I appreciate that I am a student of Calgary College of TCM and acupuncture. I graduated from a registered massage therapist course here, and I continued to join the acupuncture program. Mr. Martin Liu is a Doctor of Traditional Chinese medician, he has lots of tolerance to teach us since he understands that everyone is starting from zero in the class. Dr. Zhang is our acupuncture meridian and points teacher and she is so methodical and organized. More than that, we have teachers like Dr. Du, Dr. Guo, Dr. Tran, Mike, Andrea. I have been learned a lot from this school and I hope the school could help you at some points one day!

If you’re considering a new career in Acupuncture I highly recommend CCTCMA. I graduated from the Acupuncture and DTCM program in 2022, with no regrets. The instructors are passionate, engaging and knowledgeable. The administrative staff are helpful, friendly and approachable. Overall, I had a wonderful experience at this school.

I am very happy that I graduated from this college successfully. The teachers here have good educational backgrounds and are very knowledgeable and professional. They are patient and very happy to help students. They are always there if any of us has questions.

My experience at CCTCMA from the beginning was very positive, even during hard covid times, teachers and admin staff were always available and ready to help. Our class is a big one, over 30 people, so a lot of challenges to accommodate all of us, still teachers managed to successfully evaluate us individually. I always look forward to come to school as it's a very friendly and positive environment yet professional and high standards treatments. All of my teachers have high education, a lot of experience and human skills. The content materials of all the courses are at the medical school levels, not just Chinese Medicine is taught, but an extensive knowledge of western medicine like anatomy, physiology, pathology etc.are required to succeed to obtain Acupuncture diploma. Personally, I enjoy all the Chinese Medicine and Acupuncture classes the most, the president of the school Dr. Du teaches Acupuncture 4, a very important course in order to be successful at the Pan Canadian exam, he is a wonderful teacher with a lot of experience in every field, very interactive and enjoyable to listen to. I am very grateful for all the amazing teachers at the school, with all the knowledge that they share, I just want to take it all in.

I just graduated from the 3-year Acupuncture program in cctcma in 2022. I appreciate the study and clinical opportunity here. The instructors are knowledgeable with abundant clinical experiences. They are experts in Traditional Chinese medicine and Acupuncture and Western medicine. They interpret the miracle ancient wisdoms in easy understanding concepts which makes my learning journey smooth. The instructors themselves are the rich resources for my learning, and the classes have been provided with additional references. The most important part is that the school provide assistance and guidance in preparing the Board Exam at the end of the 3rd year. CCTCMA always focus on the students learning and all the stuff are willing to assist. I recommend to take the programs here for your liked career, or to get treatments in the excellent school clinic.

I have been Studying at the CCTCMA for four years and with all the twists n turns of the pass couple years of Covid the staff and teachers have been working so well to keep the students well informed and navigate zoom classes. My instructors are great and students are all wonderful

I graduated from Calgary College of Traditional Chinese Medicine and Acupuncture. I completed the study of Traditional Chinese Medicine and Acupuncture in 2021, and passed the Pan-Canadian exam in October of the same year. This school was originally chosen because all the teachers have a very professional educational background and their teaching experience is very rich. The three-year professional study is very challenging, not only to learn theoretical knowledge, but also to continuously practice to improve practical ability and pass various theoretical knowledge exams and clinic practice exams. Although these exams were very difficult, I still enjoyed the three years of study. Because these professional theoretical knowledge and proficient operational skills can bring great help to my future work. I am very grateful to all the teachers for their help and training, and I strongly recommend this school to my classmates who also need help in Chinese medicine.

After 3 years study, I have grasped acupuncture and TCM from theories to clinical skill step by step. Now I am confident to go to work in clinic. I also passed provincial license exams 6 months in advance. Appreciate my knowledgeable teachers, their kindness and experiences. Especially thanks for Dr. Du, as leadership, always put students' development priority, provide guidance and solutions promptly whenever I encountered difficulties. I am so lucky to choose my school.

Just finished my Acupuncture Diploma and couldn't of asked for a better experience. Was constantly supported throughout the years and my teachers and staff went above and beyond to ensure that we learned the material and had all the needed resources. Thank you for everything.

If the low price gives you pause. SNAP OUT OF IT! Their intern clinic is the deal of a lifetime and everyone is lovely! The office manager and owner both go around and talk to the patients and the doctors watching the students that Ive met so far have been so kind and discreet with my issues. If you're curious about/ like acupuncture, I would highly reccomend this school!

Also just a psa, I just found out they have massage interns too! Also at a ridiculously low price!

The best school I’ve ever been to. All the staffs are very professions, instructors are super knowledgeable, Practicum clinic is nice and clean. They even offer 3 free treatments for client whoever wants to be model of Practicum classes when I was studying over there. I’ll recommend this school to everyone whoever is passionate about learning the profound health profession Traditional Chinese Medicine and Acupuncture.

I had a treatment here with a student today, Brittany Krep. She was fantastic. She was very knowledgeable and took her time to explain things to me and with the treatment itself. She offered natural remedies or alternatives to some problems I was having. This was was my third acupuncture experience overall and so far she has been the best. I would definitely recommend her, you can tell this is truly a passion of hers!

All depends on the instructor, student, expectations, treatment, condition. Some amazingly gifted students and some talented instructors. Appointment availability has some work to meet some alternative work schedules.

I am not too sure who Smaranda Abaco is but I can say that he/she is not a student at the Calgary College of Traditional Chinese Medicine & Acupuncture. I am. I am going into my third year at CCTCM and I will say that the teachers ARE the reason this school is so great. The faculty have years of professional experience, knowledge and passion that they share with the students in their lectures and teaching. I look forward to coming to class and working in the student clinic. With their guidance, I feel very confident with the skills and knowledge that I am acquiring.
