I don't think these guys ever learned how to answer a phone. I'll just take my business to Bass Pro Shop.

Same as bass pro brilliant shopping experience. Allow 3 to 4 hours if you love outdoors hunting and fishing.

Shopping for waders and John was super helpful. Was at Bass Pro earlier and received almost no help.

Friendly, helpful staff. Lots of options for your outdoor needs. Well organized displays make it easy.

The store is my absolute favorite. Always well stocked, great deals, ammo always available when needed, even in busy seasons. Don't miss the fudge shop!

This years Santa was a little disappointing. Not the regular guy, but once the kids see him, that's it for the year - we still bought the memory pack as we don't parade to multiples a year, kids notice differences.

We went for a curb side pickup of an online order and had a perfect experience. Employees are friendly and courteous despite the crowds that were there. They had the order out within minutes of our arrival and provided a sanitized pen for us to sign off on the purchase for while our order was loaded into the back of our vehicle for us. Great service - we will definitely be back again!

If I could give more than 5 stars I would, they definitely deserve more! Fantastic customer service from Dave and the whole cabelas team. We bought a grinder in August and a bolt sheared on it today mid grinding. Exchanged it for us very promptly so our meat wouldn’t go bad.

I bought a bow here during the black Friday sale. I had Cayden in the archery dept help me out and he was amazing to deal with. He had excellent customer service and was very knowledgeable in archery. If you have archery questions definitely ask for Cayden

I tried to get information on handguns but could not get any help. I am 69 years old but got no respect from the lazy clerk.

Brand new store. Full of everything you would expect from a Cabela's/Bass Pro Shop. Prices are high but you get what you pay for. Good clean shopping experience. Great place to get Santa pictures.

Bert helped me tonight look at some ice fishing tent options. He was super helpful with a topic im not knowledgable in and very friendly.

You would think on a $1000.00 sale of scope and rail and mounting rings they could throw in some flip up caps for 70 bucks? But no.

First time in a Cabela's. Huge selection and had everything I needed for my trip. Handy to have near airport when I arrived.

I like to call this Lil USA. This place is the definition of conservative folks wearing MAGA hats. But in Canada.

Honestly love this place in all seriousness.

Online order was pretty quick. Ordered Thursday and received package on Tuesday after the long weekend. Thanks Cabelas! Will continue to order online!

First time going and my god. Will not be my last trip. Get ready Cabela's. Y'all gunna hate me soon enough

First time going there, allot of interesting items. When i have more time to spend i will be going back with a list of items.

Hard to get service in some areas of the store. Prices seem higher than their competition, who is now out of business, too bad!

Guy on the phone for gun counter was a bit of a dink, treated me like i was dumb. Sometimes people ask questions to confirm things they know.

Good ordered online. Go to customer service. Out the door in 5 minutes with my order. Nice quick painless

It is the greatest store in the world. My wife mentioned that we have been here 3 times in the past week, like it was a bad thing. I replied, "we really should try and come here more often! "

Love this place. Needed to fix my tent poles and they were the only place that sold replacement tent pole kits. I bought 2 @ $8.99 each. Wish I knew that they sold these kits before I threw out my other tent.

Had a bit of an issue with poor customer service, won’t go too into detail but I was strung around and promised things that weren’t possible.

I had Russ the fishing lead take care of me! Rob and Ralph and Mitchell at the gun desk were also helpful in resolving this! They more than took care of me so I am appreciative of that!

It's a great store with amazing size and huge variety but there is almost too much. Not enough staff and not enough knowledge of product.

Finding things is difficult when you don't have a good knowledge of what and where things are. It takes too long to find it yourself (cause the place is enormous) and when you do ask someone it takes at least 3 people transfers to get a straight answer. Even then the staff seem standoffish if you aren't part of the "club"

Went in today to purchase my first bow, staff was very knowledgeable and helpful.
Not sure why anyone would purchase a bow anywhere else.

Personally, I think hiring one of your more recent employees might have been the worst decision Cabela's Calgary could've made. But I guess if you want a terrible person as an employee, go for it! Hint: he hasn't worked yet.

Awesome selection but most importantly, the customer service and atmosphere is top notch. Great staff and service! Definitely recommend for any campers or hunters.

A big thank you to Rossco and Clayman. They were very transparent (honest) and friendly staff who helped me pick out my first shotgun! You guys did an amazing job despite the hectic line of people waiting to be served. Thanks again!

Always worth a trip to spend a pay cheque. Great store and attentive staff. Got asked if I needed a hand in almost every section of the store. I enjoyed my time in the store.

Great service throughout the store, helpful staff and Rod in archery is absolutely a beauty. Took so much time to re set up my bow after it was set up poorly and incorrectly at another store. Took the time to teach me the basics of archery made sure I did it properly while shooting. Can't say enough about the level of service he provided today. Well worth the drive from red deer and will be back again!

Its busy I waited in line for some time waiting to look at some firearms. No leupold optics in the store.

Picked out 2 new fishing Rods. I had a lot of help with accessories from one of the gentleman that works there. "Can't remember his name" but, very friendly good experience

I've always had a great experience here, helpful staff and very reasonable when returning unwanted merchandise!

Always a fun place to shop for all your hunting and fishing needs, I hope they get the fuge shop up and running soon.

This is a good store for outdoor gear. The prices are fair and there is plenty of inventory. Staff are usually helpful. In the midst of COVID, however, they are openly allowing shoppers to enter and shop at the store without masks. Counted maskless 4 people within my 10 minutes in the store, including 2 that were chatting with store staff on Mar15,2021. If you don't want to risk your health shop elsewhere as this store does not care about following the law nor about the health of its more vulnerable patrons.

Always fun to see what's new here. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Covid19 protocols are enforced here. Wear your mask for entry.

Sections are well organized, staff is prompt in helping out. We've found what we needed quickly and prices were competitive. As a family learning the ropes on outdoors activities and trailer life we were able to find several items we needed.

Great fishing, good selection of Tackle. Would be 5 stars if they kept fly tying gear stocked.

Poor service, didn’t have product in stock and the fishing guy had no idea about fishing equipment.

Canceled parts of my order without telling me. I called the store multiple times to find out what was going on. Eventually had to call the 1-800 number to find out my Gun Cabinet i ordered was canceled for stock reasons. Not a single update as to my order just a "come and pick up your other stuff before we send it back" well i canceled my order and i'll be avoiding cabelas as much as i can.

Store has the best selection of multi tools I have seen in Calgary. I have been shopping for one for a little over a week and they had by far best selection. I am giving 3 stars because the associate was nice but lack knowledge of product's. I didn't fell he put any effort to sell me anything.

Service is often pretty good, sometimes I question if they know exactly what they're talking about. When it comes to hunting, generally try to look for the old guys.

Did not have a pleasant experience on our most recent visit to the store. I had purchased a bow for my daughter at Christmas from Cabela's and was told to bring her back with it to get it set up for her.

We decided to go over this evening to do so. When we got to the store we walked in the front door and walked past the employee that was doing store counts and said hi, walked to customer service and stood there for 5 minutes but they were busy with a customer so decided to walk to the back and speak to someone in Archery. There was a gentleman there by the name of Rod that came out from the back and was quite short and angry with us. Stating we were supposed to check the bow at the front and why are we walking around around store with it. First of all we walked past 3 employees at the front and no one of them said anything to us. It's not the customers responsibility to know what the store policies are. Perhaps it would be a good idea to train the employee working the front door so they can inform the customers of what to do when they bring in a bow.

After getting angry with us Rod then made us walk back to the front door with the bow (seems kind of weird to me that he was angry that we walked the bow to the back ourselves but was okay with us walking it back to the front ourselves). When we spoke to the front desk they then called back to the archery department and they told us that they have no time to help as they were closing in 40 minutes.

I think we will be going to the Calgary Archery Centre to have the bow set up and purchase any accessories and arrows that we need rather than deal with unpleasant people such as Rod.
