This is a bible based spirit filled church. When coming from Toronto a year ago, I was looking for a church that not only believed in the bible and the gifts of the spirit, but had genuine love in it. No one’s perfect and we all have sinned. So obviously there’s no condemnation in Christ. All are welcome. You don’t go to a hospital and find it full of healthy people. You’re going to find the ill and injured there. Same goes with church. It’s not about getting right with God or getting right in your life before coming to church. You come to church in the midst of your brokenness to encounter His love. That love is truly felt when you come to this church. The worship music is great and the congregation is multicultural. The church is also transparent with its finances, providing hard copies of the year’s financial statements to all those who request it and hold an annual general meeting yearly with its members. There is free parking available on Sundays and is wheelchair accessible. The wheelchair entrance is at the back of the building. There are groups for various age groups. Children, youth, young adults, 50+ and seniors. I encourage anyone reading this to come and check it out!
This place is amazing! You will always feel welcomed there and the ministry they doing is awesome. Pastor Dale is always so on point with his teachings and you will always walk away feeling full. The worship is wonderful too and Gods power is always been felt so strongly any time I have been there. If you are looking for a good church home this is a home you will feel a part of.
The worship and the Word was amazing. I however, as a first timer, felt a bit lonely and awkward after the service. Noone would say hi or seemed interested to know about me, unlike at our previous church (we relocated to Calgary from Vancouver). Sad to try a different church for lack of that sense of love and community.
A place where you can truly worship God and have the best of the raw word been shared. It's been 7months attending and I would say I have been having an amazing time worshipping at CFG.
Pastor was amazing and led by the Spirit. I really enjoyed the communion service they had. The people I was sitting with just didn't look at me, didn't say anything when the pastor says, "look at your neighbour and tell them. " The people felt unloving and unkind. Such is my experience in many churches, I am shy and quiet, but apparently this is a type of person that is unloved by many, many church people. Amazing pastor though, he was just so right on with his message. I give 5/5 stars just for the pastor and his message. I would give 0/5 for the rest of the congregation though.
