Not a very good service just like DELTA CAB no dispatcher can’t send a car over if customers are not going far always hesitant to ask where the customer is going especially drivers don’t know the kilometres have to ask the customers totally failed drivers as a good EXAMPLE 1813 & Toyota Prius ZEE who also drove 370 Toyota VENZA always wanting a tip can’t give change if need this driver ZEE is like a thief very rude driver

Absolutely terrible service. Pre-ordered and pre-paid for a taxi the day before to get my kid to school in the morning. When it was 15 minutes late I called to see where it was and the dispatcher said to me that it was going to be another 10-15 minutes until the driver reached our house. I asked why this was since I had pre-booked it the day before and she stated "traffic". I worked for a taxi company in Vancouver B. C.for years and you are always told to be a little early for pre-booked trips, especially the trips that were already paid for. Her tone was snotty and rude and then she hung up on me and canceled the trip. I will never recommend this cab company to even my worst enemy.

Booked an airport pickup from this company through a different provider. Had to change pick-up time not problem. Arrived early and picked up luggage far quicker than expected. Phoned them, taxi arrived a few minutes early. Not a problem. Straight to the hotel. Would use them again

Called to book a taxi at canyon meadows station. Operator didn't seem to know where that was. He said would be 30 minutes I said fine. Got canyon meadows 20 mins later and called to make sure he got me a cab. As I didn't get a text message I assumed he forgot. So when I called back he indeed had forgot to call my taxi. He said I'll call now and it's going to take longer than 30 minutes now. I said did you not book me a cab when I called 22 minutes ago. He did not. So I said fine forget it. Got a taxi 5 minutes later thanks checker. I am still pissed so called to get the guys name to make a complaint and he sent me to a machine, i called back and am now blocked. To the management the operator tonight between 11pm and 12pm aug 5,2023 needs to learn customer service, calgary geography and speak english clearly.

We booked transport for 5 people w luggage w confirmation email that I booked correctly. We got notification a few mins past pickup time that the driver was on his way in a Prius. When I called to tell them we need a larger vehicle, they stated they’d call me back. I didn’t hear back from them till 20mins later. We could not wait any longer for them to possibly show up so we made other arrangements

They cancelled on us 30 minutes in the wait after 2 calls and then blocked our number so we couldnt get any explanation. Awful terrible service, avoid at all cost

Yes city cab was good, except when I needed a taxi to the bus station to go to Edmonton, they wouldn't pick me up because they had no Cavs in the area.

Absolutely terrible. Guy nearly ran me over and then pulled a weapon on me. Thankfully I was bigger than him and he's a coward. I wasn't even a passenger. I was just trying to cross a street. Dude is lucky I'm calm. NEVER USE THIS CAB SERVICE

My wife and I ordered a cab on December 17. We ordered through the app and the service was fast. However, the cab driver charged us as we were dropped off and we paid, not knowing that we were also being charged through the app. I contacted them afterwards get a refund for the double charge.

I have spent two months now trying to get a refund for their error. I have emailed, getting responses maybe 50% of the time. I have spoken to to their administrator Hanna, who told me FOUR times that I would get the refund that day. I received nothing.

While the amount is negligible in the long run, it is the principle of the matter. They stole my money and I want it back.

HORRIBLE! THEY STEAL AND OR KEEP YOUR PASSPORTS!

I called this cab company to retrace my steps while I realized my passport was missing, I sent them an email with a picture of my passport, the lady said yes we have it here come get it tomorrow, So i drive 45 mins to this warehouse office and a guy opens a drawer full of passports, i said to him "why are you guys holding these passports and not taking them to the canada passport office where there is a 24/7 box open to drop off lost passports or taking these passports to the airport? He said " we dont know these people" like ok? Anyway I ask for my passport they said they had and they all of a sudden say " sorry we dont have it here, i didnt check the name of the passport and I thought this was yours" as she shows me some brunettes passport while im blonde.so i said.so you confirmed you had my passport but you didnt even read the name? This place is beyond shady and unprofessional and to boot this lady didnt even say sorry, Do not use this cab company if you leave anything even your passport in this cab they will keep it. Who knows what they are doing with all these passports. I did notify authority of this but figured Id leave this honest review of my experience with this dreadful company.

Tried to order a cab one morning on the way to work. I ended up waiting about half an hour for a driver to accept my route, but it never ended up happening. I booked an Uber instead, with which a driver accepted my ride almost immediately.

They refunded me (as they should have), but I'm not sure how much faith I would put into Calgary City Cabs in the future.

Booked CAB didn’t show up. Called twice, the answer always is coming. Until 45 min later the driver called back, at that time I am already on my way to the airport, will miss my flight if I keep waiting. Will never use again.

I had the nicest taxi driver ever!
I got a taxi from the airport to the university on January first. I was by myself and have never been to Calgary before. I wasn’t sure where to check in but the driver Richard drove me around for over half an hour around campus trying to help me find the student service desk because I had no idea where it was. He refused a tip from me and made sure I had my keys and was safely inside my accommodation before leaving. I don’t know what I would have done without him, I was completely lost! I’m eternally grateful for his kindness. Thank you Richard!

I took a taxi from the airport to downtown Calgary. The driver did not help me or even offer to help unload my luggage from the back of the taxi upon arrival at my destination. They sat in the driver seat after I paid, and they opened the trunk/hatch -back of the taxi remotely. While I was taking my own luggage out I said “thank you” and the driver drove away immediately without a word and while the trunk/hatch-back was still wide open.

Sorry I didn’t get a receipt or taxi number. I wish I had before they drove away.

Lady operator did not put scheduled pick up time for me in the computer and convinced me I had made the mistake. I told her I wanted another cab, which I had a wait longer for.rather difficult experience. English barrier didn’t help.

If they tell you 45 mins to an hour, expect to call them after an hour for them to give you a knew eta.terrible service.

I would have posted zero stars if I could have. I called Calgary City Cabs one day before I needed them to make sure I had everything in order. The pre booking was confirmed and set. That booking was to get a wheel chair capable cab to take my 91 year old Mother to a medical appointment that was in itself challenging to get. They sent a cab that was just a regular cab. This company is very unprofessional and incompetent! Driver blamed dispatch, and called them immediately. Dispatch says we have no wheel chair cabs available, what do you want us to do? I was so angry and disappointed, my Mom was going to be quite late.: (Please don't use there services.

Was walking with my granddaughter and wife and dog on 26 Ave ne calgary. We were walking through crosswalk and cab #719 wasn't even going to stop. He even threatened to hit us. I called dispatch to file complaint they didn't even care. Wouldn't rake this cab company if they were the last one

Very Nice and Professional service. Helped me to reach to my destination in a risk free and timely way.
Will use the service in future too.

I had booked a cab for a 7 am ride to the airport.at about 7: 10, they had not shown up. Called, could barely understand the person, poor phone line quality and a thick accent. Apparently their driver had a flat tire and was going to be another 15-20 minutes. I hung up, not sure what to do. They called again a few minutes later - they were sending another driver, who would be 35 minutes late. Cancelled and had to make an emergency call to a friend to drive. Lousy service and poor communications - I would not use this company again.

A friend who travelled from out of province arrived to my home from the airport at 4: 15 PM and as the driver left realized one of her bags was still in his car. This bag contained her computer, passport and more importantly - medications.

She immediately called the dispatcher and asked her to call the driver right away! The dispatcher said she would, and call back.

After an hour with no call back, she called again and the dispatcher said she was too busy and didn’t do it yet. She asked again that she contact the driver ASAP and she said she would. Another hour passed and we called again – more excuses. Yet ANOTHER call and the dispatcher said she would do it before she left her shift at 8 PM.

At 10 minutes to 8: 00 PM another call to the cab dispatcher. This time the dispatcher said the driver had the bag and would bring it to her - for a cost of $70, the cost to drive from the airport to my house.

Basically - BLACKMAIL

Just wondering what is your base fare and how much expected difference between online fare estmator and actual fare if you take Stony plain trail throughout with no traffic?

Worst experience ever. They told me 20. I waited 25 before speaking with the driver. He told me another 20 minutes.i waited 45 minutes for them to NO SHOW. Dispatch then refused to take my call after a number of attempts. Unprofessional, unreliable and unbelievable. This happened today around 11am. They deserve 0 stars.

I have used taxi from airport to my home. Great cx service. I would like to recognize the person for company. I for got his name but remember the taxi number. It was 28. The gentlemen was really helpful and know the shorter route.

The taxi drivers are very helpful and friendly
They suggest short roads for you so that your fee is less

I had ordered taxi, the driver was very courteous, vell knowledge of the city and on time.he also gave me name sof the places to visit.

Good price to get from downtown to the airport, and the driver even came back when I left my phone in the taxi! Would definitely use them again for sure

My elderly parents were left outside in -23 at 2 am after canceled flights and a day of long trave. My father is an amputee and was able to move himself into the back seat of the cab. But when my mother tried loading his wheel chair in the back the cab driver started to yell at her. She explained she could take it apart. He wouldn't let her and he grabbed her bag and threw it on the ground and told them to get out. My mother was crying begging for help and he just told her to get out of his cab. They begged multiple cars to take them and no one would bother. Maybe because there were lots of able bodied people worth less bother who were stranded as well.

So picture this. Two elderly people not dressed for winter in the slightest stranded outside in -23 one of with disabled. My mother on her knees begging for help. No one offered help. How dare you Calgary city cabs. I have never been so enraged and heart broken. How dare you

I booked a cab to go to the airport at 11: 45 PM with this company and even received a confirmation email for the pickup. However, I was waiting for the cab until midnight and I called them but they put me on hold and could not get to me. They put me in a critical situation and I almost missed my flight and my neighbour had to drive me there. I would not recommend this service at all as they are unprofessional and do not care about their customers

Avoid using this company from the airport. I took the first taxi in line at the airport. The driver stood by as I handled the luggage into the trunk. I told the driver to round the fare to an even amount that included a small tip. Later, I find out that an additional $10 was added on top of my fare. I called the taxi company three times: two to complain and to retell the event to the manager and to the dispatch person. The third time to follow up my previous conversation. They said that they were looking into and that these sort of things take time and they would get back to me. It has been two weeks and I have heard nothing from them. Stay away from this company. I fear that if a tourist visiting Calgary for the first time and gets cheated like this, it will leave a bad impression on our struggling tourism business. Let's get this company off the airport business.

I usually don’t take Cab.
But if I have to, then City Cabs is the only one that comes to my mind

AHS told us to call Calgary City Cabs to drive my wife for a Covid test. We let them know the reason of our cab 5 minutes travel and suddenly there were no Cabs available anymore (btw, the test can only be performed by car). Fortunately United Cabs was there for her and took her safely (either for her and the driver) to the test. 5 stars for United Cabs.

This company is not true to their word, they tell you one thing and do another.not a reliable service.

He will try to rip you off. Will not take this cab company again because of this driver.

To start the experience, the company almost didnt pick up my call. They did, and as usual the wait time was 10 to 15 minutes. No biggie. The cab driver was 25 minutes late and proceeded to call me saying he was lost and it would be another 5 minutes wait. Ten minutes later, I called the cab driver back and he was still lost.in the parking lot beside the one I was waiting in. Finally when I got into the cab he was rude to my boyfriend and I and did not apologize for making us wait 45 minutes to an hour for something that could have taken 20 minutes.

Unreliable. Called for a cab this weekend and it never showed. No call to say it wasn't coming. What a great way to run a cab company. Thanks =
