BrightPath Southwood East

We have been very happy with the care and support through Brightpath Southwood East. The staff are always friendly and caring.

Hands down the best team I have ever worked with. My co-workers are some of the kindest, most hardworking individuals I have ever met. Marla is a very supportive boss and a strong woman who always advocates for our children here! As both a staff and a parent I can attest that the staff go above and beyond to make sure the children are safe, loved and receive quality care. Allowing someone else to watch your child is putting huge trust and as a parent I am grateful for the love and attention my own son has received while here over the last two years.

We love this daycare. The staff are great, Mr. Henry is amazing and my son absolutely adores him he changed his whole schedule around to accommodate my sons needs.
The director Marla went above and beyond in accommodating for my son’s allergies. She made the entire facility change its recipes as to not include the allergen my son is anaphylactic to!

The staff at Brightpath Southwood East are incredible! Our son has been going there since he was 1 year old, they have supported him through his first steps, separation, all the milestones a child goes through in their first years and now potty training.
The support we receive from the educators is unparalleled - they have been so kind and suggested many helpful things that have allowed my child succeed at home and school. He has been given the opportunity to try so many new things and explore new interests that we may not have encountered organically.

My child is happy to go to school and excited to tell me about his day when I pick him up. I could not ask for more in a daycare program.

We have been enrolled at Southwood East for almost a year now. What I love the most about this team of teachers is how much they truly care about all of the kids. I know mine are in good hands when I drop them off. Communication is great with the management team and I love the HeyMama app where I get real time updates on how much they eat, how much they sleep, diaper changes and pictures of them participating in activities. Although the facility is older, the backyard is huge with lots of fun toys to play with. I like that it is also not located on a main road too. You won't go wrong signing up for daycare here!:)

My kids (3 & 5) started at Brightpath Southwood East two months ago after we moved to the neighbourhood. Prior to coming here, they'd only ever known one other daycare for most of their lives, so this was a HUGE transition for them.

The staff at Brightpath Southwood East have been AMAZING at welcoming our kids and helping them to feel comfortable. They were supportive and attentive as our kids were getting used to their new daycare. Now, our kids love going to daycare and look forward to it every day.

Brightpath has a fantastic curriculum, and our kids come home knowing new things every day. They are learning all the time, but are also having fun while doing it.

The staff also take the time to build relationships with each kid, and are careful to learn their individual needs and personalities. Brightpath really is a second home to our children and we're so comfortable dropping them off each morning!

My two goofballs started their daycare adventure at BrightPath Southwood East over a year and a half ago. They were 1.5y and 3y. The transition from being home with me all day to a busy exciting daycare went smoother than I could have ever imagined. The centre is incredibly clean and well maintained. Everyone immediately knew me and my kids regardless of whether they were their teachers. They magically got my over-tired nap fighting 3-year-old napping again, which really improved his mood and how well he slept at night. The teachers learnt how to do my little guys cloth diapers, so we didn’t have to switch to disposables. They never complained, even though I know disposables are so much easier to put on a wiggly toddler. They were even beyond patient and helpful when he started potty training, giving me lots of updates and praising him on his success. The director, Carmen always gives me all the time in the world for any question or concern I may be having. The use of the HiMama app gives me such peace of mind. I can see what they learnt about today, what they ate, how long they napped for and any toileting issues. They also post pictures of my cutie pies which always brightens my day.

We picked BrightPath when my kid’s speech language pathologist gave us a list of places to continue his therapy. BrightPath allows him to get his therapy right at the centre, his wonderful speech language pathologist comes to him, no running around to appointments or putting him on a bus. Despite his speech delay he would chat up every teacher in the centre, every single one of them took the time and effort to listen to his stories and talk with him. This small act made a world of difference in his confidence with speech, as well as making his day. I’m so glad BrightPath was suggested to us. It’s nice having my kids in the same (wonderful) place and for my one guy to still get access to those resources.

Our son started at BrightPath Southwood East when he was 10 months old. The entire team treated him as their own. In those first few months Ms. Jozelle provided him with a ton of care and compassion and really helped us all make the transition. Since then he continues to suprise me by all the things he learns. He loves seeing his teachers every day and we are so grateful he is in good hands when he is not at home. Thank you to the Southwood East team. You all have welcomed our family into yours and made our life a little bit easier. You are all rockstars!
