Calgary Hot Yoga

I have recently started going to Calgary Hot Yoga and am absolutely loving it. The classes are amazing and so are the instructors highly recommend this studio

After years of trying a variety of yoga practices and studios, this is by far the best! The detail, encouragement and discipline is like no other and I am completely hooked!
I learn and grow with every class and am grateful to have found a welcoming community.
Over the last 5mths, not only can I see and feel the results, most importantly I am building strength I didn’t know I had!

My experience at CHY was not pleasant. They have a very rigid studio where there is no space for what yoga really is for me. Connection to mind /body/breath. I was corrected many times for doing what my body needed to get into the postures. The instructor was incredibly condescending when I went into a down dog because my back was cramping. He said “we don’t do downward dog in this class” then I stayed in it, and he said or “do what you want. ” I was appalled. This is yoga, his energy was toxic. I then asked nicely at the end, “ it seems like there’s so space to give my body what it needs. ” He said “sometimes our bodies don’t need what we think they need. ” Is yoga not an embodiment practice? ! This should be a gym not a yoga studio. I do not recommend this studio if you want a true yoga experience.

I have only been attending CHY for a short time but I am throughly impressed with the teachers & classes. Their explanations are clear, concise & adaptable &they appear to have a real passion for their yoga which is an inspiration. Thank you Craig

I’ve been attending CHY off and on for ten years. Craig, the owner, has successfully built and maintained an amazing yoga studio. More importantly, he always strives to be friendly, welcoming, and has created a real sense of yoga community. The facility itself is always clean and comfortable, and appropriately hot/humid for hot yoga. The classes and instructors are varied; there is something for everyone. The instructors, particularly Craig, are so supportive and always helpful and encourage us yogis to grow and make continued progression in our yoga practices. ️️️️️️

Amazing studio and teachers. They are supportive and experienced. I have been going here for 1.5 years and each class offers a different challenge.

A very neat place with great instructors. They explain not just the pose itself but also which muscles you are working out, and why you can or can't do a pose. One thing is just to do yoga but something else is to practice purposeful yoga. Listen to your body and what it tells you.

Great yoga studio and dedicated teachers who share their knowledge openly as I grow my yoga practice. It always fun when they throw in a few jokes during practice too.

I have tried a few yoga studios in Calgary and there's a reason I keep coming back to Calgary Hot Yoga, it's my favourite. The instructors are knowledgeable and friendly and you can tell that Craig truly cares about his clientele. The facility is always clean, the studio is kept at a great temperature, and the class times work well with my busy schedule. I always leave feeling happier and will continue recommending the studio to anyone interested in being lovingly nudged to take their practice to the next level.

I've really enjoyed going to this yoga studio it's the best one I have personally been too. The owner is great and the rest of his staff.

Very welcoming atmosphere. Each instructor is passionate, friendly, and always willing to answer questions and offer guidance. Good selection of classes, and additional workshops provide opportunities to deepen practice. Calgary Hot Yoga is a great studio to start or continue your yoga journey.

Love the place and at $75/MTH how can you go wrong. They do all forms of yoga and even advanced. I love it!

This is the best yoga studio I have ever been to! Very down to earth, the instructors are amazing!

This is my 17th year with CHY, lots of changes over the years. One thing remains the same though, the beautiful welcoming I get when I walk in. CHY is not just a yoga studio it is a place to feel free to be open and honest with yourself and receive love and sense of belonging.

This studio has been one of those elements that has enriched my life for the better. It was also instrumental after I struggled to find normal after the pandemic.

Each instructor has their own unique style that adds a distinct challenge and leaves you wanting to come back the next day. Would highly recommend to anyone.

I have been attending Calgary Hot Yoga for over 10 years, they have become my yoga family! The staff are always welcoming and supportive. Studios are so clean and you can tell they all take great pride in what they do. Their new heating system is amazing! They offer a variety of classes and even virtual classes and special workshops too! I highly recommend Calgary Hot Yoga!
