I recently got a freeze damage and had repairs done at Buscas. Let me detail the incidents that occurred here. The repair amounted to $6,500, but I am not satisfied with the result.

1. As the shop was an official dealer shop for Roadtrek, I wanted replacement with original parts but they didn't. They replaced the indoor shower facet with a larger size, causing storage issues.
2. The toilet was also replaced with a larger size due to its discontinuation, despite my discovery of the original product online, which they refused.
3. The water pump was left disconnected to the pipe system and nearby place was messy. I had to clean up the mess, including the mop they left behind.
4. The interior wall panel near rear door was left protruding, not tucked in place. It was probably necessary part of repair but there are several areas where proper reconnections were not made.
*5. Honestly, I wouldn't have written a review if these were the only issues. They poorly applied caulking when repairing exterior shower. To rectify this, I repealed the sealant and found out that they shattered part of the box while prying open. Thick caulking was to conceal it.

I have a photograph of everything taken the day before the repairs at Buscas, making it easy to substantiate. I'm rather concerned about undiscovered major issues. Considering the substantial cost incurred, additional expenses might come up to fix these issues. All happened only in one work order. I’m so disappointed with their workmanship.

We spent quite a few months looking for that perfect camper for two now that we are retired. We had a camper and tents in the past and dealt with various dealerships in Calgary & Airdrie including Kijiji. The service was always less than mediocre and we often felt disrespected as two women buying a camper. It always felt that we were treated as though we don’t know anything about campers or the camping life. My partner was even called Sir when she clearly is a woman. We landed at Bucars a few weeks ago and met Lisa! We also met the finance department; the front desk receptionist including the parts department. Lisa is truly one in a million. She is friendly; a fun personality; respectful; funny; kind hearted ; definitely honest and knew exactly what we needed after only knowing us for literally 15 minutes. The establishment is super clean! This is including their bathrooms. I make mention of this because boy oh boy many and most businesses lack of acceptable bathrooms. Bucars gets a 10 out of 10!
Needless to say, we left buying our dream camper and are super excited to start our New adventure!

This place has to have the worst customer service around. I was looking for something in the parts area, going up and down the isles multiple times. Not one person asked if I needed a hand, they just stood there chatting amongst themselves. They saw me. Then I went over to the show room. Might like something new, don’t want the toy hauler anymore. I walked around looking for 20min. Again, no one approached me, I was the only one there. Went next door instead

We had an amazing experience start to finish at Bucars. Dean and Zack were such a pleasure to deal with and so knowledgeable and friendly. I felt like I had known them for years. When we picked up our new trailer, Darcy walked us through it and he was excited to show us everything and so nice as well. Everyone is passionate about camping there and it shows. From sales to finance to service, everyone is amazing!

So we decided to buy an airstream and a truck and hit the traveling road, it was a very fast decision and happened without us having a clue what we are doing. Out of excitement, drive and thorough research, everything ended working out perfectly with the help of this unreal and amazing staff at Bucars.

First trailer/Airstream 30fb Classic Limited my girlfriend and I ever owned and first experience towing for both of us, and as the photos make it clear, we crossed the Rockies first trip all the way to Squamish and it was a piece of cake.

From the first day reaching out to Zack Rodes, sales associate and the one who concluded the sale with a simple message on a website where the add was, till the red carpet and orientation day with Darcy who is just an amazing human being and would recommend keeping him around, Everything was up to code, the equipment, the vibe and we did not feel unheard at all.

Doug, one of the sales associates carried with us the rest of the process, super helpful and gave us his time and showed us the way to getting so many things done in terms of papers as we are not Alberta residents, one thing led to another we ended up buying his own GMC Sierra 1500 and it pulled the 11000Lbs airstream in 7% hills through the rockies like we were not even driving it, and it worked out perfectly as we didn't have a truck for this task, better buy the trailer first then the toy that's gonna tow it.and the overall experience was just super trust worthy.

The rest of the team, from the financial department all the way to Dave the manager, were just fantastic and we don't think we will ever buy/sell a trailer from other than Bucars.

Thanks you guys for making this two months old vision/decision come to life. Really, super glad we went through your center for this.

Can't say enough good about this dealership!
We were 2 weeks into a 6 week trip with our 2022 Sunseeker motorhome and our water heater quit. Called a number of dealerships in Calgary, all were unwilling to look at it. Bucars not only squeezed us in but 3hrs later had completely repaired it. At the very least we were hoping for a diagnosis and have a part ordered. They actually had the part, which was the motherboard.
They installed and sent us on our way. Once again, this was a last minute squeeze in appointment.
EVERYONE there was extremely helpful and considerate! Thank You!

Peter Brown is the nicest person I've ever talked to. He spent alot of time helping me resolve an issue I was having installing a battery monitor. He knows exactly what he's doing and enjoys doing it.
I can't say enough about Bucars. They are the best! Every one I've spoken with there has been super helpfull and extremely nice!

One of the worst - told to come in on a specific day 2 weeks after calling - left trailer for estimate - nothing done after a week - service guy never called despite my call attempts and could not recollect me or my unit.

Bucars could not have been more accommodating and helpful throughout an extended period of time where parts for critical repairs were extremely difficult to locate and even more difficult to obtain. (Out of Bucars' hands entirely.) Once parts finally landed, the work was done super fast. I was stranded, my summer plans exploded, but Bucars did everything they could to lessen the blow and get me back on the road. I couldn't be more grateful.

We purchased our trailer Feb 2020 and had great experience with the sales team since then we have traveled a lot with our trailer and it has had to have a few repairs and the service team is always great and accommodating us and keeping us on the road. Very bad service after you buy your Rv. The warranty means nothing and they don’t seem to care as soon as you drive off the lot.we have had nothing but issues with our trailer since owning it and we’ve used it maybe three times. I do not recommend this place.

Been stopping by here to ask questions and purchase parts and accessories. Staff is very friendly and helpful, even though I am not a big spender looking to purchase a new RV. They still treated me respectfully and answered my questions.

Wow! What a difference working with Bucars than at a number of other dealerships I've dealt with in the past. The staff are on the ball. Great communication between staff, departments, and us. We are buying a 5th wheel and our salesperson Dean is very approachable and not pushy. Sales manager Dave is fantastic in making sure everything is taken care of in a timely manner. Scott in sales is also incredible, proactively engaging with us when Dean was off.
In service, Peter in parts is so knowledgeable, easy-going, and has a great sense of humour.

I will keep updating this review as we are still in the process of finalizing and picking up our RV. So far, every single staff we've met have been amazing. That's hard to find in RV dealerships.

We purchased several items from Bucars on our May 2ed visit. Peter in parts was a pleasure to deal with.he was so knowledgeable about all we needed and was happy to help us out. I can't say enough about the parts department.the service department installed a solar kit on our RV and we were so impressed with how professional the install was.the tech was Dan and he is an absolute pleasure to deal with.he explained how the system worked and how we would enjoy everything about solar. Bought a used motorhome from bucars, that had some issues after we took possession, took it back to have them repaired same issues came back in the spring they took the unit in and had it all winter to make the repairs again still not fixed and they told me that it was not covered and we would have to pay for the repairs ourselves, took it to another shop and they told us that the subfloor was not replaced and the seals on the slides were terribly done
I wouldn't recommend bucars to anyone if I could give negative rating I would,

I was looking for a trailer for a very long time. I looked at several used ones and also was searching for floor plans online. I ended up at Bucars one day in November of 2021. I was lucky to have had David Reid help me. He met me in the showroom sat me down at his desk and began asking me a lot of questions. Like what kind of camping are we going to do who's going to be using the camper, what kind of things do we want to have in the camper, did we have any kind of layout in mind etc.

Then he asked me what we were going to be towing the trailer with and I told him my vehicle make and model and year. He phoned the truck dealer and using my VIN number he determined the build of my truck and the towing capacity could then be calculated.

I had been to a few dealerships prior to landing at Bucars and not one single salesman spent any of the same time with me prior to looking at a trailer as David Reid did. This initial time built trust and confidence.

With knowing the parameters of a trailer that would be suitable he thought of 3 on the lot to show me. It was kind of a Goldilocks thing, each was better than the last. In the third one I thought we had found the right one and I put a deposit on it. I brought my husband to look at it a few days later running through the same 3 trailers in the same manner and he agreed the third one was the most suitable as well. This was an awesome process for us.

The day we had to pick up our trailer it was the windiest snowiest coldest possible day in November and our walk-through was uncomfortable and brief, we also felt it was rather incomplete. It wasn't the technician's fault, it was just a horrible day. We packed up the trailer and took it to our storage lot.

In April of 2022 the Bucars service department called to advise us that there was a recall. We brought the trailer in May without an appointment. During check in they found a warranty issue. The work was all completed a week early. Bravo service department!

When I knew which day we would be picking it up I texted David Reid to see if he would spend an hour with us to demystify the trailer.

David spent at least an hour (maybe 2) with us going over every single aspect of that trailer on the outside and on the inside regarding the electrical, the gas, the water, all the tanks, the connections and the slide. He helped us hook it back up and assured us the hitch was at the right height and the setup seemed easier with him there.

He even showed us how to use our trailer brake that was in the truck.

All in all I must say that the sales and service we have experienced at Bucars so far has been very good. I would highly recommend booking David Reid to take you through new trailers as we found him to be extremely knowledgeable and very willing to part with his wisdom and advice. Although I don't want to have to go back for service on this unit I know it will be part of regular maintenance and I feel confident that we will have satisfaction.

I have David's number in my phone and I know I can text him at any time and he will respond with help.

This is a long review, but when you get service like this these days it's worth a shout out.

What an amazing group of people to do business with! From beginning to end, sales to walk through, everyone was knowledgeable, helpful, professional and friendly. We bought our new KZ-Durango through Doug Belanger who was not just amazing in his knowledge but fun! There was no pressure whatsoever from Doug as he spent time getting to know us, our style of camping and made some excellent recommendations for things we knew we wanted like a solar package, vent covers, etc. While this isn’t our first fifth wheel, things have changed considerably since we bought our last one in 2007 and everyone was patient with our questions and explaining how all the new systems work. (Auto levelling? ! Controlling everything from an app on my phone? ! COME ON!) We both agree that Bucars is the best RV dealership we have ever dealt with and it definitely is a blend of quality product and quality people. We highly recommend Doug and Bucars for all your camping/glamping needs. Five stars for sure!

Just bought a Tiffin Allegro Bus and wanted them to do some work on it! Safety recall notice. Service asked my name and said because you did not buy it from here we wont service it! Imagine buying a new Benz and you cant get service if you take it on a road trip to Vancouver! I was also going to order a bunch of parts from them but I guess I will take my $5K and spend it at a different dealer.

Amazing Team!

I have been using Bucars for buying my parts for years, JC is very knowledgeable and helped me out with my older trailer repairs. It was only fitting that we bought our new trailer there. Wyatt Boucher was our salesman and he was very helpful when picking our trailer. We knew what we wanted and not only did he find it, but it was in stock as well. Every part of the transaction was flawless, even when adding some parts last minute.

I am an entrepreneur opening a new mobile coffee shop (VHF Coffee) in Calgary, AB. I did a lot of research regarding custom installations for outfitting my newly purchased (Ford Transit) van. After speaking with Peter in the parts department I knew I had found the answer, and in the end Peter along with Bucars exceeded my expectations. They followed up with any issues due to the extent of customization (turns out it was a programming issue with Ford), and went above and beyond. Peter's knowledge is based in experience and he has a genuine understanding of technology and RV accessories. The department itself is so well stocked and well arranged, it shows that there is genuine care towards the industry and providing customers with the best of all they have to offer. Amazing experience! We purchased our very first Fifth Wheel and our sales guy Dean Fincaryk was awesome! He walked us through a bunch of different trailers and took his time explaining them to us. We never felt rushed or pushed to buy. He was super informative and helped us make the right decision for our needs!
Linda Simunovic in finance was also fantastic to work with! She made the entire process super easy and painless, she was very honest about the entire deal and made sure we understood all the fine print! On a side note Linda has an amazing personality and we had lots of laughs while finalizing our purchase!
Next up the walk through! We dealt with Craig and he was perfect! There is so much to learn about a new fifth wheel and Craig took his time to make sure we were comfortable with it all.
Then there is Peter in their parts and accessories department and Peter walked us through all the important must haves for our RV as well as all the dos and don’ts!
Overall our experience at Bucars was absolutely fantastic and we highly recommend to anyone in the market for a new RV to go check them out!

As RV newbies my husband and I went to Bucars with lots of questions on various parts we had researched. I have pretty high standards on customer service, but I can honestly say I was blown away by how helpful and knowledgeable everyone was! Despite it being a busy Saturday afternoon, the salesperson patiently explained battery cycles, took the time to understand our needs and ensure we had the rights parts for where and when we would be camping. We were even told about a rebate for the batteries that we purchased to help save us more money! When I couldn’t find the battery rebate form, instead of directing me the supplier, they took the time to reach out on my behalf and send me the correct form within a couple hours. We will be be repeat customers from here on out and highly recommend Bucars to everyone!

If you are looking to buy a weight distribution hitch make sure you check prices other places. I went to buy one here and it was over $300 more for the same hitch that I priced out at 3 other stores. I was told that the prices had gone up this year so they couldn't price match. But all the other stores said prices are the same. Just make sure you check prices so you don't drastically over pay.

We purchased our new motorhome from Bucars in July 2020. It was a top quality experience from start to finish. I can't say enough about their customer service. Our salesman Kevin did a fantastic job in understanding our needs. The office and service departments were professional, friendly and helpful. Since our purchase in July 2020 they have been just a phone call away to answer any questions we have had. When buying a RV remember that there is nothing more important then continued customer service.

Battery tested consisted of telling me the voltage for $35, water leak repair was "tighten the fitting" (no replace the fitting, or apply new thread tape) and cost $50, the de-winterize that I was under the impression could be done with the complete 37 point inspection turned out to be $90. Waste of time, won't go back.

We are beyond thrilled with our experience at Bucars. My husband and I purchased a new trailer and the service from beginning to end was outstanding. Our salesman, Tyson was so knowledgeable and helped us out every step of the way (he still continues to help us, despite purchasing the trailer over 6 weeks ago). He had answers to all of our MANY questions and was always very timely with getting back to us.
Linda in finance was so kind and helpful and ensured we got the best rate possible and fully explained the process of financing and warranty options.
Craig and JC helped us with orientation and set-up. They were incredibly thorough and took their time to ensure we felt comfortable with everything. On our first trip, we were struggling with a few things and they were right there to help us trouble shoot and solve the issues.
With most places, you kind of expect to be forgotten once the sale is finalized - this has not been the case with Bucars- they have been with us every step of the way and we are so appreciative.
I highly recommend Bucars, you won’t be disappointed!

Tremendous service from Dean and the rest of the staff at Bucars. Dean went above and beyond showing us the ins and outs of our trailer as it is our first one. He even stayed hours late on a Saturday night after we had an issue with our trailer brake hook up on our truck. He lended a hand and ensured we were good to go before our departure. Highly recommend Bucars RV and be sure to ask for Dean!

We bought our rv in June 2020. Brian was our sales person and he was good, and we found the unit that worked for us. He told us about the fantastic customer service, which after we gave them our money, we have yet to receive. We explained to him before purchasing that we were concerned about anything warranty related since we lived in bc and we were assured it wasn’t a problem that they had techs all over that can help. We were told we had 60-90 days to make a list of any warranty repairs needed as it was a brand new trailer and even though an inspection was done, things will be missed and not to worry. So that’s what we did, made a list. Fast forward 7 months later we JUST have parts coming our way now. One of the warranty repair requests we had was a huge gauge in the metal base part of our shower which they now claim wasn’t noticed on inspection so it won’t be repaired because they can’t prove it was there before we left with the trailer lol.seriously? So I took a metal object to my brand new trailer and made it myself? There was a 2 page list of stuff that needs to be repaired within the time frame we as we were told there would be so why are they fighting us one this? We have spent months and months chasing Kim who is the service manager to get parts so we could use our rv. He barely ever contacted us to keep us in the loop as to what was going on it was always us chasing him and he always had the same response still waiting. We’ve expressed our frustration a ton as we spent a lot of last Year not being able to use our trailer because our mattress was defective, we have rivets missing in our shower and had to tape over the holes so water didn’t damage our brand new trailer, our door doesn’t shut properly, our drains on the side of the trailer weren’t installed properly so we have rust pouring down the side. Whenever we express our frustrations nothing is ever said or done. We get cut off and ignored. When I expressed my frustration with the customer service we were told about but yet to receive, we were told that they r sending our warranty parts free of charge which we normally have to pay for lol. Warranty parts. On a brand new trailer we were told we only get sent for free as a one time thing lol. Complete bs. We are a young family, this is our first big purchase and we live in bc. I feel that because of all those things, that we are not a priority at all and frankly they just don’t really care. We love our trailer but if I knew the stress and headache getting warranty work done would be I would of never purchased from them. I don’t want to cause drama I just want my brand new trailer fixed and feel like we are a appreciated customer.

I hardly call 2 months to replace a mattress ASAP! We have email proof we sent the complaint of the mattress mid august! In October after hearing nothing for 7-8 weeks, i called and spoke to a manager out of complete frustration of not being able to use my for camper for 2 months as our bodies dipped right down to the board. I then suggested I just buy a mattress locally as I was told it could possibly be a couple more months more for a mattress to come. I got the green light to do that and was reimbursed a portion. I think youve completely missed my issue and frustration over the lack of communication and getting warranty work done that should be covered on top of being told that you guys don't normally pay for WARRANTY parts to be shipped. Thats insane! That is all part of customer service. The missing plugs on the wall in my shower could of been easily fixed asap by sending a couple plugs that costs a few dollars which u mostly had in stock, so water wouldn't get behind my walls in my BRAND new trailer and rot so you can fight me on my warranty. Instead ive spent the last 7 months with multiple pieces of black electrical tape in my BRAND new shower in my BRAND new trailer. Classy! We aren't local but with covid going on we cant just travel down there so abit more effort and communication would of been appreciated.

First off the Covid rules are very prevelant as soon as you go in, hand sanitizer, masks warn, and distancing by everyone. Once we went in we were greeted very graciously by the ladies at front desk, then Wyatt came over to see if he could help. He attentively listened to what we were looking for and said let me show you something. We went out to lot and walked into a Connect trailer, well I might say the rest is history, we purchased the trailer. Then Linda went through the financing with us. Excellent again with her very nice attitude and an absolute pleasure to deal with. 2 weeks later we had an appointment to pick up. Again Wyatt met us there on his day off, told us what was going to happen and wow was the service top notch. Craig walked us through the trailer from hitch to bumper, fantastic knowledge. Then Peter helped us pick up a few goodies for trailer in the store, again he gave us some great advice on a few things. Linda then walked us through the rest of our financing options.
Overall the service we received from start to finish, was absolutely fantastic from everyone. I have been in customer service for over 40 years and this place definitely ranks in the top for it.
Now we can't wait to get out camping and use it.

Have to give Kudos to Bucars RV.

Usually go south for the winter, but this time stayed home. With -40C temps, despite all the prep, the water system in our RV froze last Wednesday. Managed to get it thawed and tanks emptied today. Turned on the pump, turned on the tap. Nothing. Thought I’d have to buy a new pump. Phoned Parts to see if they had one for our rig. They did. Said I’d be right over. Guys in Parts said make sure there’s power at the pump even though the fuse was good and the power light was on.

Sure enough there’s a 10A fuse at the pump – burnt out. $5.95 instead of $200.

All I can say is “Thanks Bucars”, AND you know where I’m taking my business.

We cannot begin to express what an amazing experience we had with Bucars RV. Scott, Paul, Linda, Craig and Sebastian were all so personable, kind and easy to deal with. In fact, every staff member we walked past or interacted with were friendly and personable. Hard to come by these days, was really refreshing. Having had terrible RV dealer experiences in the past, we were cautious but ended up very impressed with Bucars. Would definitely recommend and use them again. Thank you to all the staff. Top notch customer service.

Called in for a door replacement on an rv 5th wheel trailer. Personal that I was on the phone with the parts said they were to busy and I should look elsewhere. I had purchaused the rv from Bucars but I guess on when they sell you something thats all they care about. Good to know will be purchausing our rv parts and supplies at a company that wants our business.

Just bought our first travel trailer from Bucars. Our salesman Dean provided excellent service! He is knowledgeable and very accommodating. We are from out of town and weren't able to see the trailer before coming up to buy, so Dean recorded a video for us showing the ins and outs of the trailer. Dean also stayed 2+ hours past close on pickup day to help us when we had an issue with our truck before leaving. Highly recommend Dean and Bucars RV!

We just bought a trailer today and Dean was very helpful! Great customer service, very knowledgeable and super friendly. Very attentive to what we were looking for and offered great suggestions. So happy to have dealt with him. Did not feel like we were dealing with just a salesman, but more like a friend. Our 7 year old daughter was with us and he even took the time to ask her what she liked, he listened and thanked her for being so patient multiple times. Thank you so much Dean for making our first purchase of a trailer so fun, easy and just an absolute pleasure!

We just bought a new RV from Bucars. Greg our sales associate was very helpful and friendly. On the day we picked up our new trailer Craig and Greg spent time with us to explain all the features and functions of our new trailer. After we left the dealer Craig discovered he hadn't given us the keys to our RV so he drove all the way to SE Calgary to deliver the keys. Great customer service! I would highly recommend Bucars if you are in the market for an RV.

Easily the very best and most professional RV dealership I have dealt with over the years. This family owned and operated business went out of their way to not only find me the right RV; they also made sure that I was well briefed on all its functions. Salesperson Scott Graham found exactly the right trailer for my needs and followed up to make sure I was satisfied with the purchase. The level of care and attention from every person and in every department at Bucars is five stars. Very highly recommended!

Great place to get yourself into an RV whether it’s your first one or 10th one. The staff is friendly and courteous. My sales rep Wyatt was great to deal with, not only during the purchase process but afterwards as well as questions and minor issues arose. I recommend stopping in to see these guys even if you’re just looking. The lot is large with lots of sections and floor plan layouts. The service centre was great as well from what I experienced with my 90 day check up. Thanks again Wyatt and Bucars for a great RV and camping fun.

Parts Department - I drive all the way up from SE Calgary past a few other RV dealers because their pricing is the best in Calgary. Parts Staff is knowledgeable and friendly.

Great customer service.
We haven't purchased an RV yet, but have been looking around for the right one from the right dealership for quite awhile. Craig Holmes was very patient, understanding and did not pressure us at all to purchase. He offered alot of help to ease our storage situation and replied quickly to our concerns. I highly recommend Bucars RV and salesperson Craig if you want a pleasant and friendly buying experience. Unfortunately at this time, due to problems that has nothing to do with Bucars, we couldn't purchase an RV yet but will definitely go back to them and ask for Craig.

We bought a Tiffin Bus at Bucars on September 29 and I must say our experience was awesome. Our salesman was Zack Rode and he was really easy to deal with. We live in British Columbia so most of the deal was done by phone and email, when we arrived in Calgary at Bucars we we’re treated so good. Best buying experience of my life

Buyer beware. Bucars RV, CHARGED $2000.00 TO MY VISA BECUASE I CANCELLED A SALE. I informed them via email and text to finance office regarding the cancellation amd changed my mind about that specific RV. Bucars gave me no reply, and sneakily charged my visa $2000.00. Buyer beware. Especially out if town buyers. I'm in the process of dealing with Visa. Bucars will not answer my calls.
With this sort of business dealing that Bucars has shown. Im so happy I chose to buy an RV, elsewhere. I bought a new RV from one of Vancouver islands largest dealers. They paid for my ferry costs to get back to the mainland. I By purchasing my new RV on the island, I got to use it for a week there and my ferry ride home was paid for! If I end up being out 2000 dollars at least I will never have to deal with Bucars RV.
The RV I bought is a Grand Design Imagine XLS. I looked at alot of RV's. In my opinion the quality of XLS is far better than the unit I was considering from Bucars. Or any other unit I was considering to purchase.

We don’t own an RV but are starting to look and consider. We happened to check out Bucars on our way through on vacation and I can truly say this is the place we will most likely buy from based on the service we received from Kevin. He spent nearly 3 hours with us giving us an education of RV’ing and what we need to know and consider. For the time we spent, this was the best in seeing and hearing about the life of the RV world. If this is indicative of the service after the sale, WOW! Kudos to Bucars on having Kevin there in being sincere and honest with us. We’ll be back!

When we first bought our trailer with bucars the sales experience was great- we thought, wow this place knows how to treat their customers.well that was until the papers were signed.ever since then it has been nothing but headaches trying to go through service to get things fixed.they have caused damage while trying to fix other problems, which caused us to take it back again for repairs from the careless work that was completed. They charged us service fees for something that should have been under warranty, and the final straw was this summer when the thermostat stopped working AGAIN.our calls werent getting returned so I reached out to Kayla the office manager- she was wonderful, she made sure they called back right away.once i explained to the service department what was going on they said they would review our file and get back to us about when we could get the parts in and what they could do to help us and said they would do so within 2 business days. 2 weeks later still no word so again I had to reach out to kayla.then surprise surprise the service department called us back the same day.at this point we decided that buying our own new thermostat was easier than dealing with Bucars service department, I explained to them we had gone another route, they said please let us know how your new thermostat works once you install it and let us know if it fixed the problems.so I emailed them back and told them it works like a dream now and we havent had any issues since we intalled our own thermostat.never heard anything back. Kudos to Kayla for being awesome with the customer service she provided.out of all this mess, speaking with her was the only silver lining!

*Updated - It's now been over 2 months and our 'parts' are still not in. We were told they were in a few weeks ago and we said we would come get them once we returned from holidays, only to go there and realize the parts had been damaged and/or not shipped right so now a re-order must be done. My question is: "When your order comes in would you not check it for accuracy before calling customer to say they can come pick them up? We also talked to service about coming out to our site for repair work and were told they don't do on site work, even though that is something we worked into our sales deal (as our unit is on a permanent site and moving it would be very costly). Communication REALLY is lacking here, and I'm not sure how much support each department really gets/gives to one another.

May still update this review but it's been over two months since we bought with Bucars and they seem to 'talk the talk' but fail to 'walk the walk'. Not sure if this is because they don't communicate properly but they are certainly lacking in some areas.

Our sales experience was good in terms of our salesperson taking the time with us as we made our decision. We spent hours at the store going over the trailer, asking questions etc as we wanted to make sure this trailer was the perfect fit for us as it's the last upgrade we are going to do. (It is a perfect fit btw and we have no issues with the trailer which is like our old trailer.a Forest River.)

However, communication was a bit off when it came to picking up our old trailer and we were left waiting for a good part of Easter Sunday for our salesperson to come pickup the unit. Phone call request to have manager call me went unanswered as well. In the end, unit was picked up and we could be on our way.

The next weekend we went for inspection and most repairs that were noted the couple weeks prior were complete. The other repairs were awaiting 'parts' and we were told someone would come out to our campsite (where RV is permanently parked) to fix these deficiencies.

Service tech who delivered RV went above & beyond in helping us set up, offering advice on where to position on lot etc. Very impressed and 110% customer service right there.

Now, a couple months later we are still waiting on 'parts' and when husband called our sales guy for follow up he received a "I will get back to you" and so far, nothing. This seems to be a trend. I was waiting on submitting this review to see if Bucars got their ducks in a row but it seems there are communication issues, or the sales people are busier with current customers than those who have already purchased.

We are very happy with our unit, hands down. There are some deficiencies we noted in the last couple weeks that we need to put forward to service and fingers crossed they will get resolved quicker than these last outstanding items.

We are still waiting for some seam-tape, inside drawers for our fridge and our dinette table so time will tell.

Recently I needed some help finishing an install on a custom ordered window through Bucars. I was at a loss and worried I was going to miss my sons first camping trip of the year. WELL JC and Kayla.thank you so much. They saved us at the last minute, JC stayed late on a Friday and put his own literal blood and sweat into finishing the install. All the while answering ton's of questions from the boys. Thank you so much, we had a great weekend and what you did for us means so much! You're all fantastic.

We have been very happy with our experience at Bucars RV Centre. We purchased a new RV last spring from Kevin Ketilson who was very professional, knowledgeable and pleasant to deal with. Just an awesome salesman! We never felt pressured into a sale. Kevin listened to our needs and desires and was genuinely interested in finding us a perfect fit, which he did.
While we had a few initial issues with the RV, the service department dealt with them as promptly as they could and gave us exceptional service. Koodo’s to Tatiana and Chris in the service department. They were both very pleasant and efficient in dealing with any issues.
Any repairs that had to be done we’re always done very well. So Koodo’s to your service men too!
JC, we don’t know his last name, spent a lot of time answering our many questions along with Peter Brown in the parts department.
We live in the Edmonton area and though we had some concerns about buying out of town, after dealing with all the staff before our purchase and since our purchase, we would highly recommend buying from Bucars as their service is second to none. We have been RVing for over 20 years and our recent experience with the staff at Bucars gets our thanks and koodo’s!
Do yourself a favor, stop in and check it out for yourselves!

Good luck trying to get service in this place. My husband and I walked around lost for about half an hour, not a single sales person spoke to us. The receptionist was very nice though.

We are from Texas and our main TV stopped communicating with the satellite antenna, leaving us with only OTA channels. Bucars squeezed us in with only two days notice and had the problem diagnosed and fixed before lunch. Dan the technician showed me how to get behind the TV, which is on a televator, to fix the problem if it occurs again. The cigarette lighter outlet up front had blown a fuse and Dan also replaced it and showed me where the fuse box (one of three in the coach) is located. The service was much better than our experience in Mesa, where we took our RV three times before it was repaired. Also, everyone we met at Bucars was courteous and treated us like our satisfaction was important. I’d give their service department another star if I could.

Travelling across western Canada from Ontario and we ran into a few snags. One being a snapped off and mangled sway control Bar on the hitch. After frantically searching Amazon and calling them live to see if they could guarantee anything came to find out Amazon can’t ship any auto parts or RV parts at all to any pick up spots. I found the Bucars RV site on line and text the number that night at midnight. I had a Reply from peter Brown there by the time my morning coffee was brewed! He fixed up all of our issues right on the way and on the spot and it was faster and the same price as Amazon. Peter also sent us with some must see stops for the rest of our trip. Too bad 5 stars was the max!
