I bought shoes for my husband and for my son last dec.one of the shoe heel is falling off. Manager is so nice they order the shoes right away.customer service is excellent.

West Edmonton mall Browns is awesome. They are very accommodating and truly care about their customers. The manager and staff are kind and super helpful. I wouldn’t go anywhere else.

I purchased a pair of Sorel boots today at the WEM Brown’s location. Great boots at a great price, but what made my shopping experience exceptional was the service provided by a young lady named Sim whose courteous and helpful manner was the best I’ve experienced in decades. Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills. Browns is lucky to have her.

My friend and I went job searching around the mall and chose to go inside Browns to get some information whether they’re hiring or not. She went up to an employee who was a tall man with brown/greyish hair. Wish I would have gotten his name because he was so rude to her. She went up to him asking if they’re currently hiring and wanted to know the process. He didn’t even give her another chance to speak and all he said was “no. ” Which is so unprofessional in a workplace. A simple “I’m sorry but we’re not currently hiring at the moment but keep an eye out for online postings” would have been sufficient, instead he chose to be disgusting. I don’t think I will support this store anymore because of that experience.

It's typically where I end up every time I go looking for a nicer shoe as they have a lot of quanlity options. Their staff are typically nice and friendly and provide a good experience in the store, knowing when to ask for help and providing assistance and options, but my last visit here was frustrating and disappointing.

One of their newer staff (I assume) is very pushy and annoying to deal with taking salesman to another level. Within two steps of entering the store, we were greeted and told to talk to them if we needed help - not so bad, but okay. From there, they followed us 2 steps behind (seriously), and as soon as I picked up a shoe to better look at it, I immediately was asked what size I wanted to try on. I hadn't even taken a look at the shoe yet! They continued to pester us as we walked through, looking at the shoes in the same manner. As soon as I did try a couple of pairs on, it wasn't a question of how they felt or what I thought about them, but rather the question they asked was if they could take them to the counter to be paid. They were also insistent that one pair I was interested would be fine in a subatantially smaller size (they didntm't have my size in that one style / colour), even after I told them they didn't fit. Pushy doesn't even cut it.

Unfortunately, they overshadowed the greater service that the other staff provide, and I typically expect here. The other staff and selection are the reason I would consider coming back, but ensuring I avoid this particular person if I do.

The staff at this location is extremely pushy. I’ve tried in-store ordering a pair of sneakers and each time the shoes arrive they are stained. I understand it’s not the staff’s fault that the pair arrives that way, but they always try to push me to take the purchase as is and that it’s not that big of a deal. The staff keep insisting it’s just glue and they’ll wipe it off, but it’s not just glue, there are some black stains on very visible parts of the shoes or seem worn (blue dye typically leaked from denim on the tops of the shoes). I think they should simply accept the situation instead of making the customer feel like they’re in the wrong for not wanting stained shoes. Last time I went I was basically confronted by three staff to just buy the shoes even though I had repeatedly said I just wanted to return them (keep in mind this was right after I had tried them in-store after making an online purchase for them at this location).

I had a great experience with the wonderful sales person Belal. He went above and beyond helping me find the perfect shoes for my trip got a lot of compliments for a grey price, he was very patient and helpful in what would fit right for my feet. He’s made customer out of me forever loved the service he gave. Will definitely be back after my trip for some more shoes.

There is a lot of very attentive service, and friendly service here and they have a great assortment of shoes, it's definitely a go-to-place if you like trendy footwear.

Visited this store for the very first time and i must say i will be visiting again. Vishawjeet was very helpful and patient. Loved the service. Keep it up.

Mahek is skillful, professional and has great customer service. I had 2 great experiences purchasing shoes from this browns branch at West Edmonton Mall. I love shoes over there, but recently I had a problem with the pair of the boots I bought. When I went to the store to discuss the issue, the manager was really helpful and offered me an exchange!

I never buy my shoes from Browns as despite having the most beautiful collection, whenever I go to the store, all the products are pricey, and I go out immediately. Having said that, the other day, I went to the WEM branch, and a saleswoman named Samane with a shiny super-friendly attitude helped me find the perfect new balance shoes that were in my budget range.
So anyone has the same feeling about Browns just ask for her and buy what you are looking for:)

WEM Browns August 1,2022 to buy sandals, and had the best, sweetest sales clerk, Simrah help me. This young lady went over and above to assist me in buying a pair of MK sandals. She was so positive and nice! I did end up buying MK sandals online
due to my shoe size was unavailable.

Just give me my shoes and not upsell me for shoe cleaner! Said no, and you still rung it thru for ONLY $10. How many times do I gotta say no to your shoe cleaner?

Bought a pair of winter women's uggs adirondacks and sent them to my wife in Manitoba at her camp job. They were one size to small and Kingsway mall location sent us to West Edmonton Mall which refused the exchange. Shameful business practices. Do not buy your loved ones shoes or boots here as you may purchase the wrong size and get stuck with them. This occurred Monday, Nov. 22,2021 I am assuming the man was the manager that denied the exchange. Full disclosure boots were worn inside the camp dormitory but she quickly realized they were too small. No customer service here. Buyer beware. I was not aware but another person ended up intervening and did the exchange to the next size. Changing my star rating to 2 because still not good that an argument happened and a superviser/manager had to be overruled by another

Irresponsible and immature employees and manager. Won't be going back here. GO TO KINGSWAY OR THE OUTLET JUST NOT HERE.

I found the staff unfriendly and judgemental. Still waiting for a replacement pair of boots because of manufacturing defect. Almost a week now

Really good selection for men shoes casual or dress shoes little bit pricy but you get what you pay for good quality stuff. Very helpful staff. Would be back soon.

Bought a few christmas gift but had to return cuz change of mind and must say excellent customer service even when i bought and went to return as well.no hassle everyone knows what they are doing.great staff there will be back soon

Great place with great staff! They gave me so good advice with prices and choice of colors for my suit that everyone liked my dress and color match at the actual event.

Went in today with an issue with a pair of boots that I very much love. The manager Abdullah went above and beyond what is normally their policy and I am a very happy customer! When you receive exceptional customer service like this you tend to form a loyalty to a store. I will not forget the generosity and we will be back! Will also be telling friends and family to shop here as well.:)

Jashanpal, the assistant manager and the manager were extremely helpful in solving a problem with a factory defect zipper. They were quick to offer and exchange or a gift card for the full amount. The staff are very knowledgable and service oriented. I will be back and recommend this location to friends.

Thank you to Jashanpal for his exceptional customer service. It was very busy there and yet he went above and beyond to help me find something in my size. I'm a size 12 and so that's not always easy to do. Also I love that they carry up to size 12 in the store, shoe shopping can be such a demoralizing experience for us with abnormally large feet but carrying cute styles in large sizes plus the excellent customer care made it such a fun experience.
