I have never changed a review but here goes. What once was easily four stars is now one if that. I absolutely loved their wing nights because their service was amazing and the food was always so good. This has been a long time coming because the last half a dozen times I've gone not only is the service absolutely awful like there are a few good waitresses in there and I literally mean a few. So I hope this review has no effect on them except for them to be more appreciated. The rest are awful. Now for the food I remember the first time we had their brisket it was all we could think about until we went back and it was nothing like we remembered it and that was probably around the same time that the wings started tasting stringy and overall so gross plus the seasoning is awful. I was in love with the Cajun dry rub wings and it started with the seasoning being off so I started ordering different flavors and the wings just started tasting even worse. I went there tonight to give it one more shot because I absolutely love their fruity Brew and I left without tipping and brought food home so my husband had something to eat for lunch tomorrow but I ended up picking at it and it tastes gross it's a buffalo chicken wrap. McDonald's could have made a better one. It is really disappointing

Despite being insanely busy today with Oilers game night. Carter and Shon were awesome. We had really good service from them. They were on top of their game and made sure our drinks were always full and made sure food was fresh and hot. Communication was awesome and good recommendation on the raspberry + Jammin berry beer combination by Carter.

Appreciate the good service.

Service was good and made some bang on recommendations.

Tables and place was clean and comfortable.

Beer was great. I had the red and coworker had the lager.

I tried the fish and tator tots. I thought it was excellent. I would be happy to come here again.

Awesome service every time we come in, Carter is usually our bartender and he's fantastic, super friendly and great suggestions. Live music was awesome, atmosphere was great. Beer and food is always delicious - can't beat those tater tots. 20/10 recommended.

We walked in, all tables were dirty, people were leaving. We had a baby so we couldn’t sit on the bar side.

One lady asked if we need help we said oh we need a table but it’s all dirty so she started to clear off the table she was gonna sit us.
Then she started to clean around the other tables.
We waited there for 5 minutes wondering when she was gonna wipe down the table.
She was walking around sweeping didn’t even acknowledge us being there waiting.
She just kept going around acting like she’s cleaning.
So we sat down at the table to see if they will just wipe it down. Another waitress notice the table was dirty where we sat down and was gonna clean it then after stop and kept cleaning another table.

We ended up just leaving and going to Boston pizza down the road and we got better service there and the food we enjoyed.

For the past 7 months this place is the worst for Service
Their waitress service is really going downhill.
Pretty sad because it was a good place to eat at.
Won’t be returning
And I’m not the only review who thinks their service is bad!

Service can be hit and miss, the drinks are good. A great selection of beer is available. Wings are really good.

We went as a large group and they were quick and accommodating. Caitlin did a great job serving us. I will definitely be back.

I go on other days than Tuesday and Thursday now! You get veggies and dip and a napkin! It’s so classy…

Had a great time out on the patio for a date night dinner. We got a burger and butter chicken. There server was friendly and quick to check up on us. It's not amazing food but it's predictable and good. Wet also enjoyed dinner of their tap beers.

Food and drinks tasted good! Service was very poor, place was empty with multiple servers on, waited a long time for drink refills on draft, empty plates and glasses on tables around us attracted flies, wasn't an environment we wanted to hang around at!

Service went WAY downhill! It's almost not worth going for wing night at $0.79/wing with the wings so tiny.

I visited Wings night last Tuesday. I understood there were busy, but the table and chairs was not cleaned at all. Worst thing is one of staff brought the glass of water still someone's rips marks on the glass that was so disgusted!

Good service, good food, and able to accommodate a large group after an e-mailed reservation request!

This place had great food and service. We went there after a long drive from Canmore and we got delicious food served fast and professionally.

I was there yesterday for Father’s Day, great service. We could tell the only four workers in the building were very stressed and busy but they all held themselves great! I couldn’t imagine having to do all that running. You could tell they were very short staffed for the day but no expectations fell short. The eggs Benny is what I got and it was amazing, would definitely suggest going there. Yum! Also get the river city raspberry beer, delicious!

Been coming here for years now and since all the restrictions was lifted our family come here often during wings night. We come almost every week and there are times that we come twice a week. My kids love the fries and ice cream here and the wings are delicious. But our last visit was so terrible, from the beginning the server is not accomodating. We ask for straws for the kids drink and they didn’t give it to us.the guy who bring food is the one who gave us straws. When our food came, they forgot to give us our honey garlic wings. We ask the server for it and she said she will follow up. But I assume, she went to the manager and told him that we finished the honey garlic wings and we are lying that we didn’t have it yet. The manager came to us asking if there is a problem with the wings, we told him we didn’t get one of our order. He pointed to my daughter’s salt and pepper wings and told us that it is honey garlic wings. I told him to check it if it looks like honey garlic to him. He gave me a look that as if I was lying. After he left I ask my kids to stop eating and we are going. We paid and left our food without finishing it. I will never lie to get free food, I have money to pay for our food and if we want more I can afford to pay for it. That server who looks new and that manager was so racist. Treated us like beggar who will lie to get free food. We will never comeback to this location. Might spend our money elsewhere who will correct their mistake than accuse the customer of lying to get free food. What a joke!

May 14th went in at 5: 30 told to take a seat anywhere. Waited more than 5 min, we had already looked through the menu and decided in both drinks and our meal, with servers walking by, bring drinks and taking orders but no one came to our table so we left. Must admit we did not flag anyone down but we should not have to.

Had a delicious brunch with my family on April 30,2022. I can’t remember our waitresses name, but she was excellent. Service, ambiance, food all delicious. Our group ordered the eggs benedict, onion rings, tuna poke bowl, and fish tacos. Everything delicious! If ever visiting on the southside again, will definitely come back!

Great service, awesome wings! I got the burger too and it was one of the best burgers I've ever had!

Great price on wings for a happy hour special! Server was awesome and on point with everything. Hope people read this TIP SERVERS OVER 20 PERCENT THEY DESERVE EVERY PENNIE, the recommendation of food and stuff to try is from their taste buds and again on point will return.

Their flight is so amazing and even all the beers and good

Was just at the brewsters and saw an altercation with some drunk customers (one of which fell asleep at the table) and the manager handled it very professionally!

The manager of this place is racist a soon he found out I’m speaking broken English he refused to serve me even dough I had 2 beers
I don’t think I would like to see this place after being treated like that

This location is one of the better ones when it comes to the service. Beer is always good that they brew. Wings and burgers are great. Always my go to.

Was very pleased with the wait staff and manager accommodating our martial arts group for my partner's birthday! They made it very easy when arranging the get together, and were clear about cov19 restrictions ahead of time. Nachos were light and crispy, with just the right amount of toppings; chicken wings were well seasoned and fresh. Gyoza was tasty as well! Not to mention their nice selection of beers, including gluten-free options. I wish we had an opportunity to order more things, but we came in late after training.
They allowed me to bring in cupcakes, (even signed the card) and helped make this a memorable occasion. Thank you Brewster's Summerside!

My husband and I were there around 4: 45. We sat on there patio. It was lovely, nice areas of shade and sun. The plants are a lovely touch. We had an amazing server, I didn’t get a chance to ask her name. I wish I did because I want her next time I come! She seemed really busy and it looked like she was serving a lot of other tables on the patio, but she still made sure we had the best service. We were having troubles picking a drink every time she came around because we wanted to try different ones every time. Her suggestions were the summer haze which my husband loved. And there sour it was a beautiful colour and those two are just the perfect beers to enjoy this weather we are having right now. Our food came out in a good amount of time and it tasted delicious! 10/10 would recommend Brewsters 10/10 would recommend the patio if it’s nice out and 100% loved our server!

So my girlfriend and I stopped by here the other night and our service was terrible. We ordered calamari as an appy, and from my experience with cooking calamari only takes a minute to cook. We waited almost 15 minutes. I could tell the plate had been in the window by the heat of the plate. The calamari was hard and rubbery. I thought it might be busy in the back, but it wasn't. The weight staff were standing around. I'd been working in the restaurant industry for quiet a few years and have experienced racism with so many servers. Server's in the past even asked me to ask a group of Indigenous people to leave. Because they were afraid to serve Indigenous people. The racist vibe was what I was picking up from our server. She was serving a group of guys on the patio and our table. She catered to the table she thought she would get the best tips from. I've experienced so much discrimination working in the industry. I know it when I see it. A majority of servers won't serve Indigenous people, because they believe we won't tip or dine and dash. I'm not standing for this kind of discrimination anymore. It's disgusting. That Brewster's let the quality of their establishment in general slip.

I come here all the time and I love it so that’s why I’m giving three stars. But the past two times I’ve came we’ve gotten this rude waitress. Very strong French accent and We can barely understand her. She doesn’t even greet us at the table. When she brought our food she just dropped it on the table. When I ask her a question about something she just yells. I would still recommend this restaurant because overall it’s really good just avoid that server. I love the beer and the food. The raspberry beer is my favourite and probably will be why I keep coming back.

This is my new favorite burger place, absolutely delicious as well as the fries and gravy. Love their original brew and the growlers are a great price all winter.

Great experience. Quality mac and meatloaf and a beer, and out the door in time to get the kid to bed. Lovely little escape.

A clean, family-friendly pub/restaurant with very prompt, thorough, friendly service!

I had a raspberry beer, which proved a delectable way to celebrate finally being able to eat out of the house after months of lockdown! A beer! In a decent pub! With safety!

To eat, I chose the avocado chicken-breast burger with fries and gravy. It was a GREAT choice! The bun on the burger was soft and fresh, the guacamole full of lime, *just* the right amount of garlic aioli, a sprinkling of grated.lettuce or was it cabbage (whatever it is, just YES) and a hearty piece of perfectly-cooked chicken-breast. The portions are hefty, so plan accordingly!

Also: Covid protocols include collection of guest contact info, should tracing be required, which just seems like it should be common sense, but not all restaurants that have reopened are taking this particular extra measure, so thank-you to Brewster's for leading the way in caring for your staff, the community and its membership.

Stopped here a couple times to meet up with friends. Nice place, friendly Staff. And food is always good. The place is well kept and always clean. The Century Park location is worth a check as well. Both are very good places!

My family and I went to Brewster’s last night and we had an amazing server. We haven’t had her before but she’s helped us in the past (Breanna or Rihanna I think she said her name was) we sat in the dining room and we usually get a different girl (shyla I believe). My family and I debated coming back several times because whenever shyla would serve us we would have the worst experience. Rude customer service. Slow at getting our drinks and unfamiliar with the menu. She also always had an attitude.
My family and I decided that we would check it out one last time before we made up our mind about this Brewster’s location.last night changed our whole opinion on Brewster’s. Rihanna or breanna gave us excellent service. Our drinks were brought in a timely matter. The food tasted amazing. She answered every question I had about the food. She recommended the fish tacos so I got them and they are to die for. Delicious. She also recommended the mud pie and we haven’t had it in the past so we tried it. Another great recommendation from her. If you are going to this location I would recommend asking for this server. She is the best!

Jennah the manager, hosted us during this pandemic. She made sure our table was sanitized and everyone in walking contact wore a mask. I high recomend coming to this location for a safe and great experience.

We ordered Brewster's on Saturday for my husbands birthday, it was a place we always went but with the pandemic we haven't been going out for dinner.
We ordered take out, we didn't wait long and everything we ordered was absolutely delicious.
I don't have one bad thing to say about the whole meal.
Everything was piping hot, and fresh.
We raved about the meal all weekend long.
If you haven't been to Brewster's summerside you need to go.
We had the crispy chicken burger, bison burger, pizza spring rolls, pretzel, and the mud pie. Even picked up a 6 pack of raspberry beer as it was on sale.
Thank you summerside Brewster's for making our meal and experience delightful and delicious.

Was there years ago and usually I hit up the Calgary location.drinks were ok atmosphere too but we had the worst server (Ben)

Haven't been to Brewster's in over a year. Figured we'd try again but a different location since the last one put us off. I've been going to Brewsters for over 10+yrs so I'm not ready to give up just yet.lol

TONIGHT we were greeted in a timely matter. Clean table, clean menus and sat ourselves far away from others. Server was prompt with my Caesar to start. Then my raspberry ale, house beer. Tasted the way I remember and was flavorful. Food took a little longer than we would have liked but it came out piping hot. French Onion soup was hot with lots of melted cheese and garlic toast. Garlic Parm chicken fingers were good but could have made them at home. When I say that, I just mean Brewster's doesn't make their own breading. So decent but not a reason to make a point to come back just for them. Next time I'm getting the legendary wings and pretzel. All and all good service and meal.

I love the variety of the menu. The beers are excellent. And I will be back as soon as you reopen.

45 minutes to get food. Salad had almost no dressing and was wilted, and only warm soup. The burgers were good, and they did apologize for the wait.

This is my favourite casual restaurant. Great food, awesome patio even better beer. I love the raspberry beer on tap, and it’s my beer of choice in cans too.

We are from the Coeur d' Alene, Idaho area. We had actually intended going to the Canadian Brewhouse but upon arriving we were told our kids weren't allowed to be there, so we looked for another place. We came to Brewsters on a whim. Boy are we glad we did. First of all the ambiance is awesome. Kids are welcome. We sat outside and we enjoyed the beautiful evening. Our waitress Jessica was amazing. She was so attentive, super friendly with ourselves and the kids. Then to make the whole experience a 5 star rating the food was absolutely fantastic. We had the grilled cheese and oh my goodness. I cant speak enough great things about this place. I wish we had a Brewsters in the states! My husband liked it so much he got a Brewesters t-shirt. We will tell all our friends in the states about this wonderful establishment!

Great beer. What a selection. The food isn't bad, either. Come for the beer, stay for the daily specials. One of my favorite local places.

Waited 45 mins and given drinks that got to sit and lose their fizz, service was subpar, waitress showed no real emotion and didn’t seem interested in serving. The wings were terrible and anything that had a sauce such as honey garlic or bbq were barely covered in it and it felt like I ate plain dry wings. Horrible experience, I understand it’s busy after 9pm for wings on Tuesday’s but if you know it’s going to be a lot you should get more experienced servers

Horrible service! The guy who attended to us was really rude not to mention the burnt chicken wings they served us. Not the same brewster we've known. Going to OJs instead on Tuesdays.

I have visited this place twice now. Have had the salad as a side both times and very impressed. The Brewster burger is awesome! Lean and full of flavor. Will definitely return!

Matt and Ben were my bartenders. Excellent service, food was great with super fast service. Definitely recommend going here if you want some good beer and service!

Waited over an hour for our meal, I ordered a burger & fries, The burger was very dry, the fries were cold.
Girlfriend ordered pasta with garlic bread, pasta was Luke warm & didnt recive the the garlic bread.

Service was average, food was decent. Good pizza and nachos. Classic nachos overkill; lots of toppings - which is good - but then, not enough chips. If the nachos weren't on special, they'd be overpriced though.

Excellent food and service. Use haddock in their fish and chips (excellent!), like all pub/eateries they tend to over salt the fries (encourages beer sales). Order with no salt then use the shaker on the table.
They have a large variety of their own craft beers available. Fridays are wholesale off sales. 11.99 for 6 pack of bottles

Worst experience from Chrish (worst bartender or whoever ever). Why owner hiring people who dont mind their own business. And by breaking PRIVACY LAW they are taking pictures of private cars PLATE NUMBER in order to call police even people are not drinking and just there to accompanying people who are drinking.

It was a fairly nice little pub with slightly above average pub food. But hey Fridays and Saturdays they sell craft beers at wholesale prices by the 6 pack.

Love their nachos here! Tankard of blueberry beer and a half nachos to share go along way after a long day. I did notice it was abit quiet for a Saturday night, however this did not affect my good experience.

Food was great. The servers were attentive, helpful and funny. Wasn't expecting a great experience - Pleasantly surprised.

Place was empty, which I understand since it was a Thursday in the suburbs. Less beer selection than the downtown location, which makes sense, of course, since one is a brewery, and the other fees like an after thought.
