Brought my vehicle here from a recommendation and was not disappointed. Repairs were made and have had no issues. Good shop with good technicians.

They did an exception job servicing my car. II had my car towed in and also check inside my gas tank. Jace does an exceptional job and very professionalism.

Due to an issue with the transfer case on my truck I was stuck in Edmonton on a Saturday afternoon. I called BTR and was told they would look at it if I could get it there.
I had it towed in at 3pm, told the fellow up front the suspect issue. They had me all fixed up and out the door before they closed at 4. Excellent service and I would recommend them.

Very helpful staff! Had to come in for a quick fix of a wheel well. They got it done super quick free of charge

Very helpful when I had a flat just down the road. They came to me and filled it so I could drive to the shop. It was also -35 at the time and I had my two little toddlers with me.
Fair pricing, friendly staff and highly recommended.

I've brought 3 cars here in the last week, 2 for out of province inspections and I was really worried about finding an honest mechanic, so I took their reviews into account before booking in the 2 cars. Jason and his staff are exactly what you would hope to find in an auto shop; friendly faces, eagerness to help and transparent honesty. The process was incredibly simple and took only a few hours per vehicle and the inspection form was very easy to understand as they even included pictures. I brought in another vehicle after that because I trusted them to do the tune up and inspection properly and efficiently. I will be coming here again for my regular maintenance.

BTR quoted a reasonable cost for a timing belt job, however they were inexperienced working on my particular vehicle, and caused issues. After I towed the vehicle to their shop for the 3rd time, they worked intermittently on it, trying to fix the issues. As it turns out, the timing belt was not installed incorrectly, and was mis-timed. They had been working on my vehicle for close to two months on an issue that they had caused. I will not be looking at BTR for any future work.

Always great service. Reliable, fast and honest. They really went above and beyond to accommodate me when I was having some truck trouble.

I went in after reading the review to get my breaks replaced, here's the scoop.the price at this place is good, but the old fat guy at the front counter is worse than a used car sales man, sitting there and listening to him talk on the phone and how he deals with customers, he would be giddy and happy to order food, yapping with his chums on the phone, but when customers ask questions or inquired about their vehicle "ahh well we are running late, check back later" another thing is if you need work done get it in writing, or else the fat guy is going to add it onto your bill and then try to push you out the door, like I said price is great but man the feeling you get when you deal with a person like this, definitely won't be coming back.

So i brought my right hand drive vehicle here to get a belt replaced and a a/c recharge.i was very impressed with the service jayce and his team provided.it was done in a quick manner and i was called when the work was completed.the belt was squeeking quite a bit and i moved out of town when it happened.but even 7 months later i took it back and they fixed my issue for no cost.will definitely bring any other work i can to this business as well as tell my friends of the quality customer service i received from these guys

If I could rate BTR auto zero stars, I would. Please save your time and money and take your vehicle somewhere it will be looked after. We have been loyal customers of BTR auto for four years, however their customer service, mechanical work and level of professionalism has been at an exponential decline over the past year. The past experience I had here was a few days ago, where I had spoken to Jace, at BTR auto regarding my vehicle and he had quoted me for some items I was curious of the cost for. I did not authorize the repairs, however was told upon pick up that they had been performed and I would have to pay for them. This was interesting to me because I had brought my car in for a defective part they had put in. BTR kept my vehicle for three days without so much as a phone call or email with an update, charged me for services I did not agree to, which were not performed correctly, failed to fix the defective component they are responsible for, and damaged my exhaust while my vehicle was on site. Jace at BTR auto was condescending and rude upon pick up, and could not address any of my concerns, citing that I should not have asked for a quote if I did not want the work done. Avoid this place at all costs, you're better off taking your car to the dealer.

Very nice people to talk to, and very knowledgeable about the mechanics that needed to be done! Fast, friendly, and respectful of your vehicle, they do excellent work too!

I have a few good points to make.
1. I called in at like 730pm and they ANSWERED! Made an appointment that same time. Awesome for the consumer!
2. Priced very reasonable.
3. Definitely go check them out.

Friendly staff, Good honest service! Personally, I prefer family owned businesses like this over a shop where I can’t trust the values of the people fixing my vehicle! I am confused about the negative reviews here because I’ve been going to this shop for 4 years for numerous jobs on my vehicle and have been nothing short of amazed! I bought my vehicle heavily used with the intention of it only running for a a few months until I could get something newer and these guys have kept it going strong without breaking the bank for 4 years! I am so happy with my service and for the friendly staff that makes this place so welcoming and easy to come back to!

Btr auto has been a great experience overall for me each and every time! I’ve gotten my oil changed and multiple repairs done here and they exceed in getting me back on the road in no time! The staff is very friendly, and always very informative with the repairs that are needed. I am always happy with my service here and look forward to coming back! Thank you Jace and all other staff for such a great experience. Getting your car fixed can be a trip at other places (especially because I don’t know everything about vehicles and have been scammed at other places before!) it’s always relieving to know that the right work is always being done and any and all questions I have are being answered honestly and professionally! This shop makes going to the mechanics a lot less dreadful than usual.

Never ever go here buyer beware. These 5 star ads are fake. Told me my brakes are shot and needed to be replaced (despite replacing them 3 months ago). Went to two other mechanics after and both looked at it and said they were perfectly fine. Guy was trying to rip me off.

Please read carefully, I needed to change strut mount bearing on my vehicle so I called few places. BTR offered me the $433 which was little higher price than other two please but I didn't go to the other places as they are little smaller shop with few mechanics & and decided to go to BTR.

Once I arrived the price jumped to 500 + and the guy who coated me $433 he didn't accept his earlier offered price and he was the owner, anyway I decided to get it done as I drove 200 Km to get it fixed.
I already had the inspection done So I knew what's wrong and the mechanic who did the inspection earlier it took 30 sec for him so he didn't charge at all.
At BTR they charge Extra $60 for inspection on top of the 500+

Anyway when they started fixing it they told me it needs the strut as well as and it would cost me about $1200+ if I get it fixed now. I still agreed to it as I didn't wanted to drive again 200 km.
Funny thing is, they told me that they can't do it same day as they don't have time & it was 3.30 local time & it would take 30 to 40 min for the parts to arrive & they will pass the 5/6 o'clock so they won't fix it, they have to go home. If I still wants to fix it its going to be $180/hours overtime charges & Even I agree to pay they won't do it because he said he don't want to do it as he is the owner & he wants to go home.
So at the end, ended up putting back the bad strut, ended up paying $60 for a known inspected problem & way over price compared to earlier offered price all inclusive 600 +

Where the other shops I earlier contacted they were small but wanted to work and fix overnight & free inspection + less price.

Ultimately I would suggest do some phone calls around the city there are better places to go.
Will I come ever again to BTR? ? Its a big NO

Great shop! Confused by some negative reviews here. Friendly staff. Honest work. Timely couldn't ask for more.

Paid them to change a part on my car. They said that they changed it but I found out later that they didn't. Not an honest mechanic at all.

Scam artists. My father got ripped off for thousands of dollars.
I guarantee you 80% of the reviews here are fake, or people who have no idea they got ripped of.
Scam they do:

1. Will tell you with 100% certainty that what they claim will fix your car will actually not. This happened 3 times in a row.

2. Will tell you they replaced, or test parts, but actually did not.

3. When you come back saying the thousands of dollars you gave them fixed nothing, they will offer you a FREE service to test what it actually is broken. They never perform these "free" tests and just get you to replace MORE things which aren't actually broken.

4. When they fall too far behind work, (because they book anyone they can get even if they wont get to your car for 3 day), they will instead tell you it's some simple fix like a sensor (not actually broken) just so they can get you out of their garage while still making money off of you.

5. And all of this "non-work" will won't be done for 2-4 days after they claim it will be!

I made the mistake of not reading the negative reviews here first. There is too much of a chance you'll get ripped off. If they feel like they can take advantage of you, they will.

Overpaid for services to get rid of an engine light and it came back on the next day. I described the issues clearly and I was reassured they knew the issue. The inspection alone was over $300 and I ended up paying close to $700 for something that didn't fix the problem at all. They did clear the engine light again when I told them it was back on, but told me I would need to bring my car in again for another inspection. I went to a different mechanic because I didn't want to waste more money.
