless washroom is ready.
