Thanks to CIWA in collaboration with Bow Valley College and wonderful people like: Farzana, Lara, Saadia and Rohini, I was selected to study accelerated ECE certificate level 1. I was assisted at every step! Live online platform was secure, well designed, instructors were so patience to guide us in details how to use it, interview guidance for a job position and submission of our transcript to obtain certificate were provided. I invite immigrants to drop by CIWA, or call to book and appointment. They have amazing people woking to support immigrants in Canada.
Thanks a lot to CIWA staff and to Bridging the GAP for foreign trained accountants. After I had an internship with one of CIWA business partners, I’ve got a job offer! It’s unforgettable experience and a chance for new career opportunities!
CIWA provided valuable guidelines and support for our Canadian citizenship process, and everything worked out fine. Also, CIWA arranged tickets for Telus Spark Science Park and the Arts Commons Concert Hall for the whole family, and it was a great experience and opportunity. Titi is amazing, and everyone at CIWA is extremely helpful, cooperative and kind. Best wishes to CIWA.
I’ve always taught that if I have the education and skills needed, I can easily get any job. But I was wrong. CIWA through Bridging The Gap for Foreign Trained Accountants has taught me a lot of things that I wasn’t aware of. I can simply look back where I was before I joined BTG and where I am today, there’s a huge difference. I got job opportunities from my dream job just few weeks after this program, unbelievable! Thanks CIWA for ongoing supports especially for a newcomer like me.
The south Asian team has no knowledge of professional talking and show anger and attitude if sm1 doesn't pick up the thing, says that on fave in regular way which is not professional call behavior n if it comes out their fault has no courtesy to say sorry too. Pathetic talking ethics. Just learning English and polite language has difference.
I want to leave a review for Rana Manhood. She always asks about me, checks in on me, supports me, gives me good advice. She is like a sister to me. She is always pushing me to be better and to take care of myself, she always gives me good advice and words of encouragement. She always makes sure I’m ok. I really appreciate her, she is a very kind woman. Thank you.
I took part in the program for foriegn trained professional (CSFPT) My experience from start till end was very good and useful. All the instructors were knowledgeable and friendly.
This place is amazing, they are very supportive and dependable, they look out for your interest and make sure you get the attention you require. You can always call on them when you’re in need of assistance and the ladies that works there are magnificent. The programs they have really help you to get back on your feet, prepping you for the work force if you haven’t been working for a period of time and if you are new to the country or city it’s the best place to connect. Thumbs up ️
I would like to thank everyone at CIWA for giving us this opportunity to experience Canadian education and help us enhance our skills professionally and personally as well. The instructors were really helpful and were always willing to help us in every way they can. I would suggest every newcomer to grab this opportunity.
I enrolled in the Career Services for Foreign Trained Professionals program in October 2022, and the support and information given by the instructors was immeasurable. I met so many amazing women and I feel a lot more confident now!
Learning from Herly has been a great experience. She is a very thoughtful instructor who puts a lot of thought into how to presents the material in a easy way. Her lessons were engaging and very useful. Moreover. She was very patient with everyone in class always encouraging her students to try. She paces the class just right so you feel challenged but not overwhelmed. I would highly recommend her.

CIWA is a Highly recommended organization for Immigrant Women and their families. When I was introduced to them as a new comer with several issues on settling in etc, I had no idea how much they had to offer till I visited. Their level of professionalism was impressive, I received a warm welcome and was attended to in a timely manner. The staff assigned to me was amazing, she kept following up to ensure I was comfortable. I got enrolled in one of their classes without any regrets. Their daycare facility and staff was great. Thanks to the sponsors and all the Staff at CIWA, you guys are the BEST!
I am writing to share my deeply pleasure to Mrs, Titi Memar. She helps and supports my all the time. She is one of the best and professional person that I have ever seen in my life. THANKS TITI. GOD BLESS YOU.
The services I got from this organization was efficient and satisfactory. Great place to visit for settlement, integration, and employment services and support. Thank you for bringing back my confidence!
CIWA not only helps in personal development of immigrant women and youth, but also offer educational programs and assistance for professional development. I have an amazing experience working as a volunteer for CIWA. Highly recommend this place.
What a waste of time! 2 weeks ago I called to ask for help about employment insurance talked with HELEN on 3th floor she booked me for today at 1 pm. When I got here SHE WAS WITH A another CLIENT. She booked other person. She never registered my appointment WHAT A WASTE OF TIME.
As a former client who learned about CIWA the very first week that I entered Calgary, I can say the staff were really nice & willing to help. They went out of their way to help & support me the best way they could. But being an ex-employee gave me a new perspective of behind the scene: the poor management, bullying, disrespect, lack of support or even understanding are just some examples of how badly staff are being treated in this place! I feel sorry for all the years that I wasted there even if the nature of my job was appealing to me. It was a mere nightmare for most of us & finally I lost my job due to gov.cut in funding. I could easily give 5 negative stars if there was an option to do so. I am glad that I don't work there anymore.
Very informative and a learning centre for those who cannot speak or write English very well so you should visit this place after arrival to Canada will be very beneficial in future.
