Going in the greeter was so polite and smiled, the dog was very cute that was going around. But when u got up to parts another man told the guy working parts I needed help, and the old man working parts replied yeah well I'm busy. The other man repied well I'm sure she can wait a few minutes ha ha.and the older guy looks up at me and at my 7 year old son and gives us the nastiest look. Doesn't even speak to me. I wait for a couple minutes and this guy is just holding a sheet.stapled it.not doing anything. So I asked another man I seen who happened to be the general manager, well as soon as the old man heard me ask him he jumped up and went to do his job right away. When confirming my name he needed to confirm how to spell Rose, after he had that already written down. He finally gets the part and gives it to me and I'm like okay very good and he replies "You're welcome" very ignorantly. Honestly my husband and I won't return here again because of the rude service today. Do better. Not sure your problem with a mother and her son picking up a part but you need to get over it and be held accountable. That guy is much too comfortable to be so rude and keep his job, you should train the greeter for parts. Thanks!

I bought my car from Calgary Hyundai. Cayla has amazing customer service, and she has a tone of knowledge about all the cars. However, Steve, Kingsley, and Jot were super helpful as well. I highly recommend them for anyone who wnats to buy a car. Until here, everything was fine, but they could not keep their promises. I got a deal where Cayla said I can get my car wash whenever I want. After 2 months of owning my 2023 Hyundai Santa Cruz, I went to wash my car, and the service told me that we have changed the policy and you will get only one car wash per month. After arguing with them now, they offered 2 car wash per month. This message to whoever wants to buy a car makes sure everything is written down.

I took my car in to have the trim fixed as it was peeling. I got a call a few hours later and they received the wrong part and couldn't fix the trim. They had to order the proper trim peice and I got in a month later to get it fixed. They did a great job and the service was great. I was annoyed that my seat was moved and adjusted to someone else's comfort.

For the third time in the past 3 months I'd say that the parts department either needs more staff or a good talking to. It took me 4 phone calls and a total of 11 minutes of listening to ringing before someone answered the phone. I understand being busy, but answer the phone and acknowledge your customers. Put us on hold or call us back, don't just ignore the ringing phone.

Needed a warranty service looked at and then added a cleaning package. 2 weeks later, I was finally able to get my car back, not cleaned. You are only able to talk to 1 person (your service advisor) about your vehicle, and if they are busy or not there, no one can give you answers. No communication. Never going back.

Extremely poor service! I have been doing my car services with them since I bought the car from them.this is the first time I had problem with my car and the first time I realize how poor their customer service is. I had a bed experience with the last service and I tried calling service advisor 10 times.he never answered the call. I left voice mail to call me back and he gave me ‘ just one formality ring’. I tried right after I missed his call but he again did not picked the phone. I requested reception too and she promised me a call from service advisor. I waited for 2 days.

Kingsley Li provided outstanding service from beginning to end. His depth of knowledge and true desire to help me make the perfect purchase of a new vehicle was evident in all of our interactions. He went out of his way to follow up with me after my visits and gave me his undivided attention whenever I was at the dealership. I love my new Sante Fe and it is definitely the best vehicle I have ever had. His attention to detail and commitment to getting me everything I wanted has made this the best experience possible. Well, this was a day that I did something I have never done before. Circumstances required that I get a vehicle. Other circumstances dictated that it would need a warranty.
I knew there was a bowler in the 10-pin community that was in car sales. So I asked around and found Ted Lam, GM at Calgary Hyundai in the northeast.
I had a very limited budget that I could afford to pay monthly. I arranged to meet Ted and he fixed me up with his sales folk and away we went. I am happy to say that I got a deal I could live with and I am now the owner of a 2022 Hyundai Elantra.
At age 72 I buy my first new car. I am still kind of in shock. I can’t say enough good things about the great people at Calgary Hyundai. I also got to hit a great big gong (for good luck). My ears are still ringing.

Absolutely amazing dealership! All of the staff goes above and beyond for their customers. You can tell customer service is a top priority for them. They will do anything possible and work non stop to get you the car you want on a payment plan that you can afford. Thank you for the amazing service, I will be back for my next car purchase! 11 months later and my car is still recommending this dealership to anyone who is looking for an vehicle. Went there to test drive a Santa cruz, and get some prices. After the test drive the manager was trying very hard to pressure me into signing a deal. Their deal worked out to over $70000 for a $46000 truck. (46k on auto trader, but 56k if you go in, plus all the extras they tack in)

Seemed to me like what they did was try to manipulate the numbers to make the deal sound good but get my trade for free.

340 biweekly x 96 months= $70,720.46924 on auto trader apparently they don't know about the amvic advertising laws.

Having not purchased a vehicle, new or used, in over a decade I approached the experience with a certain amount of trepidation. But dealing with Calgary Hyundai and Sunny Sharma in particular turned out to be a very pleasant experience. I gave him a firm budget and a list of must-haves and he did his magic. In the end I don't know who wanted to do a deal more Sunny or me. I now have the vehicle I was looking for and because of the experience I would not hesitate recommending Calgary Hyundai to friends and family. Thanks Sunny. I look forward to a long relationship.

If I could rate zero stars I would. I bought my car brand new in 2019 in Saskatchewan and had great service through their dealership. Fast forward to today when I noticed some rust developing on the hood and drove to this location to get it looked at as I still have warranty. Waited in the service bay for longer then comfortable as I’m noticeably pregnant and standing until someone approached me without the mask on properly, told me my warranty doesn’t cover the rust spots (which it does lol) without even taking the effort to look at my car! Terrible service in my opinion

This place should be shut down by the City. Ted Lam in the sales is a nasty piece of work, don't know how to deal with a potential customer. Belittling people comes natural to this person.

I'm warning everyone, please stay away from this establishment.

To the GM, I was reading all the reviews and also the replies from you. Put yourself in the customers position at least once. Rather than protecting these rude, culture less animals why don't you ask them what is going on.

This will come back and haunt you and it will be too late, when you look at your sales and wondering what's going on, there's your answer.

The service was great! It was fast and efficient and I received a call from Joey within a minute from receiving a text update. He gave me a rundown of everything they did. He went above and beyond to answer some additional questions I had and was incredibly kind and patient in the process. Will definitely come back again!

The only piece of feedback I have is that when I dropped off my car after hours, I spent an almost embarrassing amount of time looking for the drop box for the key. I'd suggest some better lighting or signage (that isn't hiding behind a pole).

I bought my Tucson outside of Calgary, but always take it to Calgary Hyundai for service. They have always been very friendly, helpful and take the time to explain what has been done to the vehicle each service. I will definitely continue to have my service done here and it will be my first stop in the future when I buy a new car.

Went there a couple months ago before moving, compared to other Hyundai dealerships the service was not good, employees seemed more focused on personal drama than customers. Managers seemed to lack the capability of keeping the work environment professional. E cigarette vapes were visible on counters, employees were overheard talking about drinking and doing drugs at work. Overall the environment was not professional at all, very unpleased with my visit. The managers seemed to have no sense of what a professional work environment consists of and seem to engage in the same activities as the employees.

She was super professional, knowledgeable, and never once made me feel pressured to purchase something that wasn’t right for me. She was informative and helpful without being pushy and although I didn’t make a purchase this visit, when I’m ready I’ll definitely be going straight back to Cayla!

Started great, and ended up terrible. Really bizarre experience. Steve Kim was awful and lied about almost every detail. Lying was his natural response until he was in so deep he just stopped answering the phone and passed it off to Sunny. The last thing they promised was a "5 star detail" which was actually just hanging an air freshener off the mirror. Perfect metaphor for the joke this experience was. Not a surprise that 2 months later and the car is having transmission issues. By far the worst shopping experience I've ever had.

Sales review. This was the first new car I've ever bought, and the experience was so awful that I don't want to buy a new car ever again:

I chose a car option, and financing terms with specific monthly payments based on my budget. Then came the discussion about extras (3M, rust, etc.). Was told they'd give us a deal - if we bundle things, that saves the dealership on labor to do the work. Cool, makes sense. They come back with the deal (which included things I didn't want and hadn't asked for, including an extended warranty, but what the hey). The payments, however, have been switched from monthly to biweekly - so you *can't do a direct comparison. * I stopped to do the math - and there **was no deal. ** They had charged me full price for everything and then had the audacity to pass it off as a favor/deal!

I point this out, they had another conflab, come back and offer me an additional extended warranty thingy that adds *more to the cost of the car. * (Still no deal on the extras that I actually want). At that point I say I don't want to pay more (why do I even have to say that?). They turn around and offer a reduced "bundled" price for the extras offered. OK, fine. Like pulling friggin' teeth!

Then the financing. They immediately try to sell me "guarantees" or "protections" and additional "premium" packages. Again - things that I do not need or want - but they use pressure and fear tactics. At that point, to be honest, between treatment by finance and sales, **I did not trust them** and decided I didn't want to finance through them if I could help it.

They have to ship in the car - which is fine. Get a text saying they're bringing in a non-white car, after I'd been very clear that I did not want to pay the $200 paint fee. No problem, I'm told - they'll take the paint charge off. Get the bill of sale - there's a paint fee. Tell them to take it off. Go into the dealership to finalize the sale - still a paint fee. Remind them to take it off. Money is about to exchange hands - that damn paint fee is *still* on the bill of sale!

Before picking up the car, I do some math and realize that the $2500 extended warranty plan (for scratches, stains, windshield and fobs) is not worth it. Go in, tell them I don't want it anymore, and suddenly the "deal" for rust, 3M, etc.is gone. Because - apparently - bundling those extras only saves the dealership labor hours.if you buy the extended warranty. Seriously, no joke - that's the straight-face explanation I got. (The two are unrelated!) Am then told they'd ​take $800 off the "extras". If I paid $1200 for the extended warranty. Seriously, WTF?

At this point, I just felt awful and wanted to leave. Ready to pay - but since I wasn't financing, there suddenly didn't seem to be much interest in helping me. Finally someone comes along to take my money - only to say I've gone over their max credit card transaction limit and they're going to charge me an extra 3% to cover the fee. Ask if I can split it over two credit cards, thereby avoiding the max per transaction. That apparently won't work (and somehow the deposit I paid *a week ago* counts towards the max). Now I'm really upset - this wasn't mentioned at all when I put down my deposit on credit, or when discussing payment options. Eventually they agree to "swallow" the cost (seriously - WTF?).

Get home and realize that the remote car starter (main reason I went for premium model) is only accessible through an app.that I'll have to pay a fee to use. (Again, not explained by the sales folk).

Horrible, horrible. It feels awful - especially for a big, scary, first-time purchase - knowing that the staff are blatantly trying to manipulate you and upsell for all you're worth. It feels awful having to double check and doubt everything because the staff are so untrustworthy. Never again.

This is the place to purchase your Hyundai! Sunny, Mark, and Marco were amazing. We wanted a vehicle that wasn't in stock and they worked super hard to find one to bring in. There are no sketchy sales pitches and no bells and whistles - these guys truly just want to make you and keep you happy! I would 1000% recommend them to anyone looking into a Hyundai. We visited other Hyundai dealers (and even purchased from one) but these guys put them to shame! Even though they are across the city from us, I am so so glad we found them and look forward to servicing our vehicle with them. Go there, you won't regret it! Plus, you get to hit a giant gong when you purchase which is super cool. Thanks guys!

I had an incredible experience with Josh and Sunny from Calgary Hyundai! It started when I inquired about an Elantra online around 6: 30pm when the dealership was closed for the night, not expecting a response until the morning. Sunny gave me a call immediately within a few minutes to see if I had any specific questions about the vehicle he could answer and to set up a time for the next morning for a test drive. He even sent me a useful video of the vehicle, all of which was done after hours and incredibly quickly! I was so pleased to receive such speedy service.

When I went in for my test drive the next morning, my salesperson Josh was nothing but the best! He took the time to understand why my fiancé and I were in the market for a car and considered our lifestyles. He was very patient with our decision-making and made us feel comfortable with the experience the entire time because he made a strong connection with us. Thank you Josh for making sure I was comfortable with the price I paid, and ensuring my new vehicle was safe, reliable and that I would have easy and affordable maintenance.

I am so happy with my car purchase and I have the lovely Josh and Sunny to thank for that. I will be buying my family’s next car at Calgary Hyundai.

Went to dealership to buy a pre owned Tucson, there was miscommunication regarding price and mileage on call, but they explained the issue and I was not disappointed. Though I didn't buy the car from them, I can say Sunny and Kingsley are good and provided me options.

Although my review denotes ‘one star’, I must clarify that this rating pertains to the Sales Department - NOT the Service Department.

The Service Department is unmatched in excellence! The, shortly to follow, explication of the abhorrent Sales Department is mitigated by the outstanding Service Department, all-around. All members of the Service Department deserve accolades! But, in particular, Joey Campbell is the individual I must boast about. Joey has been my Service Advisor since 2018, and he has remained the most knowledgeable, patient, informative, and transparent representative of any establishment I have yet encountered. In addition to his exceptional customer service, he imbues a disposition brighter than the sun. The ever-exceptional vehicle maintenance with the ever-exceptional employees of the Service Department are the sole reason I return to Calgary Hyundai.

I purchased my (second) brand new vehicle from Calgary Hyundai in August 2020… it is now August 2021. My first experience and vehicle purchase at Calgary Hyundai was absolutely amazing which, consequently, enticed me to return to them for the purchase of my current vehicle.

THE DECISION TO PURCHASE FROM CALGARY HYUNDAI IS AN ONGOING HUGE, HUMILIATING, AND EXPENSIVE MISTAKE.

Since the day I drove my BRAND NEW vehicle home in August 2020, it was, and continues to be, laden with mechanical, contractual, and registration issues. The vehicle did not start for the first week, so my car was essentially a paperweight for that duration. Approximately 3-months later, my DRIVER-SIDE DOOR BECAME INOPERABLE BECAUSE THE HANDLE IS DEFECTIVE - no big deal though, right? I bought this car because I have a penchant for entering my vehicles from the passenger door… this is not a mortifying subjection, whatsoever - especially in a brand new vehicle.

One-year later, and my vehicle is still defective; the thousands of dollars spent on extended-coverage warranty was well worth it. Oh, and even more exciting is the no-registration fine I received last month because THE PROPER DOCUMENTATION WAS NOT FILED NOR SENT TO THE REGISTRY UPON PURCHASE IN AUGUST OF 2020. Even though I brought this to attention of several Sales representatives, I was incorrigibly dismissed on each occasion. In addition to this I, again, only last month received my replacement key for the fob I was directed to ‘dismantle’ in August of 2020 to replace with new batteries that would, obviously, render my car operable. This, again, did not remedy the situation. So, as I mentioned, I paid for a vehicle that I was not able to drive for a week.

Following the FIRST attempt to fix my driver-side door, I was provided with a week-long loaner vehicle; and, to clarify, this is not a generous gesture, this is a stipulation in the warranty contract. Furthermore, if no vehicle is available for loan, the dealership is contractually obligated to provide a third-party rental vehicle. However, I was told otherwise. After receiving a new battery in August and being provided the loaner vehicle the following December, I was told I was no longer going to be provided additional assistance because I had been graciously helped with the aforementioned debacles. This refusal of service pertained to my, for the second time, inoperable driver-side door. The subsequent repair allowed for me to remain at the dealership, if only for several hours… but, hey - “it’s just a service, ” is the ongoing rhetoric of the Sales staff when expressing my, seemingly, inferior concerns regarding a BRAND NEW vehicle.

My car is, as cliché as it sounds, a lemon. So, 1-year later, I am grossly overpaying for a defective vehicle and extended warranty, never mind the time spent in and/or out of the dealership with such profound hope that my warranty, maintenance, and overall vehicle existence be, at the very least, acknowledged.

It is all fun and games until the last of the signatures is signed. Err on the side of caution if considering business with any of the male, ‘senior’ staff.

I am patiently awaiting that follow-up, too, Sales.

One of the best experiences I had. I had contacted Sonny and told what I was looking for and he made sure that I got everything I was looking for in a car. Got it all done quick and fast, he knows what he is doing, great customer service. All staff were great and very inviting. I would definitely recommend stopping by this location.

Biggest shout out goes to Shelby Morgan who was so patient with me while I tried different vehicles then worked out a trade-in deal that fit my budget. She made the process seamless - and even fun! We had many laughs and I appreciated her laidback demeanour so much. Once the agreement was written up, I was then passed on to Trent Elberg who took THE BEST care of me. He made time to answer my questions (in-person and over email) and broke it all down in layman's terms. When I finally got into my new vehicle, Raj Kooner went through all the specs and got me super excited for my new wheels. And finally, a shout out to Scott Hudema who hooked me up with cross rails and a ski rack then drove it out to me himself after it was backordered. Talk about amazing service all around!

There is a reason why this dealership is highly rated. From the word go they displayed an exceptional professional attitude and agreed to my demands to earn my business. In the troubled COVID times they were able to ship my Palisade 17 hours away from the dealership to a remote location.

Very ridiculous and poor experience with service department.
If there was a option of 0-star to give then I would have given that to them, they don’t even deserve 1-star.
They will only be nice to you when they are supposed to sell a car but Once You Bought it then there service regarding any problems related to your vehicle will not bother them. They are least interested to help you out.
There manager Sunny is also very rude. He only talk nicely when he is finalizing the deal with you.
Buying a car from them was my worst decision I have ever made in life.

Car has been there for three months waiting for recall repair, parts were on back order and have been in for a month now and still no work has been done. Have been told three weeks in a row that it would be getting into the shop end of next week. Every time I’ve called at the end of that week there’s always another excuse as to why they haven’t gotten it in yet! Service advisors barely call back when trying to reach them. If they do call back it’s most likely going to be two to three days later not in the timely manner like their voicemail says.

I have been taking my car to Calgary Hyundai for servicing for years, Ryan is a fantastic mechanic! He is fast, honest and does a great job. Devin is my service advisor and he is very friendly and explains things easily to me so I can understand them. That said, every advisor I have dealt with has been very friendly. Recently I talked to sales guy Josh, and true to Calgary Hyundai form. Josh was a great guy. He listened, he understood, he worked hard and kept in touch with me while trying to find the car I was looking for. All around I would recommend this dealership. They seem to have good CoVid procedures, the waiting room is clean and well spaced (and the hot chocolate in the dispenser is delicious!). Great job everyone!

I wanted to get information on parts/accessories of one of the two Hyundais I own. I went to parts and right away without listening transferred me to the service team then at service waited for a while and got told to speak to parts. Once I told them I got transferred to them from parts they sidestepped to go to "Hyundai Canada". Hyundai Canada also does not have an answer as they only deal with 2020 and 2021.

I was in the market to buy my first car and with so many dealerships out there I was definitely overwhelmed. I've heard to be careful of salesmen at dealerships up-selling you in some ways so it was definitely nerve-wracking trying to find someone I could trust. When I came across an online ad for a 2019 Hyundai Elantra GT I fell in love and booked a test drive immediately, and from there on I had the most amazing experience at this dealership. Matteo and Humphrey worked together to ensure I was getting everything I wanted, while also looking out for me and making sure I was making a smart choice financially. They had my car delivered to my work with winter tires put on in a matter of hours of signing the papers, and I have no doubt in my mind I made the right decision in having them help me, and I am in love with my first car! Would highly recommended these two and this dealership to anyone.

Excellent experience overall. This was my first time at this dealership, taking my wife's car in for a much-needed oil change. Joey in the Service Department checked me in quickly, despite my not having a Hyundai vehicle, and took down my information and showed me to the waiting area. While seated, new car salesperson Chris Liao swung by and introduced himself and offered me a coffee. Chris took me on a tour of the small but clean showroom and pointed out features in the new vehicle revisions they had on display in the showroom.

The oil change itself was performed very quickly, and I was on my way within an hour. Very impressed with this dealership, and an extra well-deserved shout-out to both Joey in service and Chris L in sales.

Very happy I visited. I had a lot of question regarding what options I had trading in my current Hyundai for something newer and their associate Cody was able to answer them all. Cody's advice throughout was very objective which I appreciated as it really helped me feel comfortable with my decision. As a fan of Hyundai cars I am very happy I found this dealership.

Do not ever go to this dealership. Once they have your information they will harass you non stop. Would give zero stars but not able to. Had a Hyundai Sonata that I took here for service once. Biggest mistake of my life. Since the day I picked my car up they have phoned and harassed me at least once a week for the last two years. I am currently seeking a lawyer to find out what action I can take against this outright abuse. I sold my Hyundai over two and a half years ago and still receive these calls. I can honestly say this single dealership has confirmed that I will never own another Hyundai product and will tell anyone who listens to never buy one as well.

Wow, what a great experience! Props to Grayson and Chris for working with me and going out of their way to make up for where another dealer fell short. They listened, gave me more than fair pricing on trade ins, and got me into 2 new vehicles at a great price. Oh yah, and they don't pressure and keep their word. Fantastic.

I have both purchased and serviced my vehicle at this dealership and I have nothing but nice things to say about the Service Department and a wavering opinion on Sales. The purchasing process was a little pushy, but I expected that and am still waiting for them to fulfill parts of my deal, 4 months later. On the other hand, the service department was amazing to deal with all thanks to Amber! Very helpful and accomodating service!

Traded my civic in here a few weeks ago and regret it. There was heavy rust damage on the vehicle I wanted that wasn’t disclosed. Then on the day of the trade got the run around and needed to run out to the registry cause they were being difficult. Then they didn’t have the cash ready for me for my trade said they would send the next day. They never did and I had to chase them for my money the day after it should have been sent. Once the roads got slick and I went to use the wipers the fluid spray doesn’t work and they’ve ignored all calls and emails to repair. Overall bad experience I wish I had just kept my car. Now I’m on the hook to fix a broken vehicle.

Just had my car in for a oil change and part recall, and even though the place was busy, they got it done in a timely fashion. Also the coffee station in the waiting area is awesome, which was great considering how cold it was outside.

Im not a actual Hyundai customer, But when I had to buy a 2009 Hyundai Tucson off a former roommate because he was in financial difficulties I took this vehicle into Calgary Hyundai, The service associate (A wonderful young gal) was very helpful and advised me that there were recalls for the vehicle which they fixed, They heard my story that I was going to resell the vehicle privately and wanted it in good condition, The service associate the mechanic gave me some good tips, normally most dealerships won’t go out of their way like that, The Tucson was a great vehicle and cheap on gas and great to use on long distance fishing trips compared to my truck, So if anyone out there is looking for a smaller vehicle that’s great on gas and their Wallet for their wife / teens or so on there’s a great Junior sales associate named Josh Pilling he will help you out. I have a 2013 Elantra. Last week I brought my car to this dealership and I had the best experience with them. They helped me replaced my engine and labor at no cost. Amber was my my agent. She is really great in helping her clients. She loaned me a car for a week and gave me lots of freebies. She understood my needs and ensured that I am happy and 100% satisfied bringing home my car. This is the best Hyundai dealership. The manager is great too! Being supportive to Amber. Thank you guys! I highly appreciate your work!

I went to Calgary Hyundai for the first time to get my windshield wipers inspected as they had stopped working. My Service provider, Amber Chen, was very friendly and provided me with great customer service. On the other hand, the actual services I was being told I needed was another story. They ran a diagnostic on my wipers, told me that the linkage was broken and needed to be replaced. They also told me my motor for the front wipers was about to go. Having this all replaced they quoted me $1000. I was skeptical and I'm glad that I was. I started to look up how much these parts cost on hyundaioemparts.ca, each part they told me I needed to be replaced was marked-up around $100. They would not price match me as the site was from an Ontario dealership but they did not have a parts listing website for Alberta, therefore they do not price match! I called around and had my step dad look at my wipers. He looked at them.nothing was broken. He took a part the motor, put it back together and the wipers work just fine. I will never take my car back to this dealership to be serviced, WHAT A SCAM!

Purchased a beautiful 2020 Santa Fe from Sunny at Calgary Hyundai. Was approved financing and drove off within 24 hours. Amazing customer service. Ery impressed with this service dept. Had an appt where the vehicle was required for the day. We dropped it off midday the day prior to the appt. Many service depts would wait until the scheduled appt. Not these guys, they got on it right away and our vehicle was back way before expected! Awesome service! Thanks!
