Love this studio! There's a great variety of classes and the teachers are wonderful. It's quite busy, so you'll be quite close to other people. At first this really bugged me but I don't mind it now. Everyone is really welcoming and it's a really chill environment

Breathe is hands down my favourite for hot yoga. Everyone is kind, and the instructors are knowledgeable. Every class I have attended has been fantastic. The studio is always very clean. I am looking forward to my next session!

Breathe Avenida is a great space with excellent classes. Noticeable improvement in my day when I make the time for a class here. My favorite studio by far.

Great studio! Incredible instructors! Liana is one of Calgary’s top yoga teachers. Her classes are certain to challenge you physically and mentally all while connecting body to mind. If you haven’t taken her class it’s a must try!

If you want to be harassed this is the place to go to. My friend who had received horrible service left a review then shortly after received a phone call from the owner who yelled at her for leaving the review.

Owner called and texted my friend and cussed her out for leaving a bad review.totally unprofessional and disrespectful.mckenzie location is so friendly and welcoming.deserves to be shut down

My family and I own multiple successful businesses and we have never combatted a bad review by phoning a customer and harassing them. Yoga class etiquette aside there is no reason to pass unpleasant remarks on someone’s personality and no good comes from calling someone and yelling at them. I don’t understand how an establishment can have their motto as “Breathe Love. Breathe Life. Breathe Peace. Breathe Yoga” and then go and verbally abuse a paying customer. These people clearly do not what yoga even is and are simply appropriating Indian culture.

If I wanted to be disrespected so much I would just go to forest lawn for hot yoga instead. I am so tired of people having such a condescending attitude when they are given a role of “receptionist” or establishment “owner”. You are not the Queen of England. Please keep in mind that you are in a place of service to the public and not vice versa. It takes a certain amount of maturity and professionalism to understand one’s place in front of the customers, in other words the person paying YOU for the service. To conclude, Mckenzie location is very good!

I've been going to Breathe for many years and have always enjoyed their classes. Great selection of classes to chose from, with awesome and knowledgeable instructors. The app makes booking easy. Staff have always been friendly and professional. Studios are always clean and you can't beat the lemon grass towels.

Great studio, I've always enjoyed the selection of classes that Breathe offers especially as a beginner yogi. I am excited to try out their mom & baby classes in the new year!

Really like going to this studio. They make you feel very welcome. I am a beginner yogi and have never felt out of place. Temperature of the room is also great. And can’t beat the cool lemon grass cloths!

I have being going to Breathe Yoga for years, and have always loved this studio! The instructors are fantastic, and the schedule always allows for you to make a class that fits into your day (this is a big deal if you don't have a typical schedule).

Breathe Hot Yoga is where I started my yoga journey about 6 years ago, and although I have moved away from Calgary, I come back every time I'm in town! They have wonderful teachers, a beautiful space, and they foster such a great community.

I’ve been going to Breathe very very frequently since December 2012. I was referred there for restorative yoga to aid in a recovery from a bad car accident. Yoga changed my life. Breathe has always had some of the best teachers and best classes. It’s a true yoga experience for me I recommend Breathe to everyone I talk to yoga about. It will always be home to me

I wish I'd started going to this Breathe yoga studio long time ago. Everything in this studio is by the latest standards! The Higher standards! The location and parking is superb! The atmosphere is pleasant, clean, very professional! The teaching is Great, Great, Great! Any class I go leaves the feeling of satisfaction! I’ve been attended classes and programs at breathe for many years. I’ve always been happy with instructors, lots of options for classes and times, functional layout for the change rooms and lockers for personal items.

Whether you want to stretch and meditate and find some inner or peace or feel your heart beat smashing through your temples - there is a class for you! Breathe has saved my back and pushed my limits. Namaste

The pre-natal classes are the best! Very welcoming, and the teachers are great- especially Leanna in McKenzie Towne. Highly recommend if you’re expecting! Also, the wellness services located right in studio are super convenient.

I love going to yoga classes at breathe. It is the most welcoming environment, the space is clean and beautiful and the classes are accessible and taught for all levels. I never leave this place feeling worse and always crave going back for more the moment I leave! Online booking is easy and the app even has a barcode which is very convenient. Love this place!

I decided on a whim to do a hot yoga class. Never have I before. It was absolutely amazing! I felt I could really get into all the deep stretches And the instructor Liana was so great! Exactly what a mama needed on a Friday night! Highly highly recommend!

It is my favorite hot yoga studio. It is an always welcoming and professional place. Their class schedule has a wide range of styles and the classes are offered often during the week allowing people with various schedules to attend the classes. The teachers are very knowledgeable, and always ready to accommodate new students. It is a well maintained facility, clean and efficient.

This studio is wonderful and has a such a beautiful and relaxed energy to the whole space, including the studio and locker rooms! Today I did the traditional hot 75mins with Lisa, who was absolutely wonderful and has a strong clear voice to assist you in the practice. She brings the lights up to help you focus on yourself and stay present on the mat. She helps you challenge yourself and protect yourself all at the same time. I would highly recommend this class with Lisa for anyone looking to really challenge themselves and become more present on their mat and practice. I’ve experienced multiple class styles here since joining and find each one unique and different, lights and music will be different depending on the teacher but they all bring something different to the mat and are all there to help you centre and focus. All in all, this studio allows for meditation, a challenge to the body, and ultimately bringing mindfulness back into ones life.

I have been going to breathe on and off for the past year there is this amazing teacher that I have followed all the way from nolan hill location his name is Geffen Rubiano and he teaches at the McKenzie and avenida locations now hes such a good teacher respectful and patience in his classes and practice I only ever go to his classes. So happy hes back and teaching again.

This is my favourite hot yoga studio, nice ambiance and great instructors.
I also love that they have nice amenities like a locker, showers and water fountain.
If you forgot your mat and/or towel you can rent them as well for very cheap.

Great studio and classes. I love the variety and all the different times. I have tried other yoga studios throughout the city and Breathe Hot Yoga is by far the best for the atmosphere is zen the staff are great and the instructors are outstanding.

I love this studio! It is so calm and serene. The instructors are top notch with a great variety of classes. The showers and change rooms are always clean, and I really appreciated the extra amenities (cold cloths at the end of class, shampoo, tea etc). My only request is that the 9: 30 class be moved to begin earlier (8: 15-9: 00am start time) in the morning to match up with the local schools kindergarten hours (8-10: 45am Mon-Thursday).

You have to try the Buti class on Saturday, it's actually SO fun. It's like a flow/tribal dance class and man can that instructor move! Honestly though, you can't go wrong at this studio.

My favorite thing about this studio is the number & variety of classes they have - it's perfect for a busy schedule. Also, the lemongrass cloths at the end of class are a really nice touch

I love this yoga studio! The classes are challenging, fun, and hot. And at the end you get a cold lemongrass cloth which feels amazing!

Alright Breathe! I am pleased to update my previous review, and while its on my mind I thought I should do it now!

Since my last failed experience, I had the chance to come to the studio with my uncle. I always like to keep an open mind, and I am very pleased to see that the studio was CLEAN! Staff was friendly, and I got a shot at another class with Monique! The class was great! Monique was great, and I had an amazing practice. I was happy she came around and corrected people, myself being one of them! I always admire a teacher who is aware of their students and takes the time to ensure they are in the correct positions and getting the most out of their practice. The Improvement is well noticed and acknowledged, so thank you
