Browns Socialhouse Tamarack

We were there celebrating my aunts birthday who is a senior and was surrounded with all her lovely friends who are family! The management there were extremely rude! As we were singing happy birthday he approached us to keep it down and we are disturbing other customers where other customers were actually singing and cheering with us! Then we had another manager come out and asked to not take photos and we were being rude and privacy for the customers was asked but it was how she spoke to us in a manner and literally made everyone annoyed and especially my aunt who was only celebrating her birthday I will not ever want to go there or recommend anyone else with that being said even the sitting was not provided to us properly poor service and loyalty to us as customers there were 15 of us we all paid the service extra charge fee and paid our bills as customers even after being treated poorly

Well this has been for the third time these guys got a serious issue with placing orders or making orders.
I ordered it without bacon and here it is …. That burger doesn't look alike a crispy chicken sandwich without bacon!
I have no words to express my feeling but yeah at-least a review might catch your eyes, so you start working on it!

Corporation in other locations are nice, food and drink are super.but the 17th street location has a problem with their waitress staff.horrible customer service and will NOT go back. You do sometimes have to "judge the book by the cover" and in this day and age when all companies are competing for the $$$ you can't afford to lose "anchor tenant customers" by bad hires.
Maybe it's time to reevaluate the hiring choices.

Great brunch at Brown’s in Tamarack. Kid loved the traditional burger and I really enjoyed the lumberjack breakfast (with a side of hot sauce!). Chicken was perfectly juicy and the potatoes were awesome. Great service and nice space as well. I’ll be stopping by whenever I’m in the area.

I came here for lunch a few weeks ago, forgot about it, and then I came across the picture I took of my meal. The chicken quesadilla was delicious! The serving size was great and I appreciated the different sauces. I ate here with a group of five and we were seated quickly. Our server was very patient and friendly (I forget her name: (but she was blonde.) Loved eating Browns and I’ll def be back.

Incredible service! My family and i were served by Aleshia, and she was amazing! She quality checked us and made sure we were satisfied with our dinner and drinks! The food was delicious as well as the drinks. Atomosphere was very welcoming! 5 stars to our server Aleshia! We will be back!

My husband ordered a burger that was small and thin. It wasn't good value for the money. He said a Grand Big Mac had more meat. I had a hard time finding anything that wasn't hot spicy which I don't like. The server was great in helping eventually choose the quesadilla. However, it too was hot so much that my mouth was burning. I only had about 4 bites and couldn't eat more. The kale side salad with apple mustard dressing was great and that is what I ate. The quesadilla was also not good value for what I got. The server did ask if I wanted something else but considering how hard it was to find something not hot spicy (which ultimately wasn't the case), I declined. She was kind enough to reduce the bill by 25% since I barely ate any of it. I was going to order dessert but a $14 brownie was too expensive in my opinion. I also asked for Moscato wine, which they didn't have, so I ended up with a red Malbec instead. This was our first visit to Browns and based on this experience we won't be recommending it or returning. Frankly, restaurants that have to add hot spicy to everything in some way aren't adding depth of flavor when the only thing that you can taste is the hot spice.

Me and my cousins were out recently to see a movie in the south of Edmonton. Browns social house was close so we decided to go here for dinner before the movie.
I've been to browns before, a different location, it was a few years ago but it was enjoyable.
This visit was not, the fish and chips are terrible, we are talking like like I could air fry some highliners at home and it would have been better.
Also the fries were soggy due to the oil? Very disappointing.
$25 for seriously subpar food, no excuse for a chain to be serving such poor quality food, also really small portion of fish for the price.
I don't get into Edmonton often so a meal eaten out is a treat and I'd have enjoyed eating a filet o fish at McDonalds more.

If I can I would rate this place a BIG ZERO. We waited for almost 20 minutes on a table and nobody attended us even for drinks. Worst customer service I have ever experienced at Brown Social house, I would not recommend this place. FYI, the restaurant was not busy and the servers were busy chatting and joking around. Will not be coming back to this location.

Today my friend and I had just written our NCLEX (the 5 hour long, stressful, scary nursing licensing exam) and came to Browns Social House in Tamarack for a beverage to unwind. Our servers name was Justin. Immediately upon our first interaction, he was kind and attentive. When we were ready for our bills, he offered to buy us a dessert on his tab to celebrate our achievement. Justin's generosity and kindness are what will keep us returning to this restaurant, and we hope that the owners are aware of what an absolute asset he is to their business. Thank you, Justin!

The food was very good, and the waitress was very friendly.

I'm deducting points for the cost of the food vs the portion size you get. It's just not worth it.

We had a group of 16 for a work team lunch. Everything was great, food all came out together and our server Justin was awesome! Thanks

You can't go wrong stopping into Brown's Socialhouse here in Tamarack.
It feels like a home away from home!
It's my first time to this location and I can confirm its consistently as good as their other locations. So far I've enjoyed Medicine Hat, Alberta and Waterloo, Ontario.
This location offers a beautiful all-season solarium. Food is excellent as is their customer service!
During this trip to Edmonton the food was so good we returned a 2nd time.
I must warn you though.their gravy is almost addictive! I believe they even offer it for takeout!
It's too bad Poutine isn't on their menu.or perhaps I missed it.
I'm hoping to return upon my next trip to Edmonton.

Called and placed an order for pick up. The wait was a little longer than initially expected (not by much) but it was more than worth it. They tossed in a free dessert for the wait and the food was fresh and hot! Packaged perfectly. Very friendly and professional staff. Highly recommend.

Poor customer service. We could see our food ready to go just sitting on the serving counter. We were wondering why our server was not bringing our order to our table. Not once did she bother to look at the serving counter. She was standing behind the bar munching on some food then fixed her hair, still not checking if our food was ready. I had to ask the host about our orders. The host then brought our food to our table. They were no longer warm enough to enjoy. We won't be going back.

If I could give more than 5 stars I would. The food was great and Nav the manager is phenomenal! We have seen him working a few times and each time has been great

First time to this location, actually first time to any Brown's outside of BC. Lily, the bartendress and our radiant server delivered nothing less than top-notch service & recommendations. The establishment is very fortunate to have such a valued staff member. Being from Vancouver and having enjoyed many countless drinks and dinners at the original location and many others, it is fantastic to see & know that you can travel to Edmonton-Tamarack and still get a taste and feel of home. Well done!

If you want a “just fine” dining experience, come to this Brown’s Social House. We got here around 7: 30 and got sat right away despite how busy it was still on a Thursday Evening before the long weekend. Right away we noticed our waiter wasn’t very attentive to our table; However our food was served quickly! Right away my boyfriend and father had severely over cooked steaks. “Medium rare isn’t supposed to be brown, right? ” It took about 25 minutes to get another steak (this is after our 30 minute wait for food in the first place.) Very disappointed especially since food prices are high during these times and we decided to treat ourselves. You can do better, Browns!

Absolutely terrible service from Nav and his crew. No utentils on a take out order, and also forgot the Chicken on my Cowboy Blackened Chicken order. Do not go to this location

Booths and seats are too small. I know I'm fat but it's not so obvious at other restaurants

We went for lunch on a Friday at 1pm and our service was super slow. The food was good though. I'm not sure if they were having an off day or were unusually busy but that's really my only real issue.

I arrived first and was seated right away and given menus and water then I waited 15 mins for my friend to join me. After she got there, we waited for another 15 mins before I was able to flag a server down and order. It wasn't our server but she was friendly and still took our order. She was a trainee and actually a great server. The food came quickly and was hot and tasted great. No one came to check on us and see how our food was or anything. After we were done we had to flag down another server to get our bills. Even though we were in the front area of the restaurant and there were other tables being served it's like our was was forgotten.

Can't believe I got service that good in this day in age, from hostess, server, manager, everyone was fantastic to deal with!

Had a fantastic experience at this location last night. During a busy Saturday evening, our food was delicious and piping hot! Our server Ella was nothing short of amazing. Extra props to the manager, Clint. It’s always nice to see a manager being so involved with everything! Will definitely be back!

What a discovery! Attended lunch with some work colleagues and I am very happy for the introduction to this place.

I knew immediately upon entering, it was going to be a good experience as it has a definite vibe. Very cool, relaxed and laid back.

Our table had the pleasure of being waited on by Michelle who made an already great experience that much better. She was very helpful, friendly and welcoming. The customer service experience is one of the reasons I would return - thank you Michelle!

The food was prepared quickly and was very delicious. I had the blackened chicken Caesar which I look forward to having again.

My mom and I went out for lunch today on Valentine’s Day! We were seated where we wanted. Then we talked to our very friendly server. She was so nice and very helpful with helping us pick out our drinks. Tyeisha was very quick with our order and it came out fast! We ordered the blackened chicken Cesar salad! It was so delicious! We absolutely love the seasoning! It was fantastic! We love to come here and we will be back! I highly recommend this place! Thank you so much for a wonderful Valentine’s Day lunch with my mom!

We had the most amazing service that we have ever had in Edmonton. The waitress/bartender was beyond fantastic just as the drinks were emptied she was right there filling them up we didn't have to wait for our food as it came in a timely manner she was not Pushy with drinks, the food was fantastic as always. I was more than happy to celebrate our Anniversary together at Browns thanks to great food and awesome service.
