Bulk Barn

Came with my friend the other day, she was drinking a bubble tea and soon as we went in an older guy at the counter asked her if she could leave it up there with them. Her not being comfortable leaving her drink around strangers we just decided to leave. It was the most bizarre and rude request I've ever saw, I'm not sure if that guy asks everyone but it's actually really weird cause I never saw someone asked to put their drink at the counter anywhere or time in my life. What a weird hill to die on.

This place was so lit and the people working there were so nice. The candy is hitting me for sure.

I found all what I want. But the staff need more training about the product that they carry, EastHill location Calgary Alberta. I ask the guy if they have he told me we don't have. I just found the product next bin were I was.

My partner and I drive half an hour to shop exclusively at this Bulk Barn. From the beginning of the pandemic the staff have been fantastic, accommodating, and fun! Where else do you get a “personal shopper” to collect all the ingredients, snacks, and supplies you need? I want to specifically shout-out Kasey (Casey? I’m so sorry I never got the correct spelling of her name!) who quickly became our favourite person. She always goes above and beyond to make sure our experience is fantastic, all while being pregnant! Best of luck with your maternity leave, Kasey, we can’t wait to see you again!

Asked to walk around the store before purchasing (not use the bins) was told I couldn't. While I understand the need for the products to remain closed to nonstaff. I should not have someone standing over my shoulder (social distancing? The employees themselves failed to do.) While I decide what to get. How am I supposed to know exactly what I want right out of the gate and I don't want a Stanger standing beside me furring covid while I decide. The other locations have all been much more accomodating to letting us make a list and wait while they retrieve it.

Good selection friendly staff, a little awkward having an employee follow you around and dish out your things for you. But I guess that's how the other half lives lol

Always friendly staff and I prefer this location to the one on 32 Ave for the larger bin openings

I love Bulk Barn and I love this location. It’s always clean, stocked and the staff has been lovely every time I’ve been in. The selection is unreal and the great experience every time I walk through the door makes this place a must go!

I dont even really like sweets in the least, but somehow Ive returned to this place over & over! Fresh & Tasty stuff! I think Bulk Barn found my sweet tooth: D

We just showed up after driving 25 minutes to get to this particular store to buy our son his special diet food for the week and though the lights were in and people were still in the store. The doors were locked and a note on the door read “closed due to weather conditions”. No other stores were closing for the typical - four seasons in one day - calgary weather.

Lots of product. If they dont have it ask. They will go out of their way to help. Nice large and clean store.

Yeah I walked in here a few days back and I couldn't blieve the enormous selection they had, its insane! Also to note it was super clean like REALLY CLEAN. Great place overall I do recommend.

Biggest zero waste shopping option in Calgary. This location has a great selection & is super clean.

If you like to experiment with a bunch of different ethnic recipes you find online but don't want to hold on to an entire jar of whatever exotic spices they require than this is a great first stop in your ingredient hunt. You can just grab a little bit of what you need which is the beauty of this place. Although I'm not much of a baker, they also have more than enough variety in their inventory to look after you folks as well.

This location usually has everything I need. Did find their chip products can be stale from air exposure.
