Busy Beaver Construction has truly exceeded my expectations! Their craftsmanship in constructing a cedar deck for my house is nothing short of exceptional. The attention to detail showcased in every inch of the deck reflects their unwavering commitment to quality. I'm thoroughly impressed by the sheer talent and dedication exhibited by everyone involved in this project. Thank you very much.

We used Busy Beaver recently for a new wooden fence line and previously for a composite deck. Outstanding quality and delivered on time and budget. Francois, Christina and crew are all very pleasant to work with. Highly recommend!

I want to start by saying the quality of the deck/fence I had installed are solid. The problems we had with them were the timeliness of communication, status updates, undisclosed costs and clean up.
We got updates from 10pm to midnight only, after follow ups with delayed responses. We made a change (reduced the project) and we were told it was fine, followed by increased costs that was not communicated at the beginning.
Upon clean up they left behind cigarettes, over 20 nails and other garbage. After coming back they only picked up the garbage that I had to clean up and I had to deal with the nails. A few weeks later I found a couple more.
I'll finish up by saying while we were extremely disappointed in how things went with them, the deck seems to be holding up nicely.

Edit: The point of contact for the work was my wife, Danieska Gonzalez (invoice #140. The work was done on April 2021). Our busy beaver company contact was Christina. The negative review comes from the customer service. The late hour was an extra concern. Thank you for your comment but the review stays.

We wish there were more stars we could give Busy Beaver Construction. From the start getting a quote with Trent to the building of the fence to working with Christina and Francois, this company is the best. We are so pleased with our new fence. They worked with us to accommodate the big trees we have and made sure everything they were doing was what we wanted and liked. We are located in Crossfield and quite frankly it was a bit of a challenge finding a quality builder to come out to build our deck. When most comapnies were telling me it was too cold and snowy to come out and provide an estimate Christina arranged for Francois to come out and take a look. Francois was excellent to deal with, we had a fairly challenging little space to work with but Francois came up with a rough sketch there and then and we loved it. We received our quote back within days and it was reasonable to the extent of the challenging space, material used and the consistent travel to Crossfield. Christina was awesome with the coordination of the project with super consistent and accurate updates on when we could expect people to be at our place to tackle the project, there was never a missed communication throughout the project, which by the way was completed even earlier than expected. As with all projects they're a couple of minor glitches and they were very minor, but Francois took the time to come out to Crossfield on 3 separate occasions to follow up and ensure everything was on track. In addition to the quality workmanship, excellent communications, and timely completion I have to give a shout out to both Francois and Christina for being great human beings! It honestly felt like I was dealing with good friends throughout the process both were so helpful and personable every time I spoke with them. So a bit of a novel for a review but I can't stress enough how great both of them were to deal with every step of the way. If you are building a deck, fence, etc. Busy Beaver Construction is who you need to talk with.

In 2022 we had a composite deck done by BBC. Deck itself is beautiful but there was a catch. After explaining we had small animals, we thought the pricing would automatically include the deck skirting (no, not included). We then made another agreement for deck skirting work to be done in fall 2022 (signed contract - work not done cause they couldn't fit us in). Spring 2022 despite communication requesting this work be done (no date or contract set) we are unable to get them to come back to complete this work. We have small animals and this was made clear at the outset that we needed to ensure they did not get under the deck. The entire thing must be closed off. So you're forewarned, make sure the quote includes skirting and make sure it's all done at once or you end up with the below. Landscaping with dead grass beneath all this. The point is this could all be avoided with the professionalism expected of this company.

Thank you to Christina and Francois for a wonderful deck replacement. We love the quality of workmanship that was put into the new deck. I would recommend Busy Beaver to anyone.

We had the stairs rebuilt to our back deck, and also rebuilt our front porch last spring and it still looks brand new today. This is an exceptionally well-run operation. We always had an up to date quote, first payment was a small deposit on the first day of work, and did not pay anything more until the job was completely done. Everything followed best practice standards. Christina was extremely professional and pleasure to work with. Issues that arose were dealt with in an interactive manner. I obtained multiple quotes, and Busy Beaver was very competitive. I would recommend them without hesitation.
