Amazing owner, amazing business, amazing customer service. I cannot recommend them highly enough.

As a landlord, like to share that their service crew has always been professional. My belief they have been honest, if a replacement part is needed or if they advise on new appliance. A handful of interactions over the years. All positive

My husband had brought back a washer we had purchased a week ago due to some issues with it. As he walked into the store to go thru the return process the owner Patrica was behind the counter. Once she heard what was going on she insisted in replacing the washer with a higher quality model at no extra charge right out of the box. She apologized for the inconvenience and had her daughter personally handle the rest of the paperwork. That's going above and beyond for the customer! They were super helpful and so nice these two beautiful ladies and they will see our business again in the future. Thanks to everyone there!

We have been customers of bow West appliances for years. The service and pricing was very good when they were just a small store in Bowness. Since The business has expanded they have gone from being affordable to very high priced. Their scratch and dent pricing is higher than what the brick is for their brand new appliances. After 30 years of being a customer I will no longer shop at Bow West. Patricia needs to remember how Bowness helped her get this started and reflect on the great business she used to have.

Ashley and Amanda were extremely helpful accommodating our washing machine replacement in a timely and efficient manner. We have and will continue to refer our family and friends to Bowest appliances!

BowWest was able to provide a new washing machine faster and cheaper than anyone in the city. When there was a small problem with the machine, they rushed to deal with it with no hassle or questions asked, even though they were clearly swamped with other customers. The washing machine is beautiful, works great and now I know that I can really trust their customer service and technician team. I will absolutely use them again and recommend them to others.
I edited this because I have now purchased a second appliance from them and it was a great experience again. No one else could find anything reasonably priced and delivery times were a month out. Bowest had something in my price range available for Thursday! Very friendly staff too

ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE. I bought a stove from this store, and paid for dilivery. When it arrived and we tried it it was not working. I contact this store back and they said they wont do anything and I would have to call about the warranty.

They sold me a completely defective product

Refused to do anything about it

Told me to fight for the warranty from there manufacturer instead of refunding the money I paid for a broken product.

We tried to speak to the Bowness location about having some parts shipped there from the SE location as it is closer to us. The woman who had answered the phone was extremely disrespectful. Not only did she place us on hold for 4 minutes, we were treated like second class citizens.

Generally charge too much for dented appliances
They mostly sell American Made like whirpoor and Fridgedale
It cost up to 2000 dollars
I rather buy a new appliance

I needed an inexpensive washer for a rental property. I was in/out in less than ten minutes with a brand new scratch/dent.

We purchased a "scratch and dent" washer and dryer set in November 2017. Since then, we have had 9 service calls, 2 replacement washing machines, and countless headaches. I was promised follow up phone calls from a manager by 3 different staff, but no one in management ever contacted me to review all the problems. I would not ever recommend this company to anyone.

Purchased a drain pump for my washing machine and specifically asked the sales person to staple the receipt to the part in case i dont need it. After troubleshooting i realized i didnt need a new pump, the drain hose was just clogged, so the new pump was untouched. I went to the store to return it within 3 days of purchasing it and they told me parts are final sale. I said i wasnt told this when i bought the part, can you please ask your manager. The manager wouldnt allow the return either. They should have told me the part was a final sale when i bought it or when i mentioned keeping the receipt in case i dont need it. Def wont return to this store again!

Was expecting a wearhouse type location but this was a very small location with very little selection. Hopefully the next location is better. I was also expecting some better quality appliances in a place like this that advertise scratch and dent. This almost looked like a second hand store with appliances that have been used for years. Maybe there is quick turn around on the better stuff and we were there at a bad time. Not sure though.

Thanks to Amanda and the very kind people at Bow West Appliances, I am now able to wash clothes again. Not only did I lose my only child on May 18, but my washing machine also died this past Saturday. They very kindly came to my rescue when I so very dearly needed assistance. They had exactly what I needed, delivering it for me today, and I can’t thank them enough for taking such good care of me in my time of need. ️

If you have any new appliance needs, I highly recommend them. Their customer service is the best I’ve ever encountered - compassionate, caring and understanding. They are simply awesome.

Helpful sales staff, good selection and great prices. If you are not picky about what you want you'll do fine here.

My bake element snapped on Friday evening. I called Bowest and they didn't have my part in but offered to order it in and call me. I agreed, and on monday they called me to say I could come get the part. I was in and out of the Bowness location in under 10 minutes. The woman working was efficient, courteous and an amazing multitasker, taking my payment, calling other locations for another customer, and fixing the printer all at the same time. I got home and installed the brand new bake element, which was EXACT the right one for my oven.

I would most decidedly recommend them based upon my own experience.

We just made one of the largest purchases of our lifetime. April (sales representative) aided us throughout our search and the entire purchase process. Not only was she knowledgeable she was also extremely patient and professional as we returned to the store multiple times. We never felt pressured or obligated to make a decision until we were ready. I found the variety of items in the store to be vast, and learned that we could also inquire about specific items we were in search of. Bowest took the time to find us the actual fridge we had decided on and called us when it arrived. I would certainly recommend them and cannot see any reason to pay full retail when Bowest offers the same manufacturer’s warranty as anyone else.

I heartily recommend this store. We have purchased scratch and dent appliances here a number of times in the past ten years. We manage a property with two suites and an office and have purchased stoves, fridges, washers and dryers, which have performed perfectly, with only one exception. We purchased a washer that we didn't install for over a year, because of a long renovation and when we installed it, it leaked. Bowest sent over a repair person, who fixed the machine and reset our warranty from the day installed, as opposed to the date purchased, so no charge for the service call or the repair. That was nine years ago and it's still working - no problems. Recently my fridge needed a service call and the person I spoke to recommended a fix and it worked, so we were able to cancel the service call; again, no charge. The tech didn't have to tell me about the free fix and we would have paid for a service call and possibly a repair and parts. I think that was highly ethical of that tech. We couldn't be happier with the owners, staff, service, and products at this store.

I stoped in to the new location on 32nd. I like it. It is also the easiest of the locations to get to. What I also like s that their used goods have a one year warranty wich is better then the original manufacturers warranty. And since parts have a way of failing just after the manufacturers warrenty ends, I think you actually are better off buying their used products. That’s what we did for our dryer. And for the price we got more features and a bigger unit. I think this is the best place in Calgary for a deal on appliances. The only chalenge I have had with them is stock. They don’t always have what I have needed, but they try. And thanks for the stove. That was certainly the best deal I have ever made for an alliance. We will be back and we will be telling our friends and family.
