Ky and his team did an incredible job on the floors in our historic house. Ky answered all our questions, completed the job as quoted and in record time. Our original wood floors look brand new. We would 100% recommend him and his team (and have done so, to several of our friends).

They just finished refinishing our hardwood floors, and they look amazing! Overall a great experience, and I really respect Ky for his hard work and professionalism.

Ky and his team did such a great job on our floors! We bought a new house with very scratched hardwood but still liked the colour of the floors. They did a maintenance coat which took the high shine away and made them look so much better. You can only see some light scratching if you look at certain angles, which we were expecting as we didn't do a full sanding and refinishing. This was such a cost effective way to make them look SO great! We would definitely use Bull Tough again down the road if we ever need to refinish once the kids are older! They were also so friendly and you can tell they really care about their work. Thanks guys!

The refurbishment of the original flooring in my Century house looks AMAZING! There was a lot of surface damage, and its been repaired and refinished beautifully, I couldn't be more pleased with the work. The team were very clean and professional and Ky is really great at getting you the colour finish you want even if you can't articulate it well! I don't want to move the furniture back now, it's so pretty I want to just gaze at my floor!

We just finished a house reno where Ky and his team refinished our hardwood floor, and installed a new floor and large stair in one of the rooms upstairs.

We had a planter that caused water damage, and that part of the floor needed a few weeks to dry out. I feel like most people would’ve just finished it as it was, and call it a day. But Ky tested it, and came back after it had dried out to finish it. I cannot believe how competent, professional and hardworking Ky and his team were.

We had an old wood fireplace and bar removed from our living room, leaving big gaps in the birch flooring. I thought we'd have to replace the entire floor. Ky managed to not only find birch pieces in the right plank size, but he was able to blend it all in perfectly. He and his team then refinished the rest of the flooring to give it an updated beautiful finish. Professional and efficient, they did an incredible job. And it wasn't dusty at all! We had the best experience with Ky, from start to finish. We had this horrible red hardwood throughout the house, and needed the whole floor to be refinished. If you're searching for a contractor to refinish your hardwood floors look no further and just go with Bull Tough.these guys are the real deal. Our project was to refinish red oak flooring and get rid of the "yellow" look. Ky helped us decide on a natural look using a sealer and two coats of Loba Invisible finish. The result looks fabulous and we couldn't be happier.

Ky refinished our hardwood floors a few years ago. His professionalism is second to none. He is punctual, takes great care in the work that he does, and most importantly does what he says. Just recently we had a floor vent get stepped on that broke. He was top notch on fixing this in a timely manner and did a great job fixing the floor vent. When I move and need some refinished floors in the near future Ky will be my first call.

So this company shows up to work at a neighbours house. They park their trucks where ever they need and take up parking spaces for other neighbours. They seem ok to park trucks with large trailers facing
The wrong direction in the street - apparently they do it all the time according to one employee and never get Caught? Seems they are ABOVE THE LAW and all that. As a non customer I find it disrespectful that all us neighbours have to deal with no parking cause the workers need the access. 3 trucks and trailer take up 4-5 spots and force others to find parking... Where ever. Perhaps they do good work, I guess that’s what makes them so Special. They definitely are inconsiderate So much so that the employee asked if I could not park in my spot so THEY could tomorrow. YA REALLY!
After I asked them to at least turn the trailer facing correctly, cause their plan was to unhook just leave it as it was - taking up 2 spots, and leave it In someone’s spot,
they did move trailer eventually... After I told them one neighbour is a cop.
So no good neighbours vote today boys
I suggest if they park in your spot - call 311 and add another

Ky and his team do fantastic work and I can highly recommend bull tough. From start to finish he was professional, efficient and thoroughly answered all my questions. He's been in the industry for 10+ years and knows his stuff and came in below the competitors quote. Would use bull tough again in the future!

What can i say? WOW! Look at the before and after photos and it says it all. We had severe water damage, the floor had lost its seal and looked dull and dirty. I had started detesting the floors and was thinking of replacing them. Now I love them and I am so happy that we never took the drastic step of ripping them up. It took 4 days to refinish 1600 square feet of flooring, including replacing boards with an absolute match. You cannot see where the boards were replaced. I like the concept of dustless sanding. Of course there will always be some dust, but it was not awful. We went with the natural look as shiny floors are out. These also do better with pets. Ky and his team were punctual, respectful, well spoken and a pleasure to work with. The work was of extremely high quality. I would recommend them to anyone that needs work done on their hardwood floors. This was money well spent.

Working with Bull Tough was an absolute pleasure. They were so helpful, knowledgeable, professional and quick. The team (Matthew, Andrew and Ky) sanded our floors and helped us choose the perfect stain for what we were looking for. I dare say Ky is the "floor whisperer". He knew exactly what I wanted and did an beautiful job of it. They even helped my husband finish patching the floor which wasn't a part of the original agreement. The adage you get what you pay for certainly applies with Bulltough Flooring. We paid for excellence and that was what we received. Very refreshing to finally be completely happy with a service paid for in Calgary. Ky provides a very high level of floor refinishing as well as customer service. Our floors were engineered and finished with a very hard topcoat that required extra sanding to remove. Ky and Matt worked hard and finished within the given timelines. They were also able to sand and finish right up to the existing baseboards, which saved me a lot of extra work not having to remove them, and also matched the stain perfectly to a pre-existing colour we had on the railings. The finished floors look amazing. The beveled edges are gone leaving smooth perfection. Initially I dismissed the high rating on the internet as unachievable but I totally agree with the other reviews. I am very satisfied not only with the final product but also with the way Ky kept to the timeline, kept to his quote, and followed up with any concerns I had immediately. First five star rating I’ve given and well deserved, thanks Ky and Matt!

Used the Bull Tough guys to change half of the main floor of our house from carpet to hardwood and refinished the other half which was previously existing hardwood. Both are amazing, the new side looks fabulous but almost more surprising to me was how good the existing refinished side looked. Was debating not doing the refinish but am so happy we did. So from a work perspective, Ky and Matt did an amazing job.

What’s more, they’re super nice, awesome guys. Planning and booking was seamless and Ky’s word was gold. You find that less and less these days but glad to find that with these fellas. If you’re debating, our experience was excellent and I’ll be recommending them to anybody who asks. This is literally the first review I’ve ever done for anything but these guys deserve it. Amazing job. We had our entrance way refinished and cannot believe the speed and quality of the work. The floor is beautiful now and never expected them to turn out so gorgeous. Ky recently refinished my parquet floors. He provided an honest quote and completed the work in a timely manner. Ky provided clear communication over the course of the renovation and ensured my questions were answered. 100% would recommend.

We needed our main floor re sanded and re stained and were hoping to do it while we were out of town. I reached out to Ky based on reviews I had read on line and it worked our perfectly. We arrived home to a beautifully finished floor with little dust to clean up. Ky was quick in his responses and sent out one of his guys within the week when I noticed one of the grates did not fit perfectly. All in all super happy - I would not hesitate to recommend or trust Ky and his team for another project.

After talking to Ky I was so impressed that the project expanded to adding wood to the bedrooms, refinishing the existing oak floors on the entire main floor and installing oak on the staircase.
