The teacher's are very respectful and help learn even though i have ADHD.the only problem is the behaver of some students however that is not something that the teachers can control but they do their best.
Amazing school, supports all types of special needs for children, including ADHD, ADD, autism, down syndrome, and more. 100% recommend the school for your child.
Such an amazing school, from the teachers to the classrooms, I felt welcomed. This school was such a help with my social anxiety and depression, an amazing counselor and principal.
Our son has a learning disability and we were led to believe through conversations with Calgary Academy, that they would be able to support his learning path. From grade 2 to the beginning of grade 9 we were told year after year that he was doing fine. Then we were told they couldn't support him for grade 10 because he was so far behind. When we asked why they didn't share this with us sooner. We were given the answer that they thought they could get him to catch up.
That was 3 years ago and we're still dealing with our sons low self esteem, learning challenges and struggles to feel like he can be a part of society.
