While they couldn’t make it out due to high demand they gave me some tips and I was able to restore my hot water during a cold snap! Excellent service!

Super communicative, Travis arrived later than expected but did the work fast, what was best for our needs and we appreciated them being able to help us out in an emergency.

Was delayed because of emergency, but phoned to tell me they would be late. Better than Reliance, who didn't phone and didn't show up. Also was thorough and did a first rate job.

The plumber came on time and fixed my hot water tank quickly. I now have hot water again.

Butler plumbing sent an installer who was not a plumber to install our new sink, toilet, and shower panel. The installer damaged our porcelain wall tile and new shower panel; furthermore, the toilet was not seated correctly and leaked down the drywall in the room below. When I asked the company owner, Kevin, if the installer was an experienced plumber, he replied that the installer was a journeyman plumber and had been with the company for a few months, neither of which is true. They did send a certified plumber the next day to fix the mistakes but only after lengthy debate. A few months later, the shower panel still leaks and Butler refuses to take responsibility for that or the damage to the drywall. Their statement of warranty is not worth the paper it’s written on.

Absolute joke of a company and you're best to use any other plumbing contractor then this one. They didn't even come out to look at my system but asked for a few pictures. From the pictures they started to right away wanting to reconfigure the system and "clean up' the gasline in efforts to increase their invoice because the work I needed done would only take a qualified plumber a couple of hours to complete. They were estimating the job taking as much as 8 hours to do and I'm sure if they actually would've come out to do it they would make sure to use up the entire 8 hours they quoted. No integrity and unprofessional so if you decide to use them and get screwed over it's your own fault.

Butler Plumbing was recommended by a friend and we would highly recommend them and will definitely use their services again. We had a leak whenever we flushed our toilet, the plumber quickly assessed and fixed the problem. Service was of excellent quality.

Technician arrived on time same day as request. Removed old water tank and installed new one in very cramped quarters with no damage to finished walls. Was quick, courteous and friendly. Did an excellent job and left work area clean.

I would highly recommend Butler plumbing. They were very helpful on the phone and fit me in the next day. The plumber that came was early, fast, knowledgeable, friendly and professional. When it was determined that the kitchen link was due to the old faulty faucet he said I could order a new hose or I could just get a new faucet which was much more economical. He recommended I rent Canadian Tire to get a new one and he put the new one in in just 5 minutes. He did that, took out the old faucet and replaced the fill valve on my toilet tank in an hour.

Needed these guys in a pinch. They were quick, efficient, personable, and fairly priced. Can’t ask for much more than that!

Gas fireplace was going out intermittently. Service call was done and a part changed but with it going out occasionally and usually after 15-20 min it wasn’t clear-cut fixed or not. Charged a $70 dispatch fee within the city that wasn’t quoted and then told in the recording of the quote I was told there’s a minimum charge that the total came in under anyways. Obviously this is intentional to word it this way, and there’s only been a few types of companies that record calls and are that used to checking them quickly, always ones that word the quote just right so they can say you were told about this or that extra fee.
On top of that, I gave it a few weeks to see if the fireplace would just start working properly somehow and when it wasn’t they are just like an auto garage that will charge to through parts at it whether it fixes anything or not. A professional would stand by their ability to offer a service and diagnose an issue, then come and make it right without whole new charges if they weren’t able to. I can replace every part one by one as well. You’re just paying for someone to turn wrenches, not standing by any professional expertise. $350 for absolutely nothing changed.
What are you offering warranty on? A new part? Thanks that’s not the issue, you misdiagnosed it and want to throw more parts at it. You’re happy to sell parts people don’t need but not big on customer satisfaction and solving their problem, or you are for about $1500 once you guessed enough times you change something that’s correct.

The gentlemen from Butler did a great job of our new tankless water heater installation. Explained what they were doing and why some things were different than the old installation. They even walked through some maintenance items to help save us money in the future. I would consider using Butler again!

Butler Plumbing has been our go-to plumbing service for years, and have never failed. So when we found a leak in our water tank the day before we left for our holiday vacations (and it was -30C outside!), I made a desperate call to Butler hoping for a quick fix. To my pleasant surprise, Chelsea managed to schedule a tank replacement on the same day for us despite being fully booked. The techs (Bryce and Randy) were very efficient and professional, as usual! We were thrilled that we didn't have to leave our house with a leaky tank for a week!

(one week later). And when we found out that the hot water capacity was lower than it should have been, Travis (who has been taking care of our Rani system since we installed it) was able to identify a loose a wire and fixed the problem. AND GAVE US AN INVOICE FOR $0 (zero$)! He didn't charge for dispatch or his time. Clearly Butler plumbing and their staff take pride in their work, and it is not done until it is done right! Thank you!

Tech came to inspect and service my gas fireplace. Showed up on time, actually a little early. Did a great job. Answered all my questions. Took care to keep the work area clean. Will use again for sure. And rates were quite reasonable.

We had to call out help on Boxing Day due to a leak we found on our outdoor tap. Even although there was a part need to fix the problem Mark was very helpfully getting us set up so we at least had the leak stopped but still had water in the house to use until the part could be sourced. He then showed up a couple of days later part in hand and completed the repair without having to tear in to our newly renovated basement walls or ceiling. Our hero.

We searched High and low for someone to look at our radiant heating system, and only Butler was capable of handling it. They were efficient and fast, and we were very pleased with the service! Our technician was amazing! I highly recommend to anyone who has plumbing needs!

Emergency call at 9pm. Phone answered immediately with a promise to be out within the hour.which Dave was. The sewer back up was rectified with the 2 hour service call frame and Dave went on to repair a kitchen sink to fill in the time. Can't get any better than the honesty and knowledgeable service we received. They are my new plumbers no doubt about it.

Received a detailed estimate on a job to replace a drain line and bring up to code in a 1957 built house just from photos I sent in an email. Ended up using a contractor supplied from insurance company but would not hesitate to use butler in the future.

Installed outdoor gas hookup for BBQ and fire bowl, and converted my propane fire bowl to natural gas for me with the conversion kit I bought online. Very nice service.

Travis did a very neat repair to a leaking pipe.

The technician arrived earlier than expected, was knowledgeable, had the part with him and was in and out of my home in 20 minutes. Couldn’t ask for more! He even confirmed he was vaccinated so I felt safe to have him in my home.

The hot water tank crapped out overnight, and after calling in the morning, they sent someone (Travis) over by 1PM today. He was on time, professional, and polite. He worked very well to replace and then reinstall the new tank. He even had a chance to make a constructive comment on the furnace maintenance and change out the filter. Done in just over 2 hours. All looks good. Pricing reasonable (as per what I read in blogs for what to expect in pricing) Thank you!

We've used Butler numerous times over the last 9-10 years at our current and previous house. They've done both plumbing and gas work for us. They always do a great job in a reasonable amount of time. My furnace went out over the weekend. I called them Monday morning to check out what was wrong. The repair tech found a burnt out fuse, fixed it and then proceeded to fix the wiring that caused the issue. All done within 2 hours. Price was great, but service was better. Highly recommend

My electric water heater was not providing any hot water. The technician -Travis from Butler Plumbing arrived to find out why and to fix it. It was very important to me to know everything I could about the hot water heater - what was wrong and how it was going to be fixed. Travis was very qualified to do the work and patient as I asked a number of questions. This was a very positive experience.

I've had Butler do a number of things at my house (bathroom renovation, hot water tank install, soft water system install) and they have consistently been professional, knowledgeable, and courteous. There was one person I dealt with who was none of those things, but my understanding is that they are no longer with the company. Everyone else has been great.

We are repeat customers here and are very happy with the service provided! They call before arrival, came, cam Covid protected and Graham did an excellent job of installing multiple projects (toilets, faucets, sink hook up). He was both very friendly and very knowledgeable! The plumbers are as professional as they come and maybe we just had bad luck with the work they did, but after paying near a $2000 to do some repair work for us, nearly everything had the same problem again less than a month later and they wanted us to pay to have repaired a second time. They also charge a minimum fee of $200 for the first hour (even it's just a 15 min job), so maybe look else where for smaller simple jobs with people who will not charge you twice to fix the same problem.

I have utilized Butler now for several years for different services, from leaking pipe repairs to a major overall of my in floor heating system which included total replacement of hot water tanks and other related issues. They have always responded expeditiously to calls for emergency services and continued maintenance to my plumbing and heating needs. I recently used their services for installation of a UV product which I am hoping will cut down on some of the impurities in my household air generated of course by my furnace and air conditioner. The Butler employee who attended and completed the install and whom has been to my home to do other work was his usual pleasant self and after the installation explained not only the process but the follow up required by me as the homeowner (warranty explanation etc should it be required). I have chosen NOT to name this fellow as it could result in others determining what a great asset he is to Butler and requesting his services which could result in myself trying to secure him for future endeavours but I am unable to get him when needed as other consumers are also asking for him. Butler knows who was here and I’m sure appreciate having not just a great employee but also a terrific resource. Cheers Butler.

Butler installed a natural gas line outside our house. Kevin was prompt and provided an accurate and fair quote. They two-person installation team were professional, charming, relaxed and good natured, and did an excellent job. They took care to keep a clean worksite, and double-checked the yard for any errant metal shavings by using a magnet across their work area. We enjoyed having them at our home for the day and would welcome them back for more gas or plumbing work in the future. Thanks Butler!

I have used Butler Plumbing a few times and I wouldn't hesitate to very highly recommend them! My recent problem had me calling their office as soon as they opened. Their lady was extremely helpful and friendly - she really went above and beyond to have the leak fixed as soon as possible. I phoned at 9 A. M and, by noon, the problem was fixed! The technician was on time and very very considerate of the precautions necessary to enter the home because of a critically ill person living there.
