I hope they update their address to a real place. This is just a PO Box. I couldn't donate dog food. They don't answer the phone either. The website is not useful.

Hi, I would like to donate some stuff, some are used and some are brand new. Where could I drop them off?

Witnessed a dog struggling in -35° weather locked in a vehicle for 2 hours! Owner was drinking wine at a nearby restaurant. No one answered the phone and I left a plea for help on the voice message. A later response was that they couldn't help. No suggestions of where to look for support.so sad.

What can I say the people there are puppy people Kitty people animal people my people every time I go there a smile and good service support animals adopt merry Christmas everybody.

Planning of adopting a puppy this is the first place we're going to the website gave lots of info about everything dogs name and size! Amazing business over all.

Very upset to hear from my friend who adopted a lovely cat with CARS but in few days cat health became very bad. My friend took use of the Line of credit to pay for the big billss. In between, my friend tried to reach out to see if she can get some help but they did not care about the huge medical bill and the health of the cat. They said it was my friend problem that she did not get insurance right away.

When she took the cat home the cat was fine. Once the cat seems not ok, my friend brought to my friend's own vet. The Vet said no way they would not know if they did what they said they did (all the medical exams and stuff). The vet have been getting discount to my friend but they are still adding up.

My friend could have gave up the cat and return it to CARS but my friend kept the cat because my friend is a very responsible person and have been taking care the pet with medical bills with no insurance coverage.

I guess if you have good experience you are lucky. But when getting a pet from a organization that we though would help but ended up being not supportive and not responsive and not responsible. I am very disappointed.

I will rethink about donating to this organization. I was always donating to them anonymous.

If you want to support a friendly animal rescue, don't support Calgary animal rescue society. They are not supportive and not professional. Go to support other places that are nice.

Hung up on and told “I don’t know but I gotta go good bye”
Phoned with genuine questions about an animal and looking for supportive animal care or support. Was met with disregard and abrasive rudeness. If this place gets public funding it needs to be seriously re-evaluating it’s unprofessional approach to community service work.

I had some dog food I couldn't use, so I made an inquiry on their email (from the website). Prompt replies and helped me find a place near where I live to drop off the items. It happened to be at Dogs Rule groomers
