Al Hamdolilah best Masjid near down town felt very peaceful the khutbah was Comprehensive and precise Masha Allah date of visit 5th August 2023

Great place for everyone seeking peace and tranquility in the city of Calgary. May god expand this masjid more for the sake of people.

The community is extremely nice with lots of volunteers and the imam's voice is beautiful. If i could i would give this 10 stars.

As much as it pains me to write this review, I wish I can give a zero star for the way they treated my family, after my father passed away in 2013. It was so disgraceful and disrespectful. The numerous office staff we had to deal with were so rude and unhelpful. His tombstone took 8 years to finally get placed. This happened after a number of phone calls, emails and fights over why they took so long. Not to mention the fact that they moved his burial site (we have photographic evidence). Awful experience

If I could give zero star rating I would. Absolutely disgusted and saddened at the handling and 8 year delay of my fathers Tombstone. The blatant disrespect, mishandling and dismissive response after payment was collected has not only caused undue distress on my family, but I have lost faith in this institution all togather. Thank you for the reminder that business comes before Islam to you guys.

I came from out of town to pray Juma during Covid but I guess they could only accomodate the brothers because of space restrictions. While I couldn’t pray as a female the kind parking lot attendant offered me to pray with his wife at his house instead. Very kind and thoughtful. Thank you for the warm Albertan hospitality. It looked like a lovely place from the outside. Inshallah May Allah bless this masjid and the people running the Juma prayers. It wasn’t my qismet this time but Inshallah I have another opportunity to pray inside if I ever return to Calgary again.

The beautiful Calgary Islamic Centre SW Masjid is a beautiful mosque for Sunni Muslims. The architecture reminds me of the mosques in Cairo, Egypt. I miss my vacations in Middle East and North Africa (MENA) when I see its exterior design. I hope we can construct an extension to this mosque to make it even bigger and more beautiful for future generations.
