"The Calgary Alberta Temple, rising gracefully amidst the vast Canadian landscapes, is a harmonious blend of modernity and timeless spirituality. Its clean lines and elegant design evoke a sense of serene devotion, while its presence in the heart of Calgary serves as a beacon of hope and refuge. Against the backdrop of Alberta's ever-changing skies, this temple stands as a steadfast testament to the enduring promise of eternal connections. 5/5 for a sanctuary that captures the essence of both urban elegance and celestial serenity. 100 stars if possible! I went last week and was overcome by a peaceful humble feeling from GOD that brought tears to my eyes. The temple is a place to go when you want to feel closer to GOD. Go walk around the outside you'll feel what I'm saying! Thank heaven for sacred places like this on the earth.
Genealogy and temple work for this who have passed on. Endowed members only, peaceful experience, they have clothing options if you don’t have any and they can look up your recommend number if you don’t have it, awesome!
BEAUTIFUL! Well worth a quiet peaceful relaxing visit, walking around the grounds.
If you're a member of the Church of Jesus Christ - it is an absolutely wonderful place to go to, and to contemplate the things of God, And to be blessed with His peace, and be uplifted.
My husband and I went to Banff for our honeymoon and saw the temple lit up on the hill late at night as we were on our way to the hotel from the airport. It is absolutely gorgeous. We didn't go in as we were not dressed appropriately but it was neat to walk the grounds.
I feel so fortunate to have a temple in Calgary when there are only about 160 in the whole world. Whether you live in Calgary or just visiting, the Calgary Alberta Temple is a must see. A place where heaven touches Earth like no other.
The temple is simply a wonderful place to be. It is so peaceful, beautiful, and uplifting. I highly recommend asking how you can start to worship there.
I love the temple and relish every opportunity I have to do work for my family that have passed within its walls. If you haven't been in a while or aren't able to go, do everything in your power to give yourself the gift of going inside the Lord's House
