Butter Beauty Parlour - Bankers Hall

Sometimes I want pretty nails but don't have any ideas. Sally is always willing to make a recommendation, and her choice is inevitably 100 times better than anything I could have thought of. I would recommend Sally's services without hesitation.

Excellent service! Will be coming back soon and will recommend their services to our family and friends.

So I've reviewed the response from the business owner and I have to say I am appalled. This is very poor customer service and clearly the business does not aim to accomodate customers. Perhaps they should have actually read the review I posted before trying to defend their unfair charges. I clearly stated that I called when I was going to be late. I didn't ask them to return, they told me to return in 45 minutes as that was when they had me booked for the other 2 services, I wasn't there with my daughter (I have a son). I could go on but this is ridiculous. This is even worse than before their response. Their website states that customers "may" be charged the full cost of services that are missed. They clearly need to reword if this is sone without consideration. The last sentence of their response says it all! Worst business I've ever dealt with, they should be ashamed of themselves!

Do not book any appointments here unless you have money to throw away for services you don’t receive. I booked 3 services here. Due to circumstances that arose I realized I would be late; I called to let them know and they said it was okay and they would try to get me in as soon as I got there. When I got there they said they could get me started but for a different service than the one I had booked. That wasn’t the service i wanted so I declined to have that done. They then informed me that they had booked the other services at a different time and I would have to return for those. They let me know nobody would be available to do the first service i had originally booked. I left and wasn’t able to return. They billed my credit card for over $200 for 3 services I did not receive (after I arrived late and they said they couldn’t provide that one anymore). I called them of course and they insisted that is their policy and they wouldn’t be willing to do anything about it. They didn’t just charge a cancellation fee, they charged the entire cost of 3 services that I did not receive. They cited the inconvenience to their technicians and how they deserve to be paid. So they would have a customer pay the full cost of services not received and pay a technician for work not done. I completely understand that I wasn’t able to attend my appointment and have no problem paying a reasonable cancellation fee but charging my card on file for full cost over $200 to pay for no service received is ludicrous. I spoke to the manager and she didn’t care either; I explained my circumstances and after a long phonecall she agreed to refund the cheapest of the services which was $39 of my $200. I was a new customer and would never book another appointment there. Life happens and people should operate within reason. No consideration given by the business for customers’ circumstances and expecting customers to pay 100% of the cost of services not rendered to pay staff full fees for work not done. I will never book there and would never recommend to anyone. Cancellation fees are fine but this is just robbery!

Karina did not disappoint! I came in showed her what I wanted which was a lot of length cut off my hair (approx 5 inches off) with layers and that is what I got. Needless to say I will be a repeat customer! Looking forward to seeing Karina again in the near future for my cuts and styling and occasional colour. The salon itself is a 5 star experience as well!

Miranda was so amazing! I came in for a lash lift and tint and I absolutely love how my lashes look. Miranda was so lovely, incredibly friendly, and she talked me through the entire process. I will definitely be going back to see her again!

Karina is always professional and engaging in a positive way. Her technique and precision with which she cuts and styles my hair is always above and beyond excellent, with amazing results every time!

She is very quick to assess my needs based on hair type, which style will suit me, with really great suggestions/options, producing a very refined and polished look that lasts for a reasonable amount of time.

As my hair grows quickly, I appreciate that Karina takes into account layering, texturixing and right length to suit me. I feel really pampered and enjoy the atmosphere, while feeling at ease, enjoying a coffee or refreshment.

It is the ultimate experience and one stop shopping for my hair and beauty needs. Thank you Karina for making me feel special!

Must see Dr. Astrid! Not only is she so knowledgeable about everything she does but she is the most kind sincere human being. She’s a must see if you need any sort of medical aesthetics!
