Cute brunch spot! They even extended their brunch time to accommodate for our group coming from Calgary!

The food was amazing, and matcha dulce latte incredibly delicious. It was fairly busy for breakfast, so did take a while to order but servers were very friendly and kind making it my new favorite place:) Merci

The food was tasty. The service was friendly and professional. I am happy to recommend this restaurant to my friends and family.

Pleasantly surprised with the quality of food, we had Beef with thousands of flavours and arctic char.
Fish was next level, and beef was super tender

Deserts are also done with care, not your usual sugar punch, very tasty!
We stayed in the dome which had a Christmas tree inside and the atmosphere was pretty amazing!

Take in the Thursday Night Music Concerts (Patio Series during the summer and early Fall) and check out the menu at Cafe Bicyclette. Bicyclette Burger goes well with any type of music. Music continues indoors through December.

Coffee and dessert. Music sometimes, really nice vibe there. Live music Thursday evening on th patio. Summer series. Great breakfast and lunch place and dinner.

Such a nice pup friendly patio area here. Appreciate the delicious plant based options and good coffee! Our last time here we were accidentally served eggs and dairy after ordering vegan, but our server was super quick to swap it out and went the extra mile to make it right. The veg omelette is SO good. Vegans/folks with food intolerances, just be extra clear when ordering. Will definitely be coming here regularly! Thanks.

Great coffee and breakfast food. Cool French vibe. I think. I've never been to France.

I had to prompt the waiter by getting up and ordering another coffee. Once we were finished the waiter came over multiple times and topped up waters and engaged in conversation with us and allowed us to stay and chat at the table with courtesy.

This place has really took a downturn. It looks like the owner doesn't care about their employees and clients anymore. There are now better options close-by.

Hopefully many more new patrons are attracted to your restaurant that continues to promote a healthy life with Covid safety protocols.
To replace any previous or 'pretend' patrons who have exhibited verbal 'n physical negativity.

Wonder if these same negative peoples react similiar with businesses that have in the past posted signage, "no shirt, no shoes, NO service! "

Not a very nice atmosphere and it took forever to receive food and it was cold on arrival. Expensive too.

Such a lovely location with a beautiful patio and cozy indoor seating. Close to the Mill Creek walking trails. Omelettes are fantastic as are the soup and croissants. So glad that proof of vaccination has continued at this location.

This place is absolutely terrible. From the very moment we walked in, we were greeted by a very forceful vibe of authoritarianism. They grilled us on our vaxx status, demanding to see our NaziPasses and insisted my mother, who's 98 years old, wear a surgical mask despite the fact that she is on oxygen.

We only stayed because it's very difficult for my mother to move around and we didn't want to put the extra strain on her.

The food came an hour later, delivered by a dismissive young lady with so many tattoos and piercings I don't doubt she shoots up in the bathroom.

The food was cold, dry, and overcooked. We spoke up about it but got nothing but denial and a verbal push by the manager to settle our bill and leave. I will not be returning.

Absolutely embarrassing that you STILL think that un-vaccinated means diseased and vaccinated means non-diseased. Your establishment should be ashamed for segregating Edmontonians. Unbelievable

Just watched the news, and I want to show my support for u guys still sticking on the policy of vaccination.people always forget the consequence of opening early last year.

First time having breakfast here. It was amazing! Also not a coffee drinker but decided to give the mocha a try based on how beautiful it looked, also amazing! Will definitely be back!

Nice space with lots of French charm. A solid choice if you're in the area. The food is good, service is standard. I like it!

The staff there are great, and the food is AMAZING! I love everything I've tried, but the Croque-Monsieur is by far my favorite!

October 9,2021 Update: Today my husband and I visited Café Bicyclette for the last time. Last year we ate at here about 8 times, spending at least $60 per visit. We really enjoyed the food and venue. Service was on the slow side but we were okay to relax in the outdoor patio.

Today, we visited again after being away since last year. We waited at the main entrance for 10 minutes without being greeted. I had to walk into the restaurant and approach a female staff member to ask to be seated.

She seated us and said she would be back with glasses of water. She never returned.

We arrived at 2: 30 for a late lunch. We wanted the menu with the sandwiches but were given the brunch menu. We waited for another 15 minutes for either water or the waitress. She never came to our table but we watched her serve two other parties who arrived after us. We waited another 5 minutes then decided to leave.

I walked into the restaurant and handed the brunch menus to the waitress and said we have been waiting for water and others who arrived after us had been served. She said nothing! Not even 'sorry'! Unbelievable!

I was so disappointed! We used to live Café Bicyclette but after this experience we will never return.

This is a gem of a spot! Café Bicyclette is located in the heart of Edmonton's French quarter and it's menu reflects this. We stopped in for a light lunch and were very impressed with the authentic St-Viateur bagels. Their poutine is also more authentic than any we have had here in Edmonton. We loved the comfortable atmosphere and friendly wait staff. A definite go to!

I've had the dirty chai, and a decaf espresso latte and both were so yummy! Would highly recommend the dirty chai! I had a sandwich as well which was excellent.
The vibes here are good, cute inside with lots of natural light. The staff are pleasant and there's lots of seating. If you haven't come here yet, you should!

Worst experience I've ever had. There are about 10 tables on the inside, and only about 3 were taken. Staff said it would be about 15-20 minute wait. We waited for 30 minutes and came in to ask if we can sit down. They said that kitchen is backed up and it will be a long wait for the food, we asked if we can sit anyways to wait inside, they said sure. We waited 20 minutes for them to bring some water and then 10 more to bring menus. It looked like kitchen was doing just fine, they had 5-10 dishes waiting to be taken. But oh my God are servers slow. There was at least one person who was just standing doing nothing. When we ordered food and drinks we asked if drinks can be brought first. We got our food pretty fast, maybe 30 minutes. It was pretty good however eggs tasted like rubber. My mom never got croissant, and her drink was served in plastic cup, they said they ran out of normal cups, however all the drinks after ours they served in normal cups. My mom asked if she can get a cup but they said no. My dad got wrong drink. We paid way too much for the kind of service we received. Staff was rude and again, VERY slow, considering that they weren't very busy. And again, it looked like kitchen was doing just fine, and there were always at least 3 dishes waiting to be served, some stayed there for 20 minutes.
I will not be coming back here. If you want to receive decent cervice, you should come when there are barely any people, but I do not recommend this place whatsoever.

Awful service, rude staff, waited forever to be seated even though they had at least 10 free tables. Brought wrong dish, and never brought another dish.

I have been here a few times, including today for some brunch! It was super yummy except the portions are way to big, but The Friendliest staff I have ever seen! So busy for only 2 servers!

What a disappointment! Not wheelchair accessible area at all. Came there with my sons for brunch and could not get my son's wheelchair down the hill. The tables up the heel we could access denied from service by café stuff. Nobody could clearly explain how we can access the elevator. Would not recommend this place if you have reduced mobility. My son was so frustrated: (

A beautiful sunny afternoon on the patio with amazing espresso vanilla ice cream combo and a bree chicken sandwich. I highly recommend visiting and trying something new. Our server was awesome, funny, witty and made fantastic suggestions.

Lovely spot, always delightful staff but the kitchen can occasionally get bogged down when too many people show up at once. Be patient and enjoy the atmosphere and you'll love it.

I had the vegetarian sandwich with a side salad, it was delicious. On my previous visits to the Cafe the service was lacking, tonight the service was great, food was delivered very quickly. The music was amazing. It's such a great spot to see live music.

Excellent café with a decent variety of tasty food options. The location is very cozy and quiet with the outdoor patio being in a westward facing recessed bowl at the La Cite Francophone, so no road noise, afternoon sun and some protection on windier days. Is suitable as a year round outdoor dining experience, which is rare in Edmonton. Staff is super friendly. Always a treat to visit.

I was there last weekend where it was a truely poor showing by the staff whom seemed to be about 8-10 people continually congregated by the bar and rarely waiting the tables. Took about two hours to get a meal. Had to get up to request the bill as the staff stopped by twice over the course of the meal. If you choose to visit this place expect to spend two or three times as long as anywhere else.

4 occupied tables. 3 servers on. Took 15 minutes to even ask if we wanted menus. When we complained about speed, staff was rude and snappish. Will never return to this garbage service.

I eat here a lot since I work right next to it. I like how the customer service is always awesome and they keep the place well organized consistently. Rates are convenient and they serve sizeable portions.

Lovely Cafe with really good coffee! The food is always well prepared and fresh. We have been trying to time it right to be able to sit outside by the fire, but it's always busy.

Thank you so much for having our students at Café Bicyclette. Our food was fantastic and the servers were fun and helped the students practice their French.

I know the students especially enjoyed the desserts!

I'm very sad to say that this was a terrible dining experience. Partially because of the low quality food with no love put into it but mostly because of terrible service which was inaccommodating, neglectful and then aggressive and accusatory. I left feeling awful for many reasons. I was initially excited to come here as it has been years since I've been but I was sorely disappointed tonight.

Lovely little French bistro. The French onion soup is amazing. Croque Monsieur is made with croissant for extra decadence.

A little crowded over lunch, but that is likely because the food is so good. Everyone at our table enjoyed the food they selected. Pricey, but worth it.

Most of the food was quite bland. Salad was very disappointing. Their poutine is still good. Service was rather inattentive

I had the special sandwhich today with the Montreal smoked meat with cheddar and sauted mushrooms on their freshly baked croissant. I also had a small bowl of their mushroom soup of the day. I was just disappointed I didn't order more because everything was mouth watering. I thought the prices where very reasonable. I enjoyed the fact you can get up and pour yourself water instead of waiting for some one to come by and that the washrooms are very acesable single, unisex stalls that were well maintained. I'll definitely be coming back.

The food was really good today, much better experience than the last time we went, about a year ago. New cook maybe? Always make a decent coffee.

Cafe Bicyclette has a beautiful dog-friendly patio! Their poutine is amazing and the brunch version adds Montreal smoked meat, roasted mushrooms, and a poached egg. They're good for drinks and desserts too!

A little pricey for what you get, but the food is phenomenal and the coffee is good too. Great to come hang out, chill, read a book, and enjoy the patio. Just wish the hours were a little longer!

The food is way to greasy for my liking. I expected healthier options, went there twice (second chance) but this is not for me. I also think the food is overpriced, at least for the type of grub that is being served.

This café is located in a French-Canadian neighborhood in Edmonton. It has nice decor/ambiance and serves good food/drinks. But you feel an unfriendly vibe if you don't speak French. I am fluent in French, and I tested my theory, repeatedly, by coming-in as an English speaking customer then alternate as French speaking customer another time. I get better service in French.

Amazing food and service! Great place to go for brunch, I love their eggs benedict and poutine. They use good quality ingredients and it shows. Also, their staff is very friendly.

One of the best brunches in the city! Relaxed, cafeteria style seating. Menu is in French, bit can easily order in English. Food and drinks come quickly and are always delicious. Although often busy, it's usually possible to get a table without waiting. Plenty of parking nearby. Friendly staff and fantastic food; it's well worth a visit.

Good food, prompt service and a cozy, unhurried atmosphere. Loved the Crepe Salee and the coffee is excellent too.

As of now I've only been for a cappuccino, which was excellent. Service was great as well, the staff was friendly. It did make me realize that I definitely need to freshen up on my French though.

Amazing little spot tucked away in the Bonnie Doon neighborhood. Lots of great options and an indoor environment so perfect to grab a coffee on a cold winter afternoon.
