Cute restaurant with nice ambiance. The garlic bread and banana pie were amazing, but other food and cocktails we got were a miss.

Had a fantastic experience at Bridgette Bar. All of the food was incredible and the service was truly top notch. Highly recommend the garlic bread and Brussels sprouts for apps. For mains, we had the steak, duck, and lamb — all of which our party enjoyed immensely. Will certainly be coming back when I visit Calgary next!

Not much vegetarian options would have loved if der were few more options, overall it's a nice place to be at.

We have just finished our two week holiday of Canada and USA. This was by far the best restaurant we have visited during that time.
In fact it is the best restaurant I have ever been to. Every dish and cocktail we had was truly delectable.
I highly recommend anyone visiting Calgary to come here.
Our server, Rakel, was so friendly, kind and approachable. She is one of the best servers I have ever come across. She is an asset to the restaurant! She truly made the our experience extra special.
I am seriously thinking of visiting this place again for an excuse for a holiday again to Alberta from the UK!

The last time I went was my second time being there. The food was amazing. The zucchini fries are probably my favourite. The banana pie is totally worth it, but make sure you either have a big appetite or are sharing it with someone because it is massive! The food is definitely worth every penny spent there. The staff were fantastic and I will definitely be coming back.

The place is always busy and getting a reservation is difficult. The service is great, so no issues there. Three stars for changing the concept of truffle pasta.a few years back the price was $18. Now you pay $19 and you can add extra truffles for $10. One would think that's fair but the truth is that paying $29 you get the same amount of truffles as 2 years ago for $18. That is a steep increase for no added value to taste or quality.

Delicious restaurant, don’t sleep on the appetizers. Been here multiple times and everything is always clean and quick. Highly recommend!

My absolute favorite overall higher end restaurant in Calgary. Always amazing. Lunch or dinner or just drinks/apps. Almost everything has been good on our visits, some staples are the grilled octopus salad, trout, garlic cheese bread, steak, rigatoni. Difficult to book a reservation last minute, best to book a couple of weeks or more out.

Went here on a recommendation from a local and so happy we did. Happy hour is legit, with half off food and drinks. Both the happy hour menu and dinner menu (stayed for both) we’re excellent. Have the garlic bread.

Wow unreal food here! The garlic bread, pizza and the rigoto pasta was amazing. Cocktails were decent but very expensive at $15 each. Regardless though, me and my wife were super impressed and will be back forsure. One of the best restaurants in Calgary!

Edit: wow. Just when you think they couldn’t get worse they somehow find a new low. Blame the customers and say you did a great job. What a disgusting establishment. I will actively be telling people not to visit here. Clearly you don’t care looking at your response to numerous complaints as you are probably busy again. It’s amazing businesses in hospitality can treat customers like trash and get away with it.

Extremely unprofessional and rude. If you are going to have a 2 hour limit on tables you should tell people when the reservation is booked, or when they are greeted, or sat, or even introduced to a server. When you have racked up a bill after many plates of food and wine then are told to pay and leave before the desert had arrived, it is a slap in the face as a customer. Treating people like this is your establishment is horrible. Looking at your reviews it clear this is not a one time event but more a trend. 1 star. Would do less if I could.

Well I do love the vegan/vegetarian options! Our server was so lovely ️forget her name The only reason for the 4 is often I find the Host Staff a wee bit stuff

I recently booked their private dinning room for a special event and I was blown away. The accommodated our dietary restrictions perfectly. Luke was amazing to work with, quick responses and clear communication. I was so impressed from start to finish. The food is absolutely amazing, I’m in love with duck. I’m not from Calgary but I can assure you this is my new go to spot when I’m in town. 10/10

Busy and walked in and snagged a free table by the window. Evan was our server from the front bar and was funny and prompt. I was shocked by how quickly such good quality food came out even though it was PACKED on a Friday. Tried the eggplant fries to start and the texture was indescribable. Amazing dinner!

Awesome restaurant. Food was tasty. My husband and I loved the garlic bread and eggplant fries. We also had their potatoes and shared a pizza. All of it was delicious and for a great price. Would definitely recommend.

Interesting menu. Tried a few different things from the shared plates with a group of people. Everything we tried was pretty tasty. Prices are a bit on the higher side, kind of what you'd expect. But I feel it was worth it.

Bridgette Bar has been pumping out consistently yummy food with great service and wonderful vibes. This past Friday was a bit of a miss with majority of the dishes so it’s overall a 4 rating rather than 5 Memorable dish was the eggplant fries and seafood pasta. Would I go back again? Not tomorrow, but most definitely again!

If you are looking to have an amazing dinner in an awesome atmosphere with great service and want a 10/10 meal make your way to Bridgette Bar! If you are lucky to have Anna (she was amazing, so knowledgeable and gave great recommendations) as your server you are off to a great dinner out. Order any of the cocktails, then order the Eggplant Fries, Whipped Feta Beets, Carrots, Tuna Crudo, Ricotta Dumplings, Banana Pie…you will not be disappointed!

Such a great dinner experience and seriously so happy we got a table on a walk in because it was packed the whole evening…still a full house at 845 on a Thursday night when we left!

Check it out for a girls night, date night, celebration dinner etc etc…any reason to have a great dinner experience!

Visited on a Thursday night for dinner as a group of 6 via a last minute reservation. The service was great! Sparkling or flat water is included free of charge. The food is amazing! Highly recommend the wagyu beef carpaccio and the mushroom rigatoni. Would return again!

One of my favorites in town. I frequent here and my favs are the tomato salad, steak strips and the pasta with sausage. Amazing cocktails too. Really great food.

Delicious! Everything is great. Highly recommend the duck, pasta in white sauce and for sure the garlic bread! There's a private dining room for large parties that certainly cuts the noise of the main dining room.

Very nice place with the upscale feel but not the upscale prices. Half price happy hour from 2-6. Nice atmosphere, good music. Great Food.

Delicious food that is suited for sharing and a great wine list! The decor is very mid century modern chic. Definitely recommend!

This room commands your presence for date night. A fun, diverse menu with something for every taste - and incredibly knowledgeable staff. 10/10 recommend.

After posting the below review about our bad experience, the manager reached out to me to apologize and promised me to correct their mistakes. I was invited to come back to give them another chance to prove themselves and even promised me a full refund of our first visit. A month has gone by and no refund was made. Called them to follow up the refund and was once again promised by the manager that they will process it. Nothing was done. Credibility and honesty is something that they need to improve on top of the quality of the food they serve.

The server was friendly but the food (chicken) that was served to us was slightly raw. I was disgusted and told the server about my disappointment. He came back saying, after speaking with their chef, that the chicken was actually cooked. I have pictures of the uncooked food but don’t know how to share on this post. They didn’t even offer to replace the food instead insisted and played too proud about the quality of the food. The next day, I had upset stomach maybe due to food poisoning (unverified). The front receptionist didn’t even say thank you when we are about to leave. Will never come back again and would share this experience with our friends and relatives.

Gotta be one of the best restaurants in the city. Do yourself a favour and share 5 or more dishes with someone and hit up AS MUCH OF THIS DELICIOUS MENU AS YOU CAN.

Fancy spot with good food. Prices are actually pretty good for the quality received. Filled with so much flavour and complimentary tastes. Really enjoy. Just make sure to call ahead as they have line ups and limited seating inside.

We came here for my 30th birthday dinner and could not be more impressed. The restaurant is spotless and the staff we spoke with are remarkably polite, know the menu/recommendations and we are certain we will be back. My husband had the lamb sirloin, wow, with notes from the Middle East it couldn’t be better highly recommend. I had the rainbow trout and it brought back amazing memories. Highly recommended for families with babies (high chairs are clean and accommodated at notice), date night, group outings, drink list looked amazing we will be back for drinks another time. This is the best food we have had in Calgary.

Our server Shane was great. Initially the steak came out too rare for my liking (I requested medium-well, was given medium-rare). They gave me a brand new steak as well as a free dessert and wine. Great service!

This place is alright. The meals are made for sharing which is pretty neat but I think it's quite over price for the food quality you get. We ordered the steak, fish with maple bbq, pizza and banana cream pie. The service is good. They are always attentive and made sure you're always topped up on everything you need (food and beverage).

Great food, cocktails, and service. The Wagyu Carpaccio was outstanding, as was the Lamb Entree and the Burrata. Will definitely be going back.

I will NEVER go here after the extreme racial discrimination and rudeness that my friend experienced there. He walked in and asked to make reservations for him and his friends. He was asked to wait across the street and told that they could seat him in 2 hours. Within minutes, his friends (and he is too much of a class act to tell you that his "white" wife was included in those friends) arrived and texted him that they were seated. In this day and age? Super disgusting!

Enjoyed the shared plates, highlights were the steak, grilled chicken, beet salad, lamb sausage and banana cream pie.very cool space and feel.a bit disappointed by the cocktails - for $15, they are similarly priced to Proof, but nowhere near as good (tried 4-5, rolling canoe was great).

Excellent service, average food, boozy but creative cocktails, hipster-ish environment (I don’t get it.what’s with the vintage bixies?) and stylish decor. I’m not sure what the brand represents. It’s design-y, but there’s no storyline or anything that connects with me.

Bridgette Bar is a fantastic restaurant, from the food to the decor. The designer of this space has done a tremendous job and should be exceptionally proud. The service is wonderful and the dishes creative and perfect. Easily one of the top restaurants in Calgary. Well done to the chef, owner and Team.

My Gf's sister held her wedding there because she wanted something small and simple. And gosh let me tell you. This place was absolutely amazing. The food was great, really didn't expect that and I never say it so lightly. The drinks well, they are drinks. But the service, the vibe, the setting, the atmosphere all led this to be a spectacular and unforgettable night. Definelty a staple in Calgarian restaurants and bars.

Hey all. Finally back from my tour in Asia. We tried this restaurant on Sunday. This was my first experience at this restaurant so we had to try a couple items. We ordered the garlic bread, bibb lettuce, eggplant fries and beef strip steak. The garlic bread although unusual (looked like a deep fried poptart) tasted the best out of all these items (cheesy filling). All of the other items seemed okay but didnt really stand out in terms of flavors as they were a bit bland. Prices here are higher than average.

I LOVE Bridgette Bar. Hands down my favorite restaurant in Calgary or even the world? And I have dined all over the world in some of the most expensive establishments. A good spot for a more semi-formal date night experience. The braised rabbit: amazing. The duck: THE. BEST. DUCK. The best dish ever, even? It is perfectly flavored. It's crispy on the skin where it needs to be. Tender meat. To sum up: Perfect all around. Never had any complaints. Everything is worth the price. My boyfriend and I are obsessed and I highly recommend it. The decor and location is so aesthetically pleasing. 10/10 I would recommend this place to everyone I know and I often talk about it on social media. We sat at the chef's bar (table?) one night. Wonderful experience. They handle any requests or qualms respectfully and appropriately. The wait staff and especially the chefs are so pleasant to talk to! All the love to you, Bridgette Bar. <3

Bridgette might be my favorite restaurant in Calgary for a special night out. Set in a beautiful industrial building, this restaurant features exposed brick walls, super high ceilings, a mix of mid century Californian decor and art deco, a wide open patio facing the bar, great food and lively ambiance. Make sure to make reservations as this place gets quite busy in the evenings. For food I would recommend ordering a variety of small plates to share tapas style. Pricing for small plates varies between $14 and $19, but portions are fair, expect to share around 5 small plates for two adults.

With so many great reviews, I honestly thought our experience would've been better. I made reservations for my wife and I for our 10-year anniversary for 5: 30pm on a Saturday. When we arrived the restaurant was roughly 1/3 full (maybe less) and we were seated at the only 2-person table closest to the kitchen. Before even sitting down I asked if we could be moved to any of the other 2-person tables open and was told "No, sorry, we have to time our turnarounds on the tables". It took an additional 20 minutes before anyone was even seated around us and the last two 2-person tables that we had asked to be moved to were not filled until 6: 30pm - apparently we should've reserved later? Also, I was surprised that our server (who provided great service, was extremely friendly and was the largest reason our evening wasn't miserable) only mentioned our anniversary after I paid. Obviously she knew because I didn't say anything other than when I made the reservation - I would've expected her to mention it perhaps a bit earlier in the evening rather than after I paid the bill. I have found that most places have done something a little special for my wife and I on our anniversary when we've chosen to celebrate it at their establishment. Apparently not at Bridgette Bar.
The chicken was good but I found both the sausage and chicken breast to be greasy. The only reason we stayed is because we had a giftcard. Will not be going back anytime soon and will not be recommending.

The appetizer and food menu had a nice variety of items which you wouldn't typically find in other places, such as eggplant fries and grilled octopus. Definitely a place to let you experiment with different foods. There was also a good variety in the types of drinks, providing lots of options to try something new. However, I found the drink prices high: the cheapest beer was $9 for a Calgary-made brew, and the cheapest cocktail was $12. A good place for a special event, but too expensive for a regular destination.
