I've been coming here for mulch, gravel, dirt, even firewood for years. Always good supply. Good prices and no plastic waste! Really easy process even since they changed the process for smaller loads. Staff is always friendly and helpful.

This establishment is great.i have never had any trouble with customer service or clarity. All of my questions were answered and the staff was incredibly polite and patient. Laura at the front desk was extremely helpful. The manager Mike was also very accommodating. When browsing in the yard i had more than one of the yard associates come and ask if i needed help or if i had any questions.i especially enjoyed speaking with Troy & Moe. The employees have great attitudes.definitely recommend shopping with siteone for all your landscaping needs!

Our company used to orders all sorts of items from Burnco, from de-icer and gravel, to parking curbs and decorative rock. However over the last 2 years, since (Burnco became SiteOne), the service and support has gone down hill rapidly. We have stopped using SiteOne for any service or supplies.

Would be nice to have a price list at scale in, arbitrary charges at scale.
If the scale works why do they ask how much you have? Just paid 204.74 for a little more then a yard of mulch. The operator dumped from 4 feet above the box so the product goes everywhere. Thankfully it wasn't gravel dumped all over the paint on the sides of my pickup.

Had a little hiccup with delivery but I appreciate how it was handled and will continue to use siteone in the future.

Nice place to get your soil any tipe, mulch, topsoil etc even a treat for your dog at the gate nice guy.

The place where you order and pay for the material the employees do not have service education they are rude

Absolutely love shopping for landscaping materials here. We bought the sod for our lawn here. Amazing prices compared to home depot or any other hardware store. Prices for sod was 4.20 per roll which is a great deal. Check out this place if you're looking for landscaping stuff.

It has changed from Burnco, they have made some stuff easier, but for everyday people going there for dirt, rocks, landscape items from what the wonderful lady at the scale said it has become a huge task of waiting in multiple lines.

I think they have great products and the delivery is awesome. I am not so happy with their policies on Palettes. I hauled the thing back in my car after using the delivery service. Didn't bring my receipt but was hoping for the credit to top up the stone that I needed to finish my project. I certainly wasn't prepared to drive the thing back home hanging out of my trunk. They told me there are signs everywhere it's on the receipt to bring your receipt for the refund on the pallet but it would be very simple to just let people know.as they took the time to let me know I was paying for the deposit on the palate would be very easy to just add the comment to bring your receipt. Thank goodness 2 of the front staff were very kind and very kind and looked up my order to find the receipt. The other staff member was adamant and rude. I understand people could return a pallet that they hadn't gotten from Brunco, but I had been in half a dozen times in the last 2 weeks certainly they knew me by now.

We ordered a big bag Mulch last month.it was delivered on time but it was low quality Mulch.there were so many big pieces of cement and rock in side the bag in stead of Mulch.we paid for garbage, Mulch partly was dust that was useless.we are not happy with the product.

It's bad enough that this place closes at 5 pm.but add to this my experience where I battled almost standstill traffic on Deerfoot due to two vehicle breakdowns on Calf Robe Bridge involving emergency vehicles causing me to arrive at the sales office at 4: 50 pm.only to hear them tell me I would have to come back tomorrow because they were closing the scale.which is required to weigh your purchase before paying. Very poor customer service if you ask me!

Girls at cashiers 0 personality. Lacking guest service. Not even a Good Morning or Good afternoon. How are you etc.
Straight to the point. "is that all you are getting? Talking to each other while trying to do the transaction at the same time.
Just thought some feedback would help take it or leave it. These days a good guest interaction goes a long ways matter the industry. Won't stop me from coming the old man at the gate was pretty cool guy. 5 stars for him.

Absolutely terrible customer service. Burnco is staffed by unprofessional employees who treat you with complete disrespect. The last at the scale straight up told me she doesn't care about any of the people in line, as she overcharged me by 33%. I will avoid this place for all future business.

Running a small irrigation company can be a challenge getting product delivered when you need.

Decent selection and options for basic yard projects. Caroline helped me a couple times this week and she was wonderful! Very patient to explain what I needed and knowledgable. However they only sell certain items by the pallet which might not work for all projects (or you will end up over paying). Another annoying thing right now is that their Covid protocols during busy times only allow 3 people in store, and they only allow one person per party in. I guess because they want to keeps sales moving quicker.

Went to pick up a few buckets of rocks. I paint rocks as a hobby, and I wanted to pick my own rocks. I drove in, they weighed my car, spent about 45 min filling 3 buckets full. It wasn't that busy and no one else needed the bin while i was parked in front of it. On the way out, they weighed my car again and charged accordingly. It was super easy and convenient. Will definitely be back

Last year we purchased a cubic metre of garden mix. At first it looked great, but as the summer progressed the soil turned ROCK hard, in fact by the time we went to harvest our root crops (potato, carrots etc) I found the only way to break into the soil was to use a pick. Bad bad stuff, I could just as well as planted my garden in cement.

Beware!

They now charge a $10 daily big bag refill fee. It's also not posted anywhere. You get to find out when you pay for your bulk product that is already loaded onto your vehicle.

Phoned to see if a particular fire pit was in stock. 40 mins on hold and nothing. Finally decided to drive into town from okotoks to check. Walk in and not a person in the building. 30 seconds later I was told it WAS NOT in stock.
Thx Burnco. Suppose the pandemic is your excuse as well. Separate yourselves.

They have an “if you order by 2pm next day day delivery guarantee” so the sod we ordered was supposed to be delivered yesterday. No go. We called this morning and were told it would be a priority delivery today. It is 6: 15 pm and still no sod. It is no wonder they have a no refund policy! Thank you for making my weekend plans change to laying sod!

Always a great place that has everything you need, but at a bit of a premium, but as they say, you get what you pay for

Came here for my backyard project and was VERY happy with the service. Friendly and quick service.

We have been Burnco customers for several years.soil, mulch, stones etc for our garden. From the cheerful and very helpful staff on the phones to the delivery staff who always get the location of the drop off spot on, Burnco delivers. Example: I ordered a bag of mulch on the 5th. Asked for next day delivery and the bag was placed perfectly today, the 6th. Can’t get better than that. And the price was excellent.

I love this place. Any time I need rocks for a project I only ever go here. They are amazing and don't hound you. If you need help, they will drop what they're doing to help but if you don't, they leave you alone.

I'll actually be going there this evening for some more flat slabs for my pond!

I loaded about a wheel barrow full 40mm rundle rock into a tarp in my van today. Went in and paid. Seemed expensive at $28.78 before tax. Didn't think too much of it until got home and unloaded it. I was able to pick up the tarp with all the rock in it and carry it 8 feet and dump it. I opened my wallet and checked my receipt. Their claim is my vehicle weighed 200kgs more when I left than when I arrived. If my math is correct I paid for close to 450 lbs of rock. If I am able carry that much weight (2 1/2 X my own weight) then I must be the strongest guy I know. I phoned to ask how I can deal with this and was told I need to bring back everything. This is completely unreasonable. Burnco has lost my confidence in selling products in bulk. I don't know anyone who has the ability to check a before and after weight to confirm they are being fair. My money will go elsewhere in the future. Never again!

I ordered a bulk supply of product for an early morning delivery, was told the product could arrive anytime after 7 am and to be ready by then. It is now 12: 28 pm and still no delivery. I have now wasted half of my day saving a spot on the front road for the delivery driver who has still not contacted me once. I just called the office to inquire about my delivery status i was told the driver was new and didn't read the delivery instructions and it will be another hour-ish. No discount offered for wasting the day I took off work to receive their delivery, which is $99.00 btw.

This place was surprisingly better than I thought.

Only wish someone explained how it works— find what you want, list the names and how many, go in, pay for it, load it up or get help doing so, have your load checked at the exit. A lot of the items were missing prices as well.

Decent product, HORRIFIC STAFF. Everyone is either rude, checked out, or has no idea what they’re doing. Know what you’re looking for when you come here, and double check your receipts.

Always an exceptional experience. You can drive your truck into their yard, and fill up whichever material you want into containers of your choice. The yard is well kept and accessible. They offer a huge variety of products. It's easy to communicate with their staff and payment is accurate. This is among the best raw material supply sources in Calgary.

Great services for buying any amount of gravel, sand, compost you need from just a kg to tonnes. Unfortunately the prices online are per cubic yard, and the lot prices are in cost per tonne. Also the website showing certain rocks that are cheaper i.e. Red lava rock, vs.black lava rock are actually charged at the higher of the two prices at this location which was a surprise after the weighing scales. For that reason one star off. Businesses need to be able to predict materials costs and can't precisely do so currently. Also when asking for custom aggregate they refused to process material less than hundreds of tonnes, unfortunately one star off for this. Having a Blake aka jaw rock crusher on site would be very very useful.
