The service and staff are incredible. I found the staff to be super helpful in directing us to the options available, they were understanding, and willing to help. Plus, they helped load the appliance into the truck (delivery is also an option) and were considerate of our time. Definitely worth a visit if you are looking for new or new to you appliances.

It was a pleasure to deal with Sunny and Casey at this store. We found a suitable new fridge within minutes, and it was about $450 cheaper (three minor dents) than Home Depot and we had it delivered the next day.
The delivery guys were professional, friendly and extremely competent.

Explained to her that I'm making a homemade smoker and wanted some refurbished stove top elements and hardware. She gave it all to me for free! I know where to go if I need to purchase an appliance with great customer service.

We bought our current washer and dryer years ago and had wonderful customer service then so when our dryer just stopped heating up. I went on YouTube found out about the problem and called Bowest for the part it needed. Kash was very helpful with finding the part and when I picked it up they gave it to me at no charge. Always a great place to get Appliances.

Great spot for a good deal on appliances. Staff is very helpful and they do their best to help you out. This was my first experience here and there was some turmoil but the lady that helped me did her best and I appreciated it. I'll be back.

Too much price comparing to their products. I would get way better products from the showrooms like Bestbuy / Lowes / Homedepot etc.

I called and was told they had a certain used fridge in stock but when I went there it turned out to be the wrong size. They offered me a good deal on a new scratch n dent fridge to make things right foot me

Prices were complete retail, salesperson had no idea what the specs of a machine were, pricing posted could be discounted a bit however they charge for delivery. Overall it's more expensive to buy here than buy new from one of the majors. Do Not Recommend.

One of the highest volume appliance local chains in Calgary. They specialize in overstock, scratch and dent and specialist appliances such as for rentals and commercial. Always make sure you stop in when appliance shopping, their offerings change daily, pricing and service top notch.

The service was great, staff was friendly and knowledgeable and they have a lot of great deals on appliances. I highly recommend this store if your are in the market for well priced appliances.

Needed an oven ASAP and after calling several other stores (Home Depot, Leon’s, Trail Appliances, etc.) I went with Bow West due to their excellent customer service and fair pricing. I dealt with Ronan who was helpful and very knowledgeable. He was able to answer all my questions from “How much? ” to “Will it fit in my Jeep? ”. He even went above and beyond to help me load it into my truck because I was by myself. We will be back to Bow West again for any new appliances. Thank you Ronan!

Stopped in here to price out some appliances. Staff was very friendly, welcoming and quick to assist without being pushy. Products were priced fair due to small nicks and scratches. You can also get parts which is handy, especially if you are able to install them yourself. They had a large variety of brands and lots to choose from. Overall, I recommend this place if you are in the market for a cheaper alternative to full priced appliances.

The staff at Bowest were very helpful and friendly. Brought in my microwave that was not working (had to slam door for it to turn on). Bowest was able to fix it the next morning and charged 30 min of labor. Thank you!

I buy parts from only two places in town and Bow West is one of them. The reasons are simple. Besides besides being local, I did not get the excuse that covid is slowing down everything and parts from China are slow. I know that but April and Cecelia (?) did not give that excuse. Instead they went out and found the part I needed at another dealer and brought it in for me. They did experience a delay but when I spoke to April and Casey, they were super sweet and explained and then made the extra effort. They also offered the part for free due to the delay. It was only a couple weeks and while the offer was very genuine I would not fault them in the least and did pay them at least part of the cost. I would go back. I have purchased appliances in the past and again never an issue. Basically, a company is made by the culture of the employees. If it is anything like the three women I dealt with, then go there and give them a try. Certainly you won't find their service at any of the big grey box stores.

Disappointing, During this covid Pandemic, I was not wanting to to do "Window shopping " and so went onto the website to view offering and chatted with the agent online, explained what I was looking for and asked what location would be best for the fridge I was looking for in terms of a selection. So armed with that info I went to the Agent- suggested location, to my surprise after being told by the agent that my location I picked would have the best selection etc.there was a Total of 1 fridge to look at. Not cool and and a waste of my time as well as having to deal with Covid concerns going into that location. So tell me that either A- the agent really has no clue on what inventory is like at locations or B- just wanted to get us in the door to make a sale. I left upset and disappointed and went elsewhere and picked up a fridge in 5 minutes.lost a potential customer for now and the future Bowest.

Went to replace my 40+ year old stove. I knew what parts it required but wanted a newer stove. I saw a perfect replacement yesterday but today it was on hold for pickup tomorrow by someone else. Casey helped me out and took my name and number in case it wasn't picked up she would call me. Casey also said she would give me an additional discount if it wasn't picked up. In the mean time, she supplied me with used parts, free of charge, to repair my old stove. Still want a newer stove but at least mine is functional again. Great customer service.

Initially we were very happy with the service and price of the high end Kitchenaid Fridge that we purchased, however it is now less than 2 years old and it has completely stopped working. We purchased the only warranty that Bowest offered. Apparently, it is the "cheap" warranty and they got a large commission for selling it. We are now on day 7 still waiting for a repairman to come and look at the fridge in the middle of the summer heat. This is completely unacceptable with a purchased extended warranty. Kitchenaid/Whirlpool told us that the warranty doesn't pay for rush service and several technicians turned the service down. If you purchase an extended warranty - which you should since nothing lasts no matter what you pay - only purchase the warranty from the manufacturing company. We would not recommend purchasing an appliance from Bowest because of this.

We needed something big and sturdy for our staff and residents and the new LG washer and dryer exceeded our expectations! I would strongly tell people to stay away from Bowest appliances. They sold and delivered a stove that was defective. They delivered and installed the appliance so there was no negligence on my part. The VERY FIRST time that I tried the cook top, it didn’t work. I would have tried it while their service guys were there but I was told to wait as the appliance needed to reach room temperature to avoid cracking the appliance. Anyways, DESPITE the fact that their website claims that you can purchase dependable thoroughly tested appliances that you can buy with confidence, they WILL NOT come and pick up the appliance that they sold which doesn’t work. I am forced to go through the manufacturer for a NEW appliance. Buying at any other store or even through kijiji is far more dependable. Any other store would exchange a faulty appliance or deal with the manufacturer themselves. If you want an appliance that doesn’t work then check out bowest or better yet, just go to the dump. If I could give them zero stars, I would!

Don’t shop at this den of thieves. Purchased a dead on arrival appliance, but the the last thing you will ever hear from the sales person is that they will not exchange or refund even if DOA. This information is however printed on the receipt which is handed to you after They have taken your money.

The third time we have bought from Bowest, always had prompt excellent service with short waits in delivery times.

We came in looking to buy a stove. Found the exact one we wanted from bestbuy yet it was marked up 500 dollar more than brand new. We questioned they dropped it to 200 less than brand new price. Yet it had massive dent on side.

No deals here. Just ripoffs. Stay away.

My boyfriend and I went to this location after going to the Bowness location, we were in need of a washer and dryer for our little house. The lady at Bowness location told us that we could get two for about $500, but they didn't have a pair in the shop at the time. She suggested to go to this location as the stock is bigger. After organizing rides and money, as we come from Cochrane, the girls had said that the lady at the bowness location was incorrect, BUT they kept her word and gave us a washer and dryer around our price limit/what we were told! The staff was very helpful and understood that we came from Cochrane and it was a trip for us, so they made it happen that day. That was about 6 months ago, and the washer/dryer has been working just fine! They fit perfectly and haven't had any issues. It was a very good experience for us, especially keeping their word and not having to come back:) Cheers!

I have purchased several appliances here over the last few years and their prices and service is top notch.

Staff was very helpful, I got a great deal, delivery was done quickly & efficiently (and on-time!). I can't even claim credit for my bargaining, as the discounted price the rep named was too low to argue with.
One star off as I wasn't aware until after the purchase was made that all sales are FINAL - if the appliance never even turns on, you go to the manufacturer, not Bowest (if I'd've known that, I would have asked to plug the unit in before purchase, though I have no idea what their policies on that are). Delivery was also quite minimalist, leaving me to unwrap shelves etc (I think I'll need to level the fridge, too), though I'm not sure if that was standard procedure, or if they were bowing to the bad weather at the time.tl;dr: highly recommended, but know before you go wrt their policies.

Great deals and options to pick from. Ashley helped us and she is awesome. Great customer service! They delivered our fridge during the 1 hr window the gave us, came in took our old fridge and install the new one, within minutes. Will be back for sure anytime we need!

Great place to buy from if you get the right staff. We have bought from here before and the nicest guy helped us. We just went now and asked to borrow a tape measure and the lady not sure her name a pregnant lady decided we didn’t need it and continued to tell us about the ovens herself rather than let us measure and decide what was best for us, like she didn’t want me to use her tape measure. Anyways super annoying and we left.

We bought a double oven and dishwasher. Love the products. And we are really grateful for the excellent customer service and honesty from Patricia and Ashley. On delivery, there was an issue with one of the appliances, and they did absolutely everything possible to work things out in our favor. You always worry about scenarios like this buying a scratch and dent, but Bowest came through. Thanks!

Great place to buy an appliance, until something goes wrong with the appliance. We bought a $300 microwave with an unusual panel but it seemed to work, then had unusual problems with the panel working and then the housing broke & the panel pushed in. The tech assessed that the panel broke due to abuse & a microwave we bought 10 months ago is not covered under warranty. The panel was not pushed on that hard, the material is cheap. It's a white Panasonic.

Two positive experiences. I required a fridge and dishwasher for short term lengths. Both times we paid extra for their installation and removal service. It's worth it. Staff calls you for a 1 hour window of time, then arrives within. Their appliances carry a 1 year warranty. Simple, easy, and cost effective. If you don't need new and extended warranty, this is a good option.

Went in today after hearing they were a live on location today for a big sale. They mentioned hood fans were a huge savings deal.
I went in was greated by a girl, when i told her what i was looking for she said " do you have measurements" and i said " no but we are remodeling our kitchen and i want to take a look at what sale ones you have" she told me " i cant help you then because you need to know the size, you can't return it just because you didn't know measurements"
And started to walk away so i said " could you at least show me where i can find them" and she pointed to three different places and walked away.
I took a look around the place and wanted help but no one was offering help so i left, quite frustrated.

Its unfortunate because they had great deals, but i was quite appaled by the lack of customer service.
