Totally dysfunctional administration. Prices keep rising and services keep disappearing. There is no value to shopping at Calgary Co-op anymore.

This plaza boasts alot of different little shops and boutiques, as well as the coop office and grocery store. Parking lot is a bit small in areas and can be difficult at times to navigate. One of my favorites of this plaza is that it houses Jerusalem Shawarma which is always a great place to get a bite.

I took my mobility scooter in last Wednesday to get repairs. The service manager never returned my calls about it and I had to get my son to call. I was told by the service manager that they had more important people than me and that I wasnt lacking mobility. It is nice to see you have a doctor as the department head that can diagnose better than my doctor as I can walk about 150 feet before having to sit. I am 72. I have now found a new service depot for my scooter that seems to care about its customers. I was till today a faithful coop usher. I think the service manager should be sent for classes on dealing with people in health issues

Honestly, this company which I am part owner of could be run better. I think severing ties with Federated Co-op was a mistake, and came in effect at a very unfortunate time. I don't understand the core brand values when Cal&Gary sources dried pasta from Italy instead of sourcing them locally when the main ingredient in those products is wheat, which is produced locally. Some of us are trying to reduce our footprint, and although they advertise their support of local their business practices sometimes leave questions.

1.19 per piece of lime this is just ridiculos, no way to buy something in co- op just crossing the street in save in foods and cost 79 cents

This Co-op seems to have everything you need including loss of parking. However I find the pharmacy products and food products extremely expensive

We like co-op and shop there regularly but I want to comment on the exit lanes leaving your car wash bays. I have a large SUV {a Mercedes Benz GLE} and I have often found that the exit lanes from your car wash bays are far too narrow. I have had to repair my rims a few times that I have gone through them. Beddington is the worst location for this issue. I recently went through the north car wash bay and damaged two tires at $700 each and two rims, which will cost $300 each to repair. Please take a look at this and make your car wash bay exit lanes wider! Even the parking stalls seem to be getting narrower whenever they change them.

I am a big seafood lover. I decided to try Cal & Gary's frozen shrimp that were on sale. When I got home and had a couple, I looked at the bag and noticed that they are a product of Vietnam. It's pretty sad that a big company like Co-op can't support Canadian seafood. I definitely won't be buying them any more. I will be checking everything I buy from there from now on. We DO have seafood that is a product of Canada. Come on Co-op, support our OWN seafood fishermen.

I love this store, just a little prices a little high, but well organized, very clean and the products never disappoint me.

Meat appears to have changed at Co-op. Purchased chicken several times and only the Co-op chicken breast filets were chewy like rubber (cooked properly not overcooked) and just didn't resemble the quality I remember. If their supplier changed, and this is the current state of their meat, I'm afraid they'll be losing a long time member/customer.

It's my coop.a block from home. I do miss the deli area of old.had some of the best foods available. Now due to Covid a lot less available.

I called head office to inform them that Co-op employees at their local branches are not following the Covid-19 social distancing guidelines they have in place for their customers. She spoke to me condescending, and talked over, and interrupted me while I tried explain the situation and my concerns. Then basically called me a lair.

So apparently social distancing does not apply to Co-op employees?
Probably because of poor training, and management.

I got treated with zero respect and they do not seem to care one bit that their employees are endangering customers during this pandemic.

I can clearly see why Co-ops have such bad reviews now

Unlike Superstore, Calgary Co-op had sale prices on essentials this past week. Thank you Co-op! Also in the coming months, our local economy needs our support. I am choosing to support local businesses.

I tried to buy insulin needles at co-op pharmacy on MacLeod trail and was denied, wanted to buy a box like i always do except i got the male pharmacist there which will only sell me a bag of 10 needles that will only last me a week. When i asked why he wouldn't sell me the box that i buy every month there like ive been doing for years he said i might go out and sell them to other people i feel like because i have tattoos i was being profiled.wow no wonder people get hiv you're declining people to buy needles, i worked in pharmacy for 5 yrs you cant just not sell someone needles. This guy should lose his license and be reported, ill get his name next time im in. Calgary news should seriously do a story on this guy. The co-op is a great store but if this is how you treat people than you've lost my business and my families. Time to switch to superstore like everyone else has.

I am distressed to find that I have to go on-line to get my revved up rewards from the gas station. What an insult to long time loyal members to ask them to use their printer, their paper and their ink to get the money that is promised as part of their membership. Shame on YOU!

Well I agree with the post on the gas rev up, now they are expired? Is this a coop or not, with no vote put to the membership on the issue, I will be taking my shopping and gas purchases, approx 12,000.00 elsewhere, anywhere. I asked the staff what will be the new name as this is not a Coop any more, bye bye.

As a very long time member I am very pissed that I heard or saw nothing regarding the Save on your groceries Revved up Rewards receipts expiring. Went to Richmond store on September 17th for Dollar Days Sale to stock up on a lot of items with all my gas receipts and half were not accepted. Notices should have been emailed out signs on all doors of gas stations including at the pumps. I have to say that I am gas shopping from now on using gas buddy. Where as before I was a loyal coop member purchasing over 7,000.00 in gas alone for one vehicle.

We shopped at Calgary Co-op in Strathmore today about 10 am. After getting everything we needed we went to the tills. There was only one open and was occupied. While waiting I saw a person who looked like he might be a manager and asked for another till to be opened. He said "I guess we will have to find a cashier". He did not do this. He went and talked to another person about other things and did not do anything about another cashier. There were several people lined up after us.
As a member for almost 40 years I find this unacceptable.
