Matibii or matib. I don’t know how her name is spelled. However, when I’m asking a general question you don’t have to keep brushing it away and telling me wait. I was very polite, why would you hang up in my face. Very disrespectful and unprofessional. The lady before her was very polite and kind when asking her questions. This woman should be fired as she hates her job and is not a nice genuine person

When we first came to Rockyview Immigrant Services - RVIS in Airdrie, we were lucky to meet Mayil. Her exceptional dedication was immediately apparent. She's always available, eager to assist and answer questions with a smile and a sense of humor. Mayil is like a supportive friend, turning the overwhelming immigration process into something manageable. Her passion for her work is clear and creates a welcoming atmosphere at RVIS. Being in Airdrie and not having to travel to Calgary, especially when we don't have the means, has been a huge relief. We're incredibly thankful for Mayil; she's significantly brightened our journey.

I believe CCIS is more focused on refugees and protected immigrants. I don't see their knowledge, expertise and contribution for internationally experienced and qualified professionals. Nevertheless I enjoyed getting to know new people and understand how these immigration services work.

Great organization staffed with great people doing important work. We take great pride in our partnership with CCIS, and we're proud to be a part of their housing solutions. Keep up the excellent work!

This place got me where I am today. They have helped me get a stable career by providing the education that I need to get it. The best part of it is it's FREE!

They still work from home. Just call them and you will get set up for their services.

They deliver their services excellently.

They have been so helpful as regards my settlement. I had a wonderful experience with my settlement counsellor, Ruba, who helped me a lot when I first landed as an immigrant in Calgary.

Usually not really helpful. Their website has different info than when you reach out to them by email. They only help you if you’re permanent resident even if you have a PR application processing, they won’t help you and in Afghanistan and Ukraine situations it can take so long to get the result for your pr. Kinda frustrating.

I walked in and talked to a female consular about how to find a job in 2018. I also told her I have applied a full time job and already got a phone interview, but unsure if the employer would talk to me further (they were having another interview if I was qualified). This lady viewed my resume and gave me some recommendations, then I left.

I got the further interview and was hired by that employer without using the new format resume. In my first working month, I received a call from the CCIS lady, I told her I have got the job. She asked me where and what position, I told her everything. I knew I had become one of her successful cases sent to the government to make money at that moment, but it’s always good to help others, right?

Mr. Magno was very helpful and knowledgeable in Permanent residence application. I brought some friends to get an advice from him and he's always there ready to help and happy doing his job. He is the best here!

Another organization in the name of helping people but the reality is filling their pockets with the money that comes from the government.

It’s just another ruthless business with a friendly mask.

The worst among many immigration centers. They don't tell you much. Even if we find it out from others and ask them, they hardly respond. They pretend to be very busy and appointments take nearly a month.very disappointed. Other immigration centers are much more helpful.

The best Non-profit organization that would help you be a better individual if you are a first timer in Calgary. There are different classes been offered here to help you have a good settlement in Calgary and build you for what to expect ahead.

They hold students longer than it is needed. You can spend 1 year there, and your English won't be better as they use the same tests and topics every two months. DO NOT GO TO THIS SCHOOL

This is a place every immigrant should endeavour to go. Very helpful. Always going above and beyond. Truly the best in this field. They treat every case/client uniquely. I'm so glad for all the help I and my friends received. We were able to settle in as quickly as we did because of CCIS. Thank you!

This is very important especially for newcomers in Canada because you can know everything here about Canada and also gides you how to improve English language and how to got jobs, generally you know very much about the life of Canada. And also if you share your problems with this sure 95% it solved.

They don’t really help. When you phone them and transfer you, the person you were transferred to won’t pick up the phone so you have to leave a voicemail message. When you leave a message, you’ll never get a call back no matter how many times you phone and leave messages. When you email them, you’ll never get a reply. Very unprofessional!

Very unprofessional. Worst service ever I got. I met with Cheryl who is apparently an employment counsellor. She asked me to sign forms and enrolled me into a program. And that was that. No follow up whatsoever. She wont even respond to my emails. I have found that this is a way for them to get funds from Service Canada. I really wish someone registers a complaint against them to Service Canada. Because this place is a joke.

They provide great consultations for new comers, career support, English courses, translation and more

It's who you know, not what you know. If you want to work here you need a relative, friend, friend of friend who work in this organization in order to get hired. If you are from Iran or Arab Coutry.then, you are luckey. I suggest, the government should shut down this center and find an alternative way to help newcomers.
