I contacted BR based on a referral from a friend in the construction industry. I needed to remove and replace a Swiss kitchen faucet similar to the existing unit. It required someone who had experience in the idiosyncrasies of European plumbing fittings. Kenny contacted me to review and set up an appointment for a particular day, received confirmation follow-ups, and Caleb and Josh showed up on time. The unit did require some specific fittings. Caleb did an excellent job, and he was a good problem solver. Site was left clean, billing was straightforward, and reasonable. I would not hesitate to refer them.

Two guys came over to clean our furnace ducts. The were polite and friendly. The work was completed within two hours. The house is warmer, our bedroom in particular, now that the ducts are not blocked.

I have been using BR Plumbing for over a year and Charles is excellent. He is always on time and very friendly and efficient. He always takes the time to explain everything and answer all my questions. He always has time to look at any other small item that I have a concern with.
The price is always very reasonable.
I will continue to use BR Plumbing and highly recommend them to anyone looking for an excellent reliable plumbing service.

Charles came to replace a very old water heater and he was professional, thorough and worked efficiently, we would definitely request him again. Liam came a couple of weeks later at our other house and did a thorough assessment of the problem with an older furnace and rather than change teh furnace motor, he changed a much less expensive part that solved the problem. Liam was clearly knowledgeable and like Charles, both had our best interest in mind. Very pleased and would recommend them and the company to friends and family without hesitation.

Chris Charles and Tom did the rough in for my new master suite and relocated the main stack in the basement. The finished product was clean and passed inspection. When I went to install the toilet vanity and tub everything lined up perfectly. I'll be using BR again in the future.

The owner Brett personally came out to do the quote for our replacement furnace, full new ductwork, plus natural gas install and meter permit. Was also there personally to layout trickier details of the install. He communicated timelines honestly and updated them if things changed. His crew did a good job and we’re happy with the new furnace. I’d highly recommend them.

I have been using BR Plumbing for years, but now that Bret has stepped down from doing the jobs, their service has gone down. It took me at least 8 text messages before they came to install a new facet, previously had called them to tighten the old one, which they did, charged me and then 2 weeks later had to call them again and then they discovered that need a new one. This after weeks they came back charged with again for the installation and overcharged me by $45 for buying it from Homedepot.
Will not be using them again.

We had the water heater and furnace serviced including replacement of humidifier filter. We had a problem with our whirlpool bathtub identified so that we could get it resolved. Brandon arrived early and was very efficient in getting the job finished in good time.

I hired BR plumbing to install my new air conditioner and from start to finish it was an excellent experience, they were fast and responsive, and the installation work done by Liam, Brandon, and Tom was top notch. They were clean, finished in a timely manner, and did a great job explaining how everything worked.

We had Brandon and Tom at our house today to do some repairs on our garage heater venting and gas line work. Brandon was very educated and walked me through all the steps of the repairs. Tom was eager to help and assisted in all the duties. The venting was repaired, gas line was painted and installed up to code. Brandon and tom cleaned up the work area and tested the equipment. We are very happy with BR plumbing's service and recommend them to anyone willing to have quality work done.

I bought a new vanity and needed the plumbing and steam shower unit moved. Brandon came and completed all the work correctly. I was going to install the vanity and faucet myself but he offered to do it and saved me the work. Would recommend.

I've used BR Plumbing's services several times in the past few years now. These services included plumbing work, shower fixture installation, toilet installation, furnace repair and A/C installation. I now only use BR Plumbing for this type of work. Every time, I have been very happy with the work done. They always show up at the agreed time, and they are always friendly and happy to answer questions. Today Charles did a great job, but others who did previous jobs at our place (Curtis, Brandon) were excellent as well. Highly recommended.

I used Brett's services twice in the past 6 months, once to repair the furnace and once to do a bunch of plumbing stuff in a basement bathroom. Both times I was very happy with the work done. I would not hesitate at all to recommend BR Plumbing or to use their services again.

This company was recommended to us by a trusted source a few years ago and we were happy with their work and service. We even recommended them to a neighbour.

Something seems to have changed since then.

Last week we called them about a slow, intermittent drip from our bath tub faucet. A very nice plumber came and, after inspection, told us the faucet needed to be replaced. He went and got one and came back and replaced it. It cost us $588 for the visit, parts and labour.

A few hours later, we noticed the drip was still happening, only now it was stronger.

We called the company at 8 am the next morning and the office manager told us he would get back to us. He did not. Two hours later, we called him.

He told us he had spoken to the plumber and that it was not dripping when he left, that we had not called the night before, and that it might be a bigger job. So, he would have to charge us for another visit, and the plumber might not be able to come out until the next day. We were shocked.

After a very long, very frustrating, and very stressful conversation, we agreed the plumber would come back the same day, and only charge us if it was going to be a bigger job.

The problem turned out to be a defective part. The plumber changed it and it has been fine since.

The end result was good but the process to get there was much too stressful. In the meantime, we contacted other plumbers who stand by their work. We will use them in the future.

Called about getting a gas line run for my fire table, Kenny came over to inspect the job and gave me a quote later that afternoon. He walked me though the whole process and answered all my questions, what to expect ect. Today Charles came by at the exact time I was quoted to install my gas line and hook up my fire table. He made sure to test it before he left to make sure everything was working properly and inspected my water heater and furnace to make sure they were lit. Both men were polite, professional, and most importantly on time. No "9am-5pm" window with these guys which was very much appreciated.

We had our sump pump fail during last weeks intense rain. After noticing water in the basement we called BR Plumbing and someone answered us, confirmed what the cost of the new pump and the service callout would be to see if we wanted to proceed. They then confirmed a technician would be able to come out as soon as possible and we agreed to move ahead. Brandon was our plumber who was at our house within a few hours, he removed the broken sump pump and installed the new one. Waited to make sure it was all working and inspected the exterior pipe to make sure more water wasn't going to be coming towards the house. He was friendly and the service very professional and answered all my questions and helped me learn more about the system which I really appreciated as a first time homeowner. Would definitely use them again if we had a plumbing issue and appreciated the prompt service for an issue that needed quick attention. Thanks!

Our work was done today by Charles…. Hot water heater install and a gas line extension. Charles showed up 5 minutes early, the first contractor ever. He was cheerful, and obliging with answers to my many questions. The work was done to my satisfaction, and finished within the allotted time-frame. I don’t give 5 stars to anyone until the work and/or parts have lasted. That said, I’m confident all will be well in the weeks, months, and years to come. I would call BR Plumbing for the next job without hesitation, and I’m pleased to be able to recommend them to others.

We used BR plumbing last year to run a gas line to our fire place and now that we needed a new hot water heater, they were our first call. Kenny emailed a quote immediately. We agreed on a scheduled replacement date and Charles was the installer. He showed up on time and was very easy to chat with. He removed the 2 old hot water heaters and installed the new one which is working great so far. Thanks!

I will be recommending this company to everyone. A lot of other companies should be following this company's practice of true, great customer service. I have used BR Plumbing since they were a one-man operation (thanks Brett!). Over the years they have come to do kitchen drain repair, pipe snaking, shower faucet leak repair, furnace repair (rebuilt the motor), furnace checkup/cleaning, washing machine faucet replacement, and even squirrel-proofing some ducting we have. The guys are always very professional, do a great job and leave the premises clean. I would not hesitate to call them the next time I need HVAC or plumbing work done on my older home.

If you're looking for an honest assessment by someone who is professional and accountable, then Brett is your guy. I would have no hesitation recommending Brett and BR Plumbing to anyone.

My experience with BR Plumbing was definitely not a positive one.
This company was recommended to me by a friend who was also screwed over recently by this company and will no longer use them.

My experience is as follows:
I received a written quote on the removal of an old furnace from my garage and to seal the gas line. I requested with reasonable notice that they take care of a leaky hot water pipe while they were here.

On the day of the job, Brett (the owner) texted me to ask if I would be around and able to assist so he only had to send one guy out. It was a small job anyway so I said sure.

Two guys arrived anyway and removed the furnace but didn’t address any of the other work. They were here for 10 minutes but still charged me the 2 hour minimum which was not agreed to in the original written furnace removal quote.

Brett claimed not knowing about the other work involved until I referred him to the old message string. After that point he still refused to do the work within the time I had already paid for.

So, I had to call another plumber to fix the leak, which only took about 30 min but I had to pay for another complete service call, plus parts.

If BR Plumbing had read the messages carefully and if they had acted professionally and responsibly, these issues could’ve been solved in one 2 hour service call plus parts, but they chose not to.

I will not recommend this company to anyone nor will I be using them again. They will end up costing you way more money than you need to spend.

The garburator installation was handled quickly and efficiently - well done! This is the second job that was done by BR. We are also happy with the installation of the backflow valve and other work done in our basement.

Service was prompt an excellent. I came home at 7 pm on a Friday to find my hot water tank flooding my basement, I called and within half an hour Brett got back to me and we had set up a replacement for the next day. The guys arrived on time, early even, and were amazing throughout the process. They got there at 8: 30 am and by 10: 30 everything was changed out, the old tank and garbage hauled away, and the matter sorted. I would absolutely use BR again.
