The food was average, we had the shrimp po boys, which we probably wouldn't order again. The drinks were also average, we had a slushy type drink and an alcoholic peach iced tea. The service was not great, we rarely saw our server and our drinks took at least 15 minutes. The decor is nice, it fits the theme well. They did a good job of keeping tables socially distanced.

If this was our first time eating here we would not be back. First mistake on our order was a plain burger had everything on it.how do you mess that up? Second the pop had no caramel in it or c02. Third we ordered an appetizer and it came with our dinner after asking where it was after receiving our dinner first. They also had no cherry for drinks. This restaurant has gone downhill. Oct 30 6: 15ish 2021.

All I can say was, sadly disappointed. This was our first time here. We’ve been talking about going since it opened and finally did. We were able to make reservations online which is a nice bonus. The decor is fun to look at. But that’s about it.
Service was okay. Not great. The menu selection was the pits. I expected to see a huge selection of shrimp. The choices were few. Coconut shrimp. A couple others. Fried shrimp was sold out. The menu was a printed sheet of paper, of which one side was all drinks. So, as you can imagine, not a lot to choose from.
The shrimp was delicious, I’ll give it that. But the battered fish was flavorless and soggy. Even the fries weren’t great.
Prices were super high too.
I’m glad I tried it but, based on other reviews I see, im sad we didn’t go before the pandemic. Looks like it’s gone down hill since then.

The atmosphere is good.

First time eating here. I ordered the Texas (grilled) chicken sandwich (see first picture) and my husband ordered Forrest's seafood feast (see second pic) and both were really good and served nice and hot. The fries were nicely salted and my sandwich was delicious. I tried some of the fish and shrimp that came with my husband's feast and both were really good too (not too fishy)! It wasn't too busy and service was efficient. We'd go back there again for sure.

Went in Thursday September 3 2021, restaurant was empty. Menu had very small selection. Service was great. Ordered the Forrest seafood Feast, Fish & Chips with Shrimp. Was ok, didnt care for the cheap finger style fish. Was not worth the price.

So the reason for the 2 stars and not one is the salmon my girlfriend had was pretty good but beside that. The food was horrible. This was my first time and to say my last but we were there for a 14 year olds bday. They were very unorganized, the menu is unbelievably small, the service was under par (girls were nice but maybe more training needed) and the food. Just look at my 18$ salad! This was the run chicken run salad and needless to say there wasn't really any chicken, brown apples and lettuce, taste like dirty/soggy socks unfortunately. Very disappointing.

Went to a shrimp restaurant and had the best fried chicken. Friend had the seafood and it was cooked perfectly. Service was great. Decor brought back memories. Only complaint, the fries were too salty.

Service 5/5. Server was very friendly and food all came together and timely.

Ambience 5/5 very clean. We came around dinner time and it wasn't too crowded

Food 3/5 portion was small for its price. I exchanged my fries to a rice and the scoop was very small. The coconut shrimp is must try

I’ve been here a few times now and always disappointed, the food is very so so and the service is extremely hit and miss. One visit recently they told me it was a 30 min wait (even though most of the restaurant was empty and a lot of staff stood around) but ok, 50 mins later I went back as I hadn’t had a text and was told there was an issue and we’d been missed but we could sit now. No rush to go back

Barely any options left on the menu and unfortunately still very overpriced. As well, the little plates they gave everyone for their napkins had a film on them from improper washing. The soup was not seasoned enough. Service was great though.

Honestly, the last 2 times I've been here the food is good but service is terrible. Lots of waiters/waitresses but not attentive at all. Seems like they don't want to be there, no trivia like they use to do either. Don't really feel like going back.

Hosts were very friendly, and the decor was full of Forrest Gump nostalgia. On top of that the food was pretty tasty. Needed more sauce for my shrimp though. The tables themselves could have been a bit cleaner (a bit sticky) but it was not too big a deal. Overall we really enjoyed our casual experience there.

The last few times we've been here it hasn't been great but when we went this weekend everything was excellent.
Our server was awesome. Our orders were correct & the food was great. My husband got the crispy chicken burger & it looked ridiculously good so I can't wait to go back & try that

The starter we had was really good. Both mine and mine husbands main dishes were ok not bad, but for a what I got was not worth the money. It was a little pricy for me.
Usually I'm full but I left this place hungry.

To start, the Covid menu's they are using have next to no choices on them. The drinks were hugely overpriced and the premium Ceaser's which were $12.99 each and were supposed to have grilled shrimp and other goodies with it (according to the menu), only came with a single olive and a celery. We asked where the shrimp was that was stated on the menu and the waiter said " We don't use shrimp in our Ceaser's. The portions were small and weren't the freshest tasting and my whole family left hungry while still paying a $150 tab. The drinks were good so the wife and i thought we could at least get our drink on but the waiter only came to our table once. In conclusion, expensive, small portions, the Cesears are a lie, and prepare to leave sober. _The End_

I heard mixed reviews of this place and decided to see it for myself as the biggest criticism was the music being 'too loud'. Firstly, I am a fan of Forrest Gump and I found the décor a bit confusing as some of it was based on the film and other parts of it seemed randomly thrown together to fill space, which there is a lot of. This is a very large restaurant within W. E. M. Second, the music was a bit loud but not horrible. The Food was not great, and the service/staff left a lot to be desired. We were largely ignored for most of our visit and the bill was exceedingly large given the quality of food and service we were given. I was surprised, and it was not a unpleasant experience though I do not feel inclined to eat or spend money there again. On a positive note, the space is ample and there is a lot of natural light as the wall facing the mall is mostly made of glass, it seems to be a place with relatively consistent patronage as there are people eating there every time I walk by so it may be that my party and I were privy to an off day of the establishment.

Honestly haven't had this rough of an experience in a long time, the beer was flat when we told our server he seemed to think we were making it up, took him over 15 minutes to bring a replacement beer, the chicken was over cooked the gravy was jelly I asked to speak to a manager and was told would be put but he never came we ate less than half our food paid our $85 bill and went to a restaurant with decent service and good food

Two stars is because we enjoyed the food but everything else was a miss.

We had a reservation which was for after our movie at cineplex. Our movie got out earlier that we planned so we tried to go early, 15 mins. Said they didn’t Have a table for us even tho there were clearly empty tables. We wandered the mall and showed up 15 mins later for the time of our reservation and the table was still being cleared.

After we got to our table we got our drinks and food order put in but waited over 30 mins for our food to come out. Our food was the simplest item on their menu. Only fries and a shrimp po’boy.

Menu was so tiny. Prices are so high. Servers didn’t share any history or story along with the theme of the resistant and did very little to make it fun and energetic. Felt like we were not patrons but more like we were in the way.

Food was tasty but that’s it. We won’t be back to this location.

Good food and atmosphere. I appreciate that when I ordered a drink with a souvenir glass that you can keep, I asked for a newer one as the one I originally received was quite old with the label quite scratched, and they right away gave me a brand new one.

Service, however, was painfully slow. Despite the restaurant being over half empty, it was a 20 minute wait to get in, and once we were sat down, waiting to be served was even more painfully slow. I do understand there is a staffing issue, but there were times where we wondered if we'd been forgotten.

For a seafood company this was the worst seafood ever. Had the fish and chips. They came to me as fish fingers over cooked mostly batter. Not fish and chips as advertised on the menu. Manger was supposed to come out and speak to me. Yep that never happened. Don’t go to this over priced wanna be seafood restaurant

Wasn’t happy with it at all. Love the ambience but the food and drinks are WAY overpriced for what we got. 4 drinks, a calamari and a fish and chips was over $100 before tax and tip.

Food - both really small portions. Drinks tasty but the price over the top. Service ok. Server not engaging or fun, but did the basics.

I love the concept of the restaurant, but if this is to be a seafood restaurant they need some serious help from someone who knows how to cook seafood.

Went here on July 23,2021 and I must say has this restaurant gone DOWNHILL. Sad to say because when it first opened my family and I were excited. The food, the souvenirs, the service, the nostalgia from San Francisco to name a few.

First thing I noticed, got there to a completely empty restaurant and immediately was told it was a 45min wait. Very disappointing as we went for my son's birthday. He used to love this restaurant.

After the extended wait, we sat down to order from a very noticeable cut down menu. It Had a fraction of choices to what it once was.

Once we started with drinks, my son always orders his drink that comes in the souvenir cups. One main reason he loved and had chosen this place for his birthday. They said they don't do those anymore.

Once we all decided to order our food, my wife and I wanted the same thing. So I decided to order something else to try so that we could try different items. With the menu lacking, I decided on the steak. What a MISTAKE. Ordered it medium and it was super dry and zero taste. Not even a hint of salt.

Needless to say this will be the last time here. Sad to see it go downhill like this. It got two stars from myself because the service was good. And they were accommodating to allow us to cut our own cake inside for the birthday.

Awesome food, unique menu. We started with the peel n eat shrimp then I had the coconut shrimp (really good) and my wife had the salmon (huge portion) and everything was excellent. First visit but definitely not last. I think our server was new, but he was trying hard.

Service was next to non existant. Food was sub par. Corn tasted like dried out play doh. Same drink. Same glass same size. Main menu $8.99 kids menu $4.99. All in all probably wont go back anytime soon.

I came here a few weeks ago so excited to come here for the first time. Love the idea! Was a party of three on a Thursday evening. Unfortunately was seated at a table right next to the kitchen. I was very reluctant to say anything at the time because I didn’t want to ruin the experience. As a fellow line cook at a premium casual restaurant where we take the current health situation 150% was shocked to see the kitchen staff not have gloves or a face mask. I’m surprised AHS allowed this. Especially at West Edmonton Mall!

Lets start positive the ambiance is good lots of movies stuff. The food is mediocre and service is as well. Coffee was burnt, shrimp is nothing special comparable to frozen breaded from your local grocery store expected better considering the high price tag they charge for their items on menu

I didn't have very high expectations, I didn't think the food would be very good but it really was! We got lots of shrimp that was worth the price. Service was meh, but cool to visit for the novelty if you're into seafood

Ok so the service and food quality can be hit or miss here for sure but I can’t rate it lower than a 4 because I just love it here. The decor, atmosphere and all around fun of the experience is worth it for me. Im a huge fan of the movie so I can’t get enough of this place. I’m usually all about the service I get and how good the food is but I just have such a soft spot for Bubba Gump!

Food was okay, underseasoned, but definitely paying for the gimmick. Food prices were very high for the amount and quality of food. Service was friendly, and really appreciated the COVID measures in place.

Our server saved this from a 1- we had an incredible server. Ordered a burger for our son that looked like it came from the back of the fridge from a month ago and microwaved ($9). My "forests feast" for $26 came with 3 hush puppies, 4 fish sticks and 5 shrimps (hardly a feast). My wife's mahi mahi ($26) was pretty plain and nothing special. The food is sub par to average.
The portions and prices are ridiculously out of line with each other and couldnt be bothered to cook a burger fresh. This is the type of place Gordon Ramsey would be called to help if the bubba gump name wasnt attached, we will not be back there for those reasons.

Absolute disappointment after finishing my apitizer with my wife and kids a table of 4 sat down behind us as my wife grew frustrated after waiting 15 minutes after being told that our food was ready in 1 minute she returned to our room at fantasyland hotel while I wanted for our food to go upon waiting the table behind me that arrived after I had already ate appatizers now received there food while I waited for mine the server was great but not a damn thing was done to apologize for my wait just got my 200$ bill will never return
