I worked with my lawyer, Melina D, for 3 and a half years to settle my case (during the pandemic). She was fantastic. Great communication with me, answered all my questions and was so persoanalble. I felt heard and respected which was really great since I had to drop out of university die to my injuries and struggled to find a job with my limitations from the injuries. It was a slow process due to the build of of cases over the pandemic, but I'm so happy it is resolved now and I can try and sort out my life and use my case winnings towards new education.

Been dealing with a lawyer there. Stay away from this firm. They did more damage to my case then the other side could have ever done. They don’t respond when contacted. They repeatedly ignore clients request. Worst decision of my life choosing this firm.

Braithwaite Boyle Accident Injury Law has represented me in two separate lawsuits involving two separate car accidents that occured within just four years of eachother. In both cases I had the pleasure of working with lawyer Melina! Once as a junior lawyer and most recently as a senior lawyer. Melina is genuinely very kind and it's clear she cares about her clients. Everyone who works at this firm is professional, timely with communications, detail oriented and empathetic. Although the contingency fee may seem high, you are being represented by high class lawyers which is clearly reflected during the settlement process. I was more then happy with the compensation I received in both lawsuits. Here's to hoping I'm not in a third car accident but if I am I'll know who to call!

**AVOID AVOID AVOID! ** Where do I start. I got into a car accident in 2012 and started my injury claim with Jon Stewart shortly after. I faced a broken arm while my mother has severe injuries to her head and back. After calling for 2 straight years of almost calling weekly, we are finally getting a settlement offer 7 years later, to which the other side has totally lowballed us and gave us an ultimatum of either take the offer or go to court.in 2024/2025, mind you that would be 10+ years after the accident. Even if I was to wait and go to court trial, I have no confidence in my lawyer he didn’t even prepare my mom or myself for our depositions, literally was advised will be asked a COUPLE of questions about the accident and my injuries. WRONG! They literally grilled me & my mom for hours about everything from the car accident, to our medical records and our livelihoods in general which we were totally not expecting.

Complete joke! If you decide to continue with them expect the following:

1. No communication or updates in regards to file unless you ask/ request for one.
2. Very high turnover with the legal assistants so you will be emailing someone who doesn’t even work there
3. A Lawyer who literally is looking for a cheque, which is understandable but with the quality of work, you might as well have done the work yourself lol honestly the amount that I had to pay from my settlement did not even make sense with the quality of work completed on my file.
4. Oh yeah, I almost forgot lawyer does not prep you for deposition day.

Mistakes happen, don’t make the same mistake I did FIND ANOTHER LAWYER!

Accidents are initially shocking and disruptive and nothing more disruptive then when this changed my day to day life. With the support of Melina Djulancic and her Legal Assistant Tamiza and everyone else from my initial call I quickly felt at ease and confident that my case was in good hands.

I would highly recommend Braithwaite Boyle to anyone injured in an accident. My case was handled very professionally, and took half the time that I expected it to take. I have other friends who were injured in accidents before mine with no resolution yet, even though theirs were no more serious than mine. The team at Braithwaite was responsive, knowledgeable, and always did their due diligence.

UPDATE: it has been 7 years and we were told that this would be wrapped up in May 2019, Then June. Now, here we are on July 12th 2019.

I left a voicemail on Tuesday and have not heard back, my next contact will be to the Alberta Bar.

trying to settle a mvc claim that my little brother was in 5 years ago.

In March 2017- 4 years in, we were told it would be wrapped up in 90 days.

5 years and we are still dealing with this. They take FOREVER to accomplish ANYTHING! WE shouldn't have to push the process.

I’m not using my real name, because lawyers have all kinds of measures at their disposal to get even. I’m just going to say this look very hard at the lawyer they assign you! This can happen with any Lawyers office, it just so happened to take place for me with these guys. I was given a lawyer who I liked, and then they switched that lawyer out with one. In my view couldn’t careless about me or my case, and made that crystal clear. It took over 3 yrs for my case. In my view the lawyer did as little as possible. Now when you have a case against another insurance company, they are given every little detail about you from your doctors etc.including everything that has NOTHING to do with your injury or case. So when it came to meeting the insurance lawyer and rep. It was very clear my lawyer and their lawyer were friends etc. So the insurance lawyer said oh so here’s an offer if you don’t except it, we have details about you that we will leak to the courts that will be extremely embarrassing for you! Keep in mind the information that lawyer was mentioning had nothing to do with my case or injury etc.then they sat back and smiled. I looked at my lawyer who said NOTHING. I asked well and my lawyer just said take their offer, basically unless you want them to embarrass and bully you in court. So I felt I had no choice. Concluding the so called meeting both lawyers shaking hands and laughing, and making plans for going out later. Disgusting! So I’m not saying which lawyer I’m just saying be very careful and have someone else keep track for you, and be prepared as they will in my view black mail you into a settlement and victimize you as they smile. You’ve been warned.
