I don’t think their phone works.

My insurance company recommended I take my vehicle here to get damages repaired, it took me 3 phone calls in a single day to even get someone on the phone to book the appointment, and when I tried calling back to get some questions answered the day before drop off, after 3 phone calls and one message left on their answering machine (with no response 3 days later) I decided that this probably wasn’t the shop for me.

I wouldn’t even give 1 star if there was a choice. The service here (or lack there of) has been a nightmare! The first time we brought a vehicle here we went in, they looked it over. We took it home. They ordered the parts and then I had to call because it had been so long since we heard from them. The parts were in so they booked us in. We took our vehicle in for the front grill to be replaced and the 3M to be replaced as a stack of ladders was pushed into my front end and broke the grill. The bumper also needed repaired as it was scratched.
We get told it would be done in about 2-3 days. They had it a week and we didn’t hear from them. So I called to follow up. They say it’s ready for pick up. So we go and no work had been done. I think maybe they replaced the 3M but the huge crack in the grill is still there as well as the scrapes on the bumper. So now they need to book us in again. We bring it back for much longer than they said again but this time it’s at least fixed when we come get it.

Now this year. I hit some ice and damaged the front bumper so it needs replaced. Sadly same car. We take it back cause it’s who our insurance said to use and we thought that first time must have been a one off.
Sadly we were mistaken. I had my accident in the winter. We have taken our vehicle in for repair. Took longer than they said by like 2 weeks. The manager is very rude and doesn’t seem to care at all how her customers are treated. Same deal. We get it looked at. We get booked in. Vehicle finally goes in. Takes longer than we were told with no updates at all. Then we get it back and it’s shacking and pulling and the rim is still damaged. So I call and the manager says no we don’t do alignments unless insurance says we can. Well I hit the front drivers side and the rim is damaged (which wasn’t repaired) so obviously the alignment should have been included in their initial quote to my insurance but it wasn’t. So I go back to insurance and she says of course the rim needs to be fixed and the alignment needs to be done. She contacts Boyd and they book us back in. Saying they would cover the cost of our rental vehicle. They did not. My insurance did. No apologies for the inconvenience. So we get the vehicle back late again. We get there to pick it up and the 3M is peeling off on the front bumper. We tell the manager and she’s annoyed and rude again. No apologies just says she needs to book it back in with her 3M guy. Promises to call us that day. I don’t believe she did. Honestly it’s hard to remember it all.
So I needed to change the appointment that we originally booked and now I can’t get booked in. She hasn’t responded to my emails and the last I heard from her was she wanted to do it this week as she would be on holiday all the beginning of August. I replied and said that works but we need a vehicle to drive. Nothing from her.
And to top it all off, as we were driving our vehicle on our road trip recently we noticed our headlights seemed weird. Like one was brighter than the other. So we pull it into the garage and the bright isn’t working on the one side and the other side, it seems really bright. So not sure what happened when Boyd had our headlight replaced, but I’ve also had to let her know that they need to be fixed/replaced.
I honestly do not want to go back here. It’s a lot to constantly have to bring the vehicle in, get the loaner, return the loaner, have 2 drivers to help get and return the loaner. It’s frustrating and the lack of care we get and how we are treated as annoying customers is not fair. Some decent customer service would have made this all easier to stomach. Mistakes happen. We get that but for all this to happen and be treated like we are inconveniencing them is not ok.

Parking situation is a little tight as there is mostly street parking. Great staff though, very friendly and helpful!

Our vehicle has been in their lot for close to 2 weeks. Still hasn’t been seen, they keep saying more vehicles ahead of us. Upon arrival via tow truck, we were informed no claim number was needed to proceed with estimate, now 12 days later and we call for follow up. They state a claim number is absolutely necessary to perform estimate, putting us more days behind without a vehicle. Nobody called to follow up and ask for those details, we call almost daily and it’s still sitting there with 0 progress until the end of the week (it’s Tuesday). The shop seems unorganized, providing wrongful information to customer, not following up, not asking for appropriate information to proceed. Nothing is happening in a timely matter. Would not recommends having your vehicle seen at this shop.

In my experience, I had damage to the right front bumper of my 2011 fiesta. Folks here we're going to communicating to set up an estimate which was quick and thorough. Upon approving the work they we're quick to set up an appointment for the repairs. I also appreciate that even though they said it may take a couple of days for the work to get done that I should plan on leaving the car for 5 days. It was helpful in that I wasn't waiting for my car to be done because I already cleared my schedule. Ultimately, the vehicle was done on time and I still picked it up within a few days. The quality they work itself was great and the cost was very reasonable. Considering the work that was done. For the work that was done to my bumper, I could highly recommend this shop.

Efficient and quality work from the team at Boyd Autobody. Had my vehicle taken in after an accident and the work was done quickly and looked great.

Took care of my vehicle giving it a clean and the team I dealt with was respectful.

I brought my car to Boyd after being in an accident. My insurance recommended this shop and it has been an ongoing process. Tong was great, very personable and willing to help- however, when they fixed my car I noticed my headlights were not working. I took it back there and was told by the manager (believe his name was Steven) and said my headlights were no longer working and seemed like they were loose. He refused to admit there was an issue because "your lights were working when we gave you back the car. " When I contacted my insurance they told me to bring it into a dealership and pay out of pocket for an assessment and if it was boyd's fault, they would cover the dealership work. After waiting almost 3 weeks for an appointment with the dealership they immediately looked at it and said the headlights were not installed correctly. This is what I had said to Boyd when I went back; they have a lifetime guarantee when they do their work but refused to actually admit any fault. How can someone guarantee their work, but refuse to admit faults. I will not be going to boyd for any future work because their work was not done correctly and rather than trying to alleviate the issue, I was told they did nothing wrong. Completely disappointing and ongoing issue when I had mentioned the issue they completely ignored it and dismissed my comments. If you want to be mansplained and ignored, then by all means, take your car here. But if you want quality work. I would take your car elsewhere.
